The Game is Crashing

After I updated my iPhone 8 plus from IOS 14 beta 3 to beta 4, the game started crashing when I try to start the app. In the IOS 14 beta 3, the game worked fine, however, now I can't play the game anymore.

Mic is not working

Re posting cause didn't get any solution in the previous one. Hope it won't be deleted.

I used to play alone that's why I never noticed it. Recently I have started to play with a friend and I have noticed my mic doesn't work most of the time. Sometimes it works on lobby and if I keep it that way it works in the match. But if I turn off for some reason, it doesn't work anymore and also stops after the end of the match or if I create a new lobby. My friend said one of her friends also faced the same issue that means I am not alone. I have tried all the possible solutions and the permission to use mic is on. Does anyone know how to fix this or anyone else here facing the same issue???

Beta things

Why do i remember there was slide kills in beta? Like you could just slide to kill an enemy infront of you. Also there was this heartbeat thing when you're low on health you'll hear heavy heart beating until you're full health again. Idk why devs removed heartbeat thing from this game!

Has anyone else experienced these bugs?

Earlier today when I played my second ranked match of the day I found 2 bugs that were simply annoying but not exactly game breaking. The first was random FoV glitches where my screen would zoom in as if i was ADSing and it would only fix if I ADSed. It made it harder to focus in the hardpoint when I had to periodically fix the glitch. This second one might just be a feature but in the same game I found out that my baseball bat dealt no damage to people when they had the katana operator active. The first time I saw this happen i thought I just missed but when i hit a katana user at point blank 3 times and they just turn around and kill me it's ridiculous. I am unsure if the knife, ice pick, axe, hachi, etc are affected the same way but even if they are it makes no sense for them not to kill or atleast hitmarker.

On their recent Second Quarter Earnings Call, Activision-Blizzard has mentioned about COD Mobile's massive success. In Q2 2020, Call of duty Mobile has seen much better engagement and player investment, which might be an effect of the ongoing lockdown around the globe. And it seems that the current tailwind is in the favor of Activision-Blizzard as they are planning to bring more of the Activision's IPs on mobile devices in the future.

Not only Call of Duty Mobile but the Candy Crush franchise has also seen significant growth in this quarter. While the monthly active users remain higher each year, in Q2 2020, Candy Crush saw double-digit growth.

Following Call of Duty Mobile, fans have already heard about the arrival of Crash franchise on the mobile platform. Activision's beloved Crash franchise is entering the mobile segment with Crash Bandicoot: On the Run. The long-awaited Diablo Immortal is also set to start its internal testing next week after they revealed a new trailer during China Joy 2020. However, these are not everything. Standoff map, Just used a care package and 5 secs later, I got killed by an enemy.

Sound cutting in and out in official build on Android.

Not sure what happened to the previous post and upvotes.

I've noticed for the past couple weeks my sound in game has been cutting in and out and I'll lose audio and microphone ability until it either comes back or I have to unplug the headset and plug it back in. This happens numerous times per match or sometimes only once. Happens mostly during BR.

I originally thought something was wrong with my phone and took it to a local Samsung store. They inspected the device and ran tests for over an hour and concluded that it's fine. So I went home and I listened to some YouTube videos, didn't lose sound or have any issues once. Decided to try out the beta server. It was different but an audio bug still present, the sound gets very distorted with static and then cuts out and eventually returns. So for some reason there's a bug causing sound to cut out and sometimes not come back.

Android 10 July update, no root or custom rom. Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. I have already cleared all data and cache which actually seemed to help for the first few hours. But then it returned and it's progressively getting worse. Even more odd, sometimes when this occurs I will also lose touchscreen response until it either comes back or I get a pop-up message indicating that call of duty has stopped responding.

Do you want a crash report that I can send directly to you? I have tried many times to contact in game support but they don't seem to exist anymore. Ghosted for weeks.

