Can't sign in after update

I just updated the game and it wants me to sign in but when I do I get an "Authorization error (2,-1)". Anyone have this problem and know the solution? I tried updating my password but no luck. I'd hate to lose all my work and have to start all over again.

Bots in Season 7

This is like my fourth post about bot ai. I don't know who the monkey on Activision thinks tracking players with 100% headshot accuracy is a good idea, but it's been enough. I updated the game a couple minutes ago and played five matches and in literally all of these matches, I've died numerous times to bots having 100% accuracy. Before, this would happen maybe once or twice a game, but from these matches I find that this occurs much more often now. After I got a 14 killstreak and my teammates having 5, all the bots on the other team continued to fucking trash me with their lmg beam from mid range. Please u/COD_Mobile_Official it's so frustrating getting a high killstreak whether its a vtol or nuke to just get destroyed by a random bot that perfectly tracks your head. I'm so tired of complaining about this change, MAKE THE BOTS MORE HUMAN-LIKE!

I believe I seen someone on reddit who made a suggestion about having free crates and lucky draws it got downvoted to hell. His concept was you watch ads for tokens and you can purchase crates. But the actual system is you watch ads get tokens and you can draw to try get weapons

Did the AK-47 get nerfed?

I decided to go on training mode to look at all the cool stuff and I decided to pick up the AK47 to hear it’s new sound. But when I fired it continuously it felt like the recoil changed dramatically. I dunno if it’s just me or not but it doesn’t feel the same. I looked at Hawks-nest but he didn’t cover anything on it.

The new update is buggy

After updating the game keeps closing randomly. I tried restarting my phone, reinstalling the game, nothing helps. Sometimes at the main menu or sometimes while in middle of a game, it just crashes.

There's another bug in the advertisement event. Whenever I click on the button to watch a video it says I've already watched it today even though I haven't. Here's a screenshot.

Hope the devs can fix these bugs.

Changes to bots in season 7

Don't know if anyone has noticed this yet but the bots seem no longer use acog and holo, only iron sights or red dot. They seem to use foregrip on guns more often now.
As far as cosmetics go, they now use the Lev krasomething and outrider arctic. I also spotted a bot in Tunisia using the m4 dream glacier. Most importantly though, they can have non-default avatars and different frames now.

Basically, they are steadily evolving and are going to blend in perfectly eventually. We are all doomed

Free Lucky Draw vs the Grind

Seeing how the Global peeps are having issues with watching ads for the lucky draw, I am now convinced that grinding to get the items within the draw is better. I basically had to play 3 BR games to get the Captain's skin. IIRC, all the other items in the draw are grindable in Garena. It might take a while but a lot can happen in one game.

Game crashes randomly

My game keeps crashing at random intervals, both in-game and in the main menu screen, since the new update. This seems to happen when I interact with something, like pressing the ad button in the menu or picking an item of the ground in BR.

Crashes in BR were a problem before, but before the update the textures would become glitchy first and the screen would fade to black, but sound would keep playing and touch inputs were still responding. This was only fixed by restarting the game and happened almost every match in BR. Now, you just quit out of the game without a warning.

Same thing in MP, making the game unplayable.

My device is a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 running Android 10.

No hay protección de objetos duplicados en las cajas!!

Hablaron de que vendría esa protección para asegurar las recompensas a los jugadores, es tan triste que abrí mas de 50 cajas y ninguna de las dos skins salió, la outrider o el otro y para colmo en 40 cajas me salio todo repetido una y otra y otra vez. Tal vez hay muchos por ahí que guardan un poco de dinero, compran sus CP y deciden que quieren algo bonito que disfrutar en el juego, meter ese dinero en cajas en una maldita estafa, perdés tu dinero y no tenés lo que realmente querías. Por eso si tan solo implementaran lo de los lotes solamente, no mas cajas, no mas ruletas, un precio fijo para lo que uno quiere y en lo que decide que gastar, así tener la satisfacción que aunque uno gaste en un juego llega a tener lo que realmente quería. Yo soy de comprarme lo que me gusta en el juego pero esto ya cansa, aburre y dan ganas de irse a otro lado donde si al pagar obtengas lo que quieras, que valga la pena ese dinero invertido.

There is no protection of duplicate objects in the crates!!!

