Axe or knife? Stats comparison

Most of us here have watched hawksnest's videos, so we all know that the in-game stats are inaccurate, sometimes ridiculously so. So my question is, which melee weapon is better: axe or knife? According to the stats, axe has a longer attack range, slower mobility and slower fire rate. Knife is faster but has less range. However after playing a few matches with both axe and knife, im really not sure if this is true. Anyone would like to share their opinion on axe vs knife?

{Quantum/Zero} is a clan started recently where we play CODM daily and are planning to participate in the tournament!

To All those Legendary "EPIC s1" players who're complaining about Ranked being too Easy : Why don't you live and Let live ?!

I've seen a lot of posts complaining about this, but If you think you're so good, and your comrades don't "Deserve" t be in Legendary: Then Why don't you let your godly skills talk for themselves on the battlefield ?! Also, everyone claiming about S1, I agree it was hard, but many people joined the game late too: Here's my Idea - I agree the Ranked points system should be changed, but not reverted back to S1 ... hear me out- They should remove the rank assistance systems(like x2 XP on weekends) , Solo Shield, etc. Currently, grinding to legendary while trying to get better is a goal many casual players and students(who can't play for like more than an hour a day) like me want to achieve, and this keeps the player base coming back for more - making it wayy harder will dishearten them and make them leave the GAME for being too ' difficult '. Also, I'm in no way saying that total noobs should be able to rank up so much, that's why the rank system changes I mentioned above... Getting to Legendary has improved my skills in the game A LOT, and I can successfully 1v4 my friends who haven't touch ranked since they joined... I'm just telling everyone to stop whining about " LEGENDARIES THEN, LEGENDARIES NOW" and prove your skills in the Field... S1 Legendaries are usually better than other legendaries sometimes, but there's no point in belittling other players for that sake...

How to change your name for free

A lot of people don't really know this so I thought I'd share it with you all to maybe help you out.

  1. Go to your profile and click on the icon to change your name and enter the name you want to change it to.
  2. When it asks you to purchase rename card, confirm.
  3. The price will be given in COD points but there will be an option to change it to credits. It costs 1000 credits.
  4. Use the 1000 credits to buy a rename card and use it to change your name.

Did they secretly nerf the DLQ-33?

I've not used it in like 2 months but I'm using it now. I feel like it isn't that good than what I remember it being. I'm getting a lot of hitmarkers in the chest, abdomen or even head sometimes. Even if I shoot the enemy behind a headglitch (where only his head is seen), I would get a hitmarker. I thought it's because I was using a surpessor so I removed it but still nothing seems to work. My ping was normal as well (50-60ms). Is this only me or anyone else is facing this same problem?

Release a free Seraph skin!

Every since I have played BO3 I have fallen in love with Seraph.
I still love her abilities to this day, but I can’t get a seraph skin because it is locked behind a paywall. Hopefully in later seasons there will be a free skin in the free track.
Also, if Activision sees this, the free skin will have her Cowboy hat. (It adds coolness to her)

Sound related stuff

So devs added two new gun sounds, AK47 and M4 respectively. There's also new death sound effect. I wanna say rather than doing small changes to sound likr two guns at a time, thry should do it for every gun they've new sound for. Also any other sounds they wanna add they should do it like at same time in like a one sound patch update. This would be good compared to two new gun sounds every season. Thank you devs!!!

Playing in legendary rank.

Yesterday I became a legend in codm. And I must say... I found the ranked game mode much more fun in ranks like master 3 or 4. Now don’t get me wrong I do have the skill to keep up with low level legendaries. But I liked the master ranks more just because it felt less sweaty there. And it felt like you were just playing for fun, not so that you won’t have to be ashamed of your K/D. Anyone else?

5 differences between MP Legendaries and BR Legendaries.

The difference between MP Legendaries and BR Legendaries are stark in terms of skill. Here are a few.

1: MP Legendaries on average have better gun skill. If you don't have complete mastery over a certain gun, you will get run over, whereas with BR Legendary, you don't necessarily have to be that proficient with a certain gun to get kills.

