Explaining the new Battlepass format. Avoiding confusion. F2P players don't lose anything.

Good day people.

So, Im doing this post due to all the battlepass rants I've seen lately. And I thought I'd take the time to explain.

This new battlepass format is the same used in MW2019. There is nothing technically confusing about it, it is simply a fusion (mix) between the payed battlepass and the free battlepass. For the free to play players, the battlepass technically should not even concern us, for the following reason: Most of the free content that was in previous free version of the battlepass has now moved to a seprate section, the monthly login calendar rewards.

And the rewards are the same as in previous passes. You have the same "useless" grenade skins, the knife skin, the BR vehicle skins, parachute skin and BR abilities. The same and exact type of rewards that were in previous battlepasses. As a free to play player, you are not losing loot or rewards, our loot is simply in another place outside of the pass.

The battlepass has a couple of free gear though, like the killstreak and the MP5 (or QQ9). Just like in the MW2019 battlepass system, all new guns are in the battlepass for free.

TL;DR

All the free loot and rewards that were in previous battlepasses for free are now in the monthly calendar. We now have even cooler rewards in the monthly calendar (like a new soldier character). And in the events tab we also get a new Lev Kravchenko and the man-o-war, and at some point the LMG from CoD: Ghosts!

We are getting more loot for 0.00€

Having a lot of fun playing with this gun. Majority of clips are from this seasons Legendary ranked, and some are from Master 5.

My Class:

Quickdraw so I have the fastest ADS time.

Long Barrel so I can still take range fight if needed. This gun doesn't do too well for range.

Extended Mag so I have more bullets. I find it better over the Fast Mag.

Then I use Lightweight or Flak Jacket, with Toughness to counter the flinch, and Dead Silence.

Rest of the loadout can be made upto preference.

Call Of Duty Mobile Battle Royal :

It's amazing i love battle royal especially the first person mode also including new areas you guys put into effect. Here's my only 3 problem from day one ...1. We are not able to lean and fire at all. Which takes away the effectiveness from being able to play tactical against a pushing squad when you're trapped in the forest or pinned behind a rock etc.

  1. We have no clue if the enemies is damaged enough after a barrage of bullets... Please add a broken vest indicator like you have in Warzone.

  2. Can you speed up the time usage when using a adrenaline shot.

Anyone Else Agree ?

Season 7 problems

Is anyone else having problems? The last season was didn't had a lot of bugs but now everytime I try to start a Ranked, it says "Conecction time expired" (or something like that, idk I have the game in spanish) and kicks me out to the menu, this happened more often when the update came out, but It still happens sometimes, and its very annoying, I know probabbly this is going to be fixed in an update but Im not sure if this happens to anyone else
(Sorry if there are some mistakes, my english is not perfect)

Anyone else find it infuriating that you can be top two in 90% of ranked games you play, but your team plays like absolute garbage most of the time? Completely rage inducing to see some idiot with $500 of skins going 2-13 in every second game I play.

Which VPN to use for CODM when I want to play with friends from UK?

I don't know what to do, I've downloaded the VPN but when I connect to it and open up CODM it says something about a network error as I'm connected to the wifi at home.

I tried to turn on the VPN just before I hop into a game with my friends from overseas but when I enter the match my ping stays the same (high 100's).

Do I need to do anything to my iPhones settings for it to work? Someone please help me.

Connectivity Issues (Reconnecting, Rubberbanding... etc)

Hi,

I've been having issues with the game reconnecting and rubberbanding a lot, I don't think I've had a BR game without it happening and it usually happens 10+ times a game. It's got me killed a few times which is super frustrating.

My phone is plenty fast enough and I've ensured my internet is fast enough...

On wifi I get a stable 75mb/s down, 20mb/s up on an uncongested wireless AC, with a ping of 10, jitter of 0 and 0 packet loss.

On 4G I get a stable 40mb/s down, 5mb/s up with a ping of 20, jitter of 2 and 0 packet loss.

I've even tried on a wired connection, using an ethernet to USB C adaptor on my phone but the issues still exist.

I've tried the game on 5 different phones, from a Pixel 2 XL, Pixel 3, Samsung S10+, Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ and also on a OnePlus 8 Pro yet it happens on all of them.

