Hijacked map in ranked multiplayer

Idk if this is just me but I'm pretty sure I remember playing the hijacked map (the one on the yacht) in ranked but it's not available to play now. You can play the map in regular tdm, frontline, kill confirmed, hardpoint and ffa modes it's just not in ranked, has it never been in ranked and I've only just realised or was it removed, because I actually think it's an ok map to play on.

Snipers.

Should the claw players using aim down sight and hipfire to shoot have the same ADS time as thumbs players using the ADS button to shoot? I just find it strange that they nerfed Agile, making sniping for thumbs players (at legendary level) useless, compared to claw payers that can still quickscope using aim down sight and hipfire.

How to learn blank scoping with a sniper

I need help on how to learn and master blank scoping with a sniper. Most of the replies I get when I ask are “line up your crosshair and shoot” but that’s not really helpful. I need some advice on how I can learn it and make it useful in legendary rank. I’ve been using the ADS mode for snipers since season 1 so it’s gonna be tough for me to switch. Any help is appreciated!

Opinions of the Drone in MP

I personally see the MQ27 as a great way to help out a team but I don’t see many people using it in MP or Ranked modes. This is most likely because of the fact that is costs 850 points to bring out. That doesn’t seem like a lot until you see the alternatives to fill in the 850 point slot like the air strike and Goliath which also don’t make the player vulnerable while using it. If we were to be able to make the drone easier to use then it would finally become viable again.

I have three suggestions for a buff to the MQ27:

  1. The cost is dropped by two or three hundred to make it more affordable and not seem like a waste of space and make it more viable for ranked and scrims.

  2. A buff that allows you to control the drone after death. With the current requirement to be outside and away from walls in order to activate it I think you should not loose the drone after you die much like the VTOL Jet.

  3. This buff would grant the ability to use it inside a building. This would allow for safer usage away from danger and won’t put as much pressure on you to quickly fire off your shots as to not die when the spawns flip.

I personally think that the 1st and 3rd buff together would make the drone more viable in MP and Ranked as it would not affect the performance. What I will do is encourage players to use it by eliminating it’s shortcoming and not actually making the drone any more powerful.

"Play Objective" Call out is needed for ranked

Half of the programmed callouts are pointless. For Dom and HP especially "Play Objective" should be an option.

"Everybody can't be a slayer" should be another option

"Stop camping" would be my 3rd choice (I just can't stand snd rounds when you have a batch of people who will make each round go 2 minutes)

Your chances of qualifying (why tanking is a bad idea)

A friend told me he wanted to tank from Legendary to Master to increase his chances of reaching 80 pts, which got me thinking: is de-ranking actually a viable strategy to increase your odds of qualifying in any given round?

We'll assume a 50% win rate for each game, which I feel is pretty representative of most solo ranked players. We'll also assume you don't rank up or down during the course of your 10 games, which can mess up the math, and that each game is independent (the odds will be even better if you find a solid team that keeps playing again with you). Then at each rank, the chances of getting 80 pts are roughly:

Veteran: 8 wins, 5% chance

Elite: 7 wins, 17% chance

Pro: 6 wins, 38% chance

Master: 5 wins, 62% chance

Legendary: 4 wins, 83% chance

So your chances of qualifying can increase by around 20% at each higher rank! Now, let's say a Legendary player fears he or she might run into an organized enemy team or hackers that will just steamroll everyone over. How many of these throwaway games can you have and still break even with Master? Well running into 2 of these enemy teams will still breakeven with the odds of qualifying in Master, and only at 3 will it be easier to qualify at Master instead of Legendary.

Now in my experience these types of super organized teams or hackers are still relatively rare. If they were that prevalent, everyone's win rates would probably drop to around 30-40%, which is definitely not true. You also have crappier teammates in lower rank. In the end it's probably a judgement call, but IMO it's definitely not worth the chances or the effort to derank

Bring back regional offers

This is a controversial topic because North Americans and Europeans would convert the currency of regional offers and see that they cost less for people in certain countries and that felt unfair to them because they didn't understand that you can't just convert currency without understanding the economical context. They didn't understand that people in India, Brazil, Ukraine and other third world countries were getting offers for less dollars but that they had to work the triple or up to five times as much as they had to make the same amount of money.
In the context of Brazil, for example, each dollar is worth FIVE Brazilian reais. Not only is the currency worth much less but products and living costs much more, also salaries are much lower. What an American can make in one day would take a Brazilian over a week to make.

