Climbing to Legendary MP vs Legendary BR

I've been playing since launch, but this is my first season (Season 4) reaching Legendary in both multiplayer and battle royal. I never tried climbing before because I didn't have as much free time as I do now in 2020... So, after seeing so many of others short opinions and memes on how climbing MP is much more difficult than climbing BR, I wanted to share my rather lengthy thoughts.

Disclaimer:
I would not have made the final push from Master V to Legendary in multiplayer without the ranked shield. I prefer playing Battle Royal.

Multiplayer:
This season, it took me 135 wins out of a total of 204 games to reach Legendary while playing with randoms.Elite I to Master I: Overall it went smoothly. Like many posts I've seen, the scores are distributed with one person doing well, followed by two players doing ok, and the last two players doing poorly. Winning was usually the result of whichever team got the most kills regardless of game mode as objectives were not a large focus. Losing was not a big deal because the points lost were minimal. I found myself wondering if some players were bots. I placed first the most in these ranks.

Master I to Master V was a bit tougher with games becoming more objective based, but the largest jump in difficulty for me was Master V to Legendary.Master V to Legendary: Master V felt much more difficult. Halfway through Master V I played with and against those in Legendary. It was here that I had games were I felt useless. I dreaded domination and hardpoint, as having a teammate not play the objective or leave resulted in a loss. Score distribution was mostly the same. The legendaries on my team played as well as the other Master Vs. I feel that it was because those are players who must have just reached it. Losing resulted in a deduction of around 20 points, which considering a win was an addition of 20-30 points depending on the game mode, was painful. One loss does not seem bad, but getting three losses in row was demoralizing, especially if one was due to a player le...

Is it possible? A friend is giving me his account, and it has no facebook attached to it. A Modern Warfare dataminer detected files that released data from Modern Warfare Season 4 is now Wednesday, June 10th at 06:00 UTC, which can be translated into 23:00 PT / 2:00 ET.

Nothing oficial, but assuming that events such as the "Ea Play" that was scheduled to happen on June 11th was postponed to the 18th, this is the most likely day to the update come.

Petition

IPad and PC players are the most annoying thing in the game right now. No matter how good a Phone Player you are, they will always have an advantage over you. I think this is not fair in relation to mobile players, therefore, I propose to add a new function to the settings - a single type of control. So that we can play with people with the same type of control. I find it honest, especially in the ranking and the upcoming tournament. Thank you for reading.

About Call of duty Garena....

Many people have been complaining about Garena getting more good shit then global players, but alot of kids on this sub think it's garena as a whole that gets all the good stuff. But actually it's Garena Indonesia that got it ALL u dumbass. The only good rewards garena gets as a whole is the cyberspace guns, which tbh, isn't that great as u imagine. Rare gun skins still look better in my opinion. Hope u babies will stop whining, even stuff in Garena is so much more expensive.

In your opinion: Should "Operator Skills" be disabled for Ranked Mode?

I think Operator Skills are a fun facet of the game. But the keyword there is "fun". Operator Skills are very nice to have... in pubs. They're a great way to turn around a match if you're losing. Also, they're a great incentive for you playing good and getting kills since they charge up faster when you kill players.

But here's the thing, there's already another facet of the game that rewards you for killing and playing good: Scorestreaks.

While some players would rather have Operator Skills removed from the game entirely, I think it should just be disabled for ranked. The devs should capable of doing that I think.

The deciding factor of you winning a ranked match and earning/losing those ranked points should be your gun skills, and your team's overall performance. And while at the moment many of us can say that yes, those are the biggest deciding factors... there's also these things happening in your ranked game:

  • You and your team getting kicked off the Hardpoint because of enemy Grav Spike

  • You and your team getting blasted off of B in Domination because of War Machine

  • Putting 600 bullets into an enemy, only for them to one-shot you with Annihilator

  • Speaking of Annihilator, nice hard-earned VTOL you have there, it'd be a shame if it went down in two shots.

This brings up a dilemma of mine though, cause Transform Shield is actually damn useful and not a lethal Op. Skill like the others. Maybe move it to Scorestreaks? Make it have the same points as a Molotov or Shock RC, or cheaper.

What do you think about lethal Op. Skills? Do you think they should stay, nerfed to the ground, removed from ranked, or removed from the game entirely?