I've tried using the likes of AdGuard, AFWall, PSA to restrict ALL connections EXCEPT the specific in-game connections but it still happens...

Anyone know a solution to fix these reconnection issues?

I was playing squads with my friends and there were 2 tanks after us, all 3 of them died and I was running across an open field while the tank kept shooting at me. I survived 5 direct shots at intervals(used medic to heal) how did I survive while all my teammates died in one shot?

Constant Music in Background

Hello, an hour ago I started my game abd it showed its downloading something ( around 7 mb) i guess.

After that the main screen music changed. But now whenever I play the game, constant music loops during the whole game. I tried to turn off the music from the settings but to no avail. Reducing the volume also has no effect.

Furthemore if I minimize the game and come to my android main screen, the music still plays.

The only way I could stop the music was to totally close the app from the running task lists.

I restarted the app and the problem persisted.

My other friends are not facing this issue.

Anyone else who is facing this or is it only me?

Am I shooting myself in the foot playing global but being in South East Asia?

I average out at about 80-100ms; sometimes I'll get down to 65ms for a moment but rarely. I'll just notice that sometimes I'll quick scope someone, or I'll hit them dead center with an annihilator but they get the kill even though I got the shot off and don't know if the high ms is a factor.

I have a garena account but all my skins, cod points etc are on my global version acct but I don't know if I'm just making things harder for myself playing the global version and was hoping for any input.

Issue with AirPods Pro

Hi all! Just jumped on to COD after playing PUBGM for a while, would like to play this more, however I have an issue that’s been bothering me for a while, at random points during games, my audio cuts out completely, it’s only after taking the AirPods out of my ears and putting them back in that gets them to work.

I initially thought it would have something to do with voice chat, but after turning it off and trying again the issue still persists, I don’t wanna keep having to pull them out my ears over and over again..

If anyone has a similar issue, please let me know how you solved it.

Stuck at 5%

So this issue started happening about an hour ago. So I don't know what happened but I left my mobile alone for some time (in game) and when I came back it was in a match end loading screen, but nothing was loading, so I quit the game. Then after some time I wanted to play again, and well... it got to the "getting version info" and then loaded up to 10% but then it jumped back down (which is normal) and then loaded up to 5%-6% but then stopped loading completely. I have already tried re installing, do you guys have any suggestions?

How tf do spawns work in hard Point

I swear every time my team has the hard point we spawn on the other side of the map
Ex on nuke town we start on the blue house side after the first hardpoint the blue house is the next objective location but all of a sudden we’re spawning in the yellow house location even if my team has captured the freaking objective
How tf does it work this makes me lose matches especially when it’s a tight game

Can't find a Ranked match

From Elite 1 till Pro V, I was able to play with my controller and level up rapidly. I found plenty of lobbies without any delay. Now, I can't find any other ranked match while I play with my controller. Keeps searching and nothing else... This happens every time when I reach higher Ranks. At the start of every season is fine though. I can't find matches easily.
I don't get it as there are millions of players that use external devices... Can I change the server? Any help or tip?

A well known professional codm player from odd named NM-Wensanity has been permanently banned for an unfair and unjust reason. A hacker impersonating his account name was cheating in ranked. This caused people to mass report the wrong account. Later, the hacker copied his name and made a video about it. Tencent please do something about this. Wensanity has waited over a week for support and contacted them multiple times without anything happening

About the tank..

I've played around 20 BR matches since the update and at the beginning I thought the tank was very OP and many more thought so too.. But at this point in time, I feel it's merely just an annoyance, sometimes even a liability (especially in squads). I've noticed most players across the board have got the hang of it (how to fight it, how to avoid it, etc). It's only op when the end-game is at a wide open field but as long as there some buildings, or huge rocks in the area, it can be dealt with pretty easily. I don't chase the tank anymore, instead I focus on countering it. I bring 6 novas, 6 clusters and some smoke and spare rockets incase some dude with a launcher gets killed and I can hotswap my DMR just to shoot the tank (imo, Sacrificing secondary for a launcher is not worth it if you rely it.. but if you're the type of player who really only uses one type of gun, bringing a launcher as secondary is good, can't go wrong). Oh, I'm speaking on a Solo or Solo Vs Duo/Squad perspective; things will change in Duos or Squads as one or more team member can act as dedicated saboteur.. However, I do feel that the tank should be dropped slightly earlier, I believe they come with the fourth supply planes (3 supply drops and then the tanks), I wish they come, one supply drop earlier to avoid an annoying, and theoretical, lopsided end-game should it land on open fields.. How do you feel? Agree with me or disagree?

