Requirements

the main things we want to know from the initial application itself are:

  1. Why do you want the position?
  2. How active are you?
  3. What would you do to help foster the community?
  4. Do you have any experience being a moderator anywhere else?
  5. And what challenges do you foresee if you become a moderator?

Now, it is important to realize that these questions do not have specifically "right" and "wrong" answers. This is just to help us get an initial idea of who you are and why are you applying. The traits we most want to see in a moderator are:

●History of frequent engagement and currently active on the subreddit

●Does not have an excessive history of breaking the Universal Rules or in-game punishments

●Thick-skinned and the ability to detach personal feelings from moderation activities (stay calm and diplomatic in any situation)

So basically, we want you to care about the subreddit be open minded, and mature. If you honestly believe that you would make a good moderator, please send in an application. Don't be too worried about little things. We recognize nobody is perfect and everyone makes mistakes, and that this includes moderators. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes, the important thing we want is someone who is willing to admit and learn from their mistake.

As for if you already meet the standard, this would be decided later. After we receive the applications, the best applications will be selected to come in for interviews so we can get to know you a little more personally. Who is most qualified will be determined after these interviews. Just don't get mad if you are not selected or don't get a reply.

Legendary skins in gunsmith

Can anyone on the new beta confirm if the legendary skins get their own attachments (reskinned to suit the gun)? Also, when you change the barrel and stock do they turn into the default black ones or are they themed too?

We were previously complaining about there being too many Weapon XP cards to use, and the devs add a fuck ton of attachments and an assload of new weapon levels... I think they didn’t just listen to us, they realised how useless extra EXP cards are.

There's too much SnD matches

I heard that the devs are not gonna remove TDM cause "It's a part of Cod" or something but what about SnD?

(I don't want it to be removed but just be less frequent about 2/10 matches. I find that most my randoms just leave at the start of a match or leave at the slightest sign of defeat It's just a bad sign for the entire ranked experience that's all)

God damn its perfect, but whats not perfect is that you can put any kind of scope, ANY, but i think when the game releases, they will have the the scopes that zoom in alot only for snipers n stuff, and the tactical scope for ARs, but if they keep the zoomed in scope in ARs, pistols n stuff, believe me its gonna be a shit show, but everything thing else is just PERFECT, they really outdone themselves, congrats to the CoD Mobile Team

Completely different game play now... (S9 Beta)

Idk about this new update coming... It's soo weird to me, it feels SOO much different.. :( Don't get me wrong, it's pretty cool all the new cac stuff, but it just plays soo weird now, it's like completely different kind of game now it seems..

One huge thing that's bugging me is, as soon as you start shooting, the guns just bounce up vertically soo bad, it's kinda hard to explain, but I just don't like how the actual gameplay has completely changed..

Anyone else feeling like this also?

Intresting concept

So I've been using the gunsmith since the test server release, I'm thinking if anybody of you want i can create and upload my builds on a telegram channel with pros, cons, recoil pattern and style the gun should be played. I know i might get downvoted but i think it would be helpful to a lot of people who just wanna try new build. I will post one ultimate build for each weapon with every stats so that you guys can try if it works for you when the gunsmith release next season or try in the test server thing!

About season 9

Im on ios so i am unable to download the test server.

I dont understand a few things based on what i see on murda and hawks video.

So epic skins & legendary gun skins can be used on other guns too.

Eg zero G can be placed on another gun?

Unpopular opinion

I didn't test the beta, but still sharing my personal opinion based on what I've seen on this subreddit and a few youtubers video.
I actually like the current layout. Ofcourse I also want 10 loadouts which I was long craving for. We can do a few adjustment here and there. But I don't think we really need those tons of attachment creating tons of combination. This will make things complicated. Why do we need hundred different red dots or scopes ar anything? Besides the game should focus on solving its existing shortcomings (desync, ssrver issue, hackers) more. However, again this is just my personal opinion. You are welcome to share your thoughts.

