Glitches since Season 5bp update of codm

Hi new here, just a quick question

Has anyone else encountered issues with touch screen since the update?
The problem I’m having is while in the game the touch screen input freezes, it’s not lag an the screen itself isn’t frozen just can’t move for a few seconds the rest of the games still moving etc, it’s sporadic in nature, Some games it’s frequent others it’s fine, I’ve encountered it on two phones both of which played fine before the latest update.

I’ve come across others using different phones example Nokia and I’m using iPhone and Their also having it in pubg as well as cod mobile (same creator right?)

My screen works normally in all other games and apps.

I’ve had it on iPhone 6s and 7

Things I’ve tried to no avail..
factory reset
Cleared cache/ cleared the ram
Deleted game and data - reinstall numerous times.
My connection is fine 35Mbs download min’ and 10Mbs upload strong signal in everyone room.
Phone as plenty of storage space (20gb free)
I’ve reduced the graphics and frames to low even though the iPhone 7 can run on high and worked flawlessly in season 2-4 of bp.

Dear Tencent, Matchmaking is a bit screwed

Now I understand the 'win some lose some' mechanic. As in, You win 3+ matches so the MM throws you in with a bunch of well preforming players who are in quota for their win streak so you lose a few games. This MM technique is even seen in public matches.

But as of late stuff in the ranked area has been... very much screwy. Out of the last ten games I have won one. placing in top for three of them kept me from going into rank protection, This seems not quite fair to me. I get that as you go higher it gets harder but the powerjump from pro II to III cannot be THAT huge, I know it wasn't last season. Before this I was gaining a rank every day, now by the looks of things that could take around a month.

Overall I think the MM system needs a bit of a rework in terms of exactly who you get matched with. Instead of using the above formula, win some lose some, have the Matchmaker put us with people of our same rank who have been preforming to the same standards. This would lead to more close and exiting games and more competition in the ranks overall.

Domination & TDM are so fast.

It just me or the public match just so fast. I play TDM and it just take a less than 3 minute. Same as domination. Why just they don't make the gameplay like the rank or maybe higher.

Flash back to the older COD most of TDM is like 60 point and higher. 40 is just too short and 50 is quite acceptable. I know many people like fast but I just hoping that the gameplay will be more longer than it is now.

Domination on rank is well made which is 75 to 150 but the public match just feel so fast. Especially when you enter the game half away. If the match are longer player maybe lose the gameplay time.

My opinion is to add more score to TDM from 40 to 50 or 60 like rank. For domination make as same as rank gameplay which are 75 to 150.

HBR: P2W or not? (Read description)

I've seen a lot of post recently about people talking about how the HBR is supposedly P2W. I don't own the HBR and would obviously like a free version but I don't believe it is P2W. This may be an unpopular opinion but i have reasons for this.

Firstly, I'm not denying the HBR is good. It is certainly a top tier weapon but I don't believe it is significantly better than any other option that f2p players can get.

It may seem like the HBR always win fights but if you think about it, for someone to spend £200 on a gun they have to be pretty invested in the game and therefore likely a skilled player. So they may be winning fights due to skill and not the gun. I often play against HBR users in ranked and can say that I never felt at a significant disadvantage, obviously the gun is good but they rarely get an insane amount of kills or a significantly better K/DR than other players.

I do acknowledge the other side of the argument and am interested to see the poll result and thoughts that others have on the matter.

What's up with all the bots?

Someone has to speak out about this:

Have you guys also noticed in public matches that usually 2/3 of the team are bots?

They really suck, they use similar skins (ASM - Ginglebells, m4lmg Ice , AK47 Ice, Ul76 skinless, bk57 jack, and many more..)

Two of their names I remember are, Billyballer and COCOnutWeAsel (they usually have stupid names of Russian names)

The blonde guy with green armour skin is 99% bot

They also use really shit attachments on their guns.

I find it really annoying when I go to play with people that by level 150 should be able to play decently and I end up practicing Vs AI
Only ranked matches don't have bots, but sometimes I feel like not going serious

Could this be fixed I mean bruh you guys are the biggest game at the moment, you don't need to use bots in matches!

In game character voices

I don't know why but I always thought that the Phantom skin had a unique voice, but it turns out that voice is also used by a lesser used skin, the Elite PMC (who is really cool as well). Am I the only one who thought this? Just wanted some input from the community.

Also, like when there's a sniper in your field of view and your character says "Get down! Sniper! ", if the female skins like Battery and Outrider say it, they say "Sniper, Get down!", and I think it sounds more like she's telling the sniper on her side to get down.

Add the free or event based version of HBR-a3

Okay....I am done watching Ferg , Noah , and other youtubers playing with the HBR-a3 . We should also get our hands on the HBR-a3 . This gun was released so long ago but paid and hasn't been released yet for free or event based. Even if tomorrow Activision gives me HBR-a3 in a bundle , I am gonna buy it straight away. I am just frustrated as how good this gun is and I am not able to use it. Just do anything but do it quickly Activision....

So you're telling me that honest players are getting banned for playing fairly but hackers who cheat and are ruining other players (some who are new) experience of the game (some of these hackers are apparently back from season 2 btw) and aren't getting...

Nice one Tencent. Wouldn't surprise me at all if the game ends up dying cause you're caring more about players buying creates and lucky draws instead of putting time and effect into updating your shitty anti-cheat system.

