I figured out how to get ads to work on iOS in order to get the free lucky draw

Like many others my ad viewing wasn’t watching after the update. I tried just resetting my as identifier but that wasn’t enough to enable them in game. Then I figured this out, which I’ve been able to replicate numerous times.

To enable ads in iOS:

1.) force close CoD
2.) go to settings -> privacy -> shut off limit ad tracking and THEN reset advertising identifier
3.) reload CoD

You should then be able to watch ads in game for spins. You MUST leave the limit switch off until you’re done watching your 10 ads for the day or it will disable it again

New BR Map request

You guys did great with the latest update! However, I do want to ask for a new location I have in mind at some point. I noticed that there is a big chunk of desert near Practice Range where the only thing there is are Turbines. Why not gouge a hole out of the ground there and put the Zombies Map Buried in the underground? If we never get Zombies back in this game, I at LEAST think it would be cool to have Zombies maps as BR locations. What do you guys think?

Need help

I’ve been having this connection problem for the past month now where it keeps showing the ‘waiting’ and ‘connecting to server’ loading icon again and again after some time. I know it isn’t a fault on my end because every other game I have (mobile and PC) runs just fine. I’ve tried restarting my ipad and reinstalling the game but it doesn’t work. If anyone else is also having any solution, please share because I cannot keep waiting for 3-5 minutes just to choose my gamemode, loadout,etc. I’ve been playing this game since its official release man, I just wanna play like before.

BR Vest feels nerfed

I haven't played a ton for 100% results but using LVL 2 vests I've been melted from behind without a chance to react or see who shot me or anything 2-3X straight. Type 25 once, Man O War once. Almost always I would have time to react and at least see who shot me. I believe I was at 150 HP on all 3 scenarios. It almost feels like not wearing a Vest in all honesty. Just for the sake of a speed to death comparison.

My Update Review

Battlepass thoughts coming later.
The update hit and I have to say, it's an awesome update, probs the best so far in terms of mechanics.

What I like:

Gun balancing seems alot more fair and guns seem more stable, when without grip. Type 25 which is my favorite gun in this game feels amazing, even without grip.

The new map is pretty rad.

The new Free Lucky Draw in the Ad menu is really nice and feels more rewarding to watch ads. Good idea.

The new firing range scratches an itch we've all had since launch. It's a great addition.
The new challanges and log in rewards are really good to.

More guns in BR.

My neutral feelings:

The credit and CP store. Alot of items were removed. Now they update the credit store every month and new stuff is coming. Just wish the epics could have at least stayed, only one today is the m21 until update.

The CP store had almost all items removed, mahne we'll see an update?

What I don't like:

My biggest peeve in this update is the changes to the friend system. It's almost pointless now because any player, even non friends and people in previous can send invites. Sure you can ignore for 5 minutes, but people not on your friends list shouldnt be allowed to send invites. That's the whole point of a friends list.

Auto Aim bug while Enemy using Smoke bomb

Even if enemy is visible as clear as day after he used it, Auto aim doesn't shoot when he is near smoke.

Also Auto aim dont shoot while proning, crouching, sometimes even standing from cliff or building even if are at edge of things. i fell from building top and lost few matches..

Decided to go for custom layout now.

To people who think tank Is op, somes counters.

  1. Use explosives, war machines grenades, clusters, fhj and smrs.

  2. The tank takes long to turn, and it can't also turn 360°, use this to your advantage and bait the enemy into taking a shot.

  3. tanks may have a lmg on top, but while the enemy is outside, they're exposed and can be shot, you're faster and more agile, kill them.

  4. while most weapons are weak against tanks, Man O war absoulutely destroys tanks.

  5. Tanks are useless at close range because the barrel can't aim down and neither can the turret.

This is for everyone who complains about tanks and doesn't bother learning counters.

BK57 holding position

Am I the only one who finds it weird that the new holding position of the BK57 in the loadout is like that of an lmg and looks absolutely ridiculous as it's an ar and white smaller than any lmg. I know sounds petty but trust me it looks weird holding the BK57 that way. Why did Activision make this change, they should reverse it ASAP.

