Question about FOV

So, now that the FOV thing does make a difference, how much should your FOV be set to? I'm playing on Samsung S10e, so it's the size of an average phone.

Could someone enlighten? Is it up to personal preference or is there an optimal value for the FOV?

I'm talking about the ones who, during a ranked Master 1 game (while trying to get wins for the new M16) decide to hide in the closet on crossfire the entire game and get zero kills. I use 2 phones with cod mobile, one apple and one android. I accidentally clicked facebook login using my android one now it wont open in my apple phone. It only displays "current client version smaller than the last login."

Addition of the new modes to private matches.

I play a tonne of private matches with my friends and was hoping that the new modes - capture the flag, gun game team fight, one shot one kill etc- can or will be added.

These are party modes and I don't see any reason why they can't be added to private games to be played with friends.

Prestige system

Prestige system needs to be implemented and can only be leveled up by playing pubs, that way pubs will be more competitive and have less bots. Xp for the battle pass can be earned by playing any match, BR, pubs or ranked. It'll make things more interesting no mode will be irrelevant anymore and also specific modes should have specific prestige system and it'll fix the matchmaking somewhat. Pls upvote if you agree.

Tournament Qualifier

The game put me in a losing match during my qualifiers, I join in and we are being spawn camped, enemy has VTOL and we are about to be dominated. This is wrong on so many levels. What are the chances they will make it right?
It made it clear I won’t lose ranked XP since I joined late but it totally counted towards my qualifiers.

Does aim assist actually do anything?

Noticed I had it on and when there were two enemies in front of me, I felt some resistance to pull the aim towards one enemy. Not sure if it was my indecision on who to shoot or the aim assist pulling my aim to the space between them? Has this happened to anybody else?

Just qualified playing solo so i'll share my loudouts

got 4 mvps out of 5 matches, used the kn44 and the ak117 and i'd say both are pretty decent to carry games atm.
killstreaks were the RC car thing, uav and counter uav

Dead Silence is a must, Hard Wired for S&D matches and Cold Blooded for domination and hardpoint so you won't get tilted(and killed) by the RCs and hunter killers
1st perk you can go whatever you like but flack jacket adds so much value in domination/hardpoint matches where you have to do the obj/slay cause you're playing with randoms right

the only attachment i'd recomend is quickdraw, especially if you're not playing with agile, the rest can be whatever suits the most your playstyle

If you playing CODM in ranked mode and don't capturing points/hardpoint, you fucking bastards. C'mon, or learn how to play different game modes, or don't play this game anymore. If you are sniping on domination/hardpoint, do it effectively! Today I lost a lot of matches because of players, who sniped instead of capturing points. Battle Royale Sound issue

After the new update I can't consistently connect to teammate speaker. They can hear me, but I cannot hear them. I tried changing the speaker to "all", "team" and "friends", but to no avail. I played 10 games of which only 2 could be connected to speaker. Help?

CODM 2020 Championship Tournament

Is it just me, or ever since the tournament started I have been constantly screwed over by teammates. I don’t mean to be one to complain, but I simply cannot play with randoms anymore. I cannot advance in the tournament if I rarely get teammates that don’t give two flying fucks about the objective. Yes, I advanced through the first round but I see no way in hell I’m advancing again if I get the same teammates. Please fix these before round two begins. Better matchmaking.

Masters IV: They really gotta remove TDM from ranked.... FML can't even qualify for 500 credits since I don't even have 20 points rip

Also, anyone else's SND matches starting with only 3 players on your team? I know it sounds like excuses, I know I really am not even close to a pro player, but I'd expect more than 1/10 wins... I get MVP sometimes so I am not that bad. This is just crazy. I got 5 games TDM all losses, 3 SND and 2 hardpoint and 2/3 times for SND my teams weren't full but the games began whereas in TDM players keep quitting once we fall behind a few kills. This matchmaking is so unbalanced and I know many have said this already, but why does it always feel like I'm paired with the weaker losing team of each game?

Is there any chance they could remove games that count as losses in this championship if teammates quit the game? Especially SND, it is actually bullshit that we lose because 3 is up against 5.