Unpopular opinion - I dont care about the Hbr. I dont care about releasing more than one new gun per season. Anyone else feel this way?

I dont really care for the HBR because the improvement from the bk or ak117 or kn is minimal and not groundbreaking. So i dont see the need to get annoyed.

I dont really care for them releasing all guns all at once or more than 2 guns every season because i like the anticipation of waiting for new guns; i mean we already got 3 new guns in the space of 4-6 weeks. And theres a lot more to come if you count all the seasons.

New maps would be quite nice but to be honest because of popular random map rotation i dont even get to play on Meltdown or Takeoff (?) That often.

A new map for BR would be definitely appreciated. perhaps having the option of increasing the team sizes to 6 or 8. Similar to Warfare. In Warfare; having a knocked/revive would make it so much more intense.

And doing a few different maps for zombies and or including missions for zombies like defusing biological zombie making bombs while holding off waves, or a rescue mission or needing to go frlm area A to area B similar to Left4Dead.

I guess their strategy is to rinse as much money from possible from the current state before improving a bit more, then repeat.

What would you add?

I know everyone spawns the portion of the map they cover, but why when I get killed, I spawn in the map portion occupied by my teammates, then an enemy spawns right behind me, kills me, and then I spawn behind him.
Why they're spawned right behind me? And not in the portion covered by they teammates?

Multiplayer ranked right now

I'm not gonna play multiplayer ranked for a while, it's so fucked up, shots aren't registering at all, I have a really good internet connection, this issue has been in cod mobile since the season 4 update. I don't think that cod will look into this anytime soon, since they only respond to lucky draw problems and not the genuine ones.

For God's sake fix the damn Hardpoint spawns.

I don't know who thought putting hardpoint in the Ranked Playlist was a good idea, But the least the Devs could do is make proper spawns.

Either you spawn on the hardpoint or the enemy spawns on it, it's impossible to play this game because whoever gets the spawns near the hardpoint win it, especially in maps like Crash or Summit, where the enemy team can wipe and just spawn near the hardpoint.

It gets very annoying and unplayable, when the enemy team spawn just keeps rotating with the hardpoint, the devs should either fix this or get rid of Hardpoint.

Two bugs I’ve been having that I haven’t seen reported.

  1. my “look around” button (the eyeball) in Battle Royale doesn’t work. I can move the button but nothing happens.

  2. laser sights on pistols in Multiplayer don’t work. Like I’ll have it equipped and I don’t see the laser on my screen.

Anyone else experience these? Or have a fix? Thanks!

I play global NA servers on and iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Are you’re unhappy with this latest update and how CoDM is continuing to release $200 content for some and $25 content for others? Shipping out new content under the guise of “testing” while it can carry a $175 price difference is, in my opinion, completely disgusting. This is not the type of practice that a mobile game of the year should have.

If you’re also upset by the actions of CoDM/Devs/Tencent then please join me and 1 star review CoDM on the App Store. Write about wanting bundles for all or how about this practice is unfair to your players.

I seriously think that the M4 needs a buff, even though it's a beast long range with its non-existent recoil, I still think it's Damage is not enough to be a top tier AR. I really hope the devs consider buffing it, a damage or a fire rate buff would make this weapon a more viable option for AR users

Remove Bots from multiplayer?

I honestly think the game's name should be changed to Call of Duty Bots mobile. It's ridiculous how I have to always play public matches with a full squad, ranked matches or prop hunt to play a game full of real players. Normal multiplayer matches are just boring cause it doesn't matter how good you make the bots. I don't feel any satisfaction when I kill bots and they even kill you in ridiculous ways sometimes. I understand that in some countries matchmaking would be difficult and the ping could be high but bots should be added to only those countries then.

VTOL bug

The last 2 games i got 2 vtols. Each time i used the vtol, the game automatically disconnected and then reconnected and when it returned, the red squares indicating enemy were missing. I was literally stuck in the vtol without anything to do. Since it was domination i just kept firing at A and B which we had captured already and in the process got lucky only once.
Anyone else got this bug ?

BR Melee is Seriously Buggy

Apologies to all innocent players and bots that were brutally shanked in my testing.

 

There are some serious discrepancies with how the different melee weapons work in battle royale: Ice pick is always a one hit kill (against 150HP, level 3 armor), kills don’t count towards “close knit” achievement. Lava axe is a 2 hit kill, kills don’t count towards “close knit” achievement. Knife with skin is a 3 hit kill, kills don’t count towards “close knit” achievement. Knife without skin is 3 hit kill, kills count towards “close knit” achievement.

 

Also melee damage doesn’t damage enemy armor. I suspect that the armor damage reduction doesn’t apply to melee damage at all, the level of armor worn didn’t make a difference in how many hits to kill.
Finally melee strikes can’t damage environmental features, like doors or the Easter eggs. The exception to this is vehicles.

 

My suggestions:

  1. Make all weapons count towards “close knit” achievement

  2. Make all weapons do 100 damage per strike

  3. Make armor damage reduction apply to melee

 

This would make a melee strike a 1 hit against an unarmored at 100 health, a 2 hit against someone at 150 or with L1/L2 armor, a 3 hit against someone at 150 with L2 armor, and a 4 hit against someone at 150 with L3 armor.

 

TLDR: Whacking in BR is wack, plz fix

Cod mobile on pc and actual mobile players

Does the game pair me with players who are using an emulator on PC to play if I'm using just my phone with no peripherals? Some of the people I've been playing with have been super accurate with their shots, almost to the point that the accuracy seems impossible for someone sliding their fingers across a screen.

