To Claw or To Squid

So I changed to claw after moving to my iPad a couple weeks ago, and although I’m already in legendary, I simply have problem with my movement. It’s super uncomfortable for me to move backwards once I start sprinting. Now I’m contemplating using a 6 finger layout, but I don’t know if it would help. Any thoughts?

Change in rank matchmaking

I have been losing 10 matches straight from morning.
I tried everything to get good teammates-world chat, Facebook, discord, YouTube discords and what not.
Why is this happening? I went from master 3 to master 1 straight down!!!!
This is just not fair. How is every opponent team member better in every matchmaking. Why am I not in that team!!!!???

BY-15 broken?

The BY-15 is one of the most used shotguns and due to good reason. It's also very inconsistent, sometimes killing an enemy with full health upto 20m away or even further if the enemy is low. The other most comparable shotgun is the HS0405 which is objectively worse at everything. I'm not asking for a specific nerf but I feel it needs to be made more consistent. It's a high skill, high reward him and I accept that but in its current state it doesn't fit in to the rest of the meta.

Need help with my loadout

Hey so i realized my loadouts are not working out in master ranked multiplayer. I usually have one smg and then 4 ARs(I'm god awful with a sniper). I usually run with guns that have very little recoil. I'm not sure what guns are meta and fit my criteria but I was wondering if someone could give me good weapon options and attachments? Thank you!

I just lost my account

After exiting the app and restarting it again I found myself logged out and couldn’t log back in.

I previously had a linked account to Garena, but since I’ve not had to actually enter my log in details since the first time I logged in... i can’t actually remember for sure which garena account i used. As far as i can recall I only have two, however both accounts prompted me to make a new character when I logged into them.

My in game name is Marco-poloo and I’m at Master 3 in ranked and I’ve spent money on this game so I would really want to log back in...

Good/bad teammates

I see lately more screenshots if people who complain they’ve lost qualification because of bad team mates, complaining about matchmaking. My question to you is this: did you actually carried the team? What exactly is that you did for that game? We’re you the best in the team and they are the reason you lost? Do explain, because I find it hard to fathom what you consider “bad team mates” or are you just that guy who calls everyone a noob in the voice chat and dies first?

Lucky Draw Prices are too high.

Why is it that the highest amount of CP in the CP store ($100 USD) isn’t enough for a full lucky draw? Why are they THAT expensive? The price should be cut in half since it makes sense that the most amount of CP you can buy at a time could get you almost anything.

Does CODM like to humiliate people?

I was almost Legendary, and have lost 15 of the last 16, ranked. My team never even comes close to winning. Hardpoint score 44-150, SnD score 1-5, TDM score 29-50. There's just no way this is happening by chance. The exact same thing happened to me last season until all of a sudden, I was on the other side and won like 20 of 22 in a row to go Legendary. Sadism, I swear to god

The BK just feels too slow

Call me crazy and I know many people will say it's the best gun in the game. But! To me it's not because of Sprinting speed being to slow and Aiming Speed to slow. These 2 reasons and the icing on the cake is I like the recoil pattern better on LK, 117 for instance. Surely I can't be the only one that wants those extra ms speed.

How long to play to get used to phone again?

Got an iPad 7th gen. Tried claw 4 fingers for 3 weeks.

Got used to claw but I still cant find a comfortable position.

I always end up over extending fingers and moving using left thumb always requires over extension which gets in the way of shooting cos I have to change position of my left index finger.

It's a mess. Claw is good but its uncomfortable and causes me strain in my fingers. Thumb is worse for being a good player but more comfortable.

Anyway going back to phone I found more problems. Because of getting used to the ipad screen size... now I cant seem to see shit on the phone.

Feels so small. It's an s10 plus.

How many hours of playing on the phone again for my eyes to adjust and it feels normal again?

I got to pro 1 on my phone over many months and used to not be so bad In ranked. Now it's like I'm a total noob all over again.

Also what's the best FOV on a phone?

Crates and Lucky Draws

I’m really upset by COD mobile and their decision to keep both lucky draws and bundles in the game. The bundles aren’t even worth it anymore. I just watched fergs video of him spending $700 to get the ASM10. When is this going to change? I don’t even feel like playing when they’re literally trying to rip us off. Get rid of the crates and draws because it’s literally gambling. We think we have a chance to get what we want but we don’t. Look at Ferg’s video for Christ sakes, 700 dollars for a skin...

