Just want to talk with you guys

So...my mom took my phone away again, and what I see in the sub right now is “CoD servers are down”. Well that sucks btw, servers are down because of a camouflage change.

- My opinion on the new Color Spectrum KN is.....OK, I guess? But I think they should only paint the cheek rest, barrel, magazine, lower handguard and the scope rail in gold. Not spitting gold on the whole thing.

- Also, few reminders for NOOBS in ranked matches:

+ You CAN shoot an enemy while planting the bomb in SnD, please please please don’t(I mean, NEVER) plant the bomb if you smell something wrong around you.

+ You’re not iFerg or any other Youtubers, so please play the goddamn objective and use the gun that you’re best at. And don’t run mindlessly in the middle of the f+%king map.
+ Please bring a Launcher in at least TWO of your loadouts.
+ NEVER NEVER NEVER throw a Smoke Grenade towards the obj if you don’t have the Gravity Slam/Spike.

+ Never take a gunfight if you know you clearly cannot win that fight.

Also, I’ve heard about a huge conversation about nerfing the Operator Skills. Well, in my opinion, it’s complicated. I agree to nerf them, but please do NOT nerf their power. Nerf them like how you nerf Persistence perk. Can only be used ONCE in every match. For the Grav Spike, you can use it twice. So that they will be a lot more rewarding to use, not just a spamming machine that can outclass every other thing in the game.

I’ve seen a guy who shitposts about the B23R for literally over 2 months. And I think you have the point mate!! We clearly need more secondaries. But in my case, I may choose a Glock 18(or FMG9) or L-CAR 9 if we ever go to the future again, or “the gun was banned in competitive “ KAP-40.

Next up, I’ve calculated the TTK of the new ICR and the GKS.

- For the ICR, I guess I’ve found another gun for you guys if you’re bored of the LK24/KN-44. The new TTK is 288ms, only 1ms slower than the other two. And moreover, it has virtually no recoil. Look like the NV4 from Infini...

Idea for KN44 Color Spectrum.

So, there has been a lit of discussion of the KN44 Cooor spectrum redesign. Some people love it (me) and some hate it and want the old one back. I get it, everybody has preferences. What CoDm can do to fix this is create a thread in the subreddit, pin it and title it something like "KN44 Color Spectrum Exchange" this would be a thread with some basic info similar to what I said. What they could do is have it so you would put down your In Game Name and your UID. Then they can mail you the old KN44 Color spectrum and remove the new one. This way the people who like the new skin can keep it and those who liked the old one can get it back and not have to deal with the new one. They should do this for any gun they redesign IMO. Guys, some big brain needed here.

I'm Master 2 now, which means I can be match-made with Master 1 to 5 right? If I rank up to Master 3, I can have Legendary enemies right? Which means that matches will be harder. The upcoming Week 4 qualifier with the BK57 is coming soon for Garena, so should I rank up to Master 3 so that I can have Legendary teammates/enemies or just stick to Master 2 until after qualifying for Week 4?

How important is having a "correct" sensitivity ratio, as detailed in Hawksnest guide on youtube, in place for your aim to be optimal with practice?

Right now I just had set my sensitivity on the Low preset and then lowered everything proportionally 30% so the hipfire sensitivity was at about 180 for half phone swipe: 49 hip, 84 ads, 70 tactical, 32 sniper scope. Feels comfortable and my aim seems pretty decent, looking at monthly login I started playing about 11 days ago and just reached legendary today so I'm doing alright.

But I have no idea how or why codm had those numbers as the low preset, and Hawksnest is talking about correct ratios and I'm wondering if it's worth basically having to reset learning my sensitivity to set them up like that. I'm just starting to practice sniping a lot and trying to get my tactical and sniper scope flick shots better, wanted to figure out if I'm going to change my sensitivity before I practice too much.

Is it worthwhile to change my sensitivities to a "proper" ratio? Or is it fine to just keep it at the ratio of the Low preset adjusted down to where it felt comfortable.

It seems that Desync, Bullet Reg, or both seems to get worse whenever the game is installing new content, rather than just monthly updates, like today.

I haven’t experienced Bullet Reg not working up until an hour ago. The Desync thankfully hadn’t gotten worse, but it still exists. I was playing earlier today (before the new content and resource auto-installations) and bad Bullet Reg was nonexistent in both MP and BR games. My first game after the auto installation was at around 5:30, and I noticed that most of my shots wouldn’t hit in a MP match. I thought it was on my end such as bad Internet, so I switched to mobile data. The problem still persisted even throughout multiple games. I haven’t tested to see if Bullet Reg isn’t working in BR.

