Ranked mode to get legendary

Considering that we can choose the game mode to play in ranked matches what is the best game mode for someone who is solo queueing his way to legendary. I am actually less than 100 points away from and thinking about playing a specific game mode just to get into legendary.

BR item ideas
  1. Antitoxin(Rarity:Epic/purple): Reduces damage from the storm by 30% for 5 seconds. Usage time 1s. Takes up an entire backpack slot.
  2. Thermite(Rarity:Epic/purple): Anti Vehicle lethal equipment that does damage overtime to a vehicle. Also does damage to a player but not as much as compared to a vehicle. 1 will be able to take out an ATV and a bike over 4s and two will destroy an Antelope,DRV and a Heli. Able to stack 2 in a backpack slot
  3. Moltov from MP
  4. Energy drink(Rarity:Blue): Increases movement speed by 3% for 30 seconds. Also heals 1 health for the time. Can heal above 100 . Can stack 3 in a backpack slot

Yes i copied most of them from other games, but i think they would add more complexity to backpack management and would also help the game

Am i the only one frustrated about 1v1 gamemode?

Like wth even i this? Played like 15 matches and won 2 at most. 95% of these players are sweats. Got to chat with one and he agreed to give me the sniperkills if i give him shotgun kills. Got to chat with another random about giving me 1 win and he flat out said: kys buddy you're about to get rekt. Keep in mind that this random had the legendary cordite... While the majority of us are out here grinding amd stressing ourselves out.

COD Mobile: Is there a way to view enemy player profiles?

I’m asking because you cannot click on the enemy player profile, but you can type the name in the Search tab of the Add Friend bar, but this doesn’t work on enemy players with unique characters in their name and it’s impossible to check their profile because of that. I’m curious because I would like to know what ranks I am playing against in regular multiplayer. Thank you!

Right now if we have 2 people in the lobby we can’t select “Saloon” as a game type. For shame!

The reason why you hate 1v1s

Everyone’s complaining about how bad it is due to sweats, but ask yourself honestly: can you really blame the game mode for that?

This is the one mode which comes down purely to individual skill, yet people are unhappy about it because finally there’s no one else to blame. There’s no random teammates to blame here. No one to carry you to the win.

1v1 separates the good players from the bad. Good players play the mode normally to complete the missions. Bad players beg the opponent to give them free kills, and when they don’t, they come here to complain about how everyone’s a tryhard because there’s no one to carry their ass to the Cordite.

I guess I’d understand how difficult it must be for those people to finally realize that perhaps they’re not as good as they think they are. Don’t shift the blame onto something that is clearly 100% dependent on your own skills.

TLDR: mode is great, just too many people here who expect to be carried by their opponents.

For all the previous seasons I was able to quickly skip all the post-game bullshit using my phone's back button (Samsung Note8). This season it seems as though developers disabled that function and now I'm forced to sit through tons of post-game horse crap that I'd rather not. What the everloving fuck devs?

1v1 Duel matchmaking is complete garbage

Getting matched up with nothing but level 150 legendaries, I don’t see myself ever completing the Cordite challenge. It’s not that I suck, my K/D ratio is 3.26 and my win rate is above 50%. Being matched up with legendaries when you aren’t even close to that tier is just unfair matchmaking. Also haven’t found someone who doesn’t just care about getting kills. At this point, I’m about to download COD mobile on another phone then do private matches against that account in order to finish the Cordite challenge.

So I’m playing 1v1 right, and I get paired up with this guy who speaks Spanish only, and I speak English....I ask him for the win and he replies in Spanish. I had to translate from Spanish to understand what he was saying but I understood that he also needed wins, so I let him have the game, as a token of appreciation for teaching a bit of Spanish, all of which I have since forgotten though😔

-absurd desync
-silent footsteps deletes a important mechanic of the game and needs a nerf
-mp mode has matchmaking that sometimes put players againt an all bots team
-1v1 has the worst dsync in the game its unplayable
-you guys need to stop changing mechanics without giving patch notes... the movement mechanics is always changing... its sooo anoying...
-also BR is just the bug mode as whole... dsync , sounds, vests, guns fusing with it all... vests is hideous and buggy
-backpacks are supper buggy