My Opinion on What Should Be Added/ Changed to Ranked

I’ve been playing ranked for a while now and have achieved legendary rank for multiple seasons in a row. These are my personal desires on what should be added/ changed to the ranked mode for a more competitive and fair environment:

  1. Banning all rare, epic, and legendary skin variants on weapons
  2. Banning trip-mines, SMRS, and (if they get added) claymores and bouncing bettys
  3. Banning all score streaks except the predator missile
  4. Banning all LMGs, Shotguns, and semi-auto snipers such as the Arctic 50, M21 EBR, and XPR 50
  5. Removing maps such as Cage, Scrapyard, Crash, Crossfire, Rust, Nuketown, Hijacked, and Killhouse from the rank map selection (yes I know some of these maps aren’t in the playlist or are impossible to play on in ranked, I just listed them for clarification purposes)
  6. Removing TDM from the game mode rotation and replacing it with CTF
  7. Banning all operator skills
  8. Banning perks such as: Persistence, Tracker, and Alert

These are some changes that could exponentially improve the ranked mode experience inside of the game. Lastly, I would like to mention that they should revert the points system back to how it was in S1 where you were punished more heavily for losing. Only the best of the best should make it towards the top of the ranks. Thanks for reading bros 👊.

Autofire BUG vs prone targets

Does anyone else have this issue?! I have experienced this countless times in so many games. I use auto fire and it works great in most situations EXCEPT for when an enemy is prone. I will hover my crosshairs over the enemy and my gun just will not fire. I just played a S&D ranked match and was directly behind a proned opponent for seconds, aiming straight down on his friggin spine and my gun simply would not shoot. He ended up slowly turning around, seeing me and killing me. WTF how do I fix this??

Cheaters, a LOT of cheatera

So recently, I've been playing matches with a lot cheaters. The Asian server is just filled with it. I can't play a single ranked match without a cheater. So right before posting this, I was playing with a whole squad of cheaters. One player was sniping with a M16 with 0 recoil, another one was just shooting through the wall with an M16 (probably wall hacks), and then there was this player who was sniping a war machine through a wall. Me and my friends were so offended that we just left the game. Is it just me or is the Asian server filled with such filth

Rework matchmaking.

Title. TL;DR: Players should be put with and against players with similar KD.

I played the third championship qualifier without a premade team as I did in the two past qualifiers with mild success. I won the maximum rewards in those occasions but even then I noticed the terrible matchmaking the game has by putting you with players with extremely low KD (1.20-1.40 average). This time, I lost most of the matches and consequently lost the most valuable rewards, again due to bad teammates, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I'm not saying that I'm an expert player and that the game should only put pros at my side, but having a team of one player with +2.0 KD and the other ones with KDs below 1.50 should not be a thing. Matching players with similar KDs (say, 1.80 with 1.90, 1.30 with 1.40 and so on) could improve the feeling of ranked and feel less of a gamble about winning or losing.

This is also an issue the other way around: you could have a team of seasoned players, but the enemy team happens to be random professional-level players solo queing as well that happened to be bunched together.

KD needs an improvement as well and the reason is simple: bots are taken into consideration when calculating it. This makes absolutely no sense and it's the reason why it is pretty common to see extremely bad performing players in public matches with a KD above 3.0. By removing bots affecting KD, the suggestion I mentioned can be implemented more effectively as well in both ranked and public matches.

During a RANK match I was teamed up against a hacker who could spawn at our objective (domination mode ) this lead to my team only have long the B objective which made it impossible to win. With the lost of the rank match, I now cannot qualify again for the rank event. I feel Activision needs to work harder there are too many hackers.

. Please fix your matchmaking system, its bonkers. Dont put us on already started games that with teams that are already losing. And match players with the same ping please. Im tired of losing because of quitting, lagging, and afk teammates, i rather lose on a strong team, atleast we lose fighting head on. Should we have the option to trade weapons? Perhaps on a weapon for a weapon basis, and only of the same tier.

I suggest this as some people might miss events that a weapon was part of, were unable to unlock it in a challenge, or just don't like a particular weapon or skin.