I can't buy season pass cause I am 1.67 money short

why isn't the amount of cod points you need to buy season pass not a whole multiple of minimum cod points package i can buy 80 cp for 79 iNR i need 220 for pass but have to buy 240 cp for 237 inr i have 235.33 INR in my google reward wallet. Also i cant split that 1.67inr from my bank account. and season ends in 1 day so no season 5 rewards...

Unable to download - Google Play Issue?

I've tried multiple times to download the update on Google Play but get the "can't download Call of Duty Mobile" message from the Google play store, even after downloading over 75% of it.

I have tried clearing the data and cache from both the play store and Google play services, restarting my phone, internet connection, etc. I uninstalled the game and tried to start with a fresh download but nothing has changed. Anyone else having a similar issue?

We need a prestige system or a higher level cap. Many of us players have been max level 150 since the end of season one and it will give us something else to work towards. I know we have ranked play but that's done once we hit legendary ( if players don't just stop at master once they get the weapon BP that is. )

Disconnects and uneven teams in championship play

I registered for this championship because I thought I'd be fun and have never tried anything if the sort. However, I've been mathematically eliminated from qualification this first round because I've been on more losing teams than winning.

This is largely because of uneven teams. I'm fairly certain my tasks have started at full capacity but when we get to the score screens I find that some of my teammates have disconnected leaving my team short 1 or 2 players.

How is this fair? I'm not getting a fair shot at qualifying because of some people who disconnect because our team is losing or because of a crappy internet connection. There has to be some mechanism to compensate for this.

I suggest that players who disconnect on purpose be penalized and players on teams that have fewer players than the other team be given a pass to pay another match. Winning teams would still collect their points

Any smart people who place Shields in Domination & Hardpoint along with Trophy Systems? Please help me

I signed up for the tournament, I just want to win the rewards.

Had idiotic team-mates in Domination & Hardpoint.

I was the only one with the Shield.
I captured 'B' twice in one half & my team-mates still couldn't maintain it.

Used the Shield in Hardpoint in Stand-off map to block the entrance through the stairs, a team-mate was guarding that direction as well.

I died & came back to check if someone can jump over the shield or through, there was no way.
Why was he guarding it?!
There were 3 of us with 2 Trophy Systems.
That idiot died as an enemy shot him through the huge middle top part gap of the Shield while he was already ADS.

I'm placing the Shield in Domination to capture 'B', no one is supporting me.
I even placed it after I captured it again to prevent enemies from occupying it from their side.
My team-mates still couldn't secure it.
🤦🏽‍♂️

I need to win 3 more matches out of 5.
I've already played 5 & won just 2.

Someone please help me.
I'm the objective guy & support my team-mates.
I'm not the rusher or killer.

Please fix the Ranked match system

I have been losing matches lately because of the teammates that I have been getting. Like I'm over level 90 but I'm getting level 30-60 teammates. And the bigger problem is the ranks. I am veteran 4 but I'm getting people with elite or veteran 1 but the enemy team is basically only pay to win players. I think that this should be fixed especially now because of the championship. Because of this I lost 4 games. I also think that when somebody is experiencing internet connection problems they are bringing the team down which is very unfair.

Finished wih more points than enemy in A/B/C also DM and still had one troll in first game and one afk in second. Movement speed change afte rtge new update

It looks like it will probably come tomorrow, not today in a few hours as some may expect. Credit Store updates in a few hours same hour of the day where my app refreshes as a new day. What moments have you had were looking back you were a complete noob. Mine was my first BR game. I get in a chopper and my teammate afks. I stay in the chopper as I didn't know you take no fall damage and have a wingsuit. Ended up wasting 10 minutes waiting for the person to come back in the end I jumped and I face planted, for all that time I thought shit, afk guy cost the match. I don’t know what’s happening but after the update my phone starts overheating when i play. This never happened to me even if i play and charge my phone in the same time. I must specify that i have the same graphic settings.