2: MP Legendaries, believe it or not, have slightly better positioning than BR Legendaries, in my opinion. In MP, if you don't have the right positioning, you will almost certainly die. MP Legendaries also usually have more aggressive positioning, while BR Legendaries tend to take more passive positioning. I don't play BR that much, so if someone can list why, that would be absolutely fabulous.

3: MP Legendaries are orientated more for closer range fights rather that shooting from 100 metres onwards. Likewise, BR Legendaries are perfectly fine with longer range engagents, but tend to do not as well as MP Legendaries when it comes to closer range fights.

4: MP Legendaries value HP. A lot. In MP Legendary ranked, if one guy gets down to one shot in Domination, the push he is part of has a lower chance of succeeding as he has to stay behind to regen health or he dies while pushing, so the enemies pushing party (as in group) may be able to take B, potentially losing you the game. The amount of difference that 90-99 HP can make is astounding. It doesn't even have to be a pick off the start or 'down to one shot', it all matters. In BR, if you get hit hard, the most you have to deal with is replacing your armour, the guy who dinked you, If you have meds, forking out time to regen, and if you don't, finding some. BR is all in all less forgiving than MP.

5: MP Legendaries movement is a lot better than most BR Legendaries. If you move out at the wrong time, you will get shot at. Push out a tad bit too soon? Again, get shot and die. Reload at the wrong place at the wrong time? Die. Put yourself at the wrong angle? Die. There is also the advanced movement lots of Legendary players l...

EVERYONE HAVING SERVER PROBLEM ?

Most of the time ; even I have a Stable & Fast Internet ; the game takes too much time to start ; that means the Loading Assests & FB login takes too long. After the login ; the main lobby of the games keeps showing connecting to server. Or sometimes waiting and waiting . This not only happens to me but also my 3-4 friends. Hello All,

I'm certain you all have read and know what to expect in 2nd qualifiers for CODM World Competition 2020. Ignore this post if you already recognize this.

Nevertheless, for those who have not yet formed teams please note an important requirement.

You need 6 players. That's correct, you must have a team of 6 and not 5.

The structure of the team will be:

1 x Leader (guy taking decisions)
4 x Players
1x Substitute (not playing, but there in case something occurs to one of the players who is playing)

For a total of 6 players!

Yes, things could vary. But for now, this is the structure.

I know there's lots of videos out there but for those who have not yet made the teams, please keep the above in mind when forming teams.

Is the DragonFire any good? Can someone explain how it works please?

I’ve got enough credits to get (for example) the DragonFire, but although it sounds interesting, is it actually any good?

How high is its score streak cost?

I hear it can show infrared images of your enemies, but is that only while you are piloting it, or after as well? Is it only enemies the DragonFire can see from the air, or those in buildings too? Could I use the DragonFire, and then shoot through walls at the infrared images using the Annihilater ?

How hard is it to fly?

What are it’s projectiles like? Are they hard to use, explosive or one shot? Is the DragonFire useful against snipers?

Too many cheaters or not enough?

I’ve seen more and more of them in br, in pub matches,and in ranked. I bet they are cheating so hard they are cheating in zombies and you can’t even play zombies right now. I got shot while flying fast in br with a sniper...a headshot brought me down to 7 hp when I had 150 plus lvl 3 armour! Then after healing he was hitting 100% of shots with an AR at 250m. Other times in a random ctf or free for all pub game I’m getting destroyed by aimbot insta kill headshots through walls.

What do you think?

MP and Ranked quitters

I've had a lot of rage quitters during my time playing the game. I'm currently Level 150 and Master 2. As of right now, you only get a penalty for leaving a Ranked match in progress. And even then only the quitter gets punished. In ranked, do you guys think that if anyone rage quits, the people that are left on the game don't get any Rank XP deducted for a loss. Also, the quitter should not only get a Ranked timeout, but also have a certain amount of Rank XP taken away from him/her. For MP however, let me know what you guys think should happen to them?