Because of this most people aren't buying anything other than Battle Passes currently, even though the third world is half or more of the playerbase.
I myself bought every single regional offer back in Season 2, but since then haven't bought almost anything in the game, it's simply outrageously expensive. You'd be up to make much more money if you were selling things people can actually afford.
That being said, I don't know if there would be a way to prevent people taking advantage of this by using VPNs.

Is it viable to run Fast Recovery perk (35% increased HP Recovery) and Quickfix (Start health regeneration on kill)?

I'm asking this because i don't really understand the "HP recovery" concept. Does it affect the rate that the HP goes from 1 to 100 (meaning less time to get to full health) or the delay from going to damaged (red screen) to start regenerating HP? If "Fast Recovery" is the second scenario, i don't think it would be viable to use it with "Quickfix" if you are in a 2v1 or killing lots of dudes in matches.

TL;DR: Does anyone know the exact effects of these perks and if it's good using them together?

Joined 12 different MP pub games and EVERY SINGLE ONE had a enemy team of full bots. Wtf CoDM??

From SnD to Kill Confirmed every single match I joined as a solo player had the enemy team completely filled with bots.

So basically if I want to test out a new build I have to test it, for the first time, against real players in ranked??

Is there really such a small player base that you can’t even get 10 fucking people together in a ranked match? I used to be annoyed at only having 6 out of 10 players in pubs being actual humans but this is pathetic.

We shouldn’t have to use ranked as the only way to test builds against actual people. That’s fucking stupid.

When codm first came out I didn’t bother downloading because I thought it would be another shithole like pubg, but after a few months of getting bored I finally downloaded it and was blown away.

the pubgm subreddit complains how tencent greed ruined the game, so I thought the same would be for codm, but it turns out tencent doesn’t actually OWN the game, and I decided to play codm more

after a year of some average mobile FPS experience I saw the season 6 battle pass, and though:” wow goddammit devs u worked so hard on this”, and it was the first thing I ever bought in any video game (other than some tanki online shit from 3 years ago lol).

after that things kept getting better. The season 7 stuff was like awesome, and you could actually tell that the devs spent a lot of time on it.

and when gunsmith was announced I thought that it would be another pubgm guncraft shit kinda thing, but after seeing the screenshots I realized that the devs were probably working triple overtime for free just to give the codm community some fun.

thank you devs because y’all worked like double overtime every day (idk if that’s true, you get the point lol)........ I think imma go buy s8 battle pass 10 times over now

CODM enough with Fire, Melting, Lava, Heat skins, Hot

So to my surprise. Melting point QQ9. Not really surprised. How many fire, lava, heat, melt, etc skins have we seen the past 3 months? Really. It feels like every few days and weekly. An event, bundle, draw, or BP is related to fire, lava, heat, melting theme am I right. Second is the red themed stuff.

BR: Gks vs MSMC vs PDW vs Chicom

What’s the best all around smg in Br?

When I run w/ dlq, I always have a hard time deciding between gks or msmc but I respect the other 2. Nothing has the close range capability like the msmc except the by15 but I hate its range and accuracy/recoil sometimes. The gks is overall nice but it’d be great w/ a higher fire rate and maybe larger magazine. Chicom is hella underrated. PDW is a monster w/ that mag size.

Majority of these CODMobile 'Pro' YouTubers are a big joke. And how the CODMobile championship might change things for good, hear me out.

A month ago I finally decided to let go of PUBGM because of how it was affecting me. Constant frustration of dying to campers, high ping and unbearable lag were few reasons and I decided to switch to CODMobile. As I ranked up and started losing to more experienced players I decided to learn from the pros of cod mobile. Found a very popular but the cliche YouTuber who was over hyping everything, I just couldn't bear watching him. I guess you guys know who I am talking about.

I wondered about the pro scene of this game and searched up 'CODM tournament/scrims' and what I saw made me genuinely sick. Every single of these guys were playing on an iPad and I was like wtf?

Do they realize that iPads and emulators aren't allowed in actual tournaments? Turns out a lot of these pro players know the truth but a majority of the audience doesn't, so they decided keep churning out content from it until inevitably Activision bans iPads from stage 3, which they did.

Believe me, when this championship ends there will be new faces in the scene who play on a phone and are actual 'professionals'. I say this because that's how it turned out in PUBGM. Two years ago there were channels getting millions of views on channels pushing their rank by playing from and iPads. The scenario has changed so much that competitive players are growing more and more popular with a huge active audience.
In the near future expect orgs like Fnatic, C9, TSM and FaZe sponsoring teams and popular players.
If these guys play their cards right, I am expecting guys like Jokesta, Heaven and Tigon to become hugely popular in the near future while the cliche YouTuber who overhypes everything will simply run out of content and will have to either switch to something people will relate to, that is, a phone or will be forced to resort to clickbaiting, crate openings and watch their channel slowly die. Yes i am talking about Ferg.