Im suprised that there is no BP leak for the next season

You know the BP always will be leaked 15-7 days before it release like season 8 bp that leaked a week before it revealed. But for season 9 we got nothing beside the new thing on test server, and its not even called a "leak" anymore couse it revealed by the devs themself trough test server, except for those thing that are datamined and that is a leak.

Why is the pdw so hated when it's the cordite that is totally broken?

I can easilly counter someone whos using pdw, but cordite is something I cant really stand why is so powerful. I sometimes use Pdw as my main since I got tired of dying to cordite at ANY range, but I think the real only capable gun to counter it is Qq9. So I just switch from qq9 to pdw sometimes, but at the end I still think cordite is totally broken, I can even agree that pdw is broken too, but cordite is coming first here. The gun has almost no recoil, good damage, fire rate, range, no spread and a lot of ammo, everything a pdw has but even better.

[Dropshots]: Discussion/Thoughts

My main question, is it fair? I honestly believe it falls into a grey area somewhere between right and wrong, not legal or illegal.

Similar to strafing, the dropshot is 100% legal according to the rules and regulations. It’s a skill that can be learned and utilized during gameplay. Unlike simple strafing, the dropshot requires a bit more dexterity and hand eye coordination to do well-That which the vast majority just can’t accomplish.

Now do I posses the skills to effectively execute deopshots? Absolutely...but I don’t. I can’t explain it, it just feels wrong. It reminds me of the Evil Clown S36 drop that broke the game worse than I’ve ever seen. Despite everyone and their mother using the S36, I still chose not too. It didn’t feel right.

This is to all the dumbfucks in this sub including Activision and Tencent and to people like me who bought the KN44 CS.

It's a subjective matter whether you like the new KN44 colour spectrum or not, the fact is that we paid a huge amount for that skin because we liked what we saw. It is fraudulent to completely remake a product already sold to the customer without prior consent. It doesn't matter if it looks more legendary or the older one looks like an epic skin, this needs to be fixed, either we get a refund for that gun or we have an option to get the old skin back. Stop giving your hard earned money to Activision and Tenshit when you know what they are capable of now, they can decide do to the same thing to your other skins once they decide to go full fortnite mode and bring the reskins of the previous camo like a Disney Princess version. They can literally create a ton of content and yet they decide to pull this scumbag move and spit on the face of the people who supported the game and had a major role in bringing the game to where it is now. They shouldn't be allowed to get away with this, enough is enough.

I have to say something about the KN color Spectrum update reaction

Listen I know some people are mad that COD Mobile changed the KN Color Spectrum with out asking if anyone wanted the change. But I’ve way to many people severely over reacting, like is it a dick move yes, but people out here saying it’s somehow fraud or illegal sorry to break it to you but you’re dead wrong. You can say you spent 150$ to get COD points but that doesn’t mean you own it completely, and COD Mobile is still fully within their rights to do what ever they want to the skin. Also as a final point I’m gonna say some people are acting super ungrateful like COD Mobile devs are working hard and next season we’re getting the best update COD Mobile has ever seen and you guys are acting like the devs are money greedy, lazy, and are slowly destroying the game. You can be mad but people are going to far.

The new armor plate system is no good

Hey Activision I know you put the armor plate system on but the system you made is not good because it’s almost impossible to break an armor, but you still kill the enemy super fast, besides the fact that you can’t upgrade vest for example use the armor plate to turn a vest one into a vest two or three. Please change that.

Can one complete the BP if purchased now?

English is a second language to me. Excuse the linguistic errors. Long story short, I'm late to reinstall the game and also tempted to buy the BP with the discount being offered in my region. That said, I've not played the game this season.

If I do buy the BP today, will I be able to grind to level 50 (55) before 8th August? Or should I give up on the idea of grinding the BP?

I love the animated skins and the guns are new to me as well. Tempted yet confused. Please advise.

What are the ways to obtain the QQ9?

The QQ9 seems like a good gun but I have no idea how to get it, I know you can buy it with a skin with money but I don’t really like P2W/ in game purchases that give you an edge over others. Is there a level I need to grind to obtain it or is it a challenge needed to be completed?

Those hosts who spam the start match button

Stop. This is like quitting in ranked or dropping 5000 meters away from your teammates in BR and asking to scan your dogtags.