COD Championship points system (suggestion )

I have played 6 matches for the qualifier and I have lost 3 ( reason being players going 0-13 in my team ) . In the same game I had 12-5 and i got 0 points while last player in winning team got 14 points for 6-11 .

I want to suggest a new point system .
Winning team : top 3 = full points , bottom 2 = half points
MVP of the loosing team = half points

Please upvote if you think this point system would make any difference since we are trying to qualify solo. Good solo performances should be rewarded and not being carried by good teammates.

BR Crashing

Screen freezes in BR, post update. Screen will freeze, but I can hear the actions when I hit the buttons so I know it's responsive, but still screen freezes. Kinda random when it happens buts it's somewhere in the first 3 minutes of any game. PLEASE fix asap, I like to play BR when im drinking. Thanks

Anyone else not able to download the update?

I've got shit Internet (900 KBPS) so it takes 2 hours to get close to finishing. Roughly 80 percent through the download, it somehow cancels itself OR somehow doesn't recognise that I'm using WiFi, not mobile data, and makes me restart the download. This fucking sucks. I've tried probably about 15 times now to no avail. I've also tried all the suggestions Google has to fix the problem, also to no avail.

Anyone else having the same issues or just me? Also, any suggestions on how to fix the problem?

No Shit Sherlock: Bundles Test

Unfortunately, we all know now that in the end, crates won - bundles lost. Even with all of the support we got from all of the crate folks who bought as much as they could (thank you, people) it still didn’t bring in the sheer exponential volume of revenue from gambling with crates - it likely never would have.

Too bad, for a moment in April, I honestly thought they (Tencent/Activision) were human!

I apologize, on behalf of Tencent/Activision for this bullshit turn of events.

The outlaw crashes the game. So when it showed the animation of me getting the outlaw it crashed then every time I go to setup a loadout it crashes. I put the gun on a loadout and I can use it in a match no problem but in the menus the game game freaks out. How did this get past play testing...

What are you guys thoughts on this new update and battle pass? So far for me it’s been a terrible one.

These are the ones I complained on their update post about.

Outlaw Sniper trash. I can’t even one shot to the body at 10m. It doesn’t even do half the damage of the arctic.
Then why did you make the flak jacket not get affected by the tripmine? Now the trip mine kills me at full health with flak jacket on?
Then the credit store update turned out to be another terrible one.

New here, Xbox One S question

I want to ask you guys about wether it's possible to play COD Mobile on a console like Xbox One S, the same way you can on a PC.
I know you can connect the controller to your smartphone and play like that, but I was curious to know if it's possible to play it on Xbox like it is possible to play it on PC.

There is already a thermal sight in the legendary Arctic.50 in BR but wouldn’t it be dope to see in MP? Even if it was only for snipers it would still be awesome. Seriously!? I won't even mention the crate issue with this fucking game, but now this!? To removes the challenges is to remove the basis of most people playing. The new battle pass system

Personally, i am a BR person who played MP 90% only to do those quests.

Since the new system came, i did 3 BR matches

20/26 with 4 kills - 6.2k xp
1/25 with 12 kills - 15k xp
12/25 with 7 kills - 12.4k xp

Did some mp matches as well, got around 3.5k xp on avg.

I have the premium pass so keep that in mind. Overall, I like it personally, but completing it might be a problem if you don't play regularly. For those like me who plays around 4-5 BR matches daily and does reasonably well, the new pass adds more value.

Important Discussion: What's the fastest way to advance the new Battle Pass tiers?

Given that they made it harder to advance tiers now, which gamemode would give the highest BP XP for the least amount of time. Does anyone have an excel sheet about this already? Let's discuss.

I'm thinking Battle Royale 4 player teams. But it takes a lot of time and the results of matches fluctuate heavily. I heard Domination gives a lot of xp too but also takes too much time. TDM would be the shortest matches but I'm not sure if it gives the most BP XP per minute of gametime.

The slide-jump is really bad rn.., previously, if i wanna slide rush a enemy in a corner, i did was look the straight way, slide and then jump and turn, this made my gun face the side, but the jump went in the same direction the slide was goin. But now, the jump goes where u look, so if i turn faster, the jump just goes towards the enemy wrecking my crosshair alignment. I dont like this new jump at all. What do u guys think?