The current state of Ranked

Ranked has become the new pubs. Due to the prolonged ranked seasons, the point inflation at Pro and even Master, literally anyone can attain a high rank with little skill or gamesense. Not to sound like a dick, but ranked is a competitive mode. Reaching high ranks should feel like a reward you get due to your skill and gamesense, but with last season and the beginning of this one we see people who play like it’s their first game of CODM ever at Master-Legendary.

And the thing is, if you solo queue you can’t avoid such teammates. Literally, just went through ten games where I got matched with the same teammates, going 0-15 in TDM, double negative and no caps in DOM, and leaving me to Ace every round in S&D. To avoid inept teammates or enemies that aren’t in your skill range, there are a few things CODM devs could implement:

  1. a new form of SBMM should be prioritized over the current point system we have.

  2. decrease the amount of points earned, ie no earning an absurd 147 points just for picking your nose all game in Pro tier.

3)tiers after Legendary. Most people are able to hit 8-10k now, and new tiers would put them into people at their range. As of right now, someone at 15,000 ranked points can queue up with someone barely scraping by Master IV or V.

  1. A better report system for bad teammates. I’m not saying a ban should be implemented, but in other games there are report options for people who feed the enemy, and they work. Anybody who constantly rushes the same spot and goes 1-13 should be treated as a griefer and if I report them they shouldn’t be on my team for any further matches. As previously stated, I’ve been getting the same randoms on my team out of thousands of possible users.

Furthermore, we as a community should stop making excuses for such people. We all have that one bad game yes, but when will that not be used to justify a duodecuple (tuple of 12) negative teammate? If anything that’s a sign of consistent poor play, and we shouldn’t be hand holding and saying it’s not their fault whe...

I have around 70k credit and there is nothing I want from the store. Last item picked up was the kn44 viper.

I don't want the pdw, not fan of the type 25 as I have the geo version. Jade msmc is junk as I hate that gun. Jade M4 is no use as I have already 3 or 4 epic M4s.

Battle Pass theme Ideas. Comment yours below.

Recently we've been getting a lot of skins in the battle pass that are just reskins of characters and guns, so I came up with a new bp idea. A Game-Centered Battle Pass based on characters and weapons from Black Ops 2. The main character skins unlocked will be Harper and Raul Menendez, that's a big change compared to reskined Ghosts we've been getting the past 2 seasons. It's the weapons that change the BP all together. 5 new weapons, both grindable, and obtainable through Epic BP exclusive skins, the MTAR Assault Rifle, the M8a1 Burst rifle, the Skorpion Evo SMG, Ballista Sniper and DSR-50 Sniper. And in the BP, they're unlockable with the Weaponized 115 camo.

Where are choppers & vehicles on old locations in BR ?

i.e. dock no longer has choppers, neither at Estate nor at Nuclear Plant, when I jumped at Countdown, there is only 1 chopper instead of 3

You promised to show all choppers location in this update but unfortunately there is not. I understand that you want players to jump to new locations thus incline more resources to new location ?

Hackers

I'm really impressed (in the bad way) in the amount of hackers there are in this season. All I see in Reddit and other social medias are people reporting these fucking son of a bitches that are ruining the game for everyone. Lucky me that I've never played against a hacker, but I can feel the rage of others and it's just disgusting. I hope someday we can all have a good time playing with people with real talent and no fucking motherfuckers like Devilish or someone else.

The new update.

I really appreciate all the good things that this update has but the optimisation of this game has reduced alot and there are huge ping spikes and differences , server desync is a real issue. Players are eating a whole mag to die and because of this some of my friends have already quit this game.

I hope the developers patch this issue asap , I like playing this game and it's an escape for me but due to this new update it has all gone to waste.

Are the community managers going to do anything for the stage 2 people who can’t get teams?