Sad realisation

I have realised the unfair advantage a controller can have in a FPS game... its call of duty :mobile and not call of duty:controller..

Although a controller cannot make a noob a pro, it can definitely make a pro god like.

Considering ranked matches the only people who have advantage over phone players are the ones playing on iPad.

That said, I am happy the game atleast allows controller players like me to play regular MP and ranked BR so I don’t think I will go ahead and play any ranked MP match coz that’s just too much effort and time for me to learn touch / claw gaming

Ranking system needs fixing!

The ranking system is absolute trash. This is because you need to gamble. The chance of either getting good teammates or trash noobs who don't even back you up when taking objectives is 50/50. When you get to pro league(like me) you lose rank xp just from losing a match. I lose more matches than I win, as I get paired with incompetent players most of the time. so, by default, I have no chance of ever getting to master 1, which I have been grinding for so long to get to, only to get stopped in my tracks at pro V.(and probably not pro V for much longer...). I came here for a game, not a gambling session!
This needs fixing URGENTLY.

Eligible jurisdictions for CodM world championship

We (our esports team) have read and thought over the rules cited at *CodM esports rule bookand have some concerns and queries regarding it.

As mentioned in section 2 "Players", subsection 2.1 "Eligibility", clause 2.1.4, states a numbered amount of Jurisdictions that are eligible, but further in sub clause 2.1.4.1 it states "such other jurisdictions as may be permitted by Administration (each, an Eligible Jurisdiction)".

Our query is whether THE UNMENTIONED countries are allowed to play with no hiccups and in their respective regions OR is it required for us (specific example) from Pakistan to get a written/verbal permission from admins and/or government officials as there are no rules against any sort of esports event in Pakistan?

After thinking a little more, I've realised that I shouldnt be complaining about ranked being too easy anymore

Dont get me wrong, I'm not saying it's not easy. It's extremely easy. And it shouldnt have been like this in the first place.

But in the end, players' skill wont change, no matter how easy/hard ranked is. So, to the good players who feel like they deserve a better challenge ir a better team to play with:

Join a MP ranked oriented Clan of serious and good players, with everyone legendary level of course. If they have to test you before allowing u, thats better, because it means they dont wanna accept any players like an s4 legendary who cant even aim properly.

And you will be able to play with them and enjoy ranked with a good team. Which means, your legendary games will become even easier. Also, if you would want an actual challenge, scrims are a thing.

The KN44 is the best AR in the game

everyone will downvote i know but it's better than the HBRa3 why

1: it has less recoil

2: faster sprint speed and ads

3: a confusing ttk close range hbr kills faster yes but KN has more longer close range hbr has mid and far but the kn doesn't kn from 20 to 40m kills faster because it doesn't far range and the hbr up to 40m it's on max range which is 517 and kn is on mid which is 382 and max is 478

so the HBR close range is better but KN up to 15m is better

GFX tool yet for higher resolution?

My phone is complete trash to support high graphics, it runs on low. I'm not looking for high graphics whilst maintaining decent frame rate cuz that'd be impossible. Is there a way (or a gfx app) to max out the resolution. (With still low graphics)

I do this on pubg M with the highest possible resolution (still low graphics) and a pretty good frame rate. Is there a way for COD too?

We've been complaining for two seasons now and the devs arent doing anything about it! I cant count how many times I experienced the 200 ms and on lucky days i get the 80 ms but i still get killed by a guy with a 30 ms ping rotating around a corner. Pls upvote guys!

need a button to lock up both primary and secondary weapons. I can't remember how many times unintended weapons are picked up by accident, so did YTbers, you have to re-pick the whole accessories , so annoying.

What is the single / auto switch button used for ? totally USELESS AFAIK, why not change to lockup function, or at least offer the option to choose either switch s/a mode or lockup in settings, looks way better and reasonable.

Heads Up on the M4 buff

In close range, one head shot with the M4 can get a faster TTK than the KN. This makes the M4 a competitor with the HBR and BK.

The M4 has better recoil, fast movement, fast reload time, and a faster ADS time than the BK, but the BK has a larger ammo capacity and higher damage.

It all comes down to personal preference when this new update comes along.

Let's talk about kill confirmed mode.