Pure gyroscope aiming on an android phone, not tumbstick aming

So I have a doubt whether its a device side issue or game side issue wit respect to the way my gyroscope aiming is translated into the gaming...feels slow at one point and then feels very fast at one point...my point is its inconsistent so is this how the game is intended to play like use thumbstick aim and gyroscope for recoil control of can you actually be able to use pure gyro aiming...I need to know cause I might be wasting my time building muscle memory for this kind of way of playing...so let me know devs and if any can relate to this issue dm or @ me ill be happy..thanks

(Android) Bluetooth developer options for zero latency on aptX earphones

I've just invested in a good set of aptX bluetooth earphones, however the latency on them between visual and audio when playing COD Mobile is much the same as on a non-aptX headset or earphones.

Does anybody know if there are any specific bluetooth settings or developer options (Android, Samsung Galaxy S10) I should adjust to reduce this latency?

The lag and desync is ruining the game!!

u/CallOfDutyMobile r/CallOfDutyMobile Until now, there was nothing that could ever make me rage quit. Not even a lost ranked match. But, what happened a few minutes ago, made me rage so damn much, that I ended up literally uninstalling the game. I was playing a public match, Frontline in Summit. My ping was fluctuating around 25 to 35, but the game lies. It felt like it was around 200. My character wasn't moving forward, it kept throwing me back. And when I was able to move forward, I wasn't able to kill anyone. I was shooting directly to my opponents face from 5 meters range, but none of my bullets hit them!! I couldn't even kill the bots!! The bots kept headshoting me with the msmc and they can trace your head through walls!! I died everytime I tried to take a fight, even when the opponent was not even looking at me. They just heard my gunshots and turned on me, and I couldn't hit a single bullet cause none of my bullets register. I don't understand where the bullets are going. My wifi is really good and my mobile was the only device connected to it at the time. I cannot express how much I love this game. I have never felt so much for a game before. I want this game to be on top of every other game. But this situation is gonna ruin every potential that this game has. This whole subreddit is full of these complaints and still we are facing these issues. I am sorry to anyone or everyone if I offended you in anyway, but I just wanted to let you guys know what in the actual problem, me, your fellow gamer was facing from the past few days and why I am so done. The season 9 test server looks really promising. The game is gonna have so many new things. But that will all go to waste if the game is so much unplayable.

Fix your anticheat

Codm has a stupid anti cheat. I was playing practise with AI and once the game had finished I was kicked from the lobby. It then said your account has been banned ????. I am still trying to get unbanned however it seems to be impossible. They need to fix their anti chest so their are no more false bans

Hacker Alert: Upvote this So the developers can see this

So on the garena version of cod mobile, there is this player called GHOST who uses an aimbot hack and just no scopes with his arctic. This guy has several accounts and is terrorising us in Legendary ranked, please help to notify the devs as many people have suffered because of him. Would really appreciate the help guys. Anything to ban the hackers ;)

Question about BR matchmaking

Hey so im playing BR for only the fifth match of my cod mobile career. Im rookie 3. Ive been playing TPP sqauds and in my last 2 matches ive been in a squad with three legendaries. And ive been carrying both games.

My question is are they bots or is the matchmaking really that bad? Also is it not like pubg mobile where the highest ranks could dominate lower ranked players because i know im terrible at BRs.

Tip: if you manage goto get into a tank with someone in BR and you ARE NOT the driver, snag a ride for a little, then when the time is right, hop out and throw a nova gas at the tank.

This is good bc you get a free ride, they don’t know you’re there, you can use the machine gun on top of the tank, and you can kill the person with the meta vehicle/weapon in BR.

Kinda a noob move to “camp” in the tank, but the chances of getting in the tank with someone else is slim and it’s a fun move to pull.

Pls reconsider adding Moltov as Lethal

Molotov is really good and it's not really a major issue in spawn based game, but in S&D where you only have one life and the Crypto is available as Tactical, you could rush for A and B and block 2 entry, one with Crypto and one with Molotov, pls, either keep it as a streak, like it is currently, or make it a tactical and only available after 40-50 sec

So if you don't know already the new COD game that is coming out this year is gonna be a reboot of the Black Ops series. Now what is Black Ops series known for? Zombies! So my thinking is this, what better time for CODM to bring back Zombies then to wait until the hype is real for the new COD game and then release an updated version of Zombies!!

BTW it is coming back I was reading a news article that said the reason why they pulled it is because it wasn't up to quality standards for Activision.