Unpopular Opinion: The Nerf on the war machine and the other operator skills are uncalled except gravity spikes.

I know every incel and gatekeeping warriors are gonna downvote me to oblivion. But this is how I feel about it. How is it possible now to clear points without risking to killing yourself with your own war machine now? There is no other better op skill of point clearing without risking yourself and your own teammates maybe the Sparrow and Purifier or the HIVE may fill up the role now but it’s unlikely in my opinion.

The devs might at this point nerf everything.

How to use external mic connected to audio interface on iPhone to work in game voice chat

Hi everyone! I hope someone could help me get my external mic to work on my iPhone while playing CODM. My headphone works in game but whenever I turn on the mic icon during the match the sound from my headphones defaults to my phone’s speakers and forcing me to use then phone’s mic as well.

Signal chain:
My external mic (SM57) and headphones is connected to my audio interface (Focusrite 6i6) connected to my iPhone XS Max.

1.Bugs:when enemy hit u with vehicles , enemy teleported when he lag , when u knocked down someone and he left the game u dont get ur kill or looting box , fps drop when i have unstable network like that (80ms dropped in 110 sometimes )

Dear CODM Devs.

Thanks for the amazing update. I am having really fun with the new tanks and blowing people up. I have one problem tho. The tanks are wayyy to op. Now I don’t mean to say that you should nerf tanks. I am saying that it should be harder to get tanks. People can just drop down on the tank and click the drive button. Instead it should take some time like 1 mins to capture and get in a tank. Like you have to capture the tanks while people try to take it away from you. This would lead to more fun and more gun fights as many people would be trying to get the tank.

Sound Randomly Shuts Off in Multiplayer (iOS)

I've seen this posted on a couple of other threads, but I just ran into a potentially new situation that I wanted to document in case COD Mobile browses Reddit for Bug feedback.

The base issue is that sound cuts out in the middle of a multiplayer game and there's no way to turn the sound back on without closing out of the app completely and reloading the matchmaking game. I have an iPhone (so I tagged this as iOS), but this might also be an issue for other types of phones.

Additional findings:

  • When this happens, it is almost always right after dying. Either transitioning to the death recap screen, or more commonly, right after respawning. I almost always double tap to get into the game faster, so this might also be a factor.
  • I was on a phone call today when I hit this bug, and I could no longer hear anyone talking on my phone call. *I now believe this issue is related to completely shutting off the sound for the entire phone, not just the application.* This would explain why you can't simply toggle the on/off switch for sound in order to get the sound working again.
  • As stated above, completely closing the app and reopening the app restarts the sound. I think the key to turning sound back on might be linked to starting something (i.e. new process) that should be playing sound.
    • If I run into this again, I'm going to try playing sound from another app on my phone to see if this resolves the issue.
  • The sound sometimes comes back on in the after-game summary if you toggle the on/off switch for sound (usually on one of the EXP update screens). I don't know much about the game files, but I'm wondering if this kicks off a new process with sound that will "jump start" the phone into turning the sound back on.

If anyone has run into this on other devices or has good ways to resolve this on iOS, please post below! Sound is a huge part of this game, so not being able to hear anything (or being forced to restart your phone) can put you and your team at a huge disadvantage for the match. Especially in ra...

Free Name Change?

In the wake of Activision’s new efforts to combat Racist and Offensive names, there should be a free name change for players rather than outright banning them. It’s Activisions fault for allowing these players to even pick some of these names in the first place so, I think it’s only fair, and is the right thing to do. Especially when most of these names could’ve been easily prevented, and the bypasses on some words are ridiculous as well.

(Accounts with Slurs should be banned)

I think it’s fair to give players like (pussysmasher63) a second chance :)

To all iPad players

Just bought an iPad, do you guys have any advice on how to master six finger claw? Been two thumbs player for over half a year, so it's so hard to get a hang of it. Especially now since I'm aiming with a different finger [index] then I shoot [thumb]. Feels sooooo weird. I'd appreciate every advice: hud, settings, how to practice it, I mean in every matter. I'm new in the tablets world, never had it before.