Players seem to love this mode. I love it as well. It feels like a strategic version of TDM. I would love to see this game in ranked. But I don't like how people are spamming VTOL'S, Goliaths using persistence. If you play well, you can easily secure 4500-5000 points and you can easily spam VTOL'S with it. I know I might sound kinda hypocrite because using persistence might be that player's play style and he's doing what he feels comfortable. But let's be honest enemies, teammates spamming VTOL'S once in every 3 games is really annoying. This has reduced the competitiveness of this game mode in my opinion. I think scorestreaks shouldn't be allowed in this game mode. Once again this is my personal opinion and you guys may not agree. But I'm pretty damn sure many players are annoyed seeing their enemies, teammates spam VTOL'S in almost every game. 1 out of every 3 games, I get such enemy or teammate using persistence and it kinda feels like rapid fire lol. Players will get most definitely be annoyed if VTOL'S are spammed in ranked... What do you guys think? Tell in the comments down below. Have a good day :)

Here is an open invite for people looking for an active COD Mobile clan that is both casual and a little competitive. There really is no time commitment besides being an active clan member (no scrimms etc). I wanted to remove the stigma clans have of being too “elitist” etc. As for history of our clan, we were a pretty competitive clan in Rules of Survival, but my friends and I from high school have transferred over to COD Mobile.

An idea to bring back old Battle Pass guns and/or skins.

The idea is very similar to Warframe's Prime Vault if you're familiar with it.

How that works: at a certain time/update, a certain set of items gets released, while another set, released much time ago, gets vaulted (removed from farming).

There are times when the Prime Vault opens, and certain items, which were available in previous times/updates (in case people were not able to get them or didnt play the game at the time).

How we could implement it here: Every Battle Pass from now on (since they announced crates will be gone) will award crates (like it did so far: at certain tiers + fot each tier past 50). Each season's crates will contain items from a certain past season (not necessarily in order, from S1).

I think this would be a good idea, since the biggest amount of money they get from BP is only from the premium BP itself (nobody buys tiers and/or crates anymore). Also this idea would appeal to potential BP buyers (because there are also many people who were mad they didnt get to play when yhe respective items were in the game), so more BPs will be bought.

Some of u might say "No, my AK47 Red Action and M4 cqb are exclusive and should stay that way". Items u get from a 5$ subscription-type offer is not exclusive. Legendaries are exclusive.

Imagine if this was a thing

I think it would be funny if there was a trip wire that is just two non explosive trip mines that can be placed on the ground or in door ways where if you run through and it was placed thigh high. If you ran through what would happen is you would fall and slide depending on your speed, your weapons would be unequipped and if you were holdings grenade or trip mine it would be thrown and explode but if you hit a wall and we’re running you would be stunned or you would die, just imagine the kill cam. But if it was neck high then you would get clotheslined. The way it could be countered is by either shooting it or jumping over if it was low enough or sliding under if it was high enough (excuse me if it was difficult to read).

Devs please add way to shoot as soon as you release ADS on the Sniper disregarding whether you're fully scoped in or not.

I know this is possible with the Hip fire on sniper and hold to scope but I find it cumbersome even with my 4 finger claw. I've always played with ADS and release to fire on the DLQ/Arctic but I cannot do quickscopes without scoping in completely.
We can cancel the ads by pressing the cross/close scope on the other side, but please make the sniper shoot as soon as you release the ADS irrespective of whether we are fully scoped in or not.
Even if you won't default this, please add an option to do this.

Is anyone else experiencing extreme latency in joining ranked matches? This started for me last night and is continuing today. The wait time continues and I’m never joining the match no matter how long I wait. It doesn’t happen at all in basic matches, just ranked.

Also, I’m in the US ....not sure if that could impact the issue.

How to improve my quickscopes?

I play on iPhone 7 and been practicing my snipes and it's so hard for me to quickscope. I press the shoot button and it automatically ADS and I release but the process is so slow for me. I've tried HawksNest's sensitivity for quickscoping and it still is too slow. How do I quickscope faster?

Stage 2 team with a difference

2 of us are looking to play in stage 2 of the championship but are under no illusions that we have much chance of making it through.
Both recently reached legendary and on the Western Europe server, looking for people that maybe weren’t going to bother because they don’t want to let anyone else down.

To be clear, I don’t think I’m any good. Neither of us are great on call outs. Sometimes unable to use VC in game (but can always hear).
I’m not young and the reactions aren’t what they once were. If I play bad or do something dumb I don’t need to be called names - life’s too short.