I got stuck in a room with this guy who I found out later wasn't using dead silence ever either. Every end of match as soon as we hit the screen the new match would start. Not even 1 second of pause. This is all while I'm spamming the cancel button trying to stop it. Finally after an hour I just quit the game. Probably got a quitting ranked match 5 minute penalty or something.

I don't understand the mentality of this kind of person.

What every happened to these two
I personally loved rank protection since it meant for matches where I got real awful team mates I didn’t have to mad or stop playing until the game ended
And in BR it meant that some of my dumb mistakes at the beginning like not having a gun or getting medicine didn’t make me lose points

I’m legendary in both with about 10k points in each but still it’s not fun knowing you lose points for either bad starts or bad teammates ig it has to do with the sunk cost or whatever psychological principles applies

Btw Yes I know it’s dumb to get mad a a game but sometimes you get frustrated

Man I paid around 10k for the firebeaker, battery valentine draw skin and prophet voltage. See this now, the firebreaker carrot thief is there for 560 cp. I feel so scammed. How can you alter a product after the purchase, like the kN-44 and re-release an existing product at a very low price or even for free with minor modifications. Battery valentine is extremely similar to battery blood and skull. Next season we have prophet voltage in monthly collection reward. This is outrageous, I might never buy anything ever again from them. It's just like today you pay 5k for a draw or an exclusive item and tomorrow they release the same items for free or even replace the item you bought with some b.s.( KN-44 color spectrum). How can they do this, isn't there any consumer support? I feel like filing a case to the consumer court. They can't just alter or make our existing purchases irrelevant by modification and re-releases. Then what's the point of buying it exclusively under the limited time offer in the first place?

There was never an exclusivity right in the 3 day of season 2 they released a statement it was on the updates in Discord and Tweeter if you took the time to read the whole list in small letter on the S2 update you would know .

So I had an iPhone 8+ and the game was great to play on it with 3D Touch aim and shoot settings but now I’m on the 11 Pro Max I’m struggling to play. Sometimes the fire button doesn’t shoot unless I’m standing still and sometimes it only fires 1 shot and the ads doesn’t always work either. What controls and setting do you use?

Request to the devs

I love call of duty games and I love CODm but you guys really need to ban hackers from the game.
I’m sure some of them are just better than me or maybe iPad players or even claw players but we can differentiate between those players and hackers.

I feel like nowadays the game is filled with hackers. 2 days ago I played maybe around 10 ranked MP games and won only 1 which never usually happens and thank god that I had already qualified for the championship.

All things aside, you really need to fix the hacker issue in the game. 🙏🏼

BP Plus sale $5

I'm cheap, so I've only purchased 2 crates for $1 each, to see if spending money was worth it. I decided after those 2 crates that it wasn't worth. I've never had an interest in spending on IAP.

However $5 for season 8, which also gives me enough CP for next season, works out to $2.50 for this season and next. Do you all think it's worth it? Yes, I am tier 50+ and Master in Ranked and BR.

Fuck ranked match making.

Does anyone else have this problem? I try to play ranked, I’m elite V I know that not crazy good but still, and I can’t ever win a game. I know one good player can make a difference but Jesus my team is always made up of bots and it’s like every team I play against is all partied up and shit like cmon. If it’s ranked match making why are there bots who can’t even get a kill? Who lag around and die immediately? I know I’m not trash because my k/d almost every game is 1.5+, I average 25+ kills sometimes, and even with all that they can’t give me a team that’s going to play the objective at least? I just got a ranked game of s&d and I carried two round wins and the rest of the rounds were lost because I get like 4 kills and die but the last guy is a god because ofc their whole team is and he wipes my team because, again ofc, they’re bots using snipers and lmgs. I’m not even using a controller. Help someone.

Moving while ads

When I am scoped in I have to move my left thumb by a lot in order to actually start moving. Is there a way to reduce that issue? (I changed the movement icons size and tried changing sprinting sensitivity but nothing helped)
Help would be really appreciated since that causes me many deaths inside the game...

dlq33 nerf?

i was playing some ranked matches practicing my quickscopes, than i realized that it hitmarker much more than usual. i even get hitmarkers even i hit one-shot area.

hitmarkering dlq leaves target about one and half notch of healthbar. when i hit target from long distance(in one shot area), it leaves a very little bit of health and not die, which i feel like it got a range nerf or something.

im not sure it was already there or is it new, but do u agree with dlq range nerf?