PS I started to use the fixed fire button because my old habit of aiming with my thumb was interfering with my index finger aim.

Hello, I re-downloaded cod after many months today. I had to login through guest as it says my apple account is already linked to an ID although I earlier linked to gamecenter. So when i try to login via apple id it takes me to new character creation screen.

I have an email verified COD account but when I try to link to it it says link unsuccessful.

As many members of the CODM Community have already pointed out, the matchmaking is Experience Based (EBMM). This is why 50% of the time you are pitted against people with less skill than you or bots and you dominate the match, and in another 50% you are pitted with die-hard pros, who use clawing, and your team are either boys or novice players.

WE MUST RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT THIS ISSUE!
WE MUST MAKE THE GAME 100% FAIR FOR ALL!

I used to play CODM non-stop at S1 (reached Tier 100 Battle Pass as a F2P player). After that I stopped primarily because the matchmaking was outright rigged, and the cheapishly designed UI (eg last season's Snipe Rifile). I only started playing again due to the fact that there is no alternative that close to a proper COD. Unfortunately many problems still persist (eg the terrible desync).

We must make a fuss about it. Send tons of emails and support tickets demanding to get Skill Based Match Making (SBMM). Only of we fill them we complaints we might make the difference. The community is strong! It just needs tos atrt acting to get things in motion!!!

Guess codm doa on ipad

Can't find a fix at all, which is rare so I am assuming the game just won't let ipad users log in at the moment. Lots of people with this issue but haven't found a single word on a fix or if it's being worked on. I was able to play it last night until I logged out and tried to log in my other account, now I can't log either account in. My android phone is fine but it sucks playing with reading glasses to see. Would be really swell if there was an official statement on this.

So, Tencent, why the hell does the recent updates on your games drive ping up more and more?

For the longest time I had ~60ms in both PUBG Mobile and CoD Mobile

In the last couple updates for PUBGM, that slowly became between 100ms-120ms over time with each update

CoDM was still 60

Now here we are with another update, and my ping in CoDM is now inching up just like PUBGM. Right now after the update it's 80ms-100ms instead of the usual 60ms

Now I know I'm not crazy.

Both were fine

PUBGM updated

PUBGM ping got worse

PUBGM updated

PUBGM ping got even worse

CoDM is fine

CoDM updated

CoDM ping got worse

No other conditions changed. It's like that on WiFi, it's like that on Mobile Data. At home, at work. Good signal, bad signal. The only variable that seemed to change with the ping is the updates. Everything was fine everywhere and now nothing is fine anywhere.

I'm not the only one seeing this right?

What the hell is going on behind the scenes, Tencent?

The whole second between action and reaction is making your games borderline unplayable.

It was most notable during One Shot One Kill. I'd shoot at someone, get ready to shoot again, then they drop before I pull the trigger the second time and it says "+ Normal Kill".

Not cool, Tencent.

And while we're at it, why do you have such a hard time with distance volume?

Like the Angry Birds screeching during that event in PUBG, or the escavate chests in the current PUBG event, and now one of the characters in CoDM, no matter how far away they die, they scream in your ear.

Come on, you rack in billions from us and you can't fix the most obvious and common bugs? Do you even playtest before pushing updates?

Difficulty Logging In on New Season, Please Help

As happens with every new season in CODM, I am logged out of my account after updating. Normally this just means logging back in, and that is that, but today every time I login, I am faced with a black screen with words on the top saying "Account Registration Complete". If I click the Close button, I go back to the login screen and am met with the message "Authorization Error". Is this a bug that has a solution, or am I locked out of my account?

Alright, we all know that the Quickdraw makes you ADS faster when you're using full HIP Fire (so you press a different button to aim and then shoot with a different one). My question is, does the Quickdraw also work when you use full ADS (when you press 1 single button and it aims and shoots automatically). I have played since launch, and I still haven't figured this out. Any help would be appreciated.

About Training Mode

Are you only able to use the weapons you actually have? Along with the 2 new weapons.

In my inventory, I have every weapon except the HBRa3, KRM-262 and the Razorback, and they are the only weapons I can't use in the Training Mode, so I wonder if that's the reason or nobody have them there neither.