We’re just looking to take part and have fun without the pressure of playing in a sweaty team.

Would prefer not to be team owner but will do it if no one else wants to.

I'm thinking about starting a Call of Duty Mobile YouTube channel where the main focus of my content will be honesty. I feel like a lot of the current YouTubers are too good, and play very differently when compared to the average player.

Skill level of Mobile players vs Console

Yo! So I want to see how the community feels about the skill level and fun factor of mobile. On console I'm pretty terrible. My kdr is like 0.3 and in Warzone I've cracked top 10 about four times only. On mobile I'm like God tier good. I love it. I've logged about 40 hours and have come in first in battle Royale a number of times. In Hardpoint I routinely get 40+ kills with only a couple deaths.

I even got my 7yo daughter playing on the iPad and dude she's tough man! She can hang with me in battle Royale and she's a great squad leader. Even at her skill level she's dominating matches. But like me, she's terrible on console lol.

I've never really taken a mobile game seriously but man this game is fun.

So I guess my question is, where are all the skilled players? We play BR almost exclusively but it's rare to run into players that can tell up from down. Is there a game mode that's considered really hard because all the good players are there?

Ferg uploaded a video saying "all leaks" and all videos before are also about leaks and drag out the video about ONE or a few leaks. So now he is slowly becoming triz by making multiple videos on leaks and then uploading a "all leaks" video after milking the subject to death.

Parker too, I've noticed a pattern of him doing the same thing like Ferg, stretch out the video and profit.

Only good YouTubers are murdablast and Hawks, bobby imo, they value your time mostly. Murdablast literally can sum up fergs multiple videos to 5mins tops.

It's good that Ferg isn't as clickbaity as he used to be, just disappointing that he doesn't stand with any of his subs or the community. He will buy crates and Lucky draws as long as he makes profits off of it in the name of "content"

If he is out of content then he can make a video about it, not milk the leaks in multiple videos and then make a all leaks video. He makes money off of multiple channels. Have you seen how many ads are in his streams? Jesus Christ.

Please developers could analyze the possibility of removing a part of the mountains from the map and expanding the cities, adding taller buildings and adding more details on the buildings and streets to give a city realism and thus make the game more alive and with less open areas. and empty in battle royale, because I see that cities are very small and lifeless.

Clans, should I join one?

So I’ve been playing about a month now. Been doing pretty good. Got first in BR four times and got my first legendary weapon a couple days ago. But the community seems to be a little detached from the game play (typical RPG’s have the chat flowing through the game, where this has chat in the lobby only...and it’s a little sparatic).

So how can I find out which clan is good for me or if I should even join one? I’m strictly a controller/iPad based player. I tried the ‘claw’ on the iPad and tried on the phone but I am a much much better player using the controller (and it’s much more satisfying to play as well). I don’t want to join a clan that has an expectation I am a touch player only.

Anyway, any tips you can give me to join a clan would be great! This forum seems to have the best group for advice when playing.

Hi, I recently bought a generic controller for my iPhone (Amazon link) and it doesn't seem to be able to connect when I go to controller setting in the codm app even though the Bluetooth works. Maybe I just got a shitty controller. Has anyone had any success with generic phone controllers like this one? And if so, how did you get it to connect?

Also, I know that official Xbox One/PS4 controllers work. But do offbrand XOne/PS4 controllers work as well? Official controllers are such a ripoff smh.

I don't mean to be rude, but is it bad that I think I need a refund on a skin if it doesnt have a voice sound?

Hello all, I've been talking on every community update for 4 weeks asking why does my spectre geist skin doesnt have voice lines at all on battle royale and only 2 or 3 in mp and still no answers.

So my point is, if you buy something and it came broken you should be able to get a refund. I bought the spectre geist bundle because I liked how it looks and how it sounds yet its been one month and no response and not sound.

Also please, before downvoting this. Provide me a valid answer because I'm just looking for a valid reason on why I should be able to receive a refund on something that I bought "broken"

you still lose many points than you earned it like wtf even if you are the mvp and earn +25 points but if you lose and you're in the bottom scoreboard you get -27 points like wtf even if you're third or second and win you can just get +18 or 16 points like wtf dude it's so unfair.

Random RM sucks...

