Ranked matchmaking is kinda broken rn

I played like 12 ranked games, i got only 2 or 3 hardpoint, all the rest were tdm(not in a row) ....i hate tdm, im not saying rank selection is good or bad, thats a different topic, im sayin, since we r on random-random right now, atleast make the ods of getting all modes equal. Or just fckin remove tdm already and replace it with kill confirmed (with some balancing) or something else. Tdm is a trash mode, especially in small maps like summit.. spawns are a mess, no mater how good my game sense is, i always get killed from the back(which promotes camping). Also the spam of trip mines, grav spikes ..its just not fun any more. And to top that, u guys (u the pr team of Activision) delayed the fckin update with all the balance changes.

Hello, I think you should add content to the battle royale ... Like for example a shop .. (like on the battle royale of warzone) with armor, killstreaks, shield, gas mask, self revive kit, ammunition box .. all this bought with money that found it in the boxes where on the enemies killed ... That added a lot of dynamism to the game because the players will go to seek money and this will find around these shops .. ( more combat) add the killstreaks, UAV, as well as the weapons that you add to the multi .. You should remove the knife from the beginning and put a gun instead the knife is useless..and the gun will be used at least for some thing .. Add more big city ... Remove the plains where you have to walk for hours without seeing anything ... You did a good job but it could be better and therefore there would be more players and therefore fewer bots. .. Ranked Mode....

I've been playing ranked mode with randoms for the better part of two weeks and I'm exactly where I was two weeks ago. An observation, it is fundamentally unfair to lose points when you lose a match. It makes for a frustrating and ultimately worthless experience. All good to award points to the winners, certainly. To take points away from the losers, especially in random mode is stupid. To take points away from teams that lose a member or two during the game is criminal. Those of you who say "get gud" I say I am good, better than 95.7% of you. The devs need to rethink this process, otherwise, why bother playing. Two weeks, countless games and I'm right where I started. Love to hear what you all think.

Kudos to all of you who made Legendary this season. Given the pace I'm at, I guess I'll have to try for next, or find a team that can carry me when I have an off game or two. Tough to find in random. Even tougher when you're screwed for every game you lose.

Right, to start off with I’m only a pro player and you probs won’t listen to me but by the off-chance that you do....

Please sort matchmaking, for the last dozen of matches I’ve been put in a team with either A: bots or B: shitty players, I would rather wait to have a team with real people than to lose 150-60 on domination meltdown because two teammates have left and the other ones are ‘plasticfoods’ and ‘soccermom63’ I know these are bots, please sort it out, I wouldn’t have a problem if it were a normal multiplayer but it isn’t, it’s ranked I can lose actual XP from having a defeat bc I’m in a bot team. Please respond to me, I’ve had enough, I want to hear your view of things, I want to hear you respond to me telling me why this is so. I’m not some Karen that wants 11 paragraphs from you, I’m just a kid trying to have fun. And before other redditors respond to this saying ‘your a kid you don’t know what your doing’ I say to them yes, yes I am a kid and yes I do know what I’m doing, it’s just your biased hypocritical ass that thinks our generation can handle ourselves (note: this isn’t aimed at you unless your a 43 year old man named John from Manchester who likes to ruin other people’s days OR someone from activision who would like to get in-touch)

Public Service Announcement: If you resort to Gravity spikes because my movement is too quick for you to actually hit me with bullets, then you shouldn’t be in legendary rank.

I think I’m going to give up on ranked. Already at 14k points and I think that’s enough. I am SO sick of these noobs/lazy dumfucks in legendary spamming gravity spikes just because they can’t get a kill.

Go and fucking practice using a gun YOU FUCKING LAZY PIECES OF SHIT. Holy fuck. If I had a dime for the amount of times a noob has killed me with gravity spikes, I’d be rich. Especially domination when they see 2 or 3 enemies. It’s like they shit their pants and automatically hit the operator skill button. TDM is even worse because they just spam the shit out of it for a free kill without even trying to use their gun.