STAGE 2 QUALIFIERS, NORTH AMERICA. (Sorry for posting another thread!)

Greetings, as many people are, I am looking for a group of 4-6 who qualified for the stage 2 team up qualifier. It would be pretty cool to get that championship skin.

Looking for a mature group, NORTH AMERICA, who will try their best and be on time for planned games. I don’t care much about your rank, somewhere near mine I suppose is best, but I don’t want anyone who trashes their own team. We do 30 ranked matches together; whatever happens happens.

I am current rank Legendary with around 7000 rank xp in MP. I qualified 3/4 weekends personally. Master ranks are WELCOME, Legendary preferred of course. I would rather play with intelligent people than loogans, but know we’ll likely be matched with Legendary opposition.

I am not in a rush, registration BEGINS the 12-14th of June, ideally we play around 7ish matches a day. It’s plausible the most hardcore players will be registered and playing their hardest on the first day; arriving “fashionably late” may prove advantageous.

I can't hear footsteps of enemies approaching...but on kill cam i can hear mine loud and clear. People seem to know exactly where I'm I unlike me. Rarely the sound just goes off i hear nothing

Best way to punish rank quitters

I'm gonna tell you the best way to punish those rank quitters. CSGO has this feature where a person gets 10 min cooldown for quitting a competitive match and cooldown time will increase if he quits more matches in a row. Sometimes, cooldown may even reach 1 week.

I feel this is the best way to punish those rank quitters and protect those guys who's game crashed at the same time.

What do you think about it?

So what more people are going to be in legendary, doesn't devalue the title, getting to legendary was easy in the first place, just use guns in the meta and easy win.

Don't shit on other players for getting to legendary this season, rank mostly doesn't mean anything in skill, unless it's a actual difference like rookie and legendary, but master and legendary? Not a difference because your paired with master players.

Solo shield hasn't even been around for a week and the season is almost over, only people that are able to make it to legendary are the ones in master IV or V with extra effort.

Let alone, most people aren't even going to try to be in legendary rank because of the sweaty tryhards.

Don't complain about something purely good for everyone's benefit, just makes you a crybaby if you complain about it.

Here is an open invite for people looking for an active COD Mobile clan that is both casual and a little competitive. There really is no time commitment besides being an active clan member (no scrimms etc). I wanted to remove the stigma clans have of being too “elitist” etc. As for history of our clan, we were a pretty competitive clan in Rules of Survival, but my friends and I from high school have transferred over to COD Mobile.

Dear Activison/Tencent...would you please FINALLY add new ranks and a prestige system to Call Of Duty Mobile?!!

This season has lasted over two months now and players in the leaderboards have past the 100K mark in terms of ranked points. Don’t you see that a new rank system is REQUIRED??

You only need 6.5K ranked points in order to get to legendary whilst people at this point inside of the season have double to 15 times as much of those points.
There have been so many low skilled players who reached the legendary rank now until the point where being a legendary isn’t valuable at all anymore, the legendary rank only had a value inside of season 1, where only highly skilled people made it into legendary (excluding cheaters) please fix this ASAP!!!

Also pretty much everyone who’s been playing actively for at least more than one month has reached level 150, thus we need a prestige system too!!!

I am aware that you have been working on concepts of a prestige system but it’s just taking far too long!! At this point of season 6 the majority of highly skilled players are just bored and only play the game either because they need to maintain their spots inside of the leaderboards or because of tourneys and scrims.

Apart from that there are also various bugs with hitboxes/corpses of opponents, data of private lobby rooms (scrims -> black screens), the game just crashing while playing on the newest iPhone, your servers being unstable and other stuff...

Please don’t get me wrong... I genuinely respect your work and efforts, especially since I have absolutely no idea of what it takes to run a game (as big as codm is) successfully....

But please....

Skip button of final killcam

No one want to waste time on reviewing final killcam, 90% are bad aiming sight, they only shoot feet or edge of the target then adjusted by AI.