a word to people who keep crying about bundles

simply as long as u keep support lucky draws/crates and go spend a mf 150$ on every single lucky draw like dogs , they wont stop re releasing old stuff to bundles , they want to keep u spending ;), so its all in yall hands in the end .. simply as we said 2 months ago the issue was never in bundles its always have been in overpriced lucky draws and yall keep feeding them so enjoy doing that and stop crying as long as yall not planning to stop, they could cancel lucky draws and crates and make it all bundles but they knew sum mf wont stop feeding them huge amount of money so they had to use it non stop , thats how i see it .. just dont complain and ask for new content to bundles while u gambling already on new content like crazy cuz they will never do it that simple

All versions of this game should all be the same, no region should be ahead, no region should get 1 thing and the others not, if bundles cost just over 500 CP on 1 region then it should be that price in ALL regions, if its 1440 CP then it should be that price in ALL regions. NO different prices just cause one region is better off, NO regions should get preferential treatment, all regions should be treated equally and gwt everything at the same time at the same price.

Persistence Perk gives players Cluster, XS1-GOLIATH, VTOL with 10kills and 25 death in domination with some capturing points, these players can't get even Molotov cocktail without persistence.. JUST SAYING

Mission Impossible

Playing a decent amount of BR ranked these days & as of this past weekend my personal best for a ranked br match while getting the W.

So I figured I would try to challenge myself & up the ante.

  1. Achieve a new personal best
  2. Blow up a vehicle and/or achieve a kill via vehicle
  3. Defeat ‘The Butcher’
  4. Win the Match

All in 1 game. I think it’s far-fetched and wishful thinking that I actually accomplish all of this, yet I will keep trying until I do. I never attempted to run a stream, however I will post the video somewhere when I do accomplish this!

On a side note...What is your personal best or feat you are most proud of from one of your matches?

Weird glitch showed "Congrats +10800 CP"

I made my first real-money purchase in the CoDM Store this morning, buying only the $0.99 Special Offer which included 80CP + a crate. However, immediately after confirming my purchase with FaceID, it showed "Congratulations, +10800 CP". It was very confusing given that I definitely only spent $0.99 according to my AppStore purchase history, and my CP balance still shows zero. I have since filed a bug report on the app and also messaged CoDM staff to ask about it.

Have any of you heard or seen something like this before?

I've tried searching the web for similar experiences, but the only thing I could find was a bug that used to allow users to begin a purchase of 10800 CP, then turn on Airplane mode and complete the purchase to avoid being charged while still getting the credits. This was obviously patched quickly by the dev team though, and is not the same thing I experienced. I'm regretting not taking a screenshot (it just happened too fast).

What would be good BR content?

So I have been waiting for season9 to hit like everyone else, and one thing came to my mind in this desperate time of waiting is how cod does not seem to have too much community/player initiated content creating events where BR could have been this huge platform for character crossovers (CODM definitely has a number of cool characters with a variety of stories behind each of them)? Do you guys think those "world record" BR montages are the only genre that suits CODM's battle royale?

Something more needs to be done about people leaving ranked matches. So many times we've lost a match because someone decided to quit and left the whole team hanging. Then we go on to lose a tonne of ranked points. It is so infuriating.

Rant about USELESS teams in Ranked - Domination 🤬

Remember that update a while ago that introduced a new skill-based matchmaking? Well now I consistently get paired with the stupidest fucking team, no common sense specifically in Domination. I'm always rushing for B, my team never follows me, we never group up to just quickly take it, everyone is too scared and does their own fucking thing.

So yes, the new matchmaking for Ranked mode sucks!!!!!

I cannot get to Legendary for the life of me - I am a Master IV currently (used to be Master V but deranked from losing several matches back to back)

If anyone wants a smart team member, my username is "uinstitches" and I'm on Australian servers, if that means anything.

Help with Transferring to New Device

I recently upgraded my phone from iPhone 7 to Huawei P40 Pro, and I tried to reinstall COD Mobile into my new phone. My CODM account is linked to my Facebook account, so with the knowledge that I could just reconnect using it. However, when I did try to do it, it made me try to create a new character with a new username. When I use my old phone, it links to my original account. I need help trying to sort this out.

Never bought a battle pass

I’ve never bought a battle pass but was thinking of buying the premium pass for this season. I just have a couple of questions first.

  1. If I buy the pass now will it still give me 12 levels for free? I’m around level 36 right now.

  2. I was told by a friend that if you complete all 50 levels you’ll earn enough CP to pay for the next pass. So if you buy it once and play enough it will pay for itself for the next season. Can anyone else confirm this?