I been PMing people and tried spamming on discord for a little while. I even have stage 2 friends that can’t find a team.

I am 4.10kd with legendary from last season. Luv 123.

So far it just seems like cream of the top nit picking. The Discord chat for finding a team is not really great either, but since cod doesn’t have friendly community support I wouldn’t be able to create a app to make things easier and convenient for the community.

Well, I was completing the challenges so I finish one and I changed my class to complete with other weapon When I die and I spawn. I saw people through walls in red color like the scorestreak from BO3. I don't know if was a bug or not.

COD Mobile Voice Chat Not Working

Call of duty mobile in game voice chat not working, neither for BR nor MP. Sometimes I can't hear my teammates, other times they can't hear me or it just randomly starts and stops working in a game. Mostly I can chat with one or two teammates while the other/s can't be connected to.

A bit of a rant from a legendary tier player from season 1 to the current season.

Okay to start this lil rant, I’m a legendary tier player since the game came out from season1 till now. There’s multiple videos on YouTube such as Fergs and Godzlys where you can see me playing with and against them.

What the hell happened with this game? I remember in season1-3 it was genuinely hard to even get to master1, I remember sweating, shedding blood sweat and tears to get legendary, everyone was full-on trying their hardest, in voice chat with random players and having fun while also exhibiting the highest level of play.

Right now this game has become a trash can of players that play like bots aka should be MUCH lower than what they are, I genuinely don’t understand how could someone get to master while playing like a bot, I literally just had a kid in my team who was born in 2010... in master1.... the kid is 10 years old... he was playing man-o-war with silencer fast mag, foregrip and acog like cmon, how are monkeys getting into the “high ranks” what is this. (I’m pretty sure it was an actual little kid because of his profile picture and skill)

I literally deleted the game in season5 after getting legendary, got back into season6 6 days before the season ended, bought the pass, and got to legendary with 10k points with a disturbingly high win rate of around 90%, what the fuck???

I’m not a prodigy or anything but wtf is this, people in legendary playing as if they had no hands, gaining 70-120 points per win and losing 20-40 WHAT??? I remember gaining 20-30 points in master3 in season1 and losing 40-50 points

What the hell happened to this game????

Character noises bug

Please please fix whatever is causing character to scream as if hurt or in pain at random throughout the entire battle royale match. Don’t know if anybody else has been experiencing this since the update but it is extremely annoying and distracting to me. While in mid game he just screams/moans as if in pain randomly throughout the match

How far can you turn while ADSing sensitivity

Im curious how far people turn or can turn when ADSing. Curious on average sensitivity people use. Me I never liked Hawksnests calculator. For me and my device it was always to low. Now I have standard where I turn 180 degrees which is perfect but my ADS sensitivity I turn about 100 degrees give or take. Debating going higher for fast ADS flicks on fixed speed.

M4 new TTK .364

Just thought I would share new TTK based on the new fire rate of 659. This is the 0- whatever range. Assuming nothing changed from the test server to actual global release. Not much of a buff in my eyes since they slightly nerfed it's range and recoil. I still see it alot but again TTK is a perfect scenario with zero shots missing and all shots registering. My calculations could be off but I don't think so.

Sensitivity settings

I'm really trying to get better and I'm hoping to get some suggestions on how to get the right sensitivity settings. Is the fixed speed way that Hawksnest talks about the best? Will all Old Crate Weapons be Rereleased as Bundles?

Another question to the devs, but feel free to answer if you know

I was wondering if all the purple weapons in crates will be rereleased in bundles? Or will it only be the weapons in crates that were released when some people had bundles, and some people had crates (maybe to make it fair?)

I feel like it's kinda unfair to those who spent large amounts of CP to get "rarer" weapons; if all crate weapons will be rereleased as bundles (cheaper and guaranteed), what's the point of crates?

What guns do the general community think to be the best guns for ranked?

I’ve been screwing around with the different guns in the BP to see how they “feel,” and I’ve noticed interesting things.