Is anyone else running into this problem? I know iOS was having something similar happen, I thought this was my phone's fault but that doesn't seem to be the case. This issue seems to occur more often when gunfire from an opponent starts but happens without too. I've tested other apps such as YouTube and music but can't replicate it outside of codm. Tested a different headphone adapter and set of headphones but had the same results.

Devs / support please advise.

Gravity spikes are weird

So the map was firing range, hardpoint mode, I was on cabin between b and c dom spots. Someone used gravity spike in 1st hp area. I got killed in cabin, how does that work?

These spikes don't work on ground if there is some object between two players meanwhile here I got killed in cabin which is couple meters above the ground.

Maybe it’s just me but a few nerfs needed imo:

Snipers: 1 shot kills should only count for head shots. If I get shot in the foot I should live... Also turn their aim assist down. A sniper shouldn’t be able to run around the map, quick fire at me, be off by 2 feet and still get the kill.

Gravity Spikes Range: 15 meters away behind a wall should be safe....

Emulators: Ban them all!! It’s a MOBILE game for small devices not someone on a 60 inch monitor. Also, the only way to cheat on this game is through a pc. So just ban them. They can play a “non-mobile” game.

Am i the only on that thinks small maps like Cage shouldnt be played in TDM or any other game modes that have more than like 3 or 2 players. It's just absoulute mayhem and when you spawn from a death you instantly get spawn killed.

Issues opening app on iOS14

I’ve never had an issue opening up COD Mobile on my iPhone 11 running iOS 14 up until this morning. The app appears for a second and then exits out onto the Home Screen.

I have deleted and installed the game five times now and am getting the same results. I haven’t changed any settings before deleting or afterwards.

Let me know if you are experiencing the same issues or if you know of a fix.

Screen randomly zooms in

So I have an iPhone 11 and this has never happened to me before. This bug started last Monday. Basically I would be playing ranked as usual but then the screen randomly zooms in. Will attachments be easier to grind out with gunsmith?

I’ve seen it takes over a whopping 600 purple XP cards to max a gun out with gunsmith, now I don’t have access to such an abundance of cards, so are they making it easier to grind out the attachments? It already takes a while, so it’s gonna take a whole season to max a gun out without cards otherwise.

this photo shows how many cps i had, i even recharged a few days ago, after a battle royale game i went to the game lobby and saw that i had lost all my CPs (call of duty points) i didn’t log my accounts on any site, I had a count of 365 CPs, I even uninstalled and installed the game again, restarted my cell phone and nothing. I've already sent a message to the game support and so far nothing, I've tried to spend buying something with CP (call of duty points) and it really disappeared, I hope you can help me and also if it is a bug solve it so that it can't happen with other people.

I also looked at all my loadouts and my last games played have no changes

Different saved HUD load out

So I think pubg has this option. Basically when a person is setting their HUD, they can basically have 4 to 5 saved setups. This helps for people playing from different devices at different times from the same account.

For comparison it is like the load out option where u can have 5 load outs at max for different matches and the respective maps. For eg I would use snipers for crossfire but I’ll use smgs for nuke town. Stuff like that . Pls devs give this option !

The common variant of all guns are coming out in S9, accept it

I've seen post about the cordite and kn44 coming out in the level system and lots of people on the community seem to be angry about this and we shouldn't be.

As a sub we need to stop gatekeeping the addition of common versions of weapons coming out in the levels system. We grinded for the guns and got to play with them for months ahead of those who didn't. We didn't pay for them, they aren't season exclusive and they aren't even skins, it needs to be accepted that they are going to be available for all, look at everything that we will have next season, is it not worth it for a couple of common weapons being available for all?

Saving my progress with a Facebook account?

Hey there,
I play the game on PC by using Gameloop as an emulator.
I wanted to save my progress, so I headed up to the Settings, where I was given 3 options: A "Call Of Duty / Activision" account, a Facebook account or a Google Account.