Cool things you can also add in season 9

In my opininon, i think they should also add the gulag for battle royale and see others 1v1 in it, if they are adding the stuff from the test server. In the fpp mode it would be a nice touch if you could be in first-person when you are gliding, going with the parachute, and when you are in a vehicle. I think it would be a much better experience if they want to add stuff from warzone aswell. What do you guys think?

Grindable Weapon Camo Rarity chart suggestion

Ok, so, here’s the thing.
Grindable Camos in the Camo system should have rarity levels based on how hard the challenge is
Easy - Common
Medium - Uncommon
Hard - Rare
There can be some camos where it can be an epic due to the sheer time you’ll need to spend in order to get the camo
The Completionist camos tho. Their High ranks
Gold and White Gold/Diamond - Epic.
The Damascus NEEDS to be Legendary. Because you’ve just dedicated around a rank season or two just to get the skin. It should also get a special Killfeed and Death Effect that’s pretty much like the Camo.
And If Obsidian gets added make it semi/fully animated (and the kill effect). Plz plz plz plz tell this to your teams u/COD_Mobile_Official

(By @CODMobile_ES) You should optimize the game on Huawei devices, many users (I include myself), we have high-end devices of this brand and there are lag and performance problems, in other games like pubgm we can play in max grafics and very well.

Switching platforms

For context, I play on my i pad but I want to know if I could play on my pc/ if I do, if their would be any changes. I have a few questions, including:

Call of Duty HUD slots?

Hi, I’m a iPad and Phone player in CoD Mobile. As you can see in the ‘Interesting Title’ section, I play on a Phone and Tablet (I don’t want to make this long and tell my life story). And as Tablet and Phone sizes are around 1:3 in ratio for size, my HUD when playing on iPhone is completely different for my 4-finger claw than when I’m playing on iPad. And this causes me to have to keep changing around my controls, resetting it etc. I don’t exactly like it as my controls occasionally is put somewhere else random and when I play I keep accidentally missing my buttons. Hence, while I am happy that Activision/Garena are adding more weapon slots, I also would appreciate some HUD slots at the same time. I hope the devs may stumble upon this and help me out here... maybe as well as a few others out there who play like me. Thank you :)

is is a sugestion and I want there to be a special spot for youre knife and not the secondary weapon or if you dont add a special slot for youre knife then at least add a animation where if you knife somone with a gun you dont pull out a knife but you hit them with the gun. Since if you have a knife with you why cant you pull it out.

Change that Call of Duty Mobile.

Change the armor plate system so that they can be broken, I know it can be broken but it is almost impossible and even then the time to kill is low. Make the new armor plate system more useful, not just a vest repairer because to repair the vest, just change the vest, because the way it is in the beta, this new system, which is extremely promising, is almost useless.

We should be able to shoot through things easier in this game

One thing I’ve noticed that’s been a problem at least for me but I assume many other players is that I would be shooting at someone and they’re behind some small piece of cover (like the metal casing of an exploded car, or standing behind a pole) and even though on my screen it shows that I’m clearly aiming at them, the shots don’t even register. It gets hella annoying especially in clutch situations. Idk though what do you guys think?

I just was wondering if you all would also be happy if they made some sound design similar to Modern Warfare Remastered.

I was thinking about how the update and how it's similar to the new Modern Warfare. I then watched some gameplay (don't have a console or PC) and realized how god damn good the sound was. I'm not saying to, "UpDatE tHe SoUnD, iT's BaD." Just thought it would be cool.

Also I know Mobile games have limits, idk if it's even possible to make really good sound design on mobile games.

Had a few games on tdm and was called a hacker number of times today.

Seriously just because you are not having a good game or just not good. You shouldn't be calling people hackers just because you get beaten badly.

I m sure they would have reported me as a hacker too.

Even when my score wasn't that great I was called a hacker in a pub match. In this example was I fighting against 3 Legendaries and I was MVP with 18/3 kd and opponents MVP had less than 8 kills. The final stray was when I had the annihilater and killed all 5 members of their team.

They kept on spamming the chat calling me a hack.

I m not a good player, I m a 2 thumb player and can do slide, jump, drop shot or shuffle mechanic to win fights.

Dear COD Mobile, I know you have probably had 100s of requests to make a Single Player/Campaign. I get that it would take a long time to develop and test it. But I have a solution, you see there used to be a game on the AppStore called Call Of Duty: Strike Team. And it had a campaign in it which was really fun. It was owned by Activision which Cod Mobile is also. So I was thinking you could maybe remaster it and put it in COD Mobile. My friend has a new Ipad and wants to transfer his account to it. His account is on a Samsung Galaxy S8.