Buzzing Bees on Rust

Hey Dev's can you pls remove the buzzing sound from rust? at first it was all okay and cool but recently it gets so annoying i mean idk what really happened but that buzzing sound constantly starts playing and it won't stop, and trust me Dev's that was so fuking annoying. Sick of cheaters... so sick of them

I am so sick of all the cheaters in this game already. Been playing for a week and its a never ending story of low lives using cheats to win. The most common cheat I see is some level 3 with a sniper rifle and an aim-bot. Like, dude we can see your sniper rifle snapping on to targets and following targets through the wall in the kill cam, obvious aim-bot is obvious. Imagine, being so bad at a video game that you need to cheat to win and feel good about yourself? I have also seen 2 or 3 people who are invisible so you can't see them to kill them, and a couple more players who are invincible and can't be killed. How is the game fun when the enemy team can shove a predator missile down your throat but you won't die? -_-

Pharo needs a nerf

Pharo has become the new s36 especially for snd matches. Shotguns are one shot but atleast you have to aim and cant fire consecutively. Pharo is a shotgun with smg’s firing speed.in maps like crash especially all they have to do is camp in the stairs. No brain no skills just fire away.

Hardpoint wins are totally based on spawn

Do you guys agree that the winner of hardpoint ranked matches are totally dependant on who gets the luckiest spawn? I could be defending a hardpoint and the entire team will spawn two seconds away. Offensively, it would spawn me on the other side of the map, wasting precious seconds actually fight for the hardpoint. For me the map with biggest issues are crossfire and summit. the places where they selected the hardpoint are absolutely horrid. Atleast make the spawns closer, when the hardpoint is on the edge of the map.

Unable to spectate sometimes, after dying in Battle Royale. Why can't I spectate always after dying in Battle Royale?

I started playing CODM just 9 days back and been playing Battle Royale mostly and recently reached Master. Before reaching Master I was mostly able to spectate from my killer's perspective after dying, probably very few times I died when game closed for no apparent reason and was not able to spectate. But past 2-3 days I am unable to spectate after dying, as in the spectate button is not shown only exit is shown. Also since reaching Master I get killed by suspicious players, as in I got 1 shot through level 3 armor and having full 150hp from about 500metres away while running from cover to cover.

Why can't I spectate always after dying in Battle Royale?
I have also started noticing suspicious players every 7-8 matches, is it some hack to block being spectated so they don't get identified while using cheats/hacks? Since 2-3days I am able to spectate around 3/10 matches after dying, around 4/10 unable to spectate.

Annoying issue recently in ranked matches

Recently I’ve had this issue in ranked matches where someone turns a corner and almost instantly kills me, but when I look at the killcam they saw me way earlier than I saw them. On my screen I’ll see them for maybe a quarter of a second, but the killcam shows that they see me for over a second before killing me, giving them plenty of time to notice me, aim, and start shooting. I only notice this in ranked matches, but that’s probably because there are actually good players there who can kill me pretty quickly. And yes, this happens even when they don’t have a UAV.

Does anyone know what causes this issue, and is there a way to fix it?

The Pharo doesn't need a nerf

Yes, it kills insanely fast up close. But, that doesn't mean that its close range performance needs a nerf. Instead of considering it an SMG, think of it as a shotgun. Although it kills slower than a shotgun, it is a bit more forgiving about your accuracy. I don't get angry at all when I'm erased by a Pharo user, when I'm using an AR. Why should I? It's like get angry about a sniper killing me at long range. It simply isn't an AR's optimal range. I would try to engage the Pharo user at mid ranges, where I have a huge advantage.

Also, the Pharo is a burst weapon. If you miss an initial burst, you're almost certainly dead. If they do change anything about it, they should increase the damage drop-off at mid ranges, making it less versatile. Reducing close range damage would ruin the weapon, like what happened to my boy, the MSMC.

Tournament matchmaking

This happened to me today i had won 8/10 games and was pretty confident to enter the tournament. As soon as i entered the tournament i started getting paired up with atleast 2 player from pro-4/5 every game, my level is master 3 and now after those 10games are over suddenly i m again being paired with players near my rank. Maybe bad luck maybe i m not good enough or maybe the matchmaking needs to improve 😔

Game pacing

The game pacing of each match is like black ops 3 or black ops 4, with sliding and all that stuff, and you can run like really fast, compared to the game pacing in games like black ops 2 where you’d feel like you’d run normally compared to the mobile version, and there was no sliding.