I tried to create an Activision account first, but I can't send the creation request - it seems like the emulator "prevents" this button from actually working. Creating the account through my browser is not possible because I don't have an Activision ID (and don't want to buy it for only this reason).
For the Google sign-in possibility, it also didn't work, so I decided to use my Facebook account. This worked, but now, the option to sign in with the Google account completely disappeared - only an Activision account is now possible to save my progress aside from the Facebook account.

My question is: Does connecting the game with a Facebook account actually save your progress?

I know, this is a question that sounds very dumb, but I am actually not quite sure, so I ask the community ... thanks for your help!

Core difference between CODM gameplay and PUBGM gameplay

Firstly, not a hate post. Both games are great BUT as far as whatever experience I have with both games go; I've come to the conclusion that these two games encourage two polar opposite approach to combat and hugely affects the tactical requirements of the two games. The differences in core mechanics that I've witnessed are:-

  1. Movement in general: CODM has a more responsive/arcady/snappy movement and actions while PUBGM has the opposite; a bit wonky tbh. I felt CODM characters move a bit faster too while in PUBGM we move a tiny bit slower (though this could very well be placebo)

​

​

  1. Damage system: In CODM, we are a good bit more bullet spongey and the opposite is true in PUBGM.

​

(I'll leave out class system and codm's glide feature; as they affect more of the strategical elements rather than base/micro tactics)

​

These two difference in these core mechanics changed the way the average player plays each game. There will be outliers in both game but I'm talking about the average player here.. In PUBGM, since the avg player needs less bullets to kill an avg opponent and due to the wonky controls, being campy and defensive is more profitable and hence is the go to strat WHILE in CODM, moving around is easy and since you need a good bit more bullets to kill the avg opponent, being on the move and mastering strafe shooting is usually more safer than camping especially in squad matches (In PUBGM it's easy to kill two, maybe even three opponents standing near each other with just one ext.mag on, say, an AR or SMG without needing to reload.. you can't do that in CODM, where you, more often than not, need to commit an entire 30-40 round, SMG or AR mag for just one opponent in a typical engagement). In a solo BR match, this means that if you get caught once in PUBGM, your chances of survival are slim (so everyone tends to resort to a more campy and defensive strategy while in CODM, you still have a chance to hop away even if you get caught so being constant...

So obviously the second draw of the Color Spectrum KN-44 has been out for a while now and I missed out on the first draw. Glitches and bugs

The katana has brought many glitches in the game .When used it for the first time I got stuck in a wall and then the next match my camera glitched while using the katana and today the game literally went into first person mode from third person and my katana vanished into thin air (80% was left on the katana to be used). I Climbed to Legendary on a New Account (Main is 10k points, average player). Here is my experience. (Tips and Tricks Included)

**Please note, this is my opinion so it may not agree with your thoughts. This is a generalization and my observations, so these may not always apply.

My loadout: RUS (iron sight, long barrel, Extended mag, Foregrip) ; Secondary: SMRS

Perks: dead silence, toughness, lightweight

Score Streaks: UAV, Counter UAV, Goliath

I choose the RUS because it is pretty versatile, nice ads time, good ttk, complements movement, and easy to obtain (you get it at level 8). I choose the SMRS for taking down score streaks, as they are free 100 points and can take out UAVs while you will be flanking. Dead silence so the enemy can't hear me as I approach. (useful for taking engagements, and helps a ton on Search and Destroy), toughness for my aim (more shots will land), lightweight for better movement. Rookie I - V: Very easy opponents. No map awareness, no aim, no movement. Most opponents will funnel into the main choke point and stand and shoot. Simply flanking or aiming better is good enough to get you out of Rookie. I was getting 150 ish points at Rookie, with an average of 7+ K/D. (One thing I found interesting was a lot of PDW and M4LMG was being used here)

Veteran I - V: Easy opponents. Slightly more awareness, so no more pushing into their spawn or you might get killed. No movement. Some have decent aim. Here new players will have more experience so expect a slightly more tougher opponent. You might face against 1 or 2 carries on the other team, or not be good enough to carry, but overall it should be easy if you can aim and out gun the opponent, and be somewhat aware of your posi...