My loadouts right now use these are primaries, as follows:

QQ9 - this gun feels absurd. It has a clip size that can kill 4 people consecutively, has a fire rate that makes other SMG’s shudder, and doesn’t fall off in higher ranges than might he expected

HBRa3 - honestly, I don't love it. I'm able to shred through teams easily, and seems to be good on paper, but I can't get past the downsides of dropoff at range. I often seem to switch ti another gun, and only use it in S&D, where for some reason it manages to shine

LK-24 - this gun just feels good. seems to have a good TTK, accurate and low recoil at all ranges with next to no damage dropoff. I feel like the gun has been slept on, but have seen more videos by Godzly and Hawksnest on why it's good, so I assume there may be more of a support base for it than I assume.

M4 - I farmed for the backscratcher skin, and decided to try it out, and was shocked at the performance. after the buff this season, it has a noticeably faster TTK, still a zero-recoil monster with or without grip, and seems to be versatile at all ranges. I may get hate for this, but I would compare the role it plays to the KN-44

Artic-50 - Just my favorite sniper. I don't see it as necessarily superior to the DLQ33, it's just my favorite. It has (with good aim) consistent one-shot ability, good fire rate, and a perceivably faster pullout time compared to all save the Outlaw.

These are simply the guns I use, I don't claim that any of them are the best guns for ranked, for pubs, etc. For context, I am Master 3 as of today, and have been primarily using the loadouts above in ranked. What are the general opinions of the community on the relative ranked gun tier list this season?

Game crashing unexpectedly

Hi everyone. Today cod mobile began crashing randomly for no reason. The device I'm using is a pixel 3. It occurs in game, bot matches, or just staying in the main menu. I've tried rebooting my phone, uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing cache and data, and installing via third party APK and the issue still persisted. Is there any way to fix this as well as is anybody else facing the same issue as I am? Would appreciate any help possible.

Honestly, I don't know where to start. Ranked is so much fun now. It used to feel like a chore, and I just wanted to get to master one and stop. Now, it's fun to play, the matchmaking is much better, and the points system is SOOO much better. The seasonal events are awesome. The bundles are great, and you guys should really continue updating it. Overall, I think that this is the best season yet. Thank you so much!

Weapon Reload System

In this game reload system was annoying, cus we need to watch the whole animation to finish reload, while in other COD titles we just need to wait till the magazine was inserted then we can cancel the animation and the weapon already loaded
And also add that empty mag reload animation

Here's a great idea

Okay so i am SURE that everyone here know about war zone and it's respawn system (gulag), so i thought that since they made the map why don't they just replace the current respawn system and make it similar to that or war zone,instead of picking up dog tags you can just spawn at the gulag and fight your way back to the Battlefield ,i really do think this idea would help grow codm even more since it hasn't been done before in a mobile battle royale, so what do you think ? Should we start a hashtag and flood their costumer support with this idea?

masking more bugs with glorified updates

its baffling how bad this game gets with each update. now it locks up at least 2 or 3 times each tim ei try to play. just locked up mid search and destroy (i think b/c i switched on the microphone. that seems to kill it in lobbies now too) Oh and now you cant go prone while reloading sometimes? i guess that had to be added to be as annoying as prone lock at completely random times right? not just places you dont fit, but places you do fit you get prone locked. you want more money for bundles and crates and gambling draws? right ok lol There are some matches where you get instakilled and other games where its more of a gun fight. must be fun altering the physics. you know whats cool though? new skins. lol here gives us money, we wont fix any bugs but you'll get new skins for guns and characters with giant beaks. Audio never works right. voice chat is a joke. I just played a ranked match, I got killed by an enemy kill streak before the sound and voice said incoming. :D

Old skins

Can the developers please for the love of God stop releasing old skins that are rare to see. You're destroying the rarity of skins.

The Terrance Books one for example, I was never able to get it from the crates which I was fine with because it meant that other people have skins that I don't have and it's always nice to randomly see people that have super rare ones. If everyone's able to get all the skins eventually then why bother trying to get rare skins?

Issues logging in on IPad

When i try logging in via Call of Duty on my IPad, the popup goes up, and i write the account details in the boxes and press login. The popup just turns black, and at the top it says ”Account Registration Complete” but the popup doesn’t close down, and when i press ”Close” the popup closes but an ingame text pops up that says ”Authorization error (2,-1)” Does anyone know what’s wrong and how to fix it?

