Hey everyone,

Since the Seasonal Events have been extended until Tuesday evening (6/9/20) EST, there's still time to grind for the free Cordite if you haven't already. As someone who finished the event (and kind of hated it) I have some advice for those who haven't yet completed it.

Please leave additional suggestions in the comments, or let me know if you have questions and I can try to answer them (but I'm just a casual player who likes the game).

###Background

If you complete the "Gunslinger" Seasonal Event focused on the 1v1 Duel Mode you are awarded with the free Cordite-- a high fire-rate, long-range SMG that has taken over the meta in pro scrims. Here are the tasks you must complete (in this order-- you must completely finish one before you can start chipping away at the next):

  • Kill 30 enemies in 1v1 Duel Mode
  • Kill 15 enemies with shotguns in 1v1 Duel Mode
  • Kill 15 enemies with sniper rifles in 1v1 Duel Mode
  • Win 5 matches in 1v1 Duel Mode
  • Kill 10 enemies with pistols in 1v1 Duel Mode
  • Win 10 matches in 1v1 Duel on Saloon Map

1v1 Duel Mode is best-of-three rounds, with each round being decided by whoever gets to five kills first. Therefore, the maximum amount of kills you can get in a match is 14 (5,4,5).

There are no score streaks or operators.

You are briefly invincible upon respawning. In the first round, you will have your main gun, secondary gun, a lethal grenade, and a tactical grenade. The loser of the first round gets to pick the weapon type in the second round: assault rifles; SMGs, LMGs, snipers, shot guns, pistols, rpgs, or melee). Loser of the second round gets to pick the gun type for the third round, if the players are tied 1-1. For main weapon types, you will still have access to your secondary gun. For pistols, rpgs, melee, those are the only weapons you have access to.

When the weapon type is selected for round 2 and round 3, you will have a few seconds to pick a pre-populated loadout. For example, if shotguns are selected, you will have a choice between every shot ...

Where can I find a good 4 finger claw’s setting?

I learned how to play with three fingers and it’s really useful; specially for sliding and jumping while shooting, but playing legendary ranked was still really challenging, specially because I still use the ads mode. So I decided to play with four fingers, but my right hand is not adapting as well as my left hand did. Also, I shoot while jumping pretty often with my previous setting, but with the settings I’ve tried with 4 fingers don’t allow me to do that, only to dropshot. So I’m still looking for a good setting that a can adapt for the new season.

I'm new, level 18. And I got my ass beat with a squad running S&D. I don't wanna play that shit. Nobody should the mode is terrible. It's been like that in every COD. Seems it's worse on Mobile because I would shoot people, somehow miss, and then we lost the match like that. Last time I'll probably ever play S&D because it's for sweaty tryhards who've been playing the game since launch. I'm Lil_Slayyyz in game. And if you ever add me. Do not fucking EVER invite me to S&D. Since I've made this post, where it's a "warning to any potential buddies" if you're in the menu to go to search and destroy. Bad news for the chat filter

So we already know they censor words like "gun" and "sniper", but after the season 6 update, they weren't censored anymore.

However, as of now, they've been censored again. What gives? Why would they fix a problem, then immediately go back to square one? If I didn't know any better, I would say they were trolling us on purpose. We can only hope that it will be fixed when season 7 drops...

Will noise cancellation for comms be implemented for the game?

My friend's mic always causes the rest of the team's voices to be echoed. This is not to case when I don't play with him. When he lowers the volume, the echo is gone but that means playing the game without hearing important sounds like footsteps and gunshots(really important in BR since we play that alot)

I've been trying to find posts for this but I can't seem to find solutions. Help! How can one avoid echoing and will they ever implement noise cancellation for the comms? Like in discord?

Nuke in any game mode?

Random question. I was playing capture the flag a few hours ago and I check the leaderboard. I noticed I had 15 kills, 0 deaths and needed 5 more. I got 5 more. I got immediately killed but that shouldn’t matter, right? So does that mean that you can’t get a nuke in certain game modes? Someone please clear this up for me.