CoD Mobile Should Change The 'Fast Throw Grenade' Button Ánd Add It To BR. Pls hear me out.

Currently in mp, the fast throw button makes you throw it immediately by pressing down, it would be better if you aim while pressing down the button and throw when you release it. Just like how some other buttons already work in-game.

Also, ideally I'd like to be able to rotate this button in the custom button layout. Because then the 'selection drop down menu' (where you choose which throw-able you throw) can be pointed downwards, since I would ideally want to place that button on the top of my screen. That way I can hold and release it with my index finger and aim with my thumb. Just like how you shoot a weapon with 4 finger claw. (side note: actually I'd like to be able to rotate all buttons that have a drop down menu, so I'm free to place it at the top of the screen, also meds and grenades in br).

I would also like this same fast throw grenade button in BR. I miss it in Br because often I need to react sooo fast! For instance, I need a counter for the defender class which is so op in this meta.. It's a bit unbalanced if you ask me. If you're blinded and the enemy can aim decently, you're basically dead. This new fast throw option would enable me to quickly throw a smoke grenade while blinded to escape in the smoke.

Currently it takes soo much time to switch between throwables and guns and it can result in death and the switching process just isn't really as straight forward as it can be.

I hope you like this idea :) I really think it would make the gameplay more enjoyable, because it's more fast paced (which fits the game), straight forward and helps players get into that flow. And of course, just like in mp, people could still choose the old button style (not fast throw).

What's with the Ak117/ HVK damage nerf?

Next season Ak117/HVK will get damage nerf. Why? No new attachments make damage higher. (I know that the ak117 fires really fast and there are attachments that make you shoot even faster.) I do understand that the ak117 needs a nerf, but in damage? I would said to nerf it's fire rate in my opinion.

Deleted Fb account still linked to my profile

Hey guys! Well i'll save you all some time and get right to it haha. Here's the issue. I used to log in to the game with my fb account, right until the activision account linking was enabled, so i switched to that. Anyways, the fb account remained linked, until i deleted it. I realise that it was on me not unlinking it from fb before scheduling it for deletion. But now said fb account is 100% deleted, and the game still tells me that it is linked. My question is this, is there any way i can unlink it? I have been using and plan to continue using my activision account as my login method, however i would still like to link my new fb into the game, just to have a backup way to log in and possibly use my social avatar in-game.

Teammates leaving during championship matches

If a teammate or an enemy leaves the match, then that match should not be considered in the championship for the people that stayed in the match regardless of who wins or looses. It is not our fault that some guy left the match for whatever reason causing us to loose or win(if the enemy left).I had one match remaining and one match to win. We were winning and then some guy decided to leave, and then we lost. The game didn't even put in another person in the game, causing it to become a 4v5.

Hi all, as I’m sure you all know today was, One Directions, the best band of all times 10 year anniversary. This is a petition for codm to add the band in game. Hell it can even be through crates or lucky draws. They would literally make so much money as everyone is so excited about them getting back together as a band. Consistently keeping K/D 3+ doesn’t increase your average K/D by much. But lose 10-15 games with low K/D (~1.2-1.5) and you see sudden drop in average K/D.

Solstice Awakened documentary/my experience on getting the man o war

It all started with the high rise and juggernaut mission, as someone that didn't want to pass through a hard time instead of playing juggernaut I went to high-rise and I had some good times playing domination and I also the times that I've been though on highrise made me know that the bots always came from the underground part of the map wich with that in mind I always got some easy kills at the start of the round cuz I always got teams that rushed the building instead of the underground and it made me get more kills easily without my team stealing any of them and no matter what side of the map the bots were always coming from the same part and overall it was great in 2 days I got the 500 rations and after that I straight got to the gulag, I never was there before the event made me actually experience gulag for the first time and I seen so much stuff there, on my first matches I got up against a bunch of people picking melee and camping on their own tripmine and that made me mad so I made a meme about it and after that it started the "2v2 phase" the phase that I got allot of 2v2 matches and that part is where i got some mysterious tomahawk skills, I was hitting allot of tomahawk and I din't even played with tomahawk before, just in aotu that I did and I din't had that much "experience with playing with a tomahawk so that was going pretty good for me I felt very great for hitting those shots and after some time it came.... The final round for me to get the 165 petrol, I had 162 petrol and I just needed 3 more to actually complete it, and my last gulag match was with a guy that I will keep anonymous but he was kinda bad or just saying really bad and on the first half I used my QQ9 and destroy him, them he picked launchers for the next round but there was a problem on it, I only had FHJ on all of my classes and them I went "WHAT IM GONNA DO?" them the idea came into mind and the guy had such bad aim them I did take adventage on that and Everytime he was realoding I would run towards him and knife em and I did it ...

