Reason why Rank selection was implemented.

We are nearing end of season. So it was implemented so that people could select their favoured modes for a final push to whatever tier they want.

Rank is meant to be random. It makes it more competitive. Rank selection was fun, but it also worsens your gameplay. I myself had only 2 modes selected. Today while playing snd after a long while, I did really bad. Random rank modes is good.

My guess is it will be back towards the end of next season.

Phones that get the black screen issue in battle royale.

Iam not sure if this is the right subreddit for this question but I wanted to ask the users. Which phones get the black screen issue frequently?

I recently sold my Razer Phone 2 for some issues, but one of them was getting a black screen in every single battle royale match(no exaggeration)

So Iam looking to buy a new phone and one of the factors is wether or not it has issues in cod mobile.

OnePlus 6T and the Xiaomi mi 9.

It might seem childish to choose a phone based on video games but the two phones are pretty much identical in terms of specs and price.

Who else agrees?

Who else thinks they should bring back the bo3 system back in create-a-class, where you can unequip items like your grenade for something like an extra perk or an extra attachment? I feel like that should be added cuz the lethals and tacticals can be pretty useless in this game.

  1. Visit this site https://www.callofduty.com/redemption

  2. Enter your UID in the UID field.

  3. Enter the redemption code BBQIZCZ4P3

  4. Wait a minute, until the verification code image updates. The code will initially be 6199, wait until a new code appears.

  5. Enter the new Verification code

  6. Click Submit

Messed up controls in BR, giving away my position

Playing CODM with an external control, a SteelSeries Nimbus. I messed with my controls and I can't revert back during a BR match. When I use an SMG or AR, when I go into ADS and hold the left trigger and release back to hop, i end up shooting one round. This messes me up cause it gives away my position. For a sniper rifle, when I ADS and go back to hip, I don't shoot off one round. How do I fix this?

Top 10 Funniest Ways to Die in Call of Duty: Mobile

This is a list of ten ways to die in CODM that I think are the funniest. Obviously, dying is usually something you don't want to do during a match, but sometimes I can't help laughing my butt off when I die in some dumb way. Anyways, here you go! Please reply with your thoughts!

Number 10: Trip Mines

You know how they be. They're only at the bottom of the list because Trip Mines are most of the time legitimately annoying. It's not very often that I laugh at me dying to a Trip Mine.

Number 9: Weird Wallbangs

Like the previous entry, I can laugh at this sometimes, but not often. Most wallbangs I die by are actually pretty annoying and don't make much sense. But on good days, I can enjoy myself dying to a really weird Locus shot.

Number 8: Molotov'ing yourself

Call me a noob, but I end up doing this a lot. It's honestly kind of funny panicking while watching your character slowly succumb to the pain of fire. It gives you more time to think to yourself, "Why in the heck did I do that?"

Number 7: Grenading yourself

Like the previous entry but you get the effect instantly.

Number 6: Purifier

I don't know why, but seeing my character flailing their arms around as they burn makes me laugh for some reason.

Number 5: Fall damage

It doesn't happen a lot, but oh boy do I die laughing like this!

Number 4: Falling Goliath

Honestly, I've seen that clip from Bobby Plays where his teammate "accidentally" kills him with his dropping Goliath. That was pretty hilarious if I say so myself.

Number 3: Falling Care Package

Pretty much the same as the previous one. I just find it even more ironic since the Scorestreak is called "Care" Package and yet you can die from it falling.

Number 2: Search and Destroy bomb explosion on defense

"When you try your best but you don't succeed..."

Yeah, this pretty much only applies to when you're on the defending team and you try to defuse the bomb, but it's too late. It's even funnier if the bomb explosion happens to be the final kill because then you get to see...

Help there are more frequently bot battles

There are some people out there that host intire bot squad's and they werck everything . They have auto Gravity spike counters they run around grenades and tripmines(idk how they're called) ant they all Jump if one of the is jumping . I had luck having good teammates to defend against them . But others won't ... This is a pretty bad problem and you shouldn't be allowed to just use a bit to play the game . Note : this wasn't some bots placed in by the COD server. And I'm pretty sure they don't avoid gravity spikes

First, nerf gravity spikes. The freaking things take out a city block,. That’s bullshit. Second, stop the camping in Hardpoint. Change up the rotation so these friggin idiots can’t camp and score easy points.