Update

I'm still taking a break but since I'm in the waiting room waiting to visit my grandpa I took a look at reddit and its filled with people getting heated by the delay but than I seen them all happy again just because they released a knife skin frames and a dlq skin. That's why they don't listen to the community because they know that if they just release a small event it would make the community happy again. And if anything complaining wouldn't help. Also I think delaying the update gives people more time to grind events grind a couple more tiers or even rank up. And if you guys really want the update to not get delayed so bad you could just flood the official Activisions Twitter instead of flooding reddit

Inverted y axis

I’ve been wanting to play with guys at work but since the game in touchscreen mode has no look inversion on the y axis (which is the only way I can play FPS) I have been unable to do so until now. I got a controller off Amazon called a Rotor Riot that allows look inversion. Just go to settings>controller>settings(yes again) with the controller hooked up, and lo and behold, there it is. Curious that the game doesn’t allow for it in touch screen, but the controller is an Xbox style anyway so it gives you more actual control. I mean you have to mount your phone to a full size console style controller, but you can play like a normal human being with it!

Why are kids left to play this game without adult supervision?

I 1v1 ed a legendary guy who was being toxic in the world chat from my alt account(rookie)

He came swearing to destroy me then left after he died 10 times saying his Internet wasn’t good

Then again in the world chat he started calling me a HACKER
Then camper(it was a rust match with SMGs )
And after that he goes “You stole my Pharo to kill me, you’re a cheater”

Sometime after I joined a private match where he was on the opposite team and the people he was name calling on my team

First we beat him in 3v3 then he got two more guys on his side and we beat him again in 4v5

At last he staterd his mic and turns out it was a kid (with squeaky voice) and was about to cry (seemed from his voice) he called everyone a hacker etc then bought a friend of his to take his side and left after a while

How are players crawling on the ground? The crawl while running and can’t be shot?

I don’t understand what’s happening. A player is running right towards me, lays on the ground without even slowing down, and then I try to shoot and nothing happens.
Is this some weird hack or just something I’m not aware of? I can crawl but I ya e to stop completely before doing so. I can’t lay down with a running start.

Pubg vs codm

Now i know this is controversial and it will anger a lot of codm fanatics, but there's no need for that and this is just a discussion and my personal opinion,so pls just comment about what you think of both games and keep it fun instead of hateful.
Ive played pubg for about 4 seasons it was before codm came out i loved pubg it was super great but i kinda got bored since it was just regular battle royale so i was excited about codm multiplayer,so i stopped playing pubg and started playing codm instead, ive been playing codm since it came out and i gotta say its a pretty good game,now codm beats pubg when it comes to cosmetics,skins,rewards,grindable items,modes, but i think pubg's gameplay is much better than codm,at first it was ok when the game just came out and there were lag issues and stuff like that,but its not ok to still have those problems after 7 seasons, there's lag issues, there's hit marks issues, and a lot of issues that make the game frustrating to deal with,the gameplay is the most important aspect of a game,and if its not balanced then it breaks the game completly,there are still bugs in the game currently from season one,the game crashes quite often, there are a lot of glitches,there are movement bugs and sound bugs,from a company this big I'd expect that everything would be fix after the first 3-5 seasons, but we still face issues that should have been long gone,i dont like pubg coz it didnt feel worth grinding for coz the rewards are pretty worthless tbh,but id prefer a game with a balanced gameplay and bad cosmetics over a game with broken gameplay and cool cosmetics.
I pass on the question to you now, whats your opinion on the matter?

We need CTF or Control for Ranked

So if CODM wants 4 game modes I don't see an issue with adding a 5th or eliminating the TDM junk from ranked.

Now comes the topic of Capture the flag or Control as that 4th or 5th competitive mode. Both have been established in the competitive world in previous years. If I'm not mistaken CTF was always a console ranked mode. Control replaced it 1 year and this past year only was CTF/Control removed.