DEVS , Please remove the new feature to choose ranked game modes

Dear Devs ,
Even though the new system of choosing the type of match that we want to play in Ranked is convenient its not good here's the reason why.
1. It removes the skill to have versitility to win the matches . If i just keep playing team deathmatch camping the whole time in a corner killing people i will win those matches and i will rank up which i clearly dont deserve cause i didnt get better at the game.
2. It removes the necessity to think about what loadout should we build . A domination loadout is vastly different from that of SnD . But if i have the option to choose what i play i will just keep playing the same mode with no need to apply my brain to make loadouts fit for different circumstances . It Shallows the deepth of game choices.
3. Only getting good at one thing , for example Team Deathmatch does not qulifies me to get the "legendery tier" . A legendery tier player must be good at everything not in just one mode where he camps the whole time.
4. Increased waiting times for ranked matches for Domination and Hardpoint are increased due to the fact that many players only play TDM so they can safely push up their ranks
So Devs , please i urge you to remove this new system of allowing the players to choose ranked matches it takes away the depth of the game and makes it bkand. Thank you !

Crashing after few seconds opening app

This started happening couple of days ago. I've had black screen from time to time but this is new. Using Razer Phone II and not sure if other android users are getting the same issue.

I tried uninstalling and re-install but the installing took a few tries as I got google play errors at first. I ultimately ended up installing it after few tries but this problem came back.

My CoDm account got reset for no reason.

A little backstory on this acc; This was an acc that I’ve been using since even before season 1. It was linked to my FB acc,and I have no other accounts other than this. Today a played a few games and decided to take a break and watch a couple YT vids. I finished my games and closed the app. (take note: i closed the app and not actually logged out.)

I go back to CoDm and i click the FB login option as I usually do but this time a pop up appears on my screen. It asks me to verify my account. I click it and takes me to the FB app where it says “Continue as alxthym” and I click that and it takes me back to CoDm where I now have to make a new username meaning i have to make a new acc. Why and how did this happen. there was no ban notice and my acc simply just reset. How do i recover this account?

Game goes black

Anybody got this weird bug where suddenly everything goes black? You can still hear everything, controls works (you can shoot and walk as you hear it)? Never got any bug with codm, this happen to me several time now... even in spectator mode... once, i jumped off an helicopter, then everything goes black only the 3d model of the helicopter stay for some seconds and goes black too... (sorry for my bad english)

Can you get used to Hip Fire settings using only 4 fingers?

I have everything set so that when i click the shoot button, my gun aims down sight and shoots in one action. Ideas for the future

Bruh am I the only one that wants more attachments/ perks added to the game? Like why isn’t there sleigh of hand in this game, or bling, or rapid fire. There should also be stopping power and HARDCORE MODE. Imagine running a gun like an ASM-10 or an HG-40 with rapid fire. Makes the game more interesting IMO. Also, can there be more pistol secondaries and skewers(ballistic knives)? I would love to see the rk5 and/or the kap-40 in this game. I would also like to see awesome cross-map kills with the ballistic knives. Speaking of which, can the tomahawk get a boost to its throwing distance, as well as the killcams following a tomahawk if that’s the final kill? There should also be more options for scopes, like target finders or thermals like in bo2 and bo3

Today I was playing PUBG Mobile and I saw something that would be interesting for the CoD Mobile team to add to the game, which is Character Creation, it would be really cool for you to be able to create / customize a soldier inside CoD Mobile. It would also be an alternative for people who do not spend in-game, since you prefer to add characters through lootbox and roulette. And CoD Mobile is the mobile game that has virtually no customizable content.

Another example of character creation that you could be inspired by is GhostRecon Breakpoint Character Creation.

Kill streaks not working SnD ranked?

If I get a killstreak (UAV for example) in ranked search and destroy, if I don’t call it in that same round, I can’t use it. When I spawn the next round, there’s an outline around the killstreak but I’m unable to use it.

Is this supposed to happen? Does this happen to anyone else?

Well, I’m giving up grinding for this gun. 15 kills with a shotgun (never, ever use one, hate them) 15 kills with a sniper rifle at close range against all these six finger ballet boys (girls) with PDW’s? I mean the dancing and flying and hopping about is just hysterical. I want to hold up score cards like they do for figure skating. Add to it the loony outfits and I’m not sure what the hell game I’m playing.