When will the rank reset again?

I hope it will not reset on 1st May and that like the 3rd season, this rank will last 2-4 months.
I'm already in top 100 leaderboard and another one of my teammates top 50 this season and another one in leaderboard.
We had found ourselves the perfect OP total overdose team only at the end of season 3 and despite our best efforts we could only reach 20k pts by that seasons end. With the quarantine going on, we have the time to grind with each other.
It's so fun rn. This season is going so good for us, I'm so glad right now but I don't trust the game with its suspense and all.

frozen screen problems

I have already complained a few times, I never got to see anything official about it.

The problems with the frozen screen at the beginning of the matches and with the killcams, the screen hangs for 3 to 10 or even more seconds, this interferes mainly in ranked matches.

My cell phone is a MOTO G5, 32 gb of memory, I believe it was not supposed to happen, it is a problem that has occurred since the 2nd season, in the first season it ran normally

Game is unplayable since the previous update.

I don’t know what’s happening, but I’ve recently started lagging in the game, sometimes so bad that it’s impossible to do anything, let alone win matches in ranked. I’ve never had issues before, been playing the game since early January. First I thought that it’s an issue with the network, but figured it has nothing to do with the game performance after playing from different mobile networks. I’m playing from an iPhone X, been thinking it might be an issue with the device itself, but I have no clue. It’s insanely frustrating, is anyone else having these issues since the update? (My ping is normal, I didn’t change the graphic settings, either.)

War Machine and Hive’s are making ranked unplayable.

Mid M5 currently and ranked is fucking unplayable right now. Hard point, Domination and TDM are plagued with operator skill spamming.

Spamming war machine from behind the bottom of some stairs while behind a wall is skill? Really?? That’s what dictates a win?

Trophy system takes too long to deploy and only lasts for 2 explosions. I’m 1 person with a trophy, 2 trophy’s if I’m lucky enough to get a teammate with a fucking braincells. THAT DOESN’T STOP EVEN ONE WAR MACHINE LET ALONE THE THREE OTHERS ON THE ENEMY TEAM.

Rank is fucking unplayable at the moment because of this bullshit low skill spam. Not to mention the fucking RC car you guys just added.

SND is the only good test of ranked skill and it’s barely even around enough. I’ve had nothing but Domination and Hardpoint matches. Again. And again. AND AGAIN. I’m tired of being spammed to death with shit that can barely be countered.

You’re making the game fucking unplayable.

dude, br craching every game, but if u restart the app before gamestart, then u will get 0 craches, im mp 1 of 8 games maybeare craching

i still on android10 from season 1 or 2, every season i said i will back to android 9 but i will wait the update maybe they will fix it, but not until now

so just like i said, restart the game in battle royal everygame before start before plane
go to recent apps and close the app of the game then join and press join to the mutch again

in mp u should restart the app maybe every 5 mutches

i was try many of fixes but no help and i try this by myself its work 100%

and i try to change graphic driver with root with no help, notch killer, game booster, try to edit some settings in root and system and graphic card with no help, try to get log of crach to send it to activision, i cant or i just don't know how .

if someone know how to get crach log, or app log then tell me to send it to the activision

Has anyone else experienced these glitches?

  1. Sometimes my player goes into a permanent crouch for an entire game, even after respawning. All I can do is lay flat or move around in a crouched position. Also it prevents me from running.

  2. There are instances were the sound fx go haywire and never cut off. Like the helicopter sound, if some one places one in the air, even after it gets shot down or flys away I still hear the chopper. And it seems to get progressively louder.
    Also there are times when I’ll shoot my gun and even after I stop the sound just keeps going and going. Sometimes it stops when I shoot again. But sometimes it doesn’t and the sounds just layer each other and it overwhelms all the other sounds in the game.

Am I alone?

Why Call of Duty mobile should be remade.

So I've read a post where allegedly a player claims that his account was taken over, AKA hacked, and he can't get it back. If this is possible why do we even play Call of Duty mobile? There's not even a story to play which is usually a trademark of Call of Duty games. Game "hiccup"?

Not sure what else to call it, but when playing, sometimes & it seems more prevalent when playing on wifi, my game will hiccup or loop. Like I'm running then all of a sudden it's like I'm back where I was running from a second ago. I don't know how to get rid of it. I've uninstalled, reinstalled. Prop hunt has got to be my favourite casual game mode, but it's not without its problems

First, let me preface by saying that I'm a relatively new player. I bought a new phone last month and thought to try Call of Duty since I wasn't having a lot of fun with other shooters and battle royales. I absolutely love the game and it is basically the only game I play on my phone.

So I don't know if these casual game modes are added recurringly and issues in it have already been pointed out, or if it's a totally new game mode. So if not, here are a few things I found really annoying:

  1. Getting queued into a game that has already started. This has GOT to be the no. 1 problem that causes my the most frustration. Too many times have I experienced spawning as a prop RIGHT in front of an enemy only to get instantly killed without having the starting 20 seconds to hide.
  2. This issue also happens on where I get spawned on the hunter team, which isn't as bad but still a problem.
  3. Several times, I also get put on THE SAME TEAM in both rounds! Which means I'll either be a prop in both rounds or a hunter in both rounds. And the weird thing is, often I spawn as a hunter at the starting point of the props! Which means I get a glimpse of them before they can hide and know what they look like, which is obviously unfair to them!
  4. Every time I as a hunter see a prop he shouts "enemy in sight!" or "contact with enemy!". Even if I don't know which exact prop the player is, it narrows down my search by a LOT, making it clearly unfair for the props.
  5. Imbalanced scoring because of filling-in new players when someone leaves. Which means that if a hunter kills a prop, and that prop player leaves the game, another player will get filled into the prop team and give higher scoring possibility to the hunter team! And to make it worse, as I mentioned above, often that prop will not have the time to hide and spawn RIGHT in front of a hunter, making it even more unfair!