Codm is turning into pubg.

Think about it. The devs are making colourful skins, military skins, modes and other things while there are many bugs and issues. Bugs and issues like the gravity spikes not killing the enemy because the enemy is higher or an obstacle blocks you and the enemy, but you can get killed by the enemy even tho you are higher/there is a car that blocks you from the enemy. And lag. Heck, my average ms is now 100 because of lag. And, I always teleport right back where I am when climbing a window. And nerf the Gravity Spikes, Shock RC.

And look at the op weapons:

TYPE25- can get for free BUFFED (because of lucky draw
AK117- can get for free NERFED
Pharo- can get for free NERFED (infuture)
HBRA3- need to pay to get nerfed a little bit (but may get nerfed when the free releases)

So devs, I beg you, please prioritize fixing the lag before adding lucky draws and other things. Please.
And if it needs funding, make a gofundme page.

State of ranked rn

Ranked is currently so bad and really horrible experience for everyone.
Two main things that made ranked almost impossible to play without getting mad are:

  1. F*cking Shock RC
  2. F*cking no skill needed Gravity Spikes that everyone is spamming. Almost 50% of my deaths are beacuse of that trash operator that everyone use whenever they're about to lose gunfight and they have it charged more than half after they kill you.

Fix some things in rank devs..

Some things were mentioned by Ferg already but I wanted to say this from a long time so I am just gonna say it. Like devs pls nerf gravity spikes I hate it when three of us are capping with trohpies and everything and one guy comes flying kills three and they cap the flag or worse once they cap a flag they will just wait for us to cap and whole team spams it whenever you go for cap. There is literally no counter for spikes. Yes I know you can jump but it's impossible to do it perfectly Everytime.

Second things is shock rc it can be aquired so easily very few points and I know people gonna say use cold blooded but the amount of use of rc makes it too op which doesn't make the game balanced like how guns are all balanced preety much this season because of rc people have to use cold blooded on all of their loadouts can't use toughness or ghost or vulture anymore. If it's one or two rc then fine but sometimes whole team is using rc and there are so many of them you can't do anything.

Rank selection mode was very good ofcourse they should bring it back people should be able to choose whatever they wanna play like just after removal of this I got three tdm in my first games and i quit playing after that. I don't hate tdm that much just the campers but sometimes I like to play snd or other times dom. Also depends if I am playing with a team or solo so what's the point of removing something which can be useful to everyone if you wanna play random you can select each mode.

Lastly my main issue with rank rn is persitence hardline noobs. I played against a clan recently every single one was using spikes persistence+hardline rc and pharo in summit and even then they were losing the top fragger in their team was 13-16 we were around 137-60 then the guy gets vtol I couldn't believe how that was possible but then I saw his captures in the end the guy only focused on capping and rushing with persistence and hardline and pharo to get a vtol. Then they tripple capped us and we couldn't take back even one point because eve...

Cordite GamePlay

I got the Cordite Zero from the lucky draw which I regretted, I should have waited to complete the Cordite challenge to see if I like the gun before spending money on the Zero. I've seen guys laser with the Cordite in ranked matches but it's my least favourite SMG, each time I try to play with it it feels less capable to me, my opponents kill me easily. I've tried to like the gun but I just don't like the feel of the Cordite Zero, whether it is the animation or the sound, I'd choose Pharo and Rus before it.

Ranked Mode Selection was nice and I would want it to come back, but with a tweak.

Obviously, some people who don’t prefer the challenge would have only played the one or two game modes that they are really good at, while others who didn’t really care went for random. I’m assuming sometime in the future, we’re eventually gonna get more game modes available for Ranked like KC, CTF, or even FFA. When we have several, or even with the current 4, we should only be able to choose one (or maybe two) game modes that we don’t want, because if you’re able to play only one game mode that we’re good at, it ruins the whole point of grinding for legendary. It’s already so much easier for people to hit legendary with the balance for Rank EXP gains and losses (although some of those were much needed), so I don’t think making it easy is the way to go for this game’s progression.