This isn’t COD, it’s ballroom dancing. What a joke.

RPD Orbit "Iron Sights"

To those that don't know what this means, in the Lucky Draw for the Cordite, there is an RPD skin that has possibly the best iron sights in the game. Honestly, the iron sights don't even feel like an iron sight or even a red dot. Would you think possibly that the "Iron Sights" might be a Hybrid sight (multiple sights into 1 sight? Meaning that the "Iron Sight" is both an actual Iron Sight and a Red Dot combined?

I need teamates for the team round of the championship. I am currently master I in mp and although I like to main snipers I am a lot better with the icr1 so that's what I use for tough matches. My kd is 1.75 because I play the objective (no matter if I die a lot) and my accuracy is pretty good I have more than 25000 kills so I'd say I'm ok at the game.

I don't think I want someone a lot better than me because I don't want them to have carry me and for the team to not feel fair. Just dm me for more info.

Also is there any other way I could move forward in the tournament if I'm not 18? Thank you for taking the time from your day to read this

This game littererly made my brother cry.

Now you may think that this is fake but it isn't. My bro wuz playing ranked tournament in the third qualifier. He told me he wasn't going to go for the tournament but just for the rewards. He got search and destroy five times and lost all of them. (this was before the mode selection option) he then did three more games and lost all of them. He started to cry after that and gave up. He told me that he was lagging and got killed randomly when going across crossfire and summit when going to the hardpoint. Now he is actually a good player. He's in master 2 and plays with me. Codm please just take a maintenence brake and fix the lag or God's sake. If anyone's curios he was playing on a moto g7

New FB account: what will happen?

Hi, I had a FB account linked to cod mobile but stopped playing for a bit and removed the app permissions in FB. I started playing again and In cod mobile I still can see my FB profile picture and there’s no option to restore the link.

I have a new FB account with a goofy profile pic just for Cod Mobile. Now when the game starts, after the loading screen, I can select where to log in (guest, FB, apple, cod). What will happen if I link my new FB account? I’m afraid I’m going to lose my weapons, skins etc.

Cryo bomb - put it in my loadouts?

So I just unlocked the cryo bomb, but I'm not sure it outclasses the trophy system in terms of uses. I mean like the trophy system can last you a long time , not to mention is destroys SMRS's, War Machines, grenades, Sparrows, you name it. Crucial especially for Dom or HP when you're tryna hold down an angle for your teammates to secure the obj. Maybe it's because I haven't used the cryo bomb yet, but I just don't see it being more useful than the trophy system.

Anyone who's used the cryo bomb, feel free to lmk your thoughts on it.

Idea: Add a toggle for secondaries and grenades on/off

Add a toggle switch for secondaries and grenades for whoever is selecting the 1v1 mode on the second/third round. I’ve made gentlemans agreements to not use pistols on snipers and then my opponent pulls out the MW11 when it’s 4-4. Or having to play on top a trophy in a melee match because all my opponent does is spam grenades is super annoying. If you’re able to turn secondaries/grenades off and on, it is 100% clear at the start of the round what is and isn’t allowed.

Should denying kills in 1v1 with SMRS remove points from you?

Just played a 1v1 match where someone picked rockets, but it was incredibly frustrating because every time I had the advantage they just shot themselves, denying the kill and making sure only when they had advantage would they make a hit. Do you guys think doing that should remove points or give points to the enemy?

Sever Lag issues

Anyone else having issues with lag?
The game textures reload for no reason when the timer (before the game begins) hits 1, and I'm having some REAL frame drops!! I can be playing perfectly for 5 mins and the next thing you know the game decides it wants to run at 10fps.
Also I get these 'lag spikes ' where the game just flat out FREEZES for a split second for no reason what so ever.
Then you have the server lag. Where the game says you're at 35ms(ping) but in reality the game is at like 170ms.
I cant be the only person being affected by this.

Select ranked mode ruined

So, the point of playing rank was to be the best or at least to know which level of gameplay you had no matter the mode or the map. You had to adapt your skills for the situation.
But I think the select mode absolutely ruined ranked matches. Now we will have legendary player who will know how to play only one gameplay, have no idea how to adapt or even players who get carry even more easily.

Being legendary, or master or whatever, will mean absolutly nothing, loosing the point of playing ranked matches.