Basically, I don't see why they feel the need to fill in new players in a game that has already started when there are SO many players playing this game mode ...

Bundles and Crates

I’ve had enough of this foolishness that has been persisting in this game. People who are playing for free and never even buy battlepasses are being able to attain bundles and rest of the players have to deal with normal crates which results in obtaining nothing. At least switch the players after an interval and let others enjoy the bundles too. Players who are eager to put their money on the line for good skins. I find this unfair and if this issue continues I guess that have I have to stop playing for good.

When equipped with a knife or an axe, are you as fast with the axe as you are with the knife or are you slower?

I know this kinda seems like a dumb question, but with how Tencent is, I can see them ignoring this aspect entirely and making the player equipped with an axe as fast as they are with a Knife. I've done some testing, and it seems slightly slower with an axe, but I figured I'd come here to see if anyone knew more.

When ever i play for about 20 minutes my screen goes black but you can still interact with the interface and sometimes when i party up with a friend i can hear them in the lobby but when we get into a match we can't hear each other. Has anyone else experienced this?

The largest advantage in the game.

In this community there is not enough importance put on advantage a tablet has over a phone. This is emphasized when the phone is even a couple years old and performance suffers. Using a tablet provides many advantages including but not limited too:
-Improved ability to control recoil
-Generally easier interaction with the phone because there is a larger surface area, which makes it possible to use a lower sensitivity.
-Aiming is easier (lower sensitivity needed)
-Larger targets on screen(bigger screen)
-And most importantly the ability to see enemies easier. When I look across a certain distance (on a phone) I can’t tell if there is an enemy there.
Recently I played on my friends iPad, and even with an iPad odd sensitivity I was able to shred like never before (on MP ranked). I was able to easily see enemy’s and didn’t have to squint at all. Finding where an enemy is on a phone is very difficult because they are so small and almost impossible to see on a small screen(Older devices on worse graphics can make this a hell of a lot worse). For people with bad vision this of even greater consequence.
Conclusions: The nature of the game and the fundamental features tablets have will make it so that it will never be completely fair, but that doesn’t mean the playing field can’t be made closer. Ways this could be done is by making ranked matchmaking so that mobile players are much more likely to be matched up with other phone players (although if none can be found than they could be matched up with tablet players). Another way the playing field could be made closer is by making enemy players more visible on phones, for example making the red on the enemies brighter and making them stand out more in some way. In this post I brushed over but didn’t even touch the surface of issues with using older devices as that was not the main focus. Is there sbmm now in public matches?

I feel like recently all the public matches I’ve been playing on have been full of sweaty ass masters and legendary ranked players while I’m just tryna enjoy a relaxed game of tdm or domination. I’m all for a challenge but i feel like now that I’ve been moving up the ranks (I’ve been stuck at pro IV for a while now so I’m just taking a break and playing pubs for now) 7/10 games are just sweatfests with people sliding around giving me a migrane trying to aim at them. I know the people im playing against are masters and above because an hour ago i got a lil too salty and started looking at all the people i played against the past few games and a good portion of them were former legendary rank and current mid Master rank. I’m not tryna sound too whiny but I swear pubs were more relaxed in earlier seasons like I’m just tryna have fun sometimes and not go all out, but shit if the player base is getting better and I just have to git güüd then I’ll be damned lmao.

The game is getting boring, here’s what we need!

I knwo the devs wont see this but here’s a list of things we need in codm to keep the game fun because atm it feels boring and slow.

  1. Prestige, playing the game feels like you wasting XP because we can’t prestige

  2. Hard challenges for good rewards, no I don’t want to get 3 kills in br for a green weapon XP card I want to get 10,000 knife kills for a sick golden knife.

  3. Stop scamming your playerbase, I know you know if you keep crates everyone gonna leave.

  4. Bring back zombies but make it not bad, the only reason we didn’t play it was because you only allowed 1 reward a day on 1 map! Of course we’re going to get bored of that and why would we play after getting out 1 reward? Make in Ininite rewards of 1 shard so people can grind like they do in ranked.

  5. Free hbr.

  6. Fix the hacker problem it’s not good, I know it’s not that easy but maybe take a small break from designing unicorn guns and try to fix this problem.

I know there’s a lot more that people want so add more stuff we need below

Couple of questions from a new player

Hey guys, I'm a relatively new player, playing for like last 15 days occasionally. I've upgraded a few of my guns, but my question is, if I upgrade the same stats through multiple upgrade slots, do the upgraded stats stack? For example, foregrip increases accuracy for +10, and there's a side attachment that also increases accuracy by +10. When I equip them both, does the gun have +20 accuracy or only +10?

My second question is, sometimes when I'm playing unranked (this may be present in ranked as well but I don't play ranked much, so didn’t notice), just when the players are shown as the map is loading, the character logo which shows my name and the soldier skin, also displays "100%" beside the name. What does it mean?