It's quite silly to view such awful moment at the every end of game and should've been skipped by adding a button to skip, I'd rather see loading page, plus the killcam takes up resource to render the image, in contrast loading page is more resource friendly and could speed up your game.

We demand compensation because the update was delayed, even credit card company is not hesitant to charge you interest when you failed to pay your amount due on time, you have no reasons not to pay your bills even you are in grieving, so why not the developers do that also? Since assigning myself the Slayer role my K/D has doubled

Not just doubled but win rate has doubled as well in solo que usually. Soloing I always thought I have to play objective only. I'm a phone guy and never was a great rusher and no patience to camp. I'm good at guarding B routes and especially good at HP routes. Now I'm having more fun than I ever had in ranked. I figure I would give it a week and actually think I'm a better player than originally thought. In my eyes at least. I'm usually top fragging now. While I don't have a Ferg type K/D I can do 25/7s and so on like that. So is this selfish or is this what I should have been doing from the get go. Being the Slayer and not letting the opponents get near B/C/Hardpoints and let my teammates cap?

Hello kids welcome again , so i know you are reading this right now i am here to tell condition of this subreddit firstly i want to say codm subreddit on nutshell because of whiny kids they hate devs because they won't give them cp for fake stories and whine for exclusive items in game day by day the whiny kids are increasing and f2p obviously upvote them so they can whine more things , and these kids always have problem with game they cannot wait they cannot enjoy the update or anything they always see one thing is free cp and they lick triz ass for it but in return they get back to this subreddit and cry .

The second type of people i have seen i made 3-4 posts about pdw nerf coz it really need nerf i saw many campers with shit normad druid skin camping with pdw , pdw is like mini rpd it has 50 bullets it has less and control able recoil and it really suck if you say something about pdw definitely whiny kids and pdw spammers&campers gonna downvote you to hell

The third type of people i seen , they are also kids who hates every youtuber including freg and other famous youtubers like what's there problem with us? Did have some personal hostility? Why almost everyone hate YouTubers here? If you don't like ignore us? And even you complain about we have YT in our name , so tell me one thing why do you care? Should the m4 buff be applied in br as well?

I usually go with the m4 and 117 or switch one or the other out for the 47. The lower damage of the m4 is just too much of a negative compared to the 117, I know it’s suppose to have higher accuracy/less recoil but it’s really unnoticeable.

I feel like if the fire rate buff came to br it would give it a huge boost.

I'm having too much of spare time, and so do my teammates. Recently we've been talking about BR class and stuff, and we came out with the following ideas. You may share ur thoughts if u want to. Who knows, given the possibility that CoD team really read the posts (as u/official_cod_mobile says), if they consider something...

Without further ado:

#SENTINEL

This class is meant to provide Tactical equipment to teammates whilst defending from enemies' tactical equipments as well. It's meant to play in a "defensive role".

----- DEFENSE TOWER: Active skill. Calls in a mid sized tower (kinda the size and animation of calling a Sentry Gun), which carries a box with some Granades (Serial Bomb, Smoke, Concussion, EMP granade, Cluster Granade u know... This sort of stuff), and has a trophy system ontop of it. This skill will shoot against enemies' incoming AI and throwables.

----- TACTICAL ENGINEERING (?): Passive skill. Reduces duration of effects caused by enemies' tactical granades. Able to throwing granades a little further, and Allies that use the toolkit of defense tower will receive a small armor repair.

[UPGRADE]: increases the defense radius of the tower, enhances the reduction of tactial effects and enables the amor repair (armor restores it's durability something up to 15%?).

#MALWARE

This is supposed to be more of a anti-Tracker class, and a sort of Intel stealer.

------ HACKING DEVICE: Active Skill. It has a similar device we use to scan dogtags. When this ability is used, it deactivate "mechanic" equipments (Anything that can be Driven or do have AI), and turn it to friendly¹ for a couple of seconds. Can be used against target near the ground only (max height being an church's tower I guess).