I play BR so badly man. I jump slide use movement to dodge the enemies on a non lag server and phone but I still die. I’m using ninja and nothing good comes out of it. We’re now able to open the secret bunker without glitching and when I enter it, there is a big screen that they will require us to repair. Once I’ve repaired it with the screwbolt, they’d tell me that they are outside driving around??? And I should look out for further updates? Recently i have been having too many issues regarding matches. Im not blaming anyone as i use a low-end device so the gameplay was already laggy, but the thing is when i tried to qualify for the championship the first 3 times, I never got proper teammates who know how to play the game. I kept on getting bad teammates while my opponents were all proper players. I also lost my last chance to qualify . On my last match in this last qualifier, I only needed 1 more win to qualify. On the last match, we were 5-5 and to win we needed to reach 6(SnD) There were only 2 people(one guy from my team and one guy from the other team) The other guy got to the bomb and threw a smoke bomb to defuse it. My teammate heard the smoke bomb and instead of killing the guy, he takes out a frag and throws it when the guy defuses the bomb.(btw my teammate had already qualified as he had ak-47 championship). I lost the chance to qualify and my only chance to get cp for free was gone. That was it. I have decided to leave the game and will come back when i have grown up(im 15) so that i can get a better phone and better ingame items

We need rank selection

Dear COD Mobile devs ,
We need rank selection back . Without rank selection ,We get mixed with players who are good at the game mode and who are bad at it .so if a player is good at SnD he would choose SnD with other players who are good at it and it would be fair to play . I was close to legendary . Everytime I have to carry my team but we still lost . Random game mode is fun . But playing with players who are not good at the current game mode but at something else would be really hard to play with . And together with this desync, lag , bugs etc .... I hope you bring back rank selection by season 9 . We gamers will really appreaciate it .

Could we enforce spoiler tags for leaks?

As we’re mostly through the season and stuff, there’s going to be quite a few more leaks. I, as well as other people I’m sure, like to not have it spoiled for the new season’s content.

In this season I knew before the season started exactly what to expect out of the battle pass, and that kinda takes a bit of the fun out of it. I just think it would be cool to have spoiler tags for leaked content.

Sound problem

Hi all,

Is anyone aware of the sound problem on iOS. The sound goes off after playing for a while and when I restart the game it gets fixed but again it doesn’t last long and the sound goes off again after a while. Is this a known issue or is it just me? I think this started after after a recent update .

Unresponsive controls

Buttons get pressed sometimes even not been pressed and sometimes when i aim it get swiped up even i'm not swiping up pretty unusually i never got that in my games i've played for like 9 months already and from a 3 fingers(6 months) to 4 fingers (3 months) legendary rank 7k my phone is okay i got an 710 Snapdragon pretty mid range phone for games and my screen has been cleaned i also use a thumb sleeve

This game is inconsistent in terms of stability.

Hello everyone! I'm a COD player since the World at War and I'm gassed that they released COD: Mobile. It was so fun to play at release and continued until the third season where the game started to crash for some reason. I have a stable internet connection and I'm using a Vivo Y53 quad-core. Not great but it did good for me. I'm not buying a new device anytime soon. Playing with it from season 1-3 was great and I stopped playing from seasons 4-6 because of frequent crashing. I came back and they fixed it on season 7, but now the crashing is back. One factor might be that the game is not stable anymore for old phones or lack of storage device. My device is okay and I kept my phone storage to just 80% including COD mobile. My guess is that they're really doubled down on too many character and gun designs.

I'm hoping for a conversation with this and tell me on what should I do or if something is wrong based on my opinion.

Ban Appeal

Hi, I am playing CODM for about 2 weeks but today when i log in i see a ban message for 10 years without any reason. Why are you doing this to gamers? I am PUBG player but now it is banned in Pakistan so I started playing CODM on gameloop emulator. But that ban without any reason is really annoying. If u do some searches on internet you will find that too many people who even spend money on game also got banned for no reason. How everyone can be a liar? As i got ban on gameloop so i think gameloop is not safe and I installed LDPlayer ..... but my key-mapping doesn't work on LDPlayer... when i contact to LDPlayer support team they replied that "Call of duty mobile cannot run on LDPlayer now. The game start to ban users now."(SS attached).... what is this behaviour.... i think none of the emulators are safe....