I need a refund please help

So I spent $75 dollars and $25 of that went towards the no smoking bundle. My teenage mind thought putting$50 went towards the pharo crate was a good idea. As you can guess I got trash. Is their anyway I can get a refund? If I do get refunded will I be banned? Also I went to report a problem from apple and they said a refund was not possible unless I explained the situation more which I have i’m waiting at the moment. If that doesn’t work is their another way?

Is there something off about the ping matching?

When my ping is at its lowest at around 45 i can quite often get massive shot timing issues. From my perspective i face off 1v1 coming around a corner and get 1 shot off, but feel I've reacted as quickly as i possibly could. Sometimes the perspective even seems to favour me. I then see the kill cam and I've been shot 5 times or the perspective is completely different.

At a ping of say 55-60 i very rarely feel this obvious timing difference. When i die i can tell that its down to weapon differences or slight reaction delays.

I play so many hours of this game day after day since season 1 that these differences become obvious even when subtle.

I know UAV is a small factor e.g. someone has genuinely pulled the trigger before me as they knew where i was or they are hip firing, but what I'm describing above is more than this.

Anyone else notice how easy it is to get to Legendary now?

So I noticed this yesterday once COD removed game mode selection on ranked.

For the past 1-2 weeks, I had been stuck on Master V at around 6150-6350 points. I would keep bouncing in between that range.

What I noticed was that whenever I would hit above 6250 points, the game would immediately start putting me against legendary players. Up until yesterday, I had given up on trying to get to legendary (keep in mind I play thumbs and this is my first season playing ever, so I’m not a pro).

Then, I noticed the rank game mode selection was gone. I decided to play a couple games. I immediately noticed that I would get paired against at most one Legendary and everyone else would be master 1-5. Within a couple hours, I had reached 6500 aka Legendary rank.

I’m not sure why COD removing the game mode selection changed the matchmaking as much as it did but it just became significantly easier to rank up to Legendary.

Anyone else notice this?

Petition to improve crates

I think it would be better if cod removes the credits from crates. It’s not worth it to spend around 80cp for each crate and have a very big change to receive 50-300 credits that could easily receive by playing events.

Modes

Imo they should have more modes like search and destroy because you can't really rely on specialists or good score streaks. The mode I would want in ranked Is hardcore mode because you have no minimap specialists or scorestreaks to rely on I had fun playing that on console and since I can't play my console while going on tour I would still like to play it on the go

An Snd guide, this time for good ol' Crossfire

Yep.

The most memed map, probably in the whole of codm history. From getting it in Ranked for Snd to just a painful experience playing TDM on it, with snipers just... there to ruin your experience like tomatoes in your salad. Well, Snd likes this particular map so I thought I'd go through it.

Crossfire is just, wack. At that's just putting it lightly.

From the Attacker's side, you have a couple options.

  1. You jaywalk, cross the street and get to Lockers as fast as you can.

From there, either hold the angle on Melons/Bus Station(Building in front) or take an angle outside the building to make sure you don't get cardiac arrest from all the rushers

(For real tho, people like to run down B side and just delete everyone on site. If one person can hold down an angle that covers the long line of sight and path outside Bus station and Locker, it should stop most B rushes in their tracks.)

From there, clear the 2 rooms of enemies and push into Cafe. Note here to check behind the staircase. People like to camp there. On your way down, if there is anyone at café, take them out first. In fact, if you see em, kill em. Push into café, but be careful. Why? Because of the sheer amount of angles that can be taken and used to kill anyone pushing through café. Let's count.

Remove PRIVATE MATCH minimum settings restrictions

I don't really see any reason for minimum restrictions to be imposed on match settings (eg: 10 kills is the lowest setting possible, 60 seconds is the lowest time possible, etc) since private matches don't count for points. Why not allow people to play short matches if that's what they want to do?

Playing very short matches can be really fun. It's an entirely different experience than normal matches. Currently you can't take full advantage of this style of play, because the imposed minimum settings are too high.

I would love to see these restrictions removed so that matches can be configured with kill limits as low as 1, and time limits of as low as 5 seconds. I doubt most users will play matches with settings that low, but you never know. Personally I'd enjoy playing 30-60 second matches with 1-2 kills as the limit.

Reasons why the Cordite Draw shouldn't have been pulled so soon

So the Cordite and don't quote me on this was in the store for 2 weeks. 1V1 was shown to be active until June 4. Some dates were mentioned 1-2 weeks ago as June 1 for a new season of ranked. Don't 100% quote me on this. Everything was posted to end or start between June 1-4. So since Draws do not have timers most assumed this timeframe.