If I buy a Battle Pass now, and if I collect enough CP by tiering up, will I be able to purchase next season’s BP with that same CP, and the next season’s, and so on? Also, will I get the rewards of, say, Tier 1, if I am already in Tier 2 while I bought the Battle Pass?

CoDM battle royale is just a test server for PUBGM battle royale!!

Tencent is such an a$$hole company they're intentionally not improving the BR so that they don't lose players of PUBGM....

It's no doubt they're making more money from PUBGM than CODM( Expensive crates/More costly PASS)

JUST SEE THE FACTS,

  1. When Codm BR was introduced with never seen before elements, such as teammate revival,helicopter,rocket launcher etc, Soon after pubgm released PAYLOAD, that too with much better experience and much more optimization...

  2. There are more elements in codm that are added later to PUBGM in a polished and freshly optimized MUCH MORE BETTER version...

The flying of airbourne class for the teamates was too short and boring, so they added a better version of it in PUBGM where u could fckng fly miles !!

The 'drone' of PUBGM was also from CODM, no doubt with a better experience....

Loadouts(totally), Domination(not fully) were also copied from codm...

  1. Some elements of Livik map also are copied from CODM...

We do not know what are more to come, but the point is that they are using CODM br to collect user experience so that they can know what people like and what they don't.. and then they give updates in pubgm accordingly...

Just a few questions,

It's been 8 months since codm was released... And do u find any MAJOR improvement in BR?

Did they improve the graphics rendering of long ranges? Compare other BRs and CODM BRs sniping... Do u really feel CODM BR's long range sniping is as flawless as other games?

Do u really not think they should provide the BO experience in br at least, if not MW?

Do u not feel the classes should be balanced so that more gunfight happen in BR and not some random guy flying in the last zone , some camping with trap master, some guy running around invisible and some dancing around making three clones of himself?

CODM BR is, as of now, totally broing... If u get a squad of ur own u are most likely to win the game.. why? Because the other squads are usually four random guys and not a squad... A very few number of people form up squads to ...

The Devs have one tiny problem

Let me start it off with this. I love CodM and its devs but one problem that's really been sticking out and i have noticed is the lack of discontinuity. Now i know i sound like a brat but hear me out. The Devs released the new season with its features and updates and just leave it there. The game is just slightly changed. And suddenly when the season isn't even 1 week old they announce new features they are gonnna add NEXT season. They completely displaced the hype and now people don't appreciate the current season and this cycle goes on forever and its so annoying. I wish the devs releases the test servers like a week or so before the upcoming season so players enjoy the current one without getting distracted.

Do smoke grenades work?

Am I the only one who’s smoke grenades just don’t affect the enemy team. I’ll have one down at a hard point or something and then i’ll get killed through it. I’ll watch the replay and there is no smoke as well the person shot me as they could easily see me. Is this just me?

Hello, its me again, the Scar is such a good gun, but the only problem with its is the ammon, it really doesn't give you that much ammo, you can shoot 28 with a extended mag, and it can carry up to 112, the devs should imo make the ammo for the Scar without the extended mag 25, and with an extended mag 38 or 35 at least, and the ammo it can carry up to should be atleast 130 or 140, thats what i think it should be n stuff, but all the other things of the Scar-H is great, a very reliable weapon, and very good damage

The bugs in this game is really getting frustrating lol.

I enjoy the content, and love more of the content coming out. I spend a good amount of money on this account because I like the game. When you started bringing eSports, that was enough for me to see the dedication and where the direction was going.

But the fact that I still have to deal a list of bugs that is just outright plain irritating to deal with, makes me not even able to enjoy any of the content that I purchased on here sometimes.

Some of the bugs are not that serious, but combining them altogether to start seeing them pile up is getting mad annoying bro.

  • Spawning in front of enemies.
  • Shooting enemies in sight with registered hit markers even though they disappear into objects and walk back out shooting you as if they had good latency too.
  • The SOUND. Hey the sound may not sound like a big deal, but it is. I want to hear someone’s footsteps, shots, direction, what type of operators are popping off, etc. Why is there STILL a SOUND PROBLEM.
  • Desync, you guys are already showing improvements on that but its still prevalent.