They talked about how that protection would come to ensure the rewards to the players, it is so sad that I opened more than 50 boxes and neither of the two skins came out, the outrider or the other one, and I got a lot of duplicates, in 40 boxes all happened over and over and again. Maybe there are many out there who save a little money, buy their CPs and decide they want something nice to enjoy in the game, putting that money in crates is a damn scam, you lose your money and you don't have what you really wanted.
So if they only implemented the bundles, that would be so great for many that we are not rich to spend a lot in the game. No more crates, no more lucky draws, a fixed price for what you want and what you decide to spend, thus having the satisfaction that even if you spend in a game you will have what you really wanted. I am someone who like to buy what I like in the game but this is tiring, boring and makes me want to go somewhere else where you can get what you want when paying, it is worth that money invested.

I think they changed shadows and lighting of MP maps they seem a lil different from before. Maybe I'm overthinking but they're more detailed even in least graphics and seem kinda darker than before or maybe more saturated

Current events in COD: Mobile

Hello guys, I'm going for the welcome back event and haven't played the game from past 8 days. I've updated the app today and I'm sure some events must have already started. I need to wait for 6-7 days more before I can login. Can someone share the event and rewards I maybe missing if I continue not logging for next 6-7 days.

P.S. I do have a secondary account where I could check for the event but it's facing some issues with the app update and not being able to launch the game.

First bug of season 7!

Hey Devs, new audio bug this time.
In lobbys with my mate I can either hear him or he hears me there's no form of 2 way communication. furthermore, if we do hear each other it's super static and broken. I can see the small speaker like icon next to his name while he's speaking but I don't hear anything. I've experimented with wired earphones, Bluetooth earphones and just device audio but there's no improvement. We both use decent devices and I have 250mbps of WiFi. is there a fix to this or am I the fort to experience this sort of hitch?

My codm account was hacked , I had linked it using Activision I'd, I don't know how but someone has acces to it at some other location. I tried contacting Activision support but there was no response or any suitable thing to help me. Spawn bug?

Anyone else having trouble trying to install the update?

I have 3GB of RAM and enough free space (more than 10GB) and yet the game simply won't install... It goes all the way to 100%, then it says "installing" and just sand there forever (quite literally, it's been almost an hour).

The game is good but it definitely isn't worth the headache, guess I'll just let it go.

Problem with ingame sound and mic system

I am not able to hear any in game sound ( such as firing or footsteps or announcer) whenever I turn on my mic when I ingame. Also when in lobby whenever I turn on mic I don't hear any UI sounds or any other player speaking. Overall Audio system have been buggged and inconsistent.

Tunisia map thoughts

I have played the map quite a few times now but I csnt keep in mind which road leads to what and why are the domination points so stretched out. I have been playing this game since day 1 and this is the first map that has confused and irritated me wo much . What are your thoughts on this. I personally believe this map is way too much big to be made permanent for ranked and too complex for normal players to master enough to play it in ranked.

The larger BR map makes the game feel empty....where is everyone?

BR needs a higher player count or a starting circle like warzone to make it so you don’t run around forever looking for players. Grabbing a tank makes it worse, I’ve had a few games now where I picked up a tank and driven around the whole game without seeing anyone till the last player in the final circle. Anyone else had this experience?

Just a small Devs appreciation post from a BR loving player

I just wanna thank devs for this update. I can now play BR again without any issue. I couldn't play BR last update. Everytime I tried to play frames would start to drop and Reconnect error would come. So much so that I had to stop playing BR which I love the most. But in this new update I can finally play again.

As for the new update its awesome. There are so many new locations. New guns added. Tank is also there if you wanna have fun. New weapon attachments. New gun sounds. New compass. I love it.

-The Tank in BR is stupid and ruins the end of the game
-can’t play with friends cause it says they don’t have the update yet they do

Lagging issue after update

I use a samsung galaxy a30. (India) and the game used to run super smooth. But after the update it has started to lag. I believe that this can be corrected with some optimization. Update causing SEVERE performance issues [Android]

After updating, the game has been CONSTANTLY crashing, from inside BR,MP to even on the main menu.

I don't know how you can have this significant a bug after having a whole extra week to work on the update, but the devs need to fix this ASAP.