Is it me or are most Br players really bad when compared to mp players?

I have been using the global chat to look for a team and I usually match with master players (I am Pro 4 I think) and whenever I die and spectate my teammates, they seem to equip the worst attachments(I've seen some of them use hipfire WITHOUT laser sight when they could have scoped in) and they don't even know to sprint or move around when they are shooting at the enemy.

Its like legendary ranked players for br can be easily outmatched by a pro 1 in mp.(Looking at their match stats, they can get 2 kills and make it to top 5 and they always play squads too)

Btw My IGN is MrEinstein and hopefully that u can push with me br or maybe mp (master 2 this season, master 4 last for mp and master 2 for br last season).

Let's hope that br players will play mp more and maybe they can get better at getting kills in general. Let me know if I'm just matching with bad teammates in the comments.

Black Screen glitch on Android 10 devices

By going over other similar reports, it is evident that the black screen issue only happens to players using Android 10 devices, it occurs in both br and mp matches randomly - personally it happens to me every 5-8 matches in MP and everything goes black, you can still hear in-game audio and even fire or move if you remember where your buttons are. The only current fix is to restart your game which gives you a huge disadvantage when playing ranked. If you search "black screen" in this sub there are numerous posts even including video proof of this bug. Please fix this issue devs, it has been going on for way too long! u/COD_Mobile_Official

Just a realization in BR

So after grinding for master 2 BR for a week I came to a realization. IN BR THE HIPFIRE SPREAD IS MUCH TIGHTER. I know most of you know this but to the new players..... In BR the hipfire spread of an automatic weapon is much tighter than that of MP. So hipfire as much as you want in BR ,especially if you are a claw player.

Understanding server connections

Warning.. this is lengthy post with lots of questions bc I’m trying to get a grasp on pings, zones and playing with people across the globe. Thank you for those reading through and answering what you can. For transparency, I am in America.

So here we go!...

Act One... Understanding zoning. I’ll log on and i’ll be assigned to zone123. Play a few games, get hoed in MP ranked and log off. I’ll log in again few hours later and notice I’m at zone456 this time.

  1. Am I playing against ppl assigned exclusively to this zone?
  2. Is it better for my connection to play with people in the zone i’m in?
  3. If i invite a friend to a lobby that’s not in my zone or vice verse, will that affect game play for one or both of us?

Act Two... Understanding server connections: Teammates across the world or in another state.

  1. If I joined a game lobby from the world chat and I’m the only America in a team of middle easterners, should I bounce because of I’ll be playing on their servers?
  2. Despite language barriers and time zones.. it better for the connection to join clans based in the US than another country?
  3. Similar to question one.. If my friend John Doe from Estonia invites me to his lobby bc he’s building up a team will he have the connection advantage? And will I have a connection advantage if I were to invite him to my lobby?

Act Three: Da Ping

  1. What range is considered the best ping, the worst and the average?
  2. What are some things I can do on my phone or on the CODM app to improve ping?
  3. If you’re in a game with a nasty high ping, what’s the best strategy to go by since your hit markers may not register as well.

I know it’s a lot, but it’s part of my understanding than just knowing. Thanks again.

Is killcam accurate?

I’m not sure how to word this but basically there has been countless times where I think I have slid behind a wall or something because that is what my screen indicates. But when I see the killcam it shows me just before sliding and hiding and basically kind of frozen just getting shot. My ping is normally ~50 but it just seems like my bullets don’t register most of the time and I lose every gun battle. My graphic settings are set to low and high frame rate but I feel like I’m playing with a disadvantage. Or do I just suck?

Audio issues in game

While playing on my Samsung Note 10+ 5G I have been getting very poor in game audio. Starts getting popping and crackling in both the voice and sound while in a match, typically BR. Lobby also has the same issue intermittently. Using Skullcandy Venue BT headset, as well as Samsung provided AKG wired headphones. Audio works fine on phone speakers without headphones. Also worth noting I have crystal clear audio through both headsets while listening to other media on my phone.

I have tried:
Turn phone off/back on
Uninstalling game and reinstalling
Unpaired headset and repaired
Resetting game mid match
Changing to lower graphics and frame rate setting.

Still no fixes. Will not remedy. Has anybody else been experiencing this? If so have you found a way to fix it?

Weapon skin Idea

I just had an idea for a legendary skin. The skin would be called 'Nuclear Waste'. This skin would change on kills. Somewhat like a container for the length of the gun, it would be filled with green ooze for every kill you got. At twenty kills it would be overflowing with waste. Every 5 kills each killed player would be filled with waste until they were completely green. The description should be something around the line of 'This baby's about to blow'. I hope this is a good idea.

Game crashes when XS1-Goliath gets destroyed

Im using a galaxy note 9 (exynos version) on android 10 and my game crashes every single time i use the goliath and it gets destroyed when im using it ...is anybody experiencing the same issue or is it just me ..it also crashed on a note 10+ ..s10...s10+ and all of them are on android 10

  • game isnt as responsive as it used to be on android 9
    Lots of times when i start the game there is a little freeze
    When i die in tdm or domination there also a little freeze
    And 1 sec in the battlefield can make a difference
    So developers please...fix your game' problems with android 10..this is unplayable

Vtol nerf

They really need to nerf the vtol because I was playing a game and my team was at 30 kills enemy 23 and than the enemy team called in a vtol and made it to 50 kills with the vtol. A nerf that I would want is the duration and make it so it doesn't have unlimited ammo. Since no one realizes that staying inside a building wouldn't get them killed

Lucky draw vs bundles. Pls read

I think it’s really unfair that some people get lucky draw and some people get bundles just out of pure randomness. I spent $120 to get a legendary gun through lucky draw while some people spent $25 with the bundle to get the same gun. Not only is it unfair, it’s also an illegal way to practice business.