Btw, the mode is awesome. I love that all weapons in the room are with the common design, more military and realistic.

Game Randomly Crashes After S7 Update

So I just installed the season 7 update about 5 hours ago, super hyped about the new BR stuff.
I am experiencing random crashes now. It doesn't matter if I'm inside a match or not. It crashes everywhere. Game will run fine for about 2-3 mins, then crash.

Tried to play a BR game, it crashed in the middle, I reconnected, then it again crashed about 3 mins later.
CODM used to be perfect (in terms of crashes/freezes) till Season 5. It seems since then each update is making the game worse in terms of stability.

Is anyone else experiencing similar problems after the latest update? Any help is appreciated.

Voice chat issues

Whenever I use Team or All in voice chat(both in microphone and speakers) our team mates cannot hear each other. Only when we choose Friends in both mic and speakers then we can hear each other. The devs need to fix this issue

Idea to make draws and crates better

I know the game makes money from crates, draws and bundles but they get expensive. In the case of draws, super expensive. The reasoning behind my idea is you can target two markets, the whale who spends big money whilst making them worthwhile to those who are more conservative with their money.

My suggestion is to put a timer on draws. So that maybe after half way through its length it resets and balance it by making it slightly more expens, eg instead of starting at 30 cp it starts at 50, instead of 40 starts at 60.

In the case of chests start the cost lower. Say a 90cp chest starts at 30 going up by 30 each time with a cap on the cost of each chest onwards being 90. More conservative players may consider trying chests if they get essentially the first three for the price of two during the time they are on offer

Played 2 hours of ranked today...

I won and lost the entire time, so rn I'm in a limbo of being in rank protection and not being in ranked protection, I'm MVP every single time but still lose, I keep playing with noobs in MASTER, not even kidding.

Someone said what do I do with the bomb in chat, I thought bit was a joke and didn't respond and we lost. Another teammate couldn't ADS and asked how to, both separate people.

Also I was in a match of hardpoint and this guy said we were dog shit and left the Match

Literally carried my team in SnD and my teammate said they were 7 out of nowhere, in TDM the enemy just said noob every time I killed him which was fun because I destroyed him, didn't win the TDM tho because I was paired with the clown from the first paragraph.

Played SnD again and someone sucked at using the sniper, teammate tried to throw a grenade and somehow killed himself???

Played hardpoint Crash (worst combo in humanity) and I was paired with the same person that left the match, saw my username and said something about how I suck and whatnot, also left the match again.

I really hate to ask but can anyone help? Master IV

Crashes and Bugs in new Update

I have been playing this game from season 1 and i havent had any major issues or crashes. But after the new update my game has crashed almost 10 times in the past 30 mins. And the audio is bugged as hell. Cannot talk with ur friends in game, but only in lobby. Stooped playing till they hotfix these bugs and glitches.

Opinions on the Chopper

After trying it out a bit in training mode, I feel like it’s going to become the new meta. Clean iron sights(or lack thereof lmao), and it lends very well to flat, stationary suppressing fire. Could it make the scythe obsolete? Drop your opinions in the comments below

After 10 games with tanks I think they have nothing to do in BR if we don't have equipment to kill them...
I use them 2 times and killed a lot of people who can do nothing but die.
Being attacked by one it's an instant kill while I had armor 3 and 150 health...

Voice chat broken ?

Almost every single game I've played after the Season 7 update has had some issues with the voice chat.

We are either :

  1. Unable to hear anybody on our team
  2. Unable to hear specific people
  3. It's however ok in the lobby (although the mic says it's off but people can still hear me)

In one match on Tunisia, we were playing as a complete squad.
3 of us could hear and talk to each other while the other 2 could only communicate between themselves.

This is game breaking since it rules out proper coordination in ranked matches when playing as a squad.

Please look into it.

Well I had it ever since I updated my Android version to 10 but today after the update I don't have it anymore. I played 7-8 games in very high graphics with high fps. Didn't even go once. Is the issue solved for everyone or is it just me?

Higher ping but more desync?