And the worse past is after using spikes, they somehow get 2 kills miraculously and their spikes reset. I can’t wait for the spikes and Pharo to get nerfed so that I can destroy you clown ass motherfuckers in the next season and bring you down a few ranks. Learn to use a fucking gun. You know who you are. Rant over.

Devs, can you guys explain why we keep getting new SMGs?

I'm not mad. The Newest SMGs (the GKS, Cordite) are great guns. What I'm kinda not liking it the fact that we are getting 3 new SMGs Ina Row, the gks last season, Cordite this season, and the MP5 next season. It's kinda annoying how you guys keep adding smgs and making it hard for us to determine what's the new Best SMG. And even though We keep getting new SMGs, the meta doesn't change that much since we are still in the AR meta. And it's also hard who people to make Top 5 or 10 lists on the best smgs, since every SMG except the HG40, Chicom, and MSMC (not the worst, just isn't that great anymore, sorry MsMC fans) are all really nice guns, and it makes it hard to see what is #1, and what goes to bottom. Now for a new gun idk, a new ar seems nice, no one gonna care about a new shotgun, and LMGs aren't really that used since most people usually run around getting kills, and LMGs aren't great for those situations. But be nice to see a new one since all we have are the s36, ul736, m4lmg and RPD which all were in the game at start. So after season 7, let's not get another smg.

Releasing the update would have a bigger impact then delaying it

I was in a group and someone on our team was talking about how a target near them got looted (because the target donated money to the police), they said that they just want to stay inside because it's crazy where they are. They said that they have nothing to do and are playing cod until this passes by

For the people that are at the center or are near the riots need something to do, and Activision delayed the update.

Games help people escape from whatever problems, and it feels great. As a person who might fail my grade, I need this update to make me not worry about this.

Smoke grenade isn't working

I don't have a video nor a screenshot because when I do it asks if I can crop it stopping my game.

But this has happened multiple times, in raid hardpoint I tried to use the smoke nade in the center hardpoint but it didn't go off, I tried it 5 times and nothing happened.

Idk about other maps but in raid smokes rarely work for me

Has Call of Duty servers been bad or is it just me? I've been playing fine for the couple past days until all of a sudden my internet has been bad. I would shoot somebody and a couple milliseconds to a second later, that's when the shot would connect. My shots don't register completely until .3-1 second later, and I get random ping spikes. It goes from 58 ms to 120, then 62 to 143 then quickly go back to 72.

CODM is being greedy for money like they’ve always been... instead of donating, which would help a ton, they chose to delay the update. How is delaying the update going to help the black people?

In the patch notes, they said that now is not the time to be playing, and to be standing up for justice, equality, etc. to be seen and heard. I’m so sure that CODM isn’t standing up for anything by delaying the update, and neither are they going to be seen and heard. Besides, they haven’t even donated at all.

I feel like they are being greedy as usual, and not actually caring for the black people. It is definitely possible that CODM is using this whole black lives matter situation, to benefit themselves. Since they know that they won’t be making money because of the protest, they are delaying the update till the black lives matter protest, donation, etc. ends. Then, they are probably hoping people to spend more money on CODM instead of them donating. I know this is very explicitly stated and it might not be true, but if this is true, shame on CODM.