I am definitely sure there were some others. There was a rare one once where my entire customized control layout reset one morning too.

All of this going on during the first eSports event for cod mobile.

Boosted legenedaries

There should be more requirements for earning the legenedary title. Dev's should implement an ID to the player, for example, you should select what role you wanna play at the start of the match (slayer, obj, supporter, anchor) and assess your performance based on that at the end of the match. With additional tasks to achieve legendary title ( for ex positive K/d for TDM for consecutive 10 matches ) or having a certain amount of capturing kills or any task associated with your role that you chose.
I'm asking for this because i solo que most of the time, and i reach legendary pretty fast alone. I found out its easier to rank up at the start of the rank season than late into it because you actually play alongside decent teammates than now, back then I used to be on the top 3 when I win, now Its either to carry hard or you lose.

Is there a MP map that you are absolutely sick and tired of?

I'm currently at Master V and trying to make a push for legendary in ranked, but I am just absolutely sick and tired of playing domination and TDM on Crash. For me it has to be the worst domination map there is on ranked especially if spawning at the C side of the map. People complain about the camping at Crossfire but I find Crash far worse, because at least with Crossfire you can stay to the sides and clear buildings. I really wish they would add Takeoff back to the ranked rotation or even add dom Tunisia to ranked just to spice it up. I however love dom Highrise it is a lot of fun and intense!

The last thing CODM needs to make it the perfect game

Add lobby music packs. My intention for this feature is like the fortnite music packs, but you only need to have played a match in the season that lobby music was in, and you can equip it in the emote tab that we have in game right now. This allows us to enjoy back the amazing themes that the game had (for example S5 and S6 and also perhaps the Halloween theme from last year).

Everytime I comeback from the revival flight in BR some enemies are invisible to me (no, they're not poltergeist) my teammates can see them but I can't. Can anyone help me how to report this?

I tried to restart my game but it's still the same, my teammates keep telling me the location of the enemy but they are invisible to me, I can see their footsteps but not their character. Am I the only one experiencing this bug? How can I report this?

Frontline 2.0

(This isn’t a leak just an idea)

Currently, frontline is just tdm but oh so slightly different. Instead of 40 kills its 50, instead of spawning near your team, you spawn at a designated location with 5 second invincibility, and instead of all the maps, it’s only 7 of them (or 6?).

  1. Instead of 5v5, make it kinda like warfare, and make it 10v10

  2. Instead of only the kinda small maps, make it only the biggest ones (high rise, tunisia, crossfire, raid, takeoff, etc)

  3. instead of a 50 kill limit, make it a 75, or a 100 kill limit

  4. Keep the designated spawn and invincibility, but instead of just boring old 5 seconds no matter what, make it 10 seconds of invincibility, but if you shoot during that ten seconds, it’s gone.

Currently, I hate frontline cause it’s just tdm but only on the worst maps (except for you, nuketown). Doing this would probably increase the popularity of frontline, and it would give us a cool new gamemode

Here are some Suggestions and Ideas to imrpove CODM! I have compiled from the entire community and some of my own! Feel free to suggest anymore ideas and concerns you have. I'll be sending this to the devs through the survey soon!

CODM Ideas/Suggestions:

Things to keep in mind:
-I’m a Garena player so, some of these suggestions may be targeted to Garena

-Game performance and smoothness is a first priority over all these suggestions, so not all has to be implemented

-These are suggestions and ideas I gathered and compiled from the entire community as well as a few of my own

-I have done this because I am passionate about this game, I have poured hundreds of hours and I want to see it succeed and grow to become the best mobile game in everyone’s eyes!

UI

-Add a button to drop weapons without having to suicide or stand over another weapon in MP

-Add a toggle to not drop all attachments when you swap a weapon in BR

-Display all 5 loadouts in the lobby (when playing solo)

-Profile UI shows off top 10 character and gun skins like in a gun gallery (scroll through) and you can display your favourite character with their animation/emote (Player Profile UI idea by u/MINIVV )

-Add an in-game feature to record gameplay and final killcam and save to gallery. 5 most recent screenshots and killcams will be automatically saved in the game in case the player forgets to save to gallery. Also allows you to view any player in 3rd person with 360° camera pan or drone flyover for cinematic or gameplay analysis purposes.