Myself, like many people get paid on Fridays. I get paid Bi-Weekly. So when a new big money draw comes out I just wanted to wait and see reviews and see if I want the thing. My plan was ok I get paid Friday and when I get home I'm gonna buy 10K CP and get Niktyo, RPD, Cordite and be a happy man.

I log in, bam it's gone by 8PM Eastern, 5PM Western on a friday. Im pretty sure most everyone gets paid on Fridays these days. Yes I should have bought it the day it hit but still. Don't pull a money maker before people have a chance to get paid to even buy it. Pull Crates or Draws on a Sunday or Monday only.

I have seen some posts and know I'm not the only one who was disappointed in this.

So I say put a timer or end date on all lucky draws or even a notification, hey this ends in 24 hours like events do. If you want money, give people the chance to give it to you. Plan ahead vs what the world is doing.

Nothing I can do now, definitely not spending the money on anything else right now. Ill wait another 3-6 months and hope it hits in credits or a bundle or something like the HBR I've been trying to buy for half a year

How to fix your sensitivity when playing on a phone?

I'm currently in the middle of trying to fix my sensitivity. I once had my standard sens/ads sens super high (around 120 for standard/168 for ads) and I felt like being in ADS made my aim jump a lot (meaning my swipes often overcompensate when I try to track an enemy that's moving side to side). Also, I feel like I have to swipe all the way across the screen just to flick properly, which requires quite unnecessary effort since I'm playing with claw. I'm kinda scared to mess with my sens because it might mess everything up. Any tips and suggestions? Should I switch from speed acceleration? Will having a different firing sens help? I'm mostly an RUS-79U/KN-44 main btw. I'm pretty new to the FPS genre and this is the first game I've taken seriously so I hope I can get good responses. Thank you!

LK Sakura Redemption pls help

I’ve been attempting for the past hour to get the LK, but “Verification failed” keeps popping up.

My UID is correct, the code is also correct (I’m using Garena), and I type in whatever the verification displays (and it’s not 6199), but it won’t work for some reason...

I tried it on Google on mobile and PC, I tried Opera GX, I tried Safari, and I tried Firefox. What am I doing wrong?

Crates, lucky draws, and BP cost 1/3rd of the price on my second device.

Me and my brother bought the same amount of CP so that we could buy the BP and do a few spins on the lucky draw, and that is when I realised me and my brother have different costs for everything, lucky draw, crate and even BP. It's costs 1/3 of the price for my brother, not sure why. I downloaded the game and used shareit to transfer the game to my brother's device, we created the account at almost the same day and bought the CP on the same day as well, and yet the costs on the devices are different. I've read somewhere else on reddit that this happens if you play the beta which makes your account register in the USA server and costs across different regions are different, but I didn't play the beta what so ever, I installed the game on global release. I don't know why this has happened and I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem.

What small things (attachments, perks, small additions or changes) would you like to see in CODM? Here's mine.

  • Permanent Melee button, not that melee-ing in the game is the greatest thing in the world or anything but a melee button that doesn't just appear when you're close to the enemy would be nice.

  • Horizontal Foregrip attachment, a grip that would help stabilize a weapon's horizontal recoil instead of vertical.

  • Scope Switch button for BR, it'd be a nice quality of life option to be able switch from say a 3x scope to a red dot while using an M4

  • Iron Sights option for Sniper rifles, many already want this, but I'll put it here anyway.

  • Vehicles should keep going for a while even if you let go of the accelerate/forward button. Currently vehicles stop almost instantly when you let go of the accelerate button.

  • Speaking of Vehicles, we should be able to customize the driving HUD. I'm tired of wasting the Heli's Flares everytime I accidentally press it. lol

It’s so bs how anytime someone get slightly close to an opponent, they just use gravity spikes. It’s basically a get out of jail free card. An enemy with a good close range weapon approaches? Gravity spikes. Facing against a player who’s better and more experienced and should be able to kill you based on their skill? Nope. Gravity spikes.

Bugs of Cod Mobile and what needs to be fixed.

This first one I dont think is a bug but it annoys me the most. When you die, it says tap twice to revive, but doesn't, I tapped it like 6 times before I get revived.