If the Dev want to leave the select mode, I think they should divide the ranked between all the modes. Meaning you can be legendary in domination but elite in SnD

Despite many people complaining, CODM is the best mobile game. Here’s why.

Note: Before you accuse me of CP-finishing, I already can afford CP if I need to, as I manage my finances enough to do what I need.

But after playing a plethora of mobile video games, CODM is the best one I have ever played. Of course there are some negatives like crates (form of gambling), matchmaking (rarely bad for me, at least), and hackers out there (I haven’t experienced any luckily) but there are so many positives.

  1. Essentially no Pay-to-Win system. This game gives every weapon (other than the HBRa3, for now)/perk/specialist for free or by grinding. You are able to reach Legendary in MP or BR without spending a dime, and get some cool items along the way.

  2. Premium Battle Pass. It’s cheap - for me it was like $11 CAD which is a meal at a fast food restaurant. You don’t have to buy it, but the best part is it pays off over time, giving you skins, credits and CP which can be used to get the next seasons BP. Basically it’s a one time payment.

  3. Updates and content. New modes and content are always being added. New guns, new modes and new maps come to this game every month, and sometimes weekly. Events are updated and fun to grind. BR is actually fun and works well (except for the mic hiccups occasionally in squads).

  4. Social Aspect. I have made friends on this game who I play with and even though we live like a plane ride away, it’s fun to team up with people and chat in rooms and in games.

  5. Compatibility. You can play on almost any iPhone, iPad, Android phone, Android Tablet made in the last 4 or 5 years. I play on an iPad where my friend is on their Galaxy and another on an iPhone and it works.

  6. My favourite reason NO REFILL METER. I LOVE how there’s no currency used to play, like some other games have where you have like “5 energy.” You can literally play for hours with different people in different modes in different maps.

It’s good to ask for recommendations and pitch ideas, but be also grateful this game gives you so much for free and if you have some spare cash/gift cards laying...

Question about using VPN to get lower item prices

I heard lots of ppl use VPN to create accounts in regions with lower item prices (like India), and the item prices will remain the same even after they turn off the VPN and log in by their real IP address (they not in areas like India though). Was wondering if this might lead to bans on their account, as it’s kinda unfair to those who paid for regular prices. Thx in advance!

Opinion about ranked mode selection being a temporary feature should it be permanent?

I think ranked is a great part to this game that makes it more competitive but I don’t think the random mode select is a good feature. We should be able to have a selection on the mode we play and as a Legendary(not boosted like others can be) you can bear with me when we get 5 games of domination in a row or just domination and hard point for 10 straight matches. There is more variety with mode selection and it allows people to play what they like instead of random games all the time.

Why does my character stops shooting when im clearly pressing the screen hard enough it just happens randomly mid spray it just STOPS and boom im dead please tell me someone has the same problem as me and NO, I am pressing hard enough and I have my 3d touch set up on 45 both and i even set my 3d touch to “light” on my ios . never had this problem on pubg smh 🤦🏻‍♂️

Cordite vs RUS

I'm an SMG main and been trying out the Cordite. I don't know the numbers behind it (TTK and all that shit), but I feel that the RUS is packs more punch and finishes more quickly than the Cordite. Also killing more in matches using the RUS vs the Cordite on TDM ranked as an experiment.

Is it just me or was I expecting too much from the Cordite?

BR Sniper Bullet Drop

Has anyone done any research on bullet drop over distance when sniping? The scope reticles are graduated to show how to change your aim over distance, but I don’t know if that’s cosmetic from game design. I’ve done plenty of sniping in MP but in BR the distances can be much greater. I’ve watched Hawksnest’s stuff on YT but haven’t seen anything about this topic. Anyone got any experience here?

BLACKOUT CRASHS ARE GETTING STUPIDLY MORE FREQUENT

I had the app crash a total of 8 times in the last 24 hours. At least 5 were in the middle of ranked BR, the rest ranked MP.

IT’S BECOME SO BAD I AM ANTICIPATING IT EVERY MATCH. Changing my gameplay to the point I’m as near as possible to a building or in it with cover way more than my style of play pre-crash fear. Just in case I have to worry about my guy standing there with his dick in his hand as I’m counting the seconds starting at the logos for our dear devs.