I like both personally but CTF has worked previous years on some of our current maps. Standoff for instance is a CTF map. Either or both are much more strategic than TDM. Which still baffles me on why it's in ranked. I scratch my head everyday at that decision.

Also I would like to see Demolition or Sabotage game modes added. Some like the SnD concept but a difference of course in the modes.

One more thing. Why not add more maps to ranked instead of just the 7-8 maps. I would love to see a few of our maps added to Hardpoint or SnD. All they need to do is plan spawns appropriately.

They can make some ranked changes. It doesn't have to stay 100% like it is

Stop Blaming your teammate's

We should stop blaming your teammates if you lost a rank match cause maybe your teammate's are trying their best, if they can't play the obj is because they keep getting killed and not able to do anything....And if they quit a match they must have their own reason like they're parents is calling them or been asked to do something or maybe they're having a rough day and just want to play ranked but they aren't playing good so they quit the match.Yes sometimes our teammates are bad but we shouldn't blame them on everything

Cap the flag is sooo much fun lol. Like you're running away with enemie's gold hoping you don't die it's sooo much lol moment like you're scared but it's also fun when you just run from enemies or camp at a place enemies can't kill you lol. Zombie wishes and predictions

well on the topic of cod mobile..yes this post dose count for this sub reddit because it’s r/codMobile and mobile once had zombies but got removed due to it not being a “high enough quality” is what the official reddit account said on it.

So what I think on the pre-removal state of CODM zombies: it was a very very low quality as the reddit account said,zombie HP was godlike,Wonder weapons where strange,perks sucked and the PAP mechine was hot garbage not even boosting damage that high
The only 2 maps where KINO DER TOTËN and shangra-la?(swamp map I don’t remember the name for).

The survival was ok but was impossible around round 40 because the zombies HP system is strange and makes PAP wonder weapons (if you can even call them that) look like hot garbage

But the raid modes where the most fun...don’t need to explain

the current state of CODM zombies:
as the game mode is now “removed” the tab(for gear)and files for the mode are still in the game meaning they did not 100% remove it but just made it inaccessible.

What I hope to see when or IF it gets RE-added:
just more maps and a zombie HP rework,the maps that would be the most easy addable would be

Nuke town zombies,town,barn,bus stop all WAW maps and BO1 maps since (some) they are Small,fun to play and(some of the most) ICONIC maps and will bring more people and people who only got CODM will come/comeback and this will get the main company some more cash from downloads and purchase in game..olso VOYAGE OF DISPARE WOULD LOOK FUN HERE ^and ^tranzit ^lets ^not ^forget ^about ^the ^trash ^gem
And fuck die rise, die rise was just garbage...BUT they could make it not garbage if they wouldn’t have put all the fucking perks in the elevators ..big ass mistake on that

Trashed kid in a 1v1, get death threats

This morning i was talking in world chat someone invites me to their party. When i join, its a kid, sounds like he's around 7 years old. He immediately starts off with "ur fuckin garbage, i could beat ur ass in a 1v1" and just trash talks. I respond with "Lets 1v1 then." He uses the M4LMG and i only a knife, and i win 37-10. He then invites one of his friends and tells me to invite one of mine, so i go get my main, and we trash both of them pistols only. They rage quit and me and my homie r havin a laugh about it, when i get an invite. I accept and immediately invite my friend, and he has his friend there, and this is the conversation that follows(Me=Me, N=My friend, M=The kid, Mf=The kids friend.):
Me:Yea?
M:U guys r assholes!
Me and N:How?
Mf: cuz u beat us with pistols
Me(im getting annoyed):we were going easy on ur sorry ass. Dont trash talk when u can't beat average players when their only using pistols.

So i was playing CoD mobile at saloon 2vs2. One enemy left and a new guy come. We start loosing , not because of the other guy on opposite team, he wasnt that good. Im pretty sure that guy was hacker. He was standing at the corner, i shot him like 10 times with AK-47 and even his life bar didnt change . Then he kill me with one shot, even not head shot.