I’ve been playing a lot of mp since the update and have noticed way more desync than before, but my ping shows 20-30. First thing I noticed is a delay between when you kill an enemy and when the drop and you get the kill text. It’s like the enemy just stands there for a split second then just drops. I’ve also noticed a lot more where it shows the enemy looking one direction and their fire is going in another direction. The final issue I’ve experienced a lot so far is when I engage and hit 3-5 shots on them, but don’t show a single hit register on me, then out of no where I just die. It says I have better ping than ever before, but it really feels like I’m playing on 80+ ping. Anyone else experiencing these kinds of issues?

Anyone experiencing sound bug?

Basically when I open the app, sometimes all of the sounds (music, ui, in-game) sound slightly drowned out. Fixing it is random. Sometimes I have to close and reopen the game. Some times I just press the home button and then reopen it. And I found out today that if I open one of those "watch ad" things it sometimes fixes itself after the ad ends. Anyone have any idea or experiencing this? I just recently got a new iPad 2019 and it's definitely not the iPad or headphones I use.

Post season 7 update, I have been getting crashes on every game play. Using medium graphics with high frame rate. Tried with low graphics and medium frame rate, still same.

Any other options to try, I was really excited for Season 7. Guess I'll have to wait.

Can’t get in to season 7

CoD Mobile down for everyone or just me?

Game sits on validating settings for a minute then says download configuration failed and says to check my Internet connection. It was working perfectly fine this morning (around 8 to 9 am) but now I'm unable to log in and yes my internet connection is fine. Any idea why this is happening? Can emotes please be added to the credits store? I can’t purchase bundles or crates where new emotes are almost guaranteed. Would be a nice way to let reward players who consistently play and grind for new items.

We Need African Servers In COD Mobile!!!!

Pls can someone ask these Devs why they haven't provided us Africans with servers since the launch of this game till now??
Because tbh it's not more funny it's really annoying and frustrating.
Since this new update our EU and NA friends have noticed a really massive drop in their ping. Most of them are playing between 8-24 ms while ours just dropped to 70 -100+ ms, How are we supposed to compete with them it's really not cool at all. I literally 1v1ed a friend who was playing on 24ms while I'm playing 80-100+, Pre aiming wasn't even doing anything at all.
So please do something about this and provide African servers for us.

Let’s talk about the audio design in this new update 🤮
  1. The moaning is too loud and weird🤮
  2. The voice acting overall are super bad. No character. Sounds like an Japanese dubbing.
  3. The spatial audio is messed up. A dude getting hit far away. I can hear his groan 🥴 the volume levels are all over the place.
  4. The death sound. I liked what they had before. Now it has like a echo to it. The previous one was short and perfect. I hope this makes sense.
  5. No music when the game starts. Bruh I want some music to pump me up 🙏🏻
  6. M4 sounds like cordite with more mid. It doesn’t sound like an m4 anymore.

As you can see only the audio of the game is very poor this season. Especially coming off a session known for its music and sound design.

What y’all think? The rest of the game seems good.

My Friend's $10k worth Call of duty Mobile account has been hacked.

A hacker has managed to get into my friend's call of duty mobile account and they managed to connect it to their apple id. They changed everything in the account including the profile picture and also spent all the cod points and credits. My friend spent approximately $10k on this game and it is all gone. I am trying to use this post as a resort to somehow help him. My friend has an android so he couldn't do anything about changing the apple id. When my friend went onto the activison account details in the official website, the apple id was under the name Lawrence. The device was a iPhone Xr. My friend lives in Australia and he is 17. He is in shock and is afraid to call the authorities as he lives by himself and other privacy reasons. Please help.

Glitch at Rust

Guys, I don’t know about y’all, but I’ve played rust in the new season, and noticed that the enemies and friendly , re-spawn in the same location. (Behind the container on the corner). Makes a complete spawn trap.

Doesn’t matter what mode you play, you’ll end up there multiple times.

Has anybody gone through the same thing ?

COD Mobile makes my phone restart, for some reason.

Hi, so, basically, I had an old 8 Go SD card, and I had problems with the game restarting my phone and stuff. I bought a new 64 Go fast SD card, and I still have that problem. It even restart my phone when I'm not playing it !