RUS Dustkicker

i got the dustkicker last season for a very cheap price (the garena way) around 200cp. Ive always used rus ever since i started and even grinded for the cyberspace one (garena way again). For some reason, the dustkicker feels heavy? Bulky? Iron sights is a must for rus but damn there is something with how the muzzle flash blends with the overall design when you ads which is kinda problematic when taking mid range fights. Im personally having success with the barricade skin now which feels like how rus should feel. Currently, my dustkicker feels more like a collectible in inventory. Should i give it another go? Maybe put some red dot? Feels bad that i cant flaunt it ingame to justify my purchase lol haha. Anyway, just sharing my thoughts

Tank adjustment suggestion

Suggestions for BR tank:

  • Drop 4 instead of 2
  • Less SMG and FHJ damage, increase cannon damage (tank to tank fight)
  • Add anti tank vehicles (20mm Flak vehicles)
  • Make some obstacles destructable by tanks (like streetlights, small trees etc.)

Game crashed during rank

Seriously, the game has been lagging so bad lately this season, it has never happened! The screen was loading for the rank match and the app decided to crash unexpectedly twice! I tried reconnecting but then it gave me the punishment of loosing 50xp due to the fact that “i left” when this was the game’s fault! Am i the only one who is experiencing crashing of the game??

Is there STILL no fix for the authorization error for ipad players? It’s been nearing a week now, and there has hardly been any update on it whatsoever, beyond a ‘we are aware of it’. It’s physically impossible to play, to the point I just won’t get the battlepass because I don’t have enough time in my life to finish it with a fraction of the time. Can there please be any sort of transparency about this?

I'm getting slaughtered in Ranked

Seems every match I'm playing against someone who's getting 35-40 kills and nobody on my team breaking 15 kills. Matches are so lopsided like 150-50 and so on. I'm at Pro 4 and it's showing like 94%. Given its not Legendary but who wants to play for an hour at a time and just lose every match. I try 4-5 stacks or solo and still seems the same. Pubs aren't any fun at all and I feel playing pubs just reduces my skills. I'm not a 8 hour a day player so I'm never gonna be a ranked nuke guy on the device I have. It just isn't a $800+ device. Mine maxes on high frame rate so I don't have very high and assuming I'm not hitting 60+FPS like the iPad guys are.

So what do you do to have fun on the game when ranked is a blowout and pubs are just shit on a stick

Best way to record the gameplay?

I own a midrange phone. My options are to record with the in-built screen recorder of my phone, which is pretty decent. Or I can use screen mirroring to my pc to record via obs. What do you recommend? I usually play for an hour at a time. Also, is there any possibility to get banned for this?

COD Mobile: Very buggy after Season 7 update!

The game has numerous problems, but the ones that stick out the most and are generally really annoying when they happen (and they happen a lot) are:

-Bugged MP5 (QQ9) sound that makes it completely silent
-Summit map sound glitch where the whole game loses sound

These are just some of the very annoying issues that are happening in the game and we all seriously hope they get fixed quickly because Summit on ranked has become extremely infuriating to the point of having to exit out of the app to re-enter again midgame. Please fix as soon as possible, not until Season 8 because that would be comedic programming speed!

Matchmaking is still broken.

I've come here to whine about matchmaking in CoD Mobile. It's been days now, I still haven't got out of Pro V because of the random Legendary players CoD throws at my face. You might be thinking "Why not just git gud?", well yeah, that's why I'm playing Ranked. But in a Random group of Pro players, one Legendary in the enemy team could change all of that. It's like teaching a child to walk but Usain Bolt kicking the child every time it gets up. I know they fixed matchmaking in this season, but this is not a good solution. Now hold your thumbs, don't downvote just yet because I'm complaining too much. All I'm saying is, is it too much to ask for a game with enemies of the same rank? When I play a Ranked Game at Pro V, I expect enemies who are also Pro V, not a top player on the Leaderboards. So yeah, downvote all you want, I'm just happy I got that out of my system. Let's hope I can break my 15-lose streak today.

Ever since the S7 update. The bots in Pubs have reached a while another level. They only hit headshots and that too mostly through hip fire. Tbh it has become way too OP and I know I'm gonna get hate for dating this but please nerf the bots. Yes even I can't believe I'm saying this.