Done with it for this season. Whatever algorithm they are using to match up players needs to be fixed. I've played 15 games today, mostly HP (shit) and DOM (double shit) and lost 12 of them. I'm a Master V being paired with players who obviously don't play up to their level. It's a waste of time and since the asshole devs insist on not only rewarding the winners but also fucking the losers, even if your damn team is down to three players. I'm quitting while I'm ahead.

This game needs a lot of work. The further it advances the weirder and worse it gets. I don't expect much for Season 7, more fucked up outfits, bizarre and worthless skins, weapons that allow inferior players to score well (probably why the pairings in RM are fucked up), and more money grabbing nonsense.

I started playing the game yesterday and like any new player I started looking up stuff about it. One thing I found was you were able to do an event for the KN-44 and Prophet. I went to look for the Event and couldn’t find it, I also checked in the store to maybe see if it cost coins. I couldn’t find it in either place. Help please

I’m pro 3 level 135 and I still haven’t gotten my nuke my last 2 medals are the ones to do with the nuke any tips on ways to get it? I mainly like to rush people and go with an AR or Lmg sometimes a sniper and class ideas?

Tasks on certain maps unobtainable

Hey guys,
Really enjoy this game, but when the tasks / missions require you to play a certain mode on a certain map it should be more prominent of a map or be qued more often.

I qued into capture the flag and after 46 matches finally got Rust.. now I need to play it 4 more times, this makes it really really difficult and luck based more so than skill based.

Can’t hurt enemies when joining a match in progress

Hopefully this happens to other people and not just me:

Every time I join a match that’s already started, my bullets can’t hurt enemies for the first few seconds, but enemies sure can hit me. It’s especially annoying in Domination, because I spawn on the enemy’s side and I can’t save myself or kill them.

Delayed touch reaponse

Anyone notice delayed touch response in call of duty mobile. I use a Samsung galaxy Note 10 snapdragon variant and I run on high settings. It fluctuates. I used to get a smooth game play on very high settings. Just recently it began to lag even on high.

Is CODM banning people playing on emulators now?

So I've been playing CODM for a month or two now on Memu Play Emulator. Mostly because my group of friends don't have a computer setup like I do, they play a bunch of mobile games. When they play ranked games I try to keep up but most of the time I decline since it's just not right to play a ranked game against mobile players when I'm on PC, imo it's like I'm just cheating. I know that I have an unfair advantage over others, but this is the only way I can play with my friends. My phone's really not up to the task so this is the only way I can socialize with my friends and enjoy life. I mostly play MP and fun game-modes, but I play BR sometimes when my friends invite me over. I know that BR is a ranked game, so I avoid it as much as possible. I got a 24 hour ban last June 6 12:08 am, I didn't think much of it since it does make sense given how odd my gameplay would seem for a "mobile player". Maybe I was mass reported for hacking, or something else idk. I logged back in on June 8 (I forgot what time it is) and saw that the ban was lift so I decided to play a Hardpoint match. My team lost the game and decided to play some other game in the meantime since I confirmed that the ban was actually lifted. Now just 30 minutes ago I logged back in since my friends were inviting me for a Kill Confirmed game just to mess around, to my surprise I was banned again but this time it's a week long ban (June 15 6:00pm) (#15035). I'm not sure if I'm getting banned because I use emulators or if people are suspecting that I'm hacking (well tbh me playing on emulators kinda is), but I can assure you that I'm not using any other form of hacking tools (x-ray, aim-bot, map-hack etc) nor is my name offensive/racist (papibear939).

This post is not intended to be an appeal nor is it a hate/rage post since I understand if CODM is banning people playing on emulators now, I just want to clarify if it is indeed a bannable offense. I'm more than happy to oblige to step off playing CODM until I can get a better phone.

Claw players

Playing against 4-finger/6-finger claw players really gets overwhelming sometimes. It makes me feel bad about myself and makes me wanna stop playing the game. I cant get my fingers to get used to claw but I worked hard and got used to a 3 finger set up and that's it for me. I don't think I can learn 4 finger its just too awkward for me. Learning 3-finger claw improved me a bit and I get around 20 kills almost every game around 9000 in Legendary. However, 1 match with 4/6 finger claw players ruins my entire gaming session. Its just so overwhelming the way they move, it's too much. Feels bad man :(

Is anyone experiencing frame drops lately?

For mp its constant once the game started if its low it goes all the game thru for br depends on the actions more like lag spikes but frame drops hard even when the announcer talks its not the device issue or connection it isn’t always happening