I hate people who have racist usernames but a 10 year ban? That's kinda harsh, maybe a 2 month ban cause by that time they would have changed their name.

I haven't seen a actual 10 year ban for a username tho, so hopefully no one got a ban for that long.

I get it they should've never used the name and they deserve to be punished I'm on board with that. If you spent like 500 or 2k on this game and get banned for a year+ that's just absurd.

I found the cause of the bug that causes sniper/marksman rifles to not fire!

I know I usually shit talk the developers about the bugs within the game but I’m here to help them.

I found out recently that the bug is triggered when a user attempts to fire the sniper/marksman rifle soon after tapping the ADS button to EXIT the scope.

I’ve only tested this with Artic .50, DL-Q33, Locus and Outlaw. All aforementioned weapons were using the default scope. (Other attachment options seem to not affect the bug)

I hope some devs see this and get on this bug!

Gravity spikes damage recieved testing results

(Not that accurate, first of all)
Close gravity spike result: 50%
Long range gravity spike result: 50%
Car gravity spike result 1: dead by car 30% - 40% excluding explosives damage
Car gravity spike result 2: 30%

Conclusion: Gravity spikes give 50% damage protection. However in the third test, it seems that the game cannot catch up. Resulting Damage Protection glitch where even using the skill 0.5 sec earlier would still take damage (the more action taken in same time, the more delay would it be)

Ranked is so gay

Why the fuck should I lose rank xp because I'm put on a trash team. Shit is so fucking annoying spending so much time to watch XP only to lose it because your team is shit. Plus we can no longer choose what game mode we want to play for ranked, so gay

Emulator Ignorance

Has anyone used an emulator? I'm trying to decide if I can use Bluestacks on my surface pro to play instead of buying an android tablet. I've read of people getting banned for using them. Codm says that they don't officially support them but says they'll match you with other emulator players. Any guidance or pros/cons would be appreciated.

Let's be honest here, when is the last time you have played cod in tpp before the Mobile?
Yeah, never.
The TPP option's sole purpose is to attract pubgm players.

Cordite is bugged

It may sound stupid but when i zoom out by pressing my aim button (since i use the ads button as my main fire button) to hip fire, it shoots a bullet then pauses for a millisecond, then thst’s the time it really sprays. My fingerpad is om the fire button

Ads button > aim button to zoom out for hip fire > shoots a bullet then pauses for a millisecond > then sprays

This sht doesn’t happen to other guns

Fix the goddamn buttons!

The purpose of the shoot button is to shoot, the scope in button to scope in and the sprint+crouch button to slide. So why the fuck do these not work properly? The shoot button just freezes randomly, the scope in button unscopes when you jump and you cant slide after shooting.

Why do some people hate camping so much? Camping with a default scope sniper is literally what snipers are supposed to do. Camping with LMGs are literally what MGs in a Warzone do. I have to admit, corner camping with an Acog sniper is annoying, but I got downvoted for saying that camping is legitimate and I don’t understand why.

I need teamates for the team round of the championship. I am currently master I in mp and although I like to main snipers I am a lot better with the icr1 so that's what I use for tough matches. My kd is 1.75 because I play the objective (no matter if I die a lot) and my accuracy is pretty good I have more than 25000 kills so I'd say I'm ok at the game.

I don't think I want someone a lot better than me because I don't want them to have carry me and for the team to not feel fair. Just dm me for more info.

Also is there any other way I could move forward in the tournament if I'm not 18? Thank you for taking the time from your day to read this

Black Screen While Playing BR

I've been playing COD Mobile since it's global launch on my Samsung M30 without any issues. A few days ago I started playing it on my new phone, Poco X2, and I have experienced this issue two times in a row. In the middle of a BR match my screen goes black, the audio gets cut off and I can't go back to the lobby or anything and I have to exit the app completely and open it again only to find myself dead out of the zone. Am I the only one experiencing this issue?