-You should still allow to view the character poster after receiving them and pressing ‘Tap to Close’ by pressing the ‘Share’ button in the loadout character customisation screen. It works for weapons, so it should work for characters too!

-Add single undo button when making custom controls layouts (very annoying when u accidentally move something out of the intended place)

-Fix the issue of the pop-ups everytime we get a new item. It's so annoying especially for people with slight OCD like me.

-Killcam should follow tomahawk and sniping killcams should follow the bullet in slow-mo bullet time.

-Add an ‘Invite All Friends’ Button (with a long cooldown of course)

-Add more graphic settings like being able to...

With the amount of customization coming in next update I can't help think its a major break through but also it can me make or break the game depending on how well it rolls out I.e glitches and bugs and op guns there is a fine line and I hope it remains a enjoyable game to play.....

Help: Sometimes tapping Shoot + ADS + Crouch in a sequence freezes movement

I’m not quite sure if its a bug or if I’m tapping something else (tapping other buttons tho still lets you shoot) but what usually happens is I’m in the middle of a fight and I try to slide and aimfire but it resets my movement stick and stops firing, it happens multiple times that I just switched to auto-ADS. Anybody else experience this? I’m on iOS.

Petition: Please provide a real PC client for us

Gameloop is a poorly optimized buggy mess with no real working settings. Even with a high-end PC it can't go past 60 fps and even hangs and drops FPS constantly. Gameloop emulates Android version 4 for God's sake...

What we need is a direct port of Mobile to PC, everyone knows it's very easy to port Mobile games directly to PC that run on Unity. With real controller support, proper DPI settings and more graphic options. And of course separating mobile from PC users but using the same account for both.

I'm a third-worlder with a low end PC with onboard graphics and this game is my only fun during the lockdown. I've died many times due to gameloop hanging or had to restart the game due to bugs like looking out controls. A proper PC client optimized for low-end PCs would make so many people like me happy. You could market it so easily, "play on your PC while your phone charges", since using your mobile while charging is dangerous.

This is the best MP free shooter right now on the market if your PC can't run Warzone, Activision is missing a great opportunity here. It would print even more money for the company.

Glitching out when hit by vehicle

Why after many seasons is this not fixed. I have teammates thinking they gotta land on me or run through me with a vehicle and then my character is hopping like bunny froofroo. I've been killed while bouncing like an idiot more than enough times for someone to decide it needs to be fixed.
Also as a game developer why in the hell did we make it where helicopters can survive plummeting to the ground? How fake is that crap?
Trying to be more like console means not putting in dumb things and actually fixing the broken ones, duh. Helicopters don't survive mistakes and falls and people don't glitch out when bumped by one.

Slight change in DOM and Hardpoint

So dom and Hardpoint now work like they do in codmw.

In DOM if you are halfway through capture and enemy kills you, your progress won't go away until and unless the enemy team starts capturing. This means long DOM matches.

In Hardpoint the next hardpoint will be locked for 7 seconds before it will be available for capture.

Question about Merc 5

Since Merc 5 was only available through grinding up to legendary in the original beta version of the game back in September of 2019, how come they haven’t offered a chance for normal global players to get the skin normally? I mean, it seems weird that only people in Canada and Australia or those using a VPN could get access to skins like Merc 5. Meanwhile the people who played on or after global launch in the USA and other countries missed the opportunity to get the skin.Not trying to be ignorant so Correct me if I’m wrong, but this is what I know. And it would be nice for that skin to make a reappearance if possible, considering they’ve rereleased other OG skins like ghost stealth, price, Gaz, scarlet kingsnake.

Fuck tencent and their stupid crate system

I thought that Grim Heaper skin was pretty cool, so I checked the crate page. Well, the extra scrappy crate wasn’t on there, but there was only one crate that didn’t have dupe protection, so I figured that the extra scrappy crate had it. Low and behold, I spent 25 bucks (yes, I wanted it that bad), and got a bunch of dupe shit, and didn’t even get the extra scrappy skin. It was just like this with pubg too. Tencent makes great games, but holy shit, whoever handles the crate system is a greedy bastard.