I’m addition, people in India can get the same amount of credits for $4 as I would in the US for $25.

I’ll be sure to dispute these charges with my bank and I suggest you do as well if you’ve been affected. Very disappointed in you cod mobile.

I think you all should thank the devs. For such an awesome game.

This game is amazing and it's free. You don't have to buy the guns or spend money yet you complain when they drop something that costs money to support a free fucking game. Yes I know it costs "X" to purchase an item or to win a lucky but it supports the damn game. With the new bundles consider it like them giving people a beta test to see how they like it to give it to other people. I really love this game and know it's an unpopular opinion with all these keyboard warriors who think everything should be free but it all helps the game grow and evolve. It takes time and yes it takes trial and error to get things right and steady! I unfortunately don't have bundles but I still will supwthe game as they are working hard to fix things and add new content. So stop crying about stuff becwyour not the one who. Puts the codes in to develop these games and know the hard work put into a free to play game were you never have to pay to win.

Time to remove/reduce bots in Multiplayer!

Okay for everyone who doesn't somehow know it yet.. if you play normal Multiplayer (not Ranked) in COD Mobile, every team has 2 bots atleast. This made sense at the time when the game was launched, since the game did not have enough players. But now we're in season 5 and the player count has been rising and rising.

Currently in Multiplayer there's this huge glaring gap. Normal Multiplayer will queue you with bots making the game too easy and you ending up with 20-40 kills. On the other hand, Ranked has some of the most sweatiest players in the history of mobile gaming, making it quite pivotal that you play at your absolute best (after which comes the frustration).

So maybe it's time to bring in some middle ground? If bots are reduced to 1 per team or removed entirely, you can have more fun as the game will be a little more competitive, but you won't probably need to try-hard as much as you do in Ranked.

Take the example of COD Modern Warfare (2019). In Modern Warfare multiplayer, there are no bots, the game remains interesting and fun to play, as you don't have to be the absolute best to have a good time.

Anyways hope this makes sense!

Playing from a BlackBerry isn't easy, so I'm looking for a solution. I've seen Bluethoot controllers with mapping app, but I want to know if it is cheating.

I've a BlackBerry smartphone with Android, but it's difficult to play with a screen below the average size, and it's really difficult to use 6 toes on the screen. I've seen online some Bluethoot controllers, like this and many others, but they require an app to "map" the screen to let the imputs work. I don't know if external apps like these are against TOS. Is this cheating?

If using those devices is considered cheating, are claw triggers and other similar products considered cheating, too? These can be an useful alternative for me.

Unpopular Opinion : Rust is meh

Honestly I know people want any modern warfare or black ops maps for nostalgia feels but in my opinion Rust isn't as great as people say it is. The map is small and I'm sick and tired of small maps.

I know I'm souding ungrateful and br players are the priority right now but I'm voicing my opinion.

They should add 2 maps (included in ranked) each season and remove two . Then rotate the maps each season.

Let's hope for some Slums/Yemen/Carrier/Terminal maps or maybe like many suggested a map with some green in it cause that would be nice to have on a mobile.

Anyway we still don't know for sure the meaning of the photo they added. Might as well be a new br location.

Low frame rate in BR

I run all multiplayer modes with high resolution and high frame rate options turned on with no issue. However, my frame rate in BR mode is consistently low (like 25 or 30 FPS) despite having the setting on high. How do I fix this? Or is this baked into the game for balance?

Any way to remove the ADS movement deadzone?

So when you tap and hold your finger on the screen to aim down sights, it adds a huge movement deadzone so you need to move the stick really far to move making strafing feel unresponsive and harder. If you take your finger off it stops, so if you're using Tap to ADS then it's not that much of a problem but you still need to tap the button, take your finger off then put it on again to aim. Is there any way to remove this? I really don't want to use Tap to ADS but it seems like the only option.

Can the Dev remove Hardpoint from ranking match. It's so ridiculously stupid i have to move to another spot over & over. All match i played i had no problem with it. But man Hardpoint just make me pissed. Carrying all dead brain cells kids aren't my favourite thing.

What about fixing the bugs in your game before releasing new skins or maps?

  1. Black Screen and game freezing and crashing;
  2. Chat voice is trash! Never worked perfectly and I play since the very first Beta;
  3. Game sound failing. Firing sound get stuck repeating forever. Footsteps disappearing. Helicopter sound loud af and non stop. BR mode;
  4. Hit box is sh1t especially with Snipers! If you get over 60ms you cannot even land the shot. That’s RIDICULOUS! Both modes;
  5. Shield still bugged in MJ mode;
  6. Friends List is disappearing when you scroll it down.
    @activision and @callofdutymobile is it really that challenging to fix the above? I mean, 1 year of Beta Tests and 4 seasons of the game AND WE STILL HAVING THE SAME SH1T!!!