I wonder if this game could be good if it had the black ops 2 game pacing and no black ops 3 or 4, like pro evasive movement could include only jumping, crouching, proning, and/or strafing, and no sliding.

I am not complaining in the mobile version. I am just saying that if you look at it at a certain view, the matches are high paced. Your movement can be so high paced, i mean, basically even running

CoD emulator delayed movement.

After a break I restarted playing Call Of Duty using the game loop emulator. But I have noticed that my movement speed is reduced. Not only that, whenever I press a key on keyboard, the movement is delayed. Instead of sudden movements it's starts gradually. So I can't use the quick movements. If I alternately press A and D for sudden movements, the character almost stands still. Is it just me or is anyone else facing this issue. Or is it a feature idk. How to fix this? Thanks in advance.

Over excited players need to Calm!

I don't know who needs to hear this but the best way to play team deathmatch/dom is to not leave your spawn area and go into the opponent's. Because if you do that the opponent starts spawning in your area and that causes ur teammates to get killed who were very well killing the opponent by circling in own spawn. Stop running into opponent's spawn and dying and also killing ur teammates!

If playing 4 finger on iPhone, why play on hip fire instead of ADS?

When playing hip fire, you have two hip fire buttons. Why wouldn’t you want 1 hip fire button, 1 aim and fire button, and an aim button?

Why waste the time pressing the aim button when you could be pressing the jump button and aim and shoot all at the same time. I see the pros playing hip fire for everything but snipers, I don’t see how that’s better.

I can't reach master 5. Everytime I'm very close, this fucking stupid ranked matchmaking gives me teammates that have -200 IQ and enemy team is full of rushing pieces of shit. Also do you have any tips to get better (I'm claw phone player)? I'm shit at movement so any movement tips would be very appreciated.

Lag compensation is INSANE at the moment. I'll keep this toned down.

Devs, it's time to add more servers with a capped ping limit to keep people literarily within 10-20ms of each other, right now whatever the hell you have going on with your netcode is completely fucking over lower latency connections to the point that this game is worse in that department than MW warzone. Keep it fair for lower latency connections as well, right now it's impossible to play at around 30ms ping versus anyone with over 100ms ping. Tested this yet again on my two phones, one on a fiber optic connection, the other on high latency 100ms+) t mobile data, side by side. Everything I did on my fiber optic connection was delayed on the t mobile connection's end, however, everything I did on my t mobile connection was almost instant on my fiber connection's end. Might have to completely start attempting to play this game more often on my data connection, that is if I don't keep getting black screen issues and getting fucked over by bugs.

Annoying *bug?

So, this happens all the time, I rarely have high ping or lag issues, maybe some sync issues but not lag. I've switched to almost exclusively playing on ios because my note 10+ is having sound issues that make the game unplayable for me. The issue is when I plant a sentry gun, it's like the rubber band lag effect. It happens every time and the only way to get away is to kill an enemy or die. Or thats been my experience. It's as if I'm tethered by a bungie cord to it. The same does NOT happen when planting a SAM turret. It's weird and annoying. BTW, has the sound issues been addressed for Android? I know my phone is more than capable to run codm on max settings because I've been doing so until the sound issue got so bad.

To further elaborate, it would be nice for us to toggle both our and enemy tier 3 armor helmets on or off in BR since it makes some skin looks god ugly.

To prevent imbalances, the visible changes will only apply to us, and won't be server-sided

I don’t get the fucking algorithm

So I was playing the ranked matches, the ones that count for the tournament, and I was getting hardpoint over and over again. Naturally, I had 2 functional teammates and 2 afk/bots on my team, and the enemy had all participating and skilled members. Every time I died, Every time, it would spawn me as far away from the hardpoint as possible. It didn’t matter wether we had the point or not, I would get sent to the far side of the map every time. I don’t know where the enemy was spawning, but it was enough for them to beat us 149-150 last round. I am sick of this shit, and want to know why it is happening.