Stop Complaining About the Update Delay, it doesn’t Help Us Either

First off, I want to say that I appreciate Activision’s good intentions to spread awareness even if they may not be the most effective ways to contribute towards the BLM movement. Yes, delaying the update doesn’t solve racism, a vegetable could’ve understood that. While the universe goal is to end racism in its entirety, the point of the delay was to spread awareness to the situation at hand, and it was meant to bring people together to help solve this issue. But what does Activision receive instead?: backlash from whiny kids that are upset because their favorite game is being put on hold. It’s easy to point the finger and say “They should’ve donated x amount of money to [insert support group].” I guarantee most of these same statements come from individuals that haven’t done a single thing to help solve the problem at hand. How about instead of complaining, why don’t you partake in a peaceful protest yourself, or make donations to support the movement. Just do something to help, instead of criticizing from the comfort of your home (because complaining doesn’t help the situation either). It wasn’t a problem to the community before, because it didn’t affect their lifestyle or conveniences. Now that it suddenly affects their conveniences, people have a problem. The updates are being DELAYED, not canceled. The new content is still coming, just at a later date. An extra week or so of waiting won’t kill you. I’m sorry that the CoD gaming community isn’t the center of attention right now. In the mean time I suggest finding interests or hobbies other than CoDM to help pass the time (I personally have found a great interest in distance running). Wish you all a great rest of your day.

Bad Players in Ranked Mode (Master I)

First off, I just want to clarify that I consider myself decent as every ranked game I play I usually get double digits number of kills and only die a few times. Now to the main point.

Master I is a pretty high rank in cod mobile ranked mode. So having this MUST means that they’re somewhat decent at the game right? Right? NO.

Every damn game I play in ranked mode all I get are players that are extremely unaware and have the aim of my blind grandma trying to aim with a gun while having a seizure. It’s so frustrating for me to be penalized and lose exp for my teammates’ doing. It makes me question how the fuck they even made it to the rank that they have with the skills they have (master I).

Legendary Rank is just an oversaturated pool of players who aren't as good as they think they are

After hitting Legendary Rank this season and last season, I am now fully realizing how bad many of these players are and that the grind is simply just that, a grind.

Players, with persistence, can still make it to the top with just above average skill, can make it to Legendary despite not having any outstanding skill or intuition of the game.

Keep in mind I speak for myself when I say most of us. I do not consider myself a good player. I consider myself decent, but when along the lines of people who are really good, there's a major gap.

Another thing is that the game inflates the importance of K/D. No one cares about your K/D if you are trash at capping objectives. Most of us with tanked K/Ds are the ones who, if counted, have twice or more the number of times spent on the objectives (mainly Domination and Hardpoint). While kills matter, there is a level of intuition that distinguishes players who are subpar from those who can win when objectives are on the line.

There are many games I have encountered at the Master Legendary level where I was the only one actually attempting for objectives. How is that even possible with people who supposedly at the top rank? It's not like they were dead. They just were in different areas of the map nowhere near the actual objectives.

I'm sure those who know what I'm talking about can empathize on the thought of "if I'm the best we've got on this team, we're screwed."

M21 And XPR CHANGES

The m21 and the xpr have always been a miss within codm and even to those who use it and make good with it would know there needs to be at least some change to make these useable and more flexible. I thought of a simple change that may/may not change the game with these guns but i feel like it's a necessary addition to make these Better!

Buffs:

  • Iron sights can be used
  • Red dot and Holoscope can be used

I even thought doing this could make them op, and if so simply apply these changes:

Nerfs(just in case if the guns become too op):

  • Slightly reduce aim down time (debatable)
  • Increase recoil (reasonable)
  • Slightly decrease firerate (debatable)

Now if the game would add more scopes could even do better with these guns, I probably would make another post on what kind of scopes would be nice to be added and maybe even a scope customization could be applied but that'll be for another post. Be sure to share this so more people can see and even give any feedback on my recommended changes for these guns. I'll be making more posts of suggested balance changes for anything in the future, but in general this is just a guy who just loves playing codm and Hope's to see this game thrive to be the best it can.

I play wierd in SnD for some reason

So not sure what I need to change or not. So when I play snd I will die with no kills in like 2-3 rounds but than 1 round I pop off and kill 3-5 enemies and win the round by myself. I'm never the bomb grabber guy. I don't rush. I sit and wait and see what's going on and play it on the fly. So if I'm horrible at 2-3 rounds and than shred everyone 1 round. Am I playing to aggressive? I guess it may sound like I'm playing TDM style but if you kill everybody the bomb plant/fuse isn't a factor anyway

I think that the screen that shows how much xp you got for your level shouldn’t be shown for max levels (150) like a option to skip that screen I honestly get annoyed trying to exit all the screens before I can play another ranked game

CODm comms

Be awesome if the comms could be fixed. Often my friends and I can't use the in game comms because they are unreliable to actually work and it mostly is hindering in BR when you need to hear stuff. Discord often makes it so you cant hear in game sounds or they're extremely quiet.