------ INTEL LEAKER (?): Passive skill. Hacks the radar, providing almost all information related to it: Next Safe zone, Next Airdrop's trajectory, Next revival Flight. Reduces the effectiveness of tracking skills². This passive also enhances the Dogtag scanning speed.

I know that I will get a lot of hate for this post but I have to say this.

How the fuck are you Master 5 if you don’t even know how to shoot a gun.

How can you not know how to play search and destroy, it’s so easy, follow the person with the bomb to the bombsite and plant it there. You see, not so fucking hard. How come I get into matches with such horrible players and the other team plays like pros. How the hell does that happen. Ranked is in my opinion unplayable because of the complete bots.

Ranking up is way too easy in this game.

Purchased CP by accident, please help

I purchased hardcore pack by accident, I really can't afford to spend that money. I tried contacting google support, they said refund is not possible because it is out of their policy. They suggested me to contact developer. Activision has a chat contact option but that opens up at 11 am PT and closes at 8 pm PT, now if we convert this to my time zone which is EST it is 11:30 in the night to 8:30 in the morning. Plus the chat is always busy, I am trying since 2 hours and the only thing that I am getting is "all our executives are buy please try later". Game crashes and severe lag

Has anyone else had significant issues with lag and your game crashing since the event for the last week started. Ive been having horrible lag and frequent game crashes with it. I attempted to play on mobile date instead of WiFi and it met with the same result. I play on an IPhone 7 with all the minimum settings for graphics and whatnot. I have no idea why this is happening so severely to me but it does not appear to be linked to my internet and my phone has performed excellent prior to this. Is there anything I can do on my part, had anyone else had similar issues ?

Tips on completing the Top 10, no kills challenge in Ranked BR?

I’ve done all the other Seasonal challenges, but I’ve been stuck on the Survival of the Fittest challenge, specifically getting into the top 10 with no kills. I just played a round trying to complete this challenge, and I threw a smoke grenade at someone while trying to distract them and run away, but they died when it hit them and it gave me the kill (which I think is quite funny.) However, I would really appreciate any tips you guys have! Thanks so much!

About the polls I made

Some of you may have seen some polls asking which guns were the best out of the given items. What I was trying to do was to find the best gun for each type is gun (f2p only so no krm or hbr), but gauge it off what the community collectively said instead of just a couple YouTubers. Favorite Assault Rifle/SMG & Why? (Attachment preferences optional!)

I would like to know your personal preferences and why? Maybe I’m not exploring enough with the different weapons! I traditionally use DL-Q33, and for assault I’m digging the AK117 as a safe bet when playing ranked matches. RUS for smaller maps. I’m also obsessed with FMJ attachment. - could this be my mistake? Is it me or is there something wrong with FFA this season? I don’t remember being spawned right in the middle of the enemy pretty much every time. I mean, literally, I spawn and I’m being shot at the same time. Playing with a silencer and Dead Silence perk and I’m like a magnet for other players. Weird....

Ranked modes and Matchmaking?

I would like to know why can't we choose which mode to play on in ranked? S&D is basically a team deathmatch with extra steps and i don't really care about Hardpoint since it's basically the same with Domination. Both those modes are almost the same like the other two. Of course that's just a personal preference but the question still remains, why can't i choose to stick with the one i like?

Also i would like to ask about the mm system. Does one actually exist? It feels like the skill gap of the players is too high, basically completely random. I see a 140 lvl player playing like it's their first day in the game and then i see a level 35 player playing like they are John Wick on his revenge trip. The levels are also too far apart from each other in the teams while their levels are in no way representing the skill of a player.

I primarily play BR but i would still like to progress through the MP ranks for the rewards and i am just curious to find out about those two things. Why did they make it so we can't choose a mode and if an actual mm system exists. If anyone knows then i would appreciate a response!