I've tried it on the Samsung S8 and Samsung Tab A 10.1 2019 (both on Android 9) and they both keep crashing. Another user using a device on Android 10 also pointed out the game keeps crashing.

Dear Codm Players...

As we all know, Season 7 starts tomorrow and everyone has been hyped for the launch of the update, with different new features and items coming into the game, new br locations, new mp maps, new score streaks and even new battle pass. With that said I would like you all to take a moment and bare with me as you read what I'm about to say.

Yesterday, (day before update launch), I was looking for a team to join in global chat to play battle royale squads then I noticed a message of someone who seemed in need. He asked for help, he needed cp. He said that he only had one battle pass and he had been playing the game since the day it launched and that was the wild west battle pass. He has tried so many YouTube giveaways from Squally, ParkertheSlayer, etc but no luck. I also reached out to him and asked why a person would give a random stranger cp. This was before he shared his story with me. He is a 19 year old Tunisian student. He has no work because he studies full time. He doesn't even have a credit card. His family often struggles with money so it's not like he wouldn't have asked them if he knew they would give him. He said there was a time when someone told him they would help him but later on blocked him from contacting him which made him very sad. This person asked him series of questions like where he lives, his age, name, last name, if he has a job and even his religion. This person interrogated him but he kept his cool because he was the one in need. So you get it, that player blocked him.
I told him that I would help him, even I don't have the facilities to buy cp at the moment but I didn't care, I was determined to find a way to help him because I know how it feels to need something so bad but you don't have resources to cater for that need. I'm 16 years old. I asked my mum if she could help him but she didn't want to listen to me because she felt I was wasting money. I wanted to give him 800cp because he says that he only wanted one skin this next season and that was Seraph - Sicaria. It is coming out ...

What was the update size?

It showed 2.1GB for me, had a stroke as I get only 1.5GB/day. The update got stuck at 192MB, I had to clear the play store from RAM and launch the app again. Got stuck again around 250MB, I ignored it and proceeded to watch Hawks videos. Got a notification that my 1.5GB is over so I checked again and this time I died because it was 0MB. I decided I will not exit the app and will stare at the update page until it's done, just when it got till 364MB, the game started to install and the update was successful.

I am confused af, did this happened to anyone else or I am alone? What was the update size?

PS I had to buy 6GB extra for the update.

Unpopular opinions ...

Attack of the undead is meh. I mean not all are Fergs or knife iOS who can farm kills. It becomes boring when you run with a knife against gunners every time.

Adding legendary guns for those guns who already have legendary will not increase the legendary sales anyway cause most will not buy it if they have earlier version of legendary. Also what is the point of adding legendary guns death effects if it's only seen in mp ? Add the death effects in br too !

Adding special emotes for epic characters but not make them useable or show in victory feed is useless.

All these new UI and stuff but still br has screen freeze and black screen bugs ? Why ?

Lagging and can't hear Mic

I use an iPhone 6s and the game used to run on medium graphics smoothly but after the update it cant even run on low graphics without lags. And the ingame mic completely stopped working, before it used to glitch once you enter a match but right now you cant even he at anything from the lobby. Please look to it devs.

I’ve been trying to log into my account for quite some time now ( using my COD account ) after doing the season 7 update ( and having to wait like half an hour on that update but that’s not the problem here ) I put in my email and correct password. It says account registration complete and then I just get black screen with a “back” and a “close” button. Both take me back to the login... has someone got a fix?

Battle Royale is kinda feeling like child's game!!

(This is just my opinion!)Why can't BR be more realistic like warzone.. I feel like special operators should be completely removed. And now they have tank😪. Also I feel like they should remove TPP. It's not realistic, in TPP, that u can see ur enemies but ur enemies can't see u... I feel like BR is becoming childish day by day. Am I the only one who feels like this?

[BR] Why are people crying about tanks?!

I’ve played three BR matches back to back where I never went for the tank but wait for other people to do, and turned out that with good cover and some good weapons (not hard to get since tanks drop endgame) you can either kill them or force them out of the tank. It gives a nice challenge which is better than the old mostly boring easy games.

No more 1v1 mode?