This was a once every 12 hours or so played occurrence when it began in March. It’s avalanched in frequency.

I have very good internet and I’m 10ft from the WiFi router. Average ping between 45-60ms. I’m also playing on a iPhone 8s that’s a champ.

Please devs, address this. It’s happening to all of us more and more.

Quick scoping or no scoping does not register the shots

I am trying to get better with dlq with quick scoping and no scoping but when i try shot fast before i see the enemy on the scope it wont shoot. Tigon hasp posted a video a week ago proving the hip fire is faster for this reason. I am pretty sure its not an issue with my timing.

Does anyone else have this issue?

Secondary in sniper 1v1

I see a lot of players here complaining about secondaries allowed in sniper battles on the saloon map .
Imo a sniper with a default scope is the best gun on this map even against an AR player .
The map is really small so everything is in your view , absolutely no place to hide , almost all objects are wall-bangable .
My strategy is , just pick up a sniper go to 1 of the 2 primary spawns(not the one in the house) and just start banging away .
Enemy will respawn either inside the house or on the opposite spawn and will get sniped again with nowhere to run .
If you are losing to a pistol player in a sniper round , maybe your strategy is wrong or you are not confident in your skills .

How accurate is the Kill Cam

So until playing 1V1 I didn't get to see alot of killcams and really pay attention. But when I'm dieing it's like I didn't even get off a shot on the guy. On my end it looks like I was the one who got the jump and used up half a clip. My end vs the kill cam is like a good amount difference in time. Is this desync and nothing to worry about it or all these guys like 1 second ahead of me real time and I'm behind.

Is there a setting in the game due to which the entire right side on your screen becomes one giant fire button?

I recently downloaded the game on another phone (iPhone) and my right fire button is missing and instead the right side of the screen becomes a fire button. Now this is very annoying for me as I have left index finger to shoot and right thumb for view(4Claw). Is there a solution?

Note that in custom control layout, my normal setup is showed but not in-game.

Does anyone else want some modern weapons featured in the Modern Warfare series? I know I do!

I don’t know about you guys, but I just want some good ol’ real and modern weapons! I’m getting kinda sick of the consistent fictional weapon pattern. I would love to see some of these - it doesn’t have to be all, just a few to give a more modern and nostalgic kick to the game:

SMGs - MP7, MP5, Uzi, Bizon, P90, UMP45

Assault - a better looking M4 like the M4a1, AUG, FAL, SCAR, G36

Sniper - Barrett M82 .50, AWM, Dragunov, maybe the Kar98 for fun

Shotguns - 725, SPAS-12,

LMGs - PKP, SAW, M60

Sights - more modern red dot and holo sight, mini red dot for pistols, maybe different reticle? ( I’m asking too much 😆)

I disagree with the post "The reason why you hate 1v1s" and here's why...

When we think of PUB matches vs Ranked matches, we always expect PUBS to be easier in comparison. PUBS have always been there for casual play. Even the Legendary ranked frames I see in PUBS, hardly ever tryhard (and if they do, we can always tryhard back. Have got full clans to rage-quit by triple capping them). The matter of being bad comes later. The main cause of suffering for these casual players (who are the primary audience complaining) is the simple fact: Everyone sees 1v1, and seriously play for honor & glory, and tryhard more than they'd tryhard in ranked. The element of casualness is gone, as we are simply left with a mode which is akin to playing a professional scrim, or a tournament, just in a 1v1 format. Not everyone wants such a serious game mode. Some just wants to casually do 1v1, not for honor or glory.

This is the main problem. Being bad comes secondary. There are many bad players in PUBS but they don't complain about PUB matches much simply because the element of casualness is still there. It's just 1 or 2 games where they get full clans (or 5 men squads) tryharding. Rest of the games are still casual. But 1v1 mode, which comes under PUB matches, is something entirely different. Tryhards are in every game, and if not tryhards, then ACOG Artic spammers with SMRS and trip mines or KN/BK/RPD campers etc, doing anything for the win. This simply doesn't fulfill their expectation, and then they inevitably complain.