Outlaw: good or meh

I tried it in a couple of matches, i got 50-50 one shots and hitmarkers. Feels like the one shot hit box is very small, even smalller than the arctic. Prob only on the head and upperrmost chest, not even the upper chest. Idk, prob have to wait for hawksnest or pathogenesis to upload a vdo on it. What do u guys think?

My thoughts on the Outlaw. It's a fun gun for sure, bit it's very lacking. It scopes in very quick and has high mobility, but it's one shit hitbox is very small. It hitmarkers alot. It's a fun gun, but needs a rebalance imo.

Thoughts on the update

1.The new slide-jump, im not happy, i want the previous one back. It makes me slower. The jump goes where u look now, so i cant slide rush a corner ..it wrecks the pre aiming.

2.The new xp style BP, i like it. Its more up to choice now, no more forced BR plays .

  1. Love the new seasonal event thing, more stuff for everybody.but some missons like the snipr with acog or kill by running over by a car in BR, r not that good.

  2. Love the new fov fix, wonder why they didn't do that sooner

  3. Rust is a good map, fast paced. But u get shot from the back a lot, so maybe not a competitive map

1.locus event
In that the rpd kills are not counting inspite of equipping stock .I played it twice with only stock and stock with other two attachment still not counting
2.Parho event
Pdw kills with quickdraw not counting
Please fix this

I found it interesting, especially with the new mission system where we earn BP points and also skins and weapons. I think the good part is that we will not be stuck just being able to raise one level of the day, in 1:30 - 2:00 hours I went up 7 levels of level, I think it will be interesting if we get used to it

How would you compare the RPD, UL and S36 in BR

I'm experimenting with all 3. I tend to lean towards the RPD because it has the lowest recoil for one. 100 round clip from the get go and it's damage doesn't drop off until like 45-50 meters which is more than enough for a Red Dot. I'm hearing some say the UL in ranked MP is the new LMG king but more of the honeymoon factor with the S36 in BR.

What are your opinions pound for pound the best LMG to use in BR?

You need 1 million (1,000,000) exp to hit tier 50! Current monthly challenges only add up to 126,000! There better be more challenges because there's no way I have enough time to grind the other 874,000 exp.

I really hope there's weekly challenges added! This new battle pass is a horrendous grind for people who could play a few games and hit the weekly challenges, but now you have to play a lot of games to hit the tiers.

Why this BP change might be a strategy to gain more money

DISCLAIMER: This might not be the truth. Maybe Tencent just wanted to reward players who grind hard.

Tencent removed the missions for this BP. It's a literal nightmare for casuals, right? Well, it might be for more money. So as it's harder to gain more BP levels, then players might feel more inclined to buy ranks (like Ferg did) or pay more to buy the Premium BP, which gives you a headstart. And that may be precisely the effect Tencent intended to have, and as we've seen from previous games by Tencent, it's entirely possible Tencent would do this to the player base to gain some more cash.

I'll repeat my disclaimer again: Tencent might not have intended to do this. This is just my THEORY.

Epic Skins

I bought the season 5 battle pass 12 hours before the season ended because I had already reached tier 50. Now I have 6 epic skins: 4 from the battle pass, one from ranked MP, and one from the Tenacity Rewarded Event. I feel like the magmacomb skins would be nice in BR, but other than that the weapons suck (m4, ak117, m21). I’m starting to feel like I have way too many skins with all the free uncommon and rare skins that are practically giveaway. I know there’s no way to sell skins, but is it a waste of money if I don’t even use half of the skins? I just want to know if anyone else winds up with unused premium battle pass items.

P.S. I don’t plan to buy the season 6 battle pass until after I reach tier 50. Should I even buy it? My main interests are the outlaw-heatstroke and the msmc-wild west. Is it worth the grind this season for these weapons or should I focus on other areas of my life? I just get sick of my primary weapon list getting longer every week.

How to quickly leave the results page? & How to check the whole br results in your results?