I might be in the minority on this (based on how bad most opponents in 1v1 were and how many posts whined about the cordite "grind") but i honestly loved 1v1 more than any other mode, and its exclusion makes me not want to play as much. Like at least make it a quickteam option. No other mode is nearly as good for training as there are no assists, just your ability to outgun and outthink opponents. Its also more fun than regular mp for the same reasons. No scorestreaks, no bot teammates or low skill players who cheese tactics to score easy wins. You can be a god in 1v1 but lose matches in ranked simply because you dont have a squad of 5 to play with regularly. Bring back 1v1.

Ping problem

WTF is problem with ping now ? Playing game it starts perefectly at 40-50ms but after sometime while playing it raises to 199ms and not able to connect .. doesn't matter connected to wifi or mobile data.. anybody having same problem?

Where is the hbr A3

I went into training mode to test the copper and mp5 and use other guns I don’t have but I noticed that there are no hbr and krm but there is a blank panel are they meant to go up there or is there no default version of them so they couldn’t add them yet in training mode

Warning!!! Bots now use ghost perk.

Ran a pub and got an all bot match...Only 3 bots showed up on the UAV. 1 of them ran up behind me with a shotgun. I survived. The other ghost bot was running around with the MSMC. Just sharing this with yall so you can keep your eyes peeled when trying for a nuke.

Tanks... Are they broken?

I was testing out everything new in battle royale and got my hands on a tank. I proceeded to win the rest of the game with just the tank. But then I began to realize that it might be too op. It has insane amounts of health, one shots a full health level 3 armor player and requires no skill. Petition to nerd the tank

Tanks... Should they be nerfed?

I feel like the tanks in the game are too overpowered. They have insane health (because... Tank) but they can also one hit a full health level 3 vest player. They require zero skill to use and completely undermine the importance of gun skill. Upvote to get this to the devs.

Thanks for fixing the severs and thanks for the new things in br but one the u should fix the hip fire of the cordite because being able to kill someone by hipfireing from 25m is broken and one more thing nerf the acog by mack it ads slower because having more acc and u can mess and can see people from far designs with out losing any theng is bad

Oh man oh man oh man... The season 7 is lit..

Damn I have to admit that cod devs have done some interesting and awesome job in this season.
The kill sound from cod modern warfare is my favourite. Aside from that the stability of the overall game has been improved so much. I don't feel any lag nor any framed rates fluctuations. Really I'm so much impressed. And the new cool soundtrack of this season is dope. Really brings out the chemical vibes that I played on modern warfare 3 and Modern Warfare. And I'm just waiting for tomorrow's battle pass.. Love you Devs... U guys touched my soul. 😘

PSA: How to escape shock rcs since I guess no one knows this.

Heres how you escape shock rcs faster.
Step 1:Get shocked
Step 2:Spam tap the lightning bolts that appear on your shoot button.
Step 3:Get ready to shoot whoever the hell is following it since it's now broke.

I'm surprised by how many people saw my comment on another post and didnt know this, and the slight few who found it by accident made that clear. People wouldn't have been screaming nerf if they knew they could break the damn thing themself.

Can’t use WiFi for the game

Hey cod mobile, since the update I wasn’t able to play the game with my WiFi even though I could play with celular data. My WiFi worked for everything other than the game so I uninstalled the game and was able to log in. However after a few hours when I sat down to play the game I found that I couldn’t log in or play the game with my WiFi yet again. I live in Japan and I actually saw some people on Twitter that have the same issue as me. Could you look into the problem

We all now the Tank is OP.

-If you see a Tank without anyone in it, GET IT

-The best way to kill a Tank are explosions (rockets, nades, other tanks)

-If you are running at a Tank and someone else gets it, either run away from the Tank making circles and zig zags, or run at the Tank making circles and zig zags, and then hop on the passenger seat. If they want to kill you, they have to get out of the Tank. When they get out, swap seats and the Tank is yours.

-Tanks can't aim downward a lot and the barrel rotation is very slow. So agility is key against a Tank.

-ADSing in a Tank zooms you in, this is useful for longer range fire.

-If a player is in a Tank and is close, you can see the Tank in the Minimap.

These are a few tips to play as or against a Tank, hope these help you.

Been playing since October release and I have some feedback

I know the game has to improve and things have to get better, including all sorts of changes and updates, but this? This was a bit much. Most of what I say is my opinion but it’s based off of my experience thus far with the new update.