Now, we can't do much about it since we can't control the players playing the game. But what we can do is build awareness regarding the casual element. If you want to seriously 1v1, you can always do it in private matches. Let PUB 1v1 mode still be casual and be such that everyone can have fun, instead of some elites stomping on players with lesser skill than them. That is no fun, for the higher skilled player, and for the lower skilled player.

In my 50+ matches, I have played most matches casually, and only get serious when the other person is tryharding. If I'm 4-0 in the lea...

Round one: as soon as spawn kill your opponent once after that just keep killing yourself with smrs

Round two: do the same but if they pick melee only or pistols only use frag grenade to keep killing yourself this time

And usually the opponent will rage quit before you even get a chance to get to round two but works like a charm

Controller Players are at an Unfair Advantage......

I am Master IV in ranked and half of the players i go up against either have emulators (which is okay) or Controllers (which is dumb). Most Deaths and losses in my game go to those pesky controller players which gain an advantage over the moving around without using the phone, they always are in my game and i don't even have a controller, Cod Mobile needs to find a way to fix that from happening where phone users can somehow play with Controller Players.

Lag Issue after new update...

I have been having lag issues since the new update before the update my ping would be stable at around 50...and after the update it's been between 60 to almost 150.....never stabilizes.

This has seriously affected the ability to play ranked and even normal matches.

My rank is MASTER 1(multiplayer) is there any fix to this and am I the only one with this problem?

Why it's bad for you guys? Console games having it from long time but still it's enjoyable .. Once there was news that may be we can select rank modes and it din't come out ,you were complaining where is rank mode selection and now it"s here so some guys saying it's bad .. it means in every way we have to complain? A legitimate Question

So on Friday night May 15th as an early birthday present to myself in true dork fashion i bought myself the cordite zero g... so far it’s not allowed me to play any better but that’s beside the point 😓Supposedly when you equip the gun itself, the j358 zero g & the trip mine zero g it increases MP match XP by 25%. last night whether i lost or won a whole lot of XP was either being added or taken off. Today on the other hand whether a win or lose only a tiny bit of XP is gained or loss. At this point i’m worried about the little gaining! I feel like i’m getting -25% added to each match....not sure what’s going on. Anybody have any insight on these things??

F forplayers who help people who needed help in 1v1

so it was a nice sunday morning and i was at the mission of kill 15 enemies with shotgun so i gave it a try it was hard but i was able to complete it the next one is the same but this time with a sniper and was a bit hard since it's been a while i used the sniper and the more i play the game mode the more I'm pissed so i had an idea to quit if either A) I'm losing and they're not helping or B) they're not responding to my help and i got frustrated so i took a break and then i was able to perform better than before and i even stumbled to a nice guy that helped me out completing the mission and i look at me now almost done with the cordite mission

Maps not loading ( 90% then dc )

Hey,

so has anyone else had an issue with getting into a match. I have updated the game and played numerous matches of 1v1 etc, however as of today I cannot join any matches it just gets to the loading screen and continuously states I have disconnected or have a bad connection. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if completely uninstalling and reinstalling worked for them before I bite the bullet. I’ve tried wifi and mobile network as well as tethered with my phone. I’m using an iPad.

Increasing the level Cap

Since most of the players have hit level 150 and want devs to increase the level cap, let's also give devs some advice on it rather than just demanding. So these are few suggestions for level up rewards :

  1. Common Version of guns like HBRa3, Razorback, Man-O-War.
  2. Some new perks, such as immunity perk against Hive traps and Shock RC.
  3. New Scorestreaks, such as Air Strike.
  4. New Operator skills such as Invisibility shield.
  5. Rare and Epic Varients or Camos of guns at special levels, such as an epic camo as level 200 reward.
  6. New Soldiers.
  7. More Loadout Slots.
  8. Common Variant of more new weapons, such as Kar98k, Vector, M249, etc.

DL Q33 vs Artic 50.

BUT! I don't mean which gun is better. That's always a debate. My question is. Which gun takes more skill to use. The Artic has a smaller one shot hit box but you can spam more shots while the DLQ has a long time between shots but a bigger one shot hit box. Soooo, which gun do you guys think takes more SKILL to use? (For those quickscopers among you, take note that the Artic has a slightly faster scope in animation)

Gold Bars

Are we going to have use of the Gold Bars again next season?

More gold bar events would be good. I completed the objective but I'm still gaining gold bars that are of no use right now.