This second one is character animations. When your opponent is climbing( not ladders ), you can't see them whilst they're climbing, you only get to see them when they've already gotten up and ready to shoot you.

This third one is hitboxes. All cars have very weird hit boxes and can get annoying especially when your shooting and your shots aren't landing because of the car's hitbox. But not just cars, the tractor in the standoff map and the 2 sports car inside of the garage in the raid map are the worst! Their hitboxes are so big its very annoying.

This last one are not bugs but are very annoying and i know alot of people will agree on me. The gravity spikes and the shock rc, the gravity spikes are so annoying because you can get it so fast and if you get a kill with it, it is already halfway to be ready again. The shock rc is already very annoying and CodM decided to buff it? That's just bull$***. Just nerfing its hp will make it balanced.

Lastly, how come the version of CodM Garena in apple devices are 1.6.12 and the version of android devices are 1.6.13 this is very annoying because i bought an Ipad for this game but it wont let me because my game is outdated.(i used to play on androids)

So CodM, please fix your game, Thanks.

Why TDM Should Be Removed From Ranked and Why It Does Not Need A Replacement.

TDM isn’t a competitive gamemode and never really has been. Maybe some very small clans hosted TDM in the past but it was never a major thing if it did happen.

TDM, especially in codm, is boring, mindless and the whole game can be changed by operator skills. You can either camp, run around the map and slay or wait for your operator.

Sure, those gunfights require gunskill but good chunk of kills are not actually gun kills. Every other gamemode also require gunskill except the other game modes have an objective.

So why not replace it with other game modes you ask? “Kill Confirmed makes it so that they HAVE to run around the map”, “CTF can replace TDM” etc.

Why does it have to be replaced? Hardpoint, Domination and Search and Destroy are all perfect competitive game modes.

The misconception with Kill Confirmed is that “players would be forced to stop camping to grab tags”. This is wrong on so many levels.

  1. Kill Confirmed makes it easier to farm points for scorestreaks making more of the kills from scorestreaks mid and late game. Gaining points also increases the speed at which your operator skill recharges and we all know how much people here hate the gravity spikes.

  2. People will still camp. It’s an effective strategy. It’s not like people are camping miles away from the players they kill and even if they are, they can have teammates run around the map for tags.

  3. There is still no valid objective. It will still be mindless killing and camping like TDM except it will take longer and you’ll die to scorestreaks and operators more often.

Now let’s get into CTF. If you somehow don’t know what CTF is, you have a flag in your and your enemies’ base and the objective is to rush their base, take their flag, and bring it back to your flag. I’m going to let Nadeshot do some talking for me. Wideo sure it’s about an older cod game but it can apply to codm.

Another point I’d like to make is that the current CTF has specific set spawns. This is TERRIBLE. Players could literall...

Unpopular opinion: gravity spikes do NOT need a nerf!

Reasoning: gravity spikes kill 1-3 people in 99% of situations. Both war machine and sparrow can easily get 6+. Death machine and hive can also quite easily get you 3+.

Reasoning 2: gravity spikes are avoidable in 2 ways, kill the opponent mid air or jump (jumping is not hard if you play 4 fingers and doable with 2 thumbs). Besides hive, other killstreaks aren't avoidable. You cannot stop all the arrows or grenades, you also cannot stop the death machine without killing your opponent. Hive, since nerf, is too easy to avoid.

Real issues of gravity spikes: CTF, KC, rapid fire. Any mode that increases xp per kill and therefore allows gravity spikes every 2/3 kills. Remove this and gravity spikes become fine.

In a normal match (dom/hp) you can use sparrow/war machine/hive etc twice. Gravity spikes 3/4 times, like they should. The kill potential is lower and maximum kills per usage is always lower when have decent aim with sparrow/war machine. Next to this just jump to avoid it and suprise your enemy by doing so. Try jumping out of multiple arrows/grenades. Trophy system is quickly retired and only really viable in hardpoint/domination

Why was the option to choose rank modes removed?

I've currently master 4 playing only sniper and I'm just trying to understand the logic behind the recent change where you can no longer select your game mode. Before this I'd exclusively play TDM and SnD. Now that im forced to pla hardpoint and domination the game is legitimately impossible to play when your team has no idea how to capture points without you physically doing it yourself, which is really insanely difficult with sniper.