There's something that I don't understand about AK47

I don't see this gun being used very much. I see AK117, LK24, KN44 and BK57 way more often than I see the AK47. Most likely because the gun delivers some pretty average results when you perform decent with it, but for the very skilled player who plays it at its max, it is better than anything (its a 3 shot kill if u hit 2 chest shots and 1 headshot, but this is very hard to do consistently, also given you don't miss any bullet from the high recoil)

But still, Tencent keeps releasing so many skins for this gun: Red Action, Tank, Steel Blue, wrath Black & Gold, Red Dragon, Pumpkin Head etc. etc. Just checked and there are 17 skins of AK47.

Ak117 is pretty popular too, with 17 skins aswell, but wasn't it smarter to release more skins for other guns like BK57 and LK24, since they also got buffed? And also for KN44, which is easily more played than AK47, and has only Color Spectrum and Eruption.

Or is the AK47 actually played a lot and I just happen to not see it?

Why not exchange the various BP crates for 2 rare and epic bundles?

I think it would be much more interesting for you to buy BP, I am sure you will have spent on something that will return.

Mainly, because I open the epic BP crates since season 2 of BP and until today I have not won any of the epic prizes, this is very annoying, I think that instead of giving several crates, just give 1 epic bundle in the premium pass and 1 rare in the free pass would be better because the prize would be guaranteed

Display brightness keeps dimming during playing COD

So I am playing on iPhone 7, I have autobrightness off but still my brightness goes down after a minute or two of playing. This happens only when I play COD. And it stays at "medium" brightness (in the middle level of that bar) even tho it's all the way up. The only thing that helps in restarting phone.

Anybody same problem?

Also it acts really strange. When I pull the bar from the most minimum brightness to the midfle, it changes, but from the middle to top, the screen brightness stays the same (does not react to the bar going up or down).

Same on my working iphone x and iphone 6s.

Whats up with that?

Only happens when I play cod mobile. Never happened in other apps or anything

I think skins are becoming to cartoonish

Seems the past month all the skins are bright, clowned up, cheesey, fairytale, unicorn stuff. When this game first came out in 2003 into the first decade. This PUBG/Fortnite style crap wasn't even thought of in the game. They were keeping it somewhat military, realism with some futuristic styles added to it. Sure you could get a gold plated gun or something but not a glowing pink, rainbow AK with lime green hearts coming out of the barrel. And keep the characters like COD is. Not a Bunny rabbit with a orange backpack with a glow in the dark meteor coming out of his head

Let Fortnite/Pubg be cartoon style for the kiddies and girls. CODM stay the way you were built upon and meant to be.

I see so many posts of people criticising CoD M youtubers like Triz since it's an easy way of earning couple of upvotes since everyone has the same opinion. But I saw at most 3 or 4 posts about great youtubers, Hawksnest for example.

Posting so much about Triz you do nothing else than giving him free promotion. It doesnt matter if it's good or bad. What he wants is just for people to hear about him and check his channel.

Is it me or the only thing that Call of Duty Mobile devs that can't nerf is the bots in the game?

Both in Multiplayer and BR have overpowered bots which is a constant problem on the game. On Multiplayer sure, it's fine, but imagine being killed by a bot using an ASM10 with deadshot accuracy. In BR, bots are a constant problem/nuisance to players, they have better accuracy than the players for God's sake! They can literally shred your Level 3 armor from afar which would compromise you in the late game which is finding armor to replaced the damaged one by the bots will be scarce and difficult. These damn bots kept on getting buffed per update, and their aiming is far better than real players. 🤦‍♂️

Unpopular opinion : Snipers are making game less enjoyable and more anoying.

Yeah I get it.

All pro fast sniping quickscopers snipers all across the world will downvote the hell out of me...

But.

This is getting ridiculous and out of hand, really.

Season 1-2 were fine, I mean there were snipers at some positions that you avoided and everything was cool.

Now?

People rushing snipers like its freakin MSmC and fast sniping the hell out of everyone.

Every single round in ranked, I respawn, run for two meters and get sniped all across the map.

Usually, crossfire was sniping map.

Now people are sniping everywhere like it's new meta.

I can't even ADS and always lose 1v1 against sniper at close range even if I pre aim..because those guys just play and practice it all day long and this quickscoping really needs to stop.

This is not skill, it's annoying, stupid and takes my energy.

I was lego last season, now master 5.
It is getting worse.

And no, I can't fkin Neo matrix avoid those shots. I am average player that plays 1-2 hours a day and not a 50 finger claw persona that slides through every door.

Do something, or call it Call of Snipers.

Suggestion

I faced too many slayers in dormination and hardpoint so I thought of a solution to encourage ppl to stick to the objective.

For dormination, when we kill an attacker no only should we get extra killstreak scores but also get extra total score to encourage people to defend the points.

For Hardpoint, we can implement a system that gives you both killstreak scores and total scores when you are in the hardpoint. But when there are too many people in the hardpoint the scores each will get will be shared for balancing.

Basically we are using killstreak scores and extra total scores to encourage people to stick to the game objective instead of being a slayer.

But it doesbt mean that slayers will be nerfed. In my suggestion there are no nerfs done to slayers but we are encouraging people to not be. People can still be slayer if they want.

I made a big mistake and my new friends just stopped talking to me.

So, today I was playing a few rounds of BR with this new group of people. We all had voice on and we hit it off pretty well, and we added each other. They were all Legendary ranks and they were kind enough to let me, a Pro player, be jn their group.

On our 5th or 6th game, we landed at Dock and had to run from the zone. Easy right? Just fly a chopper. So that's what we did.