Changing colour of crosshair

I really want this feature to be introduced somewhere in the future. Since ranked s4 began, the maps were brightened to some extent which has made sniping difficult because the crosshairs are white.

Being able to change it's colour will be very helpful.

Your mother fucking game is so bad I don't get it all. I am getting killed even when I am behind cover. When I aim in on an enemy I am getting crazy aim punch. Also my ping is good. Was ranked S5 delayed along with Battle Pass S7?

Basically the info we got was for the BP season 7 and nothing was said about the ranked season 5. So I'm curious if it will be delayed as well.

I'm currently Legendary and CAN'T wait to fall down because as it is now, getting games is just hedious. It takes at least 240-300 seconds to get a match(sometimes it straight up says no opponent found).

And more often than not, you get matched with the same squad again and again and either you keep destroying them(which gets boring) or they keep destroying you(which gets irritating).

So its kinda hard to have fun in the game these days.

Cod zombies hopes and suggestions

well on the topic of cod mobile..yes this post dose count for this sub reddit because it’s r/codMobile and mobile once had zombies but got removed due to it not being a “high enough quality” is what the official reddit account said on it.

So what I think on the pre-removal state of CODM zombies: it was a very very low quality as the reddit account said,zombie HP was godlike,Wonder weapons where strange,perks sucked and the PAP mechine was hot garbage not even boosting damage that high
The only 2 maps where KINO DER TOTËN and shangra-la?(swamp map I don’t remember the name for).

The survival was ok but was impossible around round 40 because the zombies HP system is strange and makes PAP wonder weapons (if you can even call them that) look like hot garbage

But the raid modes where the most fun...don’t need to explain

the current state of CODM zombies:
as the game mode is now “removed” the tab(for gear)and files for the mode are still in the game meaning they did not 100% remove it but just made it inaccessible.

What I hope to see when or IF it gets RE-added:
just more maps and a zombie HP rework,the maps that would be the most easy addable would be

Nuke town zombies,town,barn,bus stop all WAW maps and BO1 maps since (some) they are Small,fun to play and(some of the most) ICONIC maps and will bring more people and people who only got CODM will come/comeback and this will get the main company some more cash from downloads and purchase in game..olso VOYAGE OF DISPARE WOULD LOOK FUN HERE ^and ^tranzit ^lets ^not ^forget ^about ^the ^trash ^gem

How often do you rotate guns in MP

Me I feel they are so balanced. I rotate what feels like a ton of guns in MP. Sure some better than others but I'm rotating out KN, LK, BK, 117, ASM, AK47, RUS, PDW, M4 on the regular depending on map and how I feel. Obviously I have my favs. I usually go to the KN but there's a good 9-10 guns I will usually use in one day of playing

I don't feel like playing anymore

I've been grinding this game since the global launch. I've follow every social media community around this game and try and keep up with everything. There had never been a day that I didn't wanna play it. But recently the both the shock RC and the gravity spikes started to really make me mad. They then decided to do away with rank selection which was a bummer. All I got last night was TDM and SnD. On top of that they decided to postpone the update.
I think this is the first time in months I won't play the game.
I mean I love the game still, but they are really testing us now.

How do you have fun in ranked domination?

To me, domination is one of the MOST FRUSTRATING game ode to play in ranked. From personal experiences of me playing with, the game mode HEAVILY depends on teamwork and camping. Which leads me to the reason of hating this game mode more than trash players. I’m trying my hardest to get legendary rank and EVERY SINGLE FUCKING TIME this game mode pops up, my hard earned exp are chipped away. I have never played this mode in casual MP matches, but in ranked it makes me want to kill myself. My teams are always shit and are paired with people who camp like crazy. As least in hardpoint , the goal moves around, preventing camping. However, in domination you have people camping fucking roofs and shits at B. I’m honestly questioning how you have fun in this game mode.