They should make it so if teammates hit you with a vehicle it doesn't affect you because I got hit by a teammate who intentionally ran me over with a vehicle and I couldn't even move and an enemy was using mechanic and I died because of my stupid teammate. Question about BR randoms

So Battle Royale has been one of the, if not the most popular, genre of video games for the better part of half a decade now... That being said, can someone tell me how in 2020, people can still fuck up the most fundamental and Universal rules of Battle Royale. Don't take fights with people who have a sniper on top of a hill with a shotgun. Don't make so much damn noise when the circle is only about 2 feet big. STICK TOGETHER. If you're the jump leader and two or more people are pinging one area, go there instead of somewhere random. If you're downed, get behind cover so your teammates can revive you, and actually revive your damn teammates instead of allowing them to bleed out. Share loot that you don't need, like adrenaline. If you think there's an enemy, ping the location of the enemy, if you're getting shot at, ping the location of the enemy, generally just ping the location of the enemy. And last but not least, STICK TOGETHER!

iPad vs Note 10/20 for codm

I have some money that I’ve been saving for sometime to upgrade one of my mobile gaming devices (tablet/phone) but I’m stuck between getting an iPad Pro or one of those higher end android phones like the Note 10/20 (Cause of big screen/ high refresh rate, etc). Multiplayer Bug - Katana tpp mode and fov glitch

If I use katana and get a sentry gun and place my sentry gun somewhere while I am in tpp mode, I play the game in tpp till I die this is hard to shoot. Also if someone uses katana the whole lobbies fov changes this is annoying and because of this at times I cannot see the katana user or enemies if they come from my left/right side because my fov is all zoomed in and weird. Dont know if this is a bug or a feature but please fix/remove this, my fov should not be based on actions performed by other players but should only be what I have been playing with and have chosen it to be from the setting menu.

Looking for a clan for multiple people

Hey, i am a current clan master and im tired of weeding out the non-players and i honestly had a not-rated-pg name. I had tried to change it before cuz I realized it was stupid, but i never could. Now its been reset to some random string of characters -_-

So basically theres about 7-10 of us that regularly get 2-3k or more season points. 1 or 2 get 6k+. I think theres 1 or 2 legendaries among us. We all play both MP and BR, and team up and use chat. Togther between the few of us we kept the clan as high as top 60% once, usually top 70-80%.

Crates

It would be nice to have no duplicate crates. They'd still make enough money or even more because the reason people don't buy crates is because if you buy more than 10 you're just getting duplicates which is just 50 credits and do you think that 50 credits is worth 120 cp per crate? I know you can get 500 credits from an epic variant but the epic skins are rare to get and nobody wants 500 credits. And everyone would comment and say "that would defeat the purpose of the epic skins" why would we get epic skins in a battle pass if it would defeat the purpose? It would still cost over 2k cp worth so that would still make a lot of money and it's bassically only youtubers who buy crates so it would make sense to make them non duplicates downvote me all you want but I still want guaranteed weapons. If 2k cp isn't enough add more weapons to crates so it's 30 pulls

Buff the Dragonfire

Correct me if I'm wrong anywhere. The Dragonfire drone is a controversial score streak in my opinion. It is can be activated by getting 900 points without dying. That's on par with the xs1 Goliath, sentry gun and the airstrike. But is it really. First disadvantage is that you can only use it in open areas of the map which leaves you vulnerable to being killed. This is also another one of its disadvantage compared to other score screams which are remotely operated, it is the only one which you can die during operation. Another thing is the damage. You only get three shots which hitmarker rather than kill. They should buff that. It's recon side is the only positive about it. One time a teammate of mine had it and it was the last round of a SnD match which we were tied at 4 -4 knowing where the enemy was gave us a big advantage. What do you guys think of this upvote please let me know. Hope devs see this. Upvote to increase likelihood. One an unrelated note how to counter trap masterxD

Tencent version(Test server) seems to be more optimized than Garena

I live in the Philippines so basically I get the GARENA version but I've been playing the test server app since the 4th rank season until now. And there's something that I've noticed especially on BR. The TENCENT version just feels smoother.