Season 7 buffs and nerfs

I think the following buffs and nerfs will make the game a lot more balanced

Buffs:

Icr & m4 - increase damage
Hvk30 - increase reload speed to 2secs, improve accuracy reduce vertical recoil
Type 25 - improve stability
Mow - improve stability
Outlaw - improve to 1 shot kill like the artic
David mason skin - remove the stupid sunglasses
Kn 44 - improve range

Nerfs:

pdw - reduce magazine size
Pharo - reduce stability
All shotguns - reduce range
All snipers - add more flinch when shot
RC car - nerf damage and range, make it easier to kill

Also give us default skins for the icr and others

I got placed in two ongoing qualification games. I won the one lost the other. I didn't lose rank XP but I don't care about the XP. I lost the qualification game. I ended up needing one more win to advance. But this is just unfair. I clearly had a disadvantage. That one game, ended up making a big difference, since I needed one more win to advance.

Hi, what do you want so that the ranked suit you perfectly ?
What should be added or removed?

For me ;

Add CTF (competition game mode since Black ops I)
Add Takeoff.
(Legendary 7000+, im playing on Takeoff only once)

Remove Crossfire and Crash. (90% are these map for me lmao)
Remove TDM (no need to say why)
Remove OPERATOR SKILL.
Remove UAV, Shock RC, Care package.
Remove SMRS.
Remove TRIP MINE.

I think that it is the modifications to be made to have a game which brings it closer to the skill competition. (Bo2 league remember..)

it's utopian, because the ranked match will surely remain anti-competitive forever and it's a shame, the game has huge potential, but the fact that there are no restrictions between public and ranked.

I would really like to have your opinion on all this, to know if I am alone to think that ranked makes no sense.

RPD Copperhead!

Just to be an idiot, I'm forcing myself to use an RPD in every pub match until I get the bk. Seriously, I've got every single item in the crate except for the bk. But the RPD is special. I've gotten more of them than anything else, it's like the blue tiger stripe smoke grenade kind of common. Now I don't like lmg's just because they slow you down so much and thats not my playstyle but it's also embarrassing. The gun is a laser, you don't have to reload much and it kills pretty darn quick. It's a fantastic option for the icr/m4 crowd. In fact I'm not sure why they would opt for those two over this thing. Throw a holo on it and that scout skin, even if you do horrible no one will make fun of you because they will assume your a bot. It's loads of fun to sit in a corner watching Amazon, stuffing handfuls of captain crunch in your mouth, waiting for your hapless victims to happen by. Love this gun!

Optics and attachments... Or not?

Hi folks! Sometimes on Google or even here on Reddit i find people saying that weapon stats are misleading, incorrect or plain wrong. What do they mean?

Like, for example: the Tactical Scope is bad on ARs because you need aiming speed over more zoom, but the stats say you get more accuracy and range. Is that really true?

Or in another case, "the bullet". If a weapon has 60 damage and can kill with 3 shots, and another has 50 and kills with 4 (numbers completely made up, just for example), will the second weapon 3-shot people with the bullet equipped?

Lastly, i found this italian guy on youtube saying that the Man O War is better completely WITHOUT an optic, to help you ADS faster. Is that so? I would unequip every optic from all my guns if that's really the case (and if the bonus stats are wrong or not worth it).

Can someone explain me all of this in detail, or link me a post or a page with everything about this this topic? Thank you all :)

“Random” matchmaking

I’ve played 7 ranked matches today, and of those 7 ranked matches, only 2 have not been search and destroy. Tencent, activision, whoever is in charge of this, please make the ranked matchmaking either not random, or more random. Search and destroy is an awful game mode for ranked (IMO), and I hate playing it again and again and again.

Samsung Update Messing With Play Store/ Codm

Just yesterday after I updated my 3 month old Samsung A50, my Codm started acting up. I would open it and it would give the " There is an error with the download" message and now I cant play the game. I was working towards finishing my qualifiers and now i cant even play( I was on a solo queue winstreak too). I've reset cache data for the playstore and Cod to no avail. Did I play against a cheater?

I had one match few days ago, there was one player whom i shot multiple times and he just wouldnt die. I thought my game may have been glitching, but then I got a Goliath, I saw the same player again, shot at him continiously until my gun overheated & noticed:

  1. The Game kept glitching everytime I was shooting the player.

  2. Ive never had a player before or after him ever survive basic shots against a Goliath, let alone a whole barrage of shots.