What do you guys use as sens settings for tablet. I don’t understand how I see some pros like jokester using 90 all around basically, I feel like I can’t even turn much less do a 180 on that low. Game deliberately hard locking graphics settings?

So I play on an iPhone 6 which isn’t ideal but it works. However, before S6 I preferred to run the game on low frame rate (even though medium is allowed) that way I could reduce the number of game crashes and hangs caused by overheat (another issue I’ll talk about here in a second). As of S6 tho, the game has hardlocked the graphics settings and I cannot change my frame rate from medium to low (even after multiple restarts).

As for overheats, I know now that they are not the main cause of crashes in S6. The main cause of crashes is directly related to the game itself, as I had cooled off my phone by placing it in front of a high powered fan for two minutes (the phone was a relatively cool 40-50 degrees if I had to guess) while in a match. The match loaded then immediately crashed, and the phone barely got any hotter. I went to reopen the game and the phone’s temp rocketed past 100 like it was a nasa space shuttle. It never did this before S6.

So two bugs that need fixes ASAP. Anyone else experiencing these issues.

Unable to find opponents

Ever since I got to Legendary I've only played one random match with no friends. Whenever I start a match, the counter goes as high as until it says unable to find opponents but once you're joined by a friend you instantly get matched. It makes no sense to me how you can be matched within seconds when queuing with just a single friend and when alone you can't get a match.

This post, although I know it's not likely to be read, is for the Devs and not the community.

Early last season I quit the game for a few weeks due to black screens/ freezes. I am mostly a Battle Royale player, and most of the people on my friends list are also Battle Royale players.

Each season the issues with Black Screens/ freezes have actually gotten worst. In the beginning of Battle Royale these issues existed but eventually seemed to stop, as if the issue had been identified and fixed. That is no longer the case, and these issues are lasting an entire season. Without fix.

Imagine playing a game of Battle Royale knowing that at any moment your were going to get that BS/ FRZ. It can happen when you think you're in a safe area, but it can also happen when you're down to the last 5, and the safe zone is collapsing. Each game is not limited to one BS/ FRZ, but multiple. So you might have had it early in a match, and reloaded into the same match, reached the final 5, thought you were safe and then BS/ FRZ. Or you might have just collected a team mates tags and it crashed before you had chance to scan them.

It took me 107 matches just to reach Master 2 in Battle Royale. I quit after that because of the sheer frustration at the games BS/ FRZ.
107 is probably not a good number, but a good chunk of that is games I've lost due to these issues. I've reloaded into games plenty of times to find I died because my helicopter crashed/ or because I was shot. Or sometimes I didn't have the option to rejoin a game. Or because in was outside the safe zone by the time I reloaded.

When I reached Master 2 this season I stopped playing BR. Which actually wasn't that long ago, it was May 28th. I haven't played since. Even deleting my friends list because I'm constantly declining matches. If you wonder why it took until 05/28 it's because I wasn't playing.

Now the issue of BS/ FRZ has spread to Ranked! Strangely, for me, it used to be isolated to Battle Royale. But not anymore. The problem has become more frequent in Ra...