Sorry if this seems to be a basic question. After the final kill cam, when you are being loaded to the results page, how can we skip the points page and directly to the results page? I see many people doing the play again thing when I'm just at the point listing page that comes directly after killcam. I tried using backspace, but that takes me directly to my team page so I can't do play again if I like the players. Is there something I'm missing, or is it just due to my mobile and/or network being slow?

Second question: I can see the entire list of my position in br on the final results page after the match is finished, but when I try to access the results using my profile, it just tells me my position, not the full list of players and their k/d in the br game. Is there a way to get that?

Is there an api for cod mobile that I can use to get some game data?

Or some website where I can scrape the data from? Results are not available in the CoD website, in fact they seem to have completely left out CoD Mobile except for a play banner.

I found something about using network tools like Wireshark to get the data from the app. I'll definitely look into it if there's no other way. I think a tool that tells you data about your total matches played, guns, k/d, br and ranked performance would be cool. Please let me know if there's something like that available. I found one API, but it seems to belong to a gaming team

Already sent all evidence via customer support since you vermin don't professionally respond to anyone on here. Great update, it's full of more fucking bugs. Weapons have literally "jammed" multiple times in terms of the reload button not working. Morons. On a side issue, no wonder 99% of long distance shots aren't even registering even with an icr1, it shows me hipfiring at some teleporting wank stain across the galaxy. So much for a beefy update. Change that to "buggy".

COD Mobile Via HDMI @60fps??

Is there a way to hookup my android phone to a TV and play with a controller using my TV as the display and experience no lag?

So from what I've read, I can hookup a PS4/XBOX 1 controller to my phone, via Bluetooth, with little to no latency. I think this is really cool, but I dont want to be confined to the dimensions of my screen on my phone. I want to know if I could still hookup my phone to a TV with a HDMI chord, that supports 60fps, and still experience no latency. If I'm going to play with a controller, I want to go all out. But I dont want to spend all this money if it's not worth it.

Is it worth it? Has anybody else tried this yet? Any feedback would be great!

So, the bundles right. I didnt get bundles day 1, but i have dumped a shit ton of cash on this game. So the bew update drops, and i see the bundles. Personally, i am very happy with it, but really only 1, the burnout bundle. Its pretty hard to get it in crates, and there is only 1 free, and 10 in the bp. The m4 is ok, A tier, nothing too crazy. Besides, they said this in the community update. Old bundles gonna come back, and maybe some new ones down the line. At least they arent the shitty green ones lol

Snipers need a buff.

title says it all. Buff the snipers. They're SNIPERS, not Nerf guns. You shouldn't be getting hitmarkers when hitting someone in the chest. I've lost potential clutch-rounds because of the constant hitmarkers. I love the new Outlaw sniper but getting non-stop hitmarkers is ruining the gun for me. Thank you for reading my mini rant.

Laggy gameplay?

Has anyone noticed the game is laggier than before? I have an iPhone 7 and I used to be able to play an hour or two before I noticed some delays a quick restart wouldn’t fix, but now it’s almost every two games that I get hit with terrible lag spikes or when an enemy is Infront of me, the game decides to freeze up and bam get shot.

Game KEEPS crashing? HELP?

Hey so I've been playing COD Mobile since season 1. I've rarely had issues with the game crashing. For the past two weeks however, my game consistently crashes mid game. I've lost a lot of rank XP for disconnecting and not being able to reconnect. It's also just really frustrating in general to lag out of public matches when I'm grinding BP XP. I've sunk a decent chunk of money into this game and it sucks that the game consistently crashes. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game 3 times and to no avail. The game doesn't crash when I'm in any of the menus or in anything else, it's just constantly in game. I don't think I've played a single game in the last 3 days where I haven't had the game crash.

For reference, I play on a 6th gen iPad 9.7 inch (please don't roast me too hard, my old iPhone broke so I've been rocking the old SE until the 12 comes out). I have nothing but school stuff on this iPad so it's not like there's a storage issue or anything. Can someone please give me some advice. I just bought the premium pass and I've been trying to grind but it's super frustrating.