On the test server I can play BR on very high quality with a comfortable 60fps for long periods of time while on GARENA, if I set the graphics to very high I get 45-50fps right off the bat when starting BR then after 2-3 minutes it quickly drops to 35-40fps.

I can only sustain 60fps on medium quality with GARENA which is a bummer.

Has anyone noticed this too?

P.S. I play on a Galaxy S10+ (exynos aka the shittier version)

Offline mode

Would any of you like to see an offline mode?

It has all the same features as regular multiplayer but its against bots and the xp you gain is reduced and when you play battle royal it's the same deal. Unspoken Squad Rules (BR edition)
  1. Every member has different style of playing. Supporting and sticking together with each other.
  2. You can cancel following the jump leader but You should jump where the Squad does. If you jump away from the squad to a different place, your squad mates don’t owe it to you to rescue you.
  3. Rescuing your teammates should be the utmost priority.
  4. Whoever kills the enemy, gets the loot. Even if it was your kill and your teammate got the last bullet in, it’s still his loot. Because let’s be honest, we all get each other’s kills all the time.
  5. If your squad is going on the platform, jump close to each other, rather than spreading out. If one of you die, you can easily get the tag.
  6. If you die by tripping on the trap wire, TURN YOUR MIC ON and warn your teammates.
  7. If you die, wait at least until your tag expires, to rage quit. Because sometimes your teammates are looking for vehicles to reach you and you rage quit thinking that no one is coming.
  8. Warn about the snipers.
  9. If you’re airborne, try deploying the airborne close to the squad.

gunsmith - regarding optics and advantages/disadvantages

I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense, so please bear with me haha.

But with the new gunsmith update to multiplayer, I can see how each attachment has certain advantages and disadvantages (such as faster ADS time but slower strafe speed) etc.. While I have not played the new modern warfare; I was wondering when you equip a RED DOT optic, does even the base red dots have these disadvantages and advantages too??

So for some weapons, wouldn't it in turn be better to not use an optic at all and just use the base iron sight so you don't get any of the disadvantages (such as slower ads speed/movement speed)?? For instance, the M4A1 or AK117 in my opinion have amazing iron sights that are easy to use. So would it be advantageous to not equip an optic? thanks!! :)

Ranked *long text so bare with me*

So someone had made a poll, on whether Ranked should reset on each season or not, some people said no it shouldn't due to them having other priorities, which is completely understandable obviously, and some said yes cause a lot of people reach legendary by that time while they don't deserve it cause they're being carried. For me I'd suggested the idea of having it for a month and a week, with the last week of the series having a ranked xp boost, in a gold's rush type of way for people to grind in that last week and try to reach legendary. But ya that's not what's the topic about, I just thought that maybe ranked should be more rewarding? I mean a frame and an avatar for reaching legendary? Seriously...my idea was to have a special crate for both Br and Mp, where it'd Contain about 1 or 2 epic characters, a bunch of epic skins changes with each series obv , but no rares or below cause come on...and call it the legend's crate you get 2 shots at it if you reach legendary in both Br and Mp and this could beside the avatar and the frame, cause I know some people love these stuff. But I personally think they're not enough, I truly appreciate what the devs are doing with the game, but I don't think it would take much time and effort to add this into the game and giveaway a couple of free epic skins for the f2p community as a way of appreciation. So while the bp players have 4 epic skins the f2p players will get 3 or maybe 4, also if they wanna benefit from this they could re-release some of the skins after the series ends, in the CP store. And I don't think anyone would mind tbh, that way the f2p could have a chance at getting some of these stuff, and the P2P players could just wait and buy these crates once they get released after a while so it'd basically be a win-win situation, and I mean for me I could easily but the bp, and get some cp in the game but I'm a 19 year old that's gotta pay rent, bills, tuition fees, etc. So I have other stuff to take care off, sorry for the long ass text, but I just wanted to see ...