  • Tunisia map is like a hidden maze. You have no time to explore it and constantly get lost. It’s fucking huge. Played one game of domination and don’t wanna play it again because I simply didn’t enjoy being confused and overwhelmed.
  • Ranked match making has insanely long waits now. I used to get into a match in less than 10 seconds and now I’m waiting 30+ seconds
  • the ranked point deduction is fucking insane. It needed one change: being similar to how it was in the early seasons.

Battle Royale is absolutely chaotic in my opinion.

  • You have missions for rewards that tell you to go to the new areas but you go there and you’re bombarded with bots. If not bots, real players that’ll kill you fast.

  • You have ZERO time to check things out (even a little bit) before having to go across the map to stay in the safe zone.

  • map is way too big. Can’t find any players until the last circle.

  • the tank can be op IF you were shown how to use it before hopping in it. Had about five bots shooting at the tank as I tried to figure out how the aim worked and how to drive it.

  • it’s dropped when most players you encounter are at close range. The tank is a distance vehicle and is useless when there’s ten players left. I simply hopped out and left it because it did me no good.

  • the practice range is actually pretty nice! Minor glitches in terms of seeing the gun until your ADS but getting to play with guns that aren’t available in multiplayer is fun.

To sum things up, I personally will not be playing battle royale anymore due to the fact that it’s absolutely chaotic. Ranked is having a few issues that I can get by because they’re small. If Tunisia get added to ranked, I’m gonna lose my mind. If I could tell my past self what this update would be, I would go without updating for a...

Spectre Geist Voicelines

Last season and now after the update, there has been no voice lines for Spectre Geist in BR. Initially there was a whole controversy that the character is pay to win because it would inform of enemies before they can be seen, Reaper behaved similarly. Guess they nerfed Spectre, this nerf basically makes a good character useless in BR because your teammates cannot hear when you mark items for them, and when your character announces they being shot or reloading. This is the whole muted mercenary thing a bit too far

So the update is great and all but I really don't get why they changed the system to this extent. Now you get more points for bottom fragging in the winning team and a harsher reductions even if you carry but just because you lost you lose a lot of points. This is very obvious in SnD. People will just complain about their teammates even more now it's ridiculous and every harsh for people who solo queue in my opinion

Noticed that devs listened to community and added water reflexion too, now I could have finally great experience playing game again! They must add more in game download option instead of releasing the whole 2.1 or 2.3 gb of update on the store..

I tried downloading the update its 2.09 GB (Global) and i just lost 4 gb of my data after trying 2 time and still can't download it. It shows error after downloading 1.8 gb both time......
I beleive the update is large because of the battle royale expansion.. It can be more efficient that they should add the BR map as in game download option like the MP maps Tunisia, Gulag & High-rise....

Season 7 update

I installed the season 7 update but when I logged in with my activision accoun, it said account registration complete. It has a totally blank screen with a back and cancel button at the top. If I hit back, it goes back and makes me log in again. If I hit cancel, it says authorization error.

They have added a root detection just like they did in PUBG Mobile

I updated just now and the game started crashing randomly without any error, which means the game is doing it voluntarily and at any random time.. it happens only in rooted phones and it sucks to be like that, I cannot unroot my phone just for one game and compromise with everything I do with the root. They are really pissing me off with their incompetency now..

This map is garbage...
Here I thought we were never going to get a worse map than Crossfire, but Tunisia is here to prove me wrong... with the huge amounts of head glitch spots, taking a year to get from C to A in dom or A to B in S&D, all the buildings getting in the way of shooting down scorestreaks....
Shipment, vacant, wet work, bog would be much better maps... and that's just from Cod 4

Here is a list of things that i think should be done by COD Mobile devs. If you even think 1 of the following should happen then upvote and comment which one is your favorite. Read till the last.
  1. Default Skin for every gun
  2. Crates that can be bought using credits
  3. Cooler looking Jade skin
  4. Skin of the AK47 gun, quickdraw and magazine should be same
  5. A Gifting System through which you can gift someone the duplicate items
  6. Or a market system named "Black Market" where you will be able to sell and buy guns to and from people.
  7. Give more cool skins in Grind Events
  8. Ban all the people with racist names in the game, Hackers and cheaters.
  9. Fix the bugs that the community and youtubers make videos on
  10. Give at least 5% of your income to the B.L.M Movement
  11. And last but not least keep improving the game