Non-meta Guide - LOADOUTS

Bored in Quarantine so I thought I’d make a series of guides to help anybody fighting the good fight. These guides will be independent of the meta, and so hopefully should be applicable past s4 and beyond. So without further ado:

In CODMobile, we currently have a maximum of 5 loadouts, which is it a lot less than in other editions meaning we have to be much more careful in our choice:

The Four Styles of Loadouts:

Class Based

Two AR + One SMG + One LMG + One Sniper
The LMG slot can be replaced by a second SMG, or a Shotgun depending on the meta, the other guns within your loadouts, or your personal playstyle.
ARs are the most versatile class and taking two will already cover a wide range of needs. The sniper will cover large or open maps, and the SMG will cover very fast paced games where an AR may struggle to keep up, the final loadout slot is up to personal preference.
Rating: 6/10. This is a really basic way to separate your loadouts and problems will crop up when it comes to tailoring for different game modes or playstyles, especially in metas that demand specific perks or secondaries. SSDD.

Mode based

One General TDM, One Domination, One SnD, One Hardpoint, +leftover (typically sniper)
Tailored to your playstyle within each gamemode. Allows for specificity in terms of perks and non-gun equipment, as well as operator skills.
TDM loadout would include a reliable AR with balanced perks and equipment, not too invested in rushing or objective play.
Domination and Hardpoint would be similar with either
+hyper aggressive loadouts (SMG + Perks focused on winning gunfights, increasing mobility, and evading detection)
+defensive loadouts (Weapon with low midrange TTK, good magazine size, controllable recoil + Perks focused on area control, protection against enemy equipment and flankers)
Rating: 7/10. Pretty reliable and effective, with the only problem being it’s not very adaptable to different maps or the different speeds of an individual game ...

Hacked on the map Saloon mod 1x1

The guy made supersonic movements, movements out of the ordinary in the game, and at times he would crawl around on the floor, it looked like he had a rope pulling him.
I was unfortunately not recording the match, however, I already reported it in the game itself and I hope something is done!

I didn't take ranked seriously... Played to maser for the MoW and then only played qualifiers. I've somehow managed to make it to master V in 1 day thanks to the new rank system. Is there enough time to grind to legendary?

Sniper as secondary?

Playing a casual game tonight using a sniper rifle. I ran out of bullets so picked up another player's loadout. He had an assault rifle as primary and sniper as secondary. Is that possible or did I swap my secondary for his primary? 🤔🧐

  • Must fill in an application form and go through a try-out. Once your application is accepted, you'll be able to try-out (not before then). And only when your try-out is a success, you’ll be able to join the clan.
  • Must be willing to change IGN once accepted into the clan so that it bears the clan tag: TZTx

Anyone else feel like certain classes win more?

I have been killed in certain matches by poltergeist classes even after unloading full clips over and over. I have full health, v3, purple weapons, i hear my shots hitting, and they still kill me because it’s the latest class. I feel like it’s for people to feel like that’s the class they should use and have. Complete bs

Domination neutralization

You guys think adding the neutralization feature like they have in Call of Duty League into dom would make it more interesting or better overall? For those that don't know if you neutralize an enemy flag it means that the enemy is no longer earning points for the flag, but you don't either until you secure/cap it.

Screen Mirroring

Let's face it, the posture while playing games on the phone is super unhealthy.

So my Idea was to screen mirroring the game on my pc monitor and use the phone as the Controller.

My question is, is this bannable? Since I am not using Smart view from Samsung for example, but a third party programm instead for the zero delay.

How do I turn around faster?

Bundles is much better options

Ever since the introduction of bundles I've actually spent more money on this game than previously. In the past it would have been the battle pass only and a couple of pulls on the lucky draw for a specific gun I wanted.

Now with bundles I am happy to buy the pack as it's set price and better value than the gamble crates.

Hope you can take this feedback and release more new epic guns in bundles such as hbras3.

Keep your crates for legendary guns?

Crashing when viewing legendary guns/loadout

i don't know the reason for thia, but back then it's not an issue but after the outlaw update. i crash when viewing legendary guns like cordite, and now type 25 vengeance. i bought it and now i can't play because i can't change the loadout in the main menu. i keep crashing because of the type 25 legendary 😔 any help would be appreciated, thanks.