Ranked Operator Skill Change Suggestion.

Operators are a huge problem in ranked and obviously CoDM won’t remove them so I’ve come up with a good compromise.

It’s simple, let the operator system be like BR. At the start of the round, let players choose their operator skill but you can’t have two of the same operator on the same team. For example, if your teammate chooses H.I.V.E, then you can’t use it.

Operator selection could happen during the 10 second countdown before the match starts so that players would have an equal chance to choose their operators if they aren’t on a team.

Having only one of each operator could encourage a more competitive environment and could lead to seeing different team compositions and play styles.

You could have a more defensive team with a Shield and Hive, Tempest, Sparrow, Death Machine. Or you could have an aggressive team with Gravity Spikes, War Machine, Katana, Purifier etc.

I'm fucking sick of the rating system.

I'm master 5 and I'm not pushing that hard. I've been on a massive tilt and I'm constantly losing because I have no teammates to play ay with. I'm always the top player in my team in terms of score earned. I even stick to the objective and do whatever I can for my team. However I lose fucking 25 points every game even after dropping 25+ kills, with a good kd and max contribution even in terms of the objective. This rating system is absolute dogshit for a solo ranked player

Hello! Please Help!

I need help, the device on which I used to play CODM recently broke, I had it repaired and then played a bit of ranked. The next day (today) when I started playing again, at first the game was lagging like hell, and then it started matching but the game wouldn't start. It said "loading timeout" and whenever it even started its not showing the enemies or my teammates. I lost a lot a rank XP due to this problem. So I reinstalled the app, but it still won't work, after 3 hours, I was able to play 3 MP matches, but when I tryed playing ranked, it messed up again and I'm not able to play since please help me I really need some help. Bugged Trapmaster tripwire

The tripwire in trapmaster not always showing even with a clear view of area until its hit. Got killed when I approached an area where one trip wire was clear and I went around it giving a wide berth then approached from a different angle seeing nothing else. View was full and clear. Hit another trip wire that only showed after it was hit.

Xiaomi notification bar

So I have a Xiaomi note 5, and I can't seem to find how to disable the notification when you swipe down. There is not the feature in the settings like iPhone or other androids. I found a way on Google by accessing the root of the phone, but I don't have access to a computer.

The only thing I have found is to pin the app, but the bar at the top still show up. The only difference is that there is no notification/time/battery/etc ... But it's still annoying during a ga.e

So does anybody know a way to disable this on Xiaomi phone by any chance?

Question: for knifing, how to do dropshot and double slide?

So, I’ve heard KnifeIOS and others talk about dropping to prone before slashing (unless I have misunderstood), and others about ‘drop shots’, but I’ve tried this and it feels very slow and clunky -am I doing it wrong perhaps? I’ve also heard talk of double slide, but I can’t see how to do that apart from run, slide, then run a little, then slide again?

Can someone explain in some detail how these moves are performed, or point me at a video as a tutorial, please?

Let's Give The Creators of CODM a Break

So, with Season 7 on the horizon, we players have been DEMANDING the creators all sorts of stuff. they are always busy making the game better and better everytime there's an update. For better or for worse. And yet we act like as if they have nothing to do. Well, they do all sorts of stuff to support the CODM community and the game. We have been demanding for a free hbra3 which was what we all wanted, but we dont have to keep on demanding it over, and over again. Just a handful of requests are ok, like cmon, the creators are always listening to us. And then the annoying stuff of recent seasons. The gravity spikes and shock rc. well theyre annoying and all but just stop spamming NERF GRAVITY SPIKES or the shock rc or even the annoying pharo, It literally flooded the whole of r/CallOfDutyMobile. Though we may want all sorts of stuff, we gotta understand that the creators are trying to make money. And with COVID-19 going on, its gonna affect the whole company of Garena and Activision. So, sometimes we may find crates and lucky draws the most infuriating of the whole of CODM, we gotta understand that the company needs, well, money, duh. They work tirelessly to make us players happy, so, appreciate what was given already, and then, maybe you could request all sorts of stuff. If we flood the community with all sorts of shizz, then codm will downgrade every season with all sorts of shizz and eventually breaking codm. time to be aware, players.