It now occurs to me that He was probably cheating.

But then benefit of the doubt says it could have been a glitch. So my questions again is, was I playing against a cheater?

The pharo was always good it was just it was behind a pay wall so it was underrated. I unlocked the pharo dream crystal and it shreds because of the accuracy perk when you slide,jump or any kind of movement it gives you an accuracy buff which makes it have no recoil so it's really op close-mid range

Suggestions for the Market system

Market needs fixes. Here are some of the things that rankle me.

  • Pricing: Pricing of all things in the market seem to be arbitrarily decided.
    • Epic skins don't offer much except the highlighted effect and yet they are priced 17k more than the rare skins of the same guns, which have similar perks. Imo, that difference could only be justified if they sold legendary skins with death effects at that price. Epic skin prices should be around 10k, not 20k. It's too big of a jump!
    • The xp cards are all super weirdly expensive if you want to buy them using cp. The naming card has the same credit price as it's cp price. Shouldn't the cp price be less and cred price be more? There's an argument about them expoiting gullible whales who don't want to play, but as it is, it's just exploitive. Also, when you change your name the only option that comes is to buy it using cp. You only know about the credit equivalent once it redirects to the market page and you click the small icon. That's verat leasty scummy

  • Crates: Much has already been said already, but even crates make them money, they should atleast have hard caps on how many times someone has to buy a crate to get all items within. Items have 4% or something around that probability of being found in crates. It's exploitive to expect them to buy a crate 20+ times to get the items. And honestly, I'm not sure they even work. I opened crates all season last season and didn't get the arctic, I am tier 80 this season and still haven't got the bk. Are the probabilities even accurate?
    • This is related to the reselling price issue i mentioned earlier; but I really think they should give more credits than 10 if there are duplicate items in the crate. Even epic guns give 500 creds if found duplicate! The same gun that would be priced 20k in the market if it was listed. I get that it's a virtual good and they can price it however they want, but atleaset have some consistency in prices!! You don't get the guns and you get a paltry 10 creds to soothe your ...

So the credits store got updated, and I'm tryna choose between ASM10 Flowing Bronze, KN-44 Ashen Viper, and the HIVE (although the HIVE did get nerfed so it's more between the two AR's). Which of them should I pick up. I'm completely f2p so I'll likely only have enough to get one. Let me know your thoughts on stats and which I should pick. My play style is more map control rather than straight up facing people head on, if that makes sense.

If you’re one to carry FHJ always as your secondary, don’t. Pack an SMRS just in case you or your opponent selects launcher. Else you’re most likely going to be completely reliant on your knifing abilities.

Lucky draws be hitting different

Why is the pricing different for the zero g lucky draws? This was for the unicorn draw as well. Both last draw price being 4500 cp, being the same amount of items as other lucky draws (like current 2 for ex:) even with the msmc space station draw, with both having only epic rarity items aside from main legendary. The msmc draw was only 3900 cp for the last roll. Why the heck is the pricing higher just because the weapon is new??? And let not talk about how when they adding an extra trashy item in it, it goes up to 4300 cp for the last roll. Is the whole freaking draw not expensive enough that you gotta increase the prices as well?

1-v-1 mode is painful, 1 round too many.

I don't mind doing tasks for gear, but it's seriously not fun to suffer through this mode. I'm sure some people like it, but I can't stand it. 1 round would be more than enough. I end up quitting more matches than not, just because I get matches against players who like playing hide-and-seek, literally, they don't want to kill me, they want to run around and hide.

How to get 1400 credits in one day?

TLDR: My friend needs 1400 credits in 24 hours. He already played in this weekend’s world championship qualifier (the third one).

A bunch of expensive items you need shards for seem to be going away from the store in less 24 hours. Why didn’t they give us a notice so we could stop buying shards 10 days ago?

My friend has 93 shards for Dempsey and needs 7 more. But he’s out of credits. Is it possible for him to make 1400 credits to buy the remaining shards today? He already played in the third world championship qualifier.

Unusual lag in-game.

I've been having a hard time completing the seasonal event for Cordite because of this fvking lag. Every game, I am forced to quit knowing I have no chance of winning with this lag. Character teleporting back, hits not registering. I have 60-70ms of ping and I don't see it go above 100ms. But why am I experiencing so much lag?