I did some tests, my phone never restarted by itself when the game wasn't installed. So I uninstalled it, waited to have my new SD card, then reinstalled it. I played a multiplayer game, it went well, even though the game isn't all smooth (might be because of my phone). Then I did a game against IA players, and... black screen and my ENTIRE PHONE restarted.

Is it a known problem ? My phone is a Motorola Moto G4. What can I do ?

Is pubgm better than codm?

I'm from India and I loveee codm. I have played both games and still think codm is better but everyone of my friends think the opposite. imo codm has better graphics, character skins and they keep the game fresh every season. Once I made them to try codm but they just made fun of me and told me that game isn't good. But why does pubgm has more people playing it than cod(atleast in india)? Is it just because that game came earlier than codm? Or is there something else? What do u think?

Rank reset is the game

This is an e-sport and like other sports, seasons move on and leagues etc reset. For instance in F1 racing everyone starts equal again at the next season. The fact that you only go back 10 ranks allows an advantage to those with higher ranks to still start higher.

This is not unreasonable in any way as it applies to everyone. Imo if you did it before why shouldn't you again. If you can't manage again it's just because there are people better this time (or more cheats). You've got 2 months.

Gravity spikes and war machine nerf

Yo screw all you noôbs who were bitching and moaning about the gravity spikes and the war machine just cuz u guys got destroyed and didn't know how to jump to avoid it. The poor devs had to listen to your bitchy complaining and nerfed it to make you noôbs happy.

It was fine how it is, it's a goddamn score streak, it's earned so its supposed to give you an advantage. ITs ImpOsSiBlE tO aVoID in legendary a lot of us would jump to avoid it and if u saw the enemy early enough u could shoot them in midair too. It was perfectly fair and fine how it was. You have to get close to the enemy which is a risk, so naturally if you manage to pull it off you should be handsomely rewarded with a nice triple kill on enemies capping B. Maybe the recharge time was too quick cuz if you got a triple kill you instantly had another one, but that's about it. Because of all the moaning and groaning now the devs made it so you hang in the air, do a pop boogie and then land at last after 5 minutes. By then the enemy not only killed you twice, but is already done teabagging ur failure of a corpse.

The devs did an awesome job this season and last season and I rarely complain about anything they've done, and I don't blame them for this nerf either. It's on you sucky noobs who refuse to train their reflexes and just wanna rush around without any evasive tactics (jumping, sliding, not staying too close together) whatsoever and then complain about getting gravity spiked.

I won't start a petition or anything cuz the devs have enough on their plate plus you complainers complain enough to the poor guys, but I'm just gonna leave this here to let you guys think about what you've done.

Oh I forgot about the war machine. Shit shoots like a lil pewpew water gun now. Has the range of a fuckin thrown potato.

Cannot see ads for lucky draw

After the update I cannot see ads for the lucky draw, when clocking the watch ad I get the message that I have watched all the ads and it will reset after midnight. 2 days have passed and it did not reset.

In game mic not working

The in game mic is not working properly in lobby and in matches. Usually resetting the game fixes this bug but this time it doesn't work. Sometimes the mic only works in lobby but apears disabled in match. I have tried redownloading the game, restarting it and clearing cache but it's still not fixed. Any idea how to fix it?

Ghost Nerfs

Has anyone else noticed that there are usually secret changes that aren't listed in the update logs?

Most of these wouldn't even be a big deal, but it's the fact that they seemingly try to hide it.

Just one example that I noticed within the first few games after updating is the arctic .50. Now it gives hitmarkers for headshots and there was no mention to a damage/multiplier change.

Sparrow is probably the best operator skill this season

I've always used the sparrow back in season 2 and still use it after the nerf a few updates ago. It's still really good imo, just need to land your shots a tad bit more accurate and easy kill, you can spam it, great at long range imo.

If your arrow hits you're enemy it killed them silently without the arrow exploding which saves you alot unlike the war mechine. It can clear domination in seconds, really OP in TDM.

Only op skill that wasn't tuched nerfed, other then the defender shield