If you're using your perks on something else thst doesn't protect you from hunter killers,, equip the shiekd as your operator skill. It seems pointless but if a hunter killer drone is chasing you down, deploy the shield at the right time and you can destory the drone without dying

UVOTE TO HOPEFULLY INCREASE RUNNING SPEED AND MOBILITY

Give LMGS the mobility of ARs currently
Give ARs the mobility of Smgs currently
Give Smgs/pistol/melee very minimal boost, if any
Snipers have a really vast mobility so it's hard to say what to do, but they need some work too.

Running with a sniper/ar/lmg in Cod feels like when you're trying run to the bathroom with a turtle head sticking out, very uneasy and awkward... please help devs

How much do I have to spend reasonably?

Don't mind paying for my fun but some of these games are just abusive.

If I buy a battlepass, how many times do I have to keep repurchasing it? Hell, I don't even mind the premium one if they stop bugging me about it.

The MSMC needs to return to its former glory

MSMC really really needs a buff other than mobility. The pharo is better than the msmc pre nerf, and needs no skill to use. And they only nerf it's damage to the hands and legs, which really isn't anything. Yet not only do they significantly drop the msmc's ttk but make its recoil worse to the point where fights over 10 meters put you at a huge disadvantage. Msmc, however good it was before it got nerfed, had a skill cap and required controlling recoil. However the pharo only has vertical recoil and that can easily be controlled and it's getting a recoil buff next season as well. Adding variety to the meta would be great since it's dominated by assault rifles and smgs that are basicall assault rifles such as rus and cordite.

they have a ton of content they could have released, from the beginning. instead of making a cod game for mobile they didn't make a cod game. they made a shooter, copied black ops 2 maps (which im all good for if they made a Black ops 2 mobile.) They should add an extra rotating game mode in ranked which varies every couple of weeks. The extra game mode could include free for all, Capture the flag and Kill confirmed. Optionally they could make toggle-on.

I don’t know about you but I’m a 8k legendary player and the game has been kinda boring. I’m not F2P but I have been loving the free weapons. It’s just that non-ranked lobbies with bots are just not fun. It is way to easy, I have not enjoyed a game in the new CTF maps because I go 40/2 every game and there’s no question if I win or not, and that’s not me bragging. I have Master II friends who have the same problem. I think this would make a great add-on.

Quitting two public matches in a row will guarantee that you will be matched up against only bots the next game.

Most people probably already know this, since this has existed for quite some time now but I've never seen a post about this. It is a pretty good exploit for quickly completing challenges and missions that require you to either win or finish the game. Also good for anyone who wants to boost their k/d ration without having to purposely loose a match or for farming nuke medals although it does take away the fun of the game.

Ok I was just playing some ctf and we tied the first round, so I thought ok this is gonna be pretty close, which is fun but then this one guy on the other team gets a goliath and literally camps at his own spawn guarding the flag and we ended up losing cus he also got another right after. For example i see enemy for .20 seconds, i ads and before i can even raise my weapon im dead, but on the enemies killcam ive been standing there for 2 seconds?!?!?! Or how everyone else can magically jump, prone, sprint, and shoot all at the same fucking time??? Does anyone else struggle with 1v1?

I still have not gotten the Cordite, because I can't win 1v1. The lag is so bad, I just can't get enough kills. It's so bad that I basically have to kill my opponents, without them shooting me at all. If one bullet hits me, I die.

I mean don't get me wrong, I'm not a great player to begin with. However, I should be able to beat most of the people I'm playing against lately (now that most people aren't playing 1v1 anymore).

What your opinion on JHC?

Imo his videos really don’t stand out from others. We got Ferg, Noah, Greg and Godzly for gameplay. We got Hawk and Patho for guns and info. We got Murda and Slash for leaks. While we have those youtubers. JHC videos just doesn’t stand out among the videos. He pretty average in terms of MP and BR. His videos are also just meh. What your thoughts on him?