Audio glitch during ranked

Hello!

I play CoD Mobile on my iPad Pro (2020), and for the most part it is a great experience. Except every know and then in ranked. For some reason, and with infuriating regularity, the audio completely cuts out and disappears while playing ranked. This is then followed by frequent massive lag spikes. I have to close the app and restart it for audio to come back. Again this only seems to happen during ranked games, which has me quite confused. I also have had zero experiences with lag, despite during this audioless ranked game.

If anyone has a fix or any information as to why this is happening it would be much appreciated.

Grindable Legendary Gun ?!?!?!

I’ve brought this question up before...should there be 1 legendary gun that you can grind for ??? and I don’t mean the easy seasonal challenges I’m talking about an actual grind like 100 headshots or 30 wins something very challenging like that ! and I’m not saying any of the lucky draw legendary weapons should be grindable I mean like a brand new legendary gun that ANYONE can earn I personally think it’s a great idea if they did this just one time but anyways I would love to see y’all opinion SO VOTE please

I like to read and stalk this subreddit a lot and thanks to your stories I got to do something today I have wanted to for awhile. During the final moments of BR the other person jumped into my tank's gunner seat and I immediately turned to the blue yelled "Bye Fellica" (and got shushed by the work at home wife) and rode it off the into the blue jumping out just before I crossed.

Best win in awhile and without you guys I wouldn't have thought of it.

Scope+Shoot Day 2

Context: I have been using the ADS button to snipe since season 1 and I’m trying to quit and use scope+shoot. I am trying to master scope+shoot so I can blank scope effectively in legendary rank. Today is my second day of blank scoping, I am currently using the DLQ and 4 finger claw.

What I have improved at:

  1. My timing- I can shoot almost immediately after I scope in

  2. Hold to ADS- I’m using the hold to aim down sights button so I can immediately unscope after a shot

What is still need to improve at:

  1. Hitting targets that are moving around a lot

  2. Flickshotting

  3. Crosshair placement

  4. Sniping under pressure (ex: enemy is very close to me with a SMG)

  5. Movement (moving after missing a shot)

  6. Consecutive shots

  7. Killing multiple enemies

  8. Not getting demotivated (it’s easy for me to get demotivated when I get a low K/D or miss a lot it shots)

Any tips, feedback, or even encouragement will be helpful! :)

Giving a muted skin for money is nothing but an incomplete work by CODM. What’s up, Quality of the game or greed for making money? Atleast clarify that you’ll add his voice in the future.

I really love the skin and the gun. A complete package. Decided not to buy just because he is muted. Sounds are the most important aspect of the game and it can’t be compromised.
Really disappointed.
Can someone take this message to the developers?

Bot problem

There is a huge player base in the game playing only for bots, they are more than 90% of the total!

I played nearly 10 highrise match for the sparrow quest in every game all fights going on at the down stairs crane side because bots following this path like in 10 game I only seen 1 or 2 people in anywhere else on the map

It goes for all the maps for crossfire thru indoors, nuketown b site sideways, etc.

It isn’t that hard to figure out scripted patterns for those likes to drop a nuke in every single game and there is a couple ways to trigger a bot lobby so far I figured out 2 while searching for dom, tdm, kill confirmed on highrise you either keep quitting till you get in one that triggered by someone else or basicly lose a game the next one will be 100% a bot lobby game won’t allow you to play untill you play with that bots like you couldn’t drop a nuke in your bot lobby or got kills less than you expected just quit and rejoin it still will be a bot lobby

Once these people with over 3kd comes into ranked we all coming here to cry “bad team mates bla bla bla” they know exactly where to sit, aim and wait, they are not getting better with more than 100 nukes so this leads to another problem at the devs side giving them extra boosts like s36, gun balances, movement nerf, mow for this session

Idk how long this will keep going like this but they are the majority right now

They should give them a change to figure out what they need in order to play better we all love, enjoy this game this feels like a strategy just to keep people playing the game but it isn’t a good one

It bothers me that the chat censors other words not just profanity, Like I get it younger kids probably play more on mobile than console so swears and slurs aren’t ok, but “gun” “sniper” “assault” seriously? What the hell, there is literally a voice line that is “SNIPERRRR!!!!!” And it’s literally cod... I’m slaughtering people for fun. It’s not that big a deal just annoying to have random words censored