Feedback report about Battle Royal's crashing issues and a weird glitch I saw

So, while I'm trying to figure out what causes BR crashing or freezing by testing it using every single method I can think, I realised this really weird thing or glitch. When I play solo BR games and I have maximum graphics and fps and the game is full of bots, it doesn't crash. This is really weird. Yes, sometimes you can have a BR game where there are no players but only bots. And that's the only time that whatever graphic or fps setting you're going to have, the game won't crash. But as soon as I play duos or squads or even solos, but with no bots, at medium graphics and max fps the game will crash.
Another thing is that a few weeks before, I was able to play BR on high (not very high) graphics without freezing issues. Lately, I can't even play on medium. Well, it's obvious that it's not on my phone. My device is pretty good and I'm running multiplayer on highest settings smoothly. The Battle Royal is unstable. I see many comments and another reviews saying that the crashing problem is probably due to android version 10. So, maybe the game isn't fully optimized for this version. I don't know. I also see some ppl saying that they never faced crashes. But the majority of players have this problem. I see many similar comments, plenty of similar feedbacks and play store's critics. It's definitely the BR mode otherwise the multiplayer would have problems too. Or at least I'd see crashes even when I play a game full of bots. Well, I hope Activision will do sth about this gem. We'll see. Ima just let you know if I find anything else so to help you with this. Cheers 🍻

I need a team!

I need teamates for the team round of the championship. I am currently master I in mp and although I like to main snipers I am a lot better with the icr1 so that's what I use for tough matches. My kd is 1.75 because I play the objective (no matter if I die a lot) and my accuracy is pretty good I have more than 25000 kills so I'd say I'm ok at the game.

I don't think I want someone a lot better than me because I don't want them to have carry me and for the team to not feel fair. Just dm me for more info.

How to make Zombies Better:

Since the Cod Mobile didn't start fixing Zombies, here's some tips in how to fix Zombies:
-Nerf Zombies:They Have Way too much health
-No Pay to win guns like the lava skins,those needs to be removed to fix the balance.If you want to put lava skins then make it grindable just like the Lava Axe.
-No Revive coins,those needs to be completely removed BUT for people that are new to Zombies maybe add the Revive coins BUT only in EASY mode and it should be limited to 2 coins.
But other than that,It needs to be gone in normal,hardcore and Survival.
-No Upgrade machine (the one downstairs in shi no numa)Those are honestly needs to be removed,just because how annoying it is to tap millions of time and every game.
-Make New map per month.

So, season 7 is delayed in solidarity with BLM movement. Cool. Good for you Activision. You've put on your big boy pants I see.
So, tell me how many main black characters have been their in the CoD franchise till now? None as far as I remember. I may be wrong.
Bowman and Truck have been the only black characters remotely involved in the franchise that I remember.
But sure, please go on and tell us how you are helping people of colour in levelling out the field for them.

What actually would have been better was to introduce a character monetarily bought whose entire proceeds could go to BLM. Even now an announcement of donating a share from the profits of Season 7 may help subdue your community's anger towards you. But I guess I am naive to think that a corporate could be sensitive enough to accept that it made a judgement error.

100% accuracy assumption: slow-firing, heavy-hitting guns like the AK47, ASM, and MOW dominate up to 35m; the S36 becomes the best close-range weapon

Most of us have average ADS accuracies in the range of 20-40%. By breaking down the perfect-accuracy assumption and inputting values that are closer to reality, we get this:

Average 33% accuracy up to 40m. MSMC shreds close-range while AK47 takes the crown for mid-range encounters

TTKs in Table 2 are based off of these accuracy values. I'll have a link at the bottom of this post.

You should immediately notice how different this looks. This is what you want to be using when making decisions on what gun is the best for you.

Instructions for use

  1. Click on the link to the spreadsheet, sign into your Google account, and go to File > Make a copy. Rename the copy to anything of your choosing
  2. You'll only ever need to touch two sheets: 'Compare' and 'Accuracy'
    1. Enter the guns you want to compare in the 'Compare' tab. No dashes, no whitespaces
    2. Enter your best estimates of your accuracies at each range in the 'Accuracy' tab. I've provided a 'Moving Average' column to guide you in the direction of entering sensible values. Anybody else’s ADS not working in br?

I’ve recently just had this encounter as I logged on. Thinking it’ll be a normal BR match and I was wrong. Killed within 30seconds of landing with a arc that wouldn’t fire. Am I missing something? Did they also get rid of 3D Touch? I was able to ADS yesterday but not today