Now, I'm horrible at flying choppers. But did that stop me? No. So I flew a 30% chopper with my friends on it, and all was great... Until I flew into a tree and it all exploded.

I started apologizing but then they all muted me, and stoped talking to me. After the round, we went into another one, and I thought it was all ok, until they all exited from the game. I ended up losing a 1v4 and getting a -7.

So, teammates, if you're out there, I'm really sorry. Let this be a warning for other people to not make the same mistake I did.

TL;DR: I exploded our chopper and my friends muted me, unfriended me, and made me lose points :(

Buttons not working

Lately i have been experiencing this. The buttons sometimes doesn't work. First I thought maybe i didnt press it but now I saw my joystick disappear and then come after few seconds and when i swap it to move forward i go backwards. Sometimes shoot button, Ads doesn't work. Yesterday my right side move didn't work when i was in fight Thankfully i use gyro so i used it to turn. Now this is just getting really worse.

This is for people who are free to play or don’t know how to get it for credits an have cod points but don’t know how.

  2. Press the name Change card
  3. Press purchase
  4. Go to the credit option
  5. Buy it if you want

Account help for my son.

My son recently deleted some stuff from his phone and it caused him to have to reinstall CoDm. After re-download he couldn't sign in. I tried to recover his password but he told me when he started he started with a guest account. Had I known he was using a guest account I would have made sure he had an actual registered account.
So when I tried getting the pw, obviously we didn't get a reset email.
I told him it'd be a stretch trying to recover it but he's worked so hard on that account and gotten so much better at the game. I've bought him battle passes and he'd lose so many skins/guns, not to mention the hours spent grinding ranked, if this account can't be recovered.

I've contacted support through chat on my account and it's been 2 days and no response. I know there's an official Cod Mobile redditor who helps the community here and, before we just resign to starting a new account for him, I was hoping somehow it could be recovered. It's linked to his Google account because when I tried to sign in as a guest again it said another account was linked to that Google and if I continued I would overwrite the original.

I have all the info he uses if someone at support sees this and thinks they can track it down and restore/register it to his email so he could sign back into it. I know it's a long shot but he's worked so hard to grind ranked and get his k/d up from 0.4 to 1.47 and I'm so proud of him. I told him I'd do all I could to help him recover his hard work.

Any help is appreciated.

Hey everyone,
I’ve been running three fingers since launch. I tried to run four fingers a few times but struggled and gave up. I liked having everything on the right of the screen and the one tap ADS in the left corner.

Well, I’ve been struggling to get to master one, floating between pro IV and pro V. I thought I’d change it up and utilize more hip fire to see if I can do a little better. I set up a four finger claw and it seems hit or miss in pub matches (haven’t even tried ranked yet). How long did it take you all to adjust to claw, and what are your hub set ups if you don’t mind sharing?

I don't know if it's just me, but the Pdw 57 seems OP.

So lately I was using the PDW-57 and I was able to mow down a lot of enemies, and I reached 37 kills. my K/D ratio was 37/1. I felt like a one-man army. But the gun feels unfair and overpowered. I think the gun should be nerfed. Also, the stats show it deals crazy damage and its fire rate is extremely fast too. So what do you think?

Okay I see you COD Mobile making changes and trying to do better on the game, I noticed the difference, So just keep doing what you're doing trying to make the game better

Problem(Part 1):

Okay, this first part ties into the second which comes up with a possible solution, so just bare with me. Okay I'm on IOS and I was going to make a video today showing the situation and solution but when I got on just now, the sound went back out. I'm Eastern time, so late this Friday evening April 10 around 10pm the game music and sound effects finally came back on for the first time ever since season 4 started because before when you load up the game it supposed to play music at the login screen and then once inside the game when you press on different sections of the game you supposed to get sound effects but it wasn't doing that before Friday UNLESS you turned the mic button in the lobby on and then everything started working properly......kinda.

Which it shouldn't be like that the mic shouldn't be attached to the game sound so when the only way to hear the game sound is to turn on the mic. But anyway on Friday everything was working when it came to starting the game up and there were music and sound effects but all that went out the door today. Everything is attached back to the mic, to hear sound effects or music or anything you have to turn the mic button on. But ALSO now even with the mic button on you can't hear anything at the main menu but once you click on either Game mode and once you're in the Battle Royale Menu or Multiplayer Menu you can hear the music and sound effects.

Time to give ar-15 type rifles some love

I think we have had enough ak47 style rifles being push to the top of the pile. They are very ugly guns

Please can you introduce some new ar-15 type guns into the game will the the meta? The ghost Remington & honey badger, bo2 scar h and me acr

Also I think it's time for the M4 and icr to get a damage buff to push these up the ladder.

The hvk 30 is amazing but needs a buff in the reload

Wanting to know my capabilities

Hey I have a little bit of physical/nerve issues with my fingers. I’m able to do controllers but I still have limits for most games and I can’t do claw or other mobile methods besides 2 finger play without it hurting like crazy. I was just wondering by only playing with 2 fingers, what my limits are for multiplayer ranked? I’m stuck in master 1 and I only have a 0.9 kd ratio so I’m obviously not gonna get out of master 1.

Best guns you ever tried? (And the worst.)

For me, I think its either the HS2126 or the Ak117. The HS2126 has really short-range, and there aren't any attachments that increase its range to a decent range. But once you get in close you can deal lots of damage. And since it fires 4 times when you shoot, you can (if there are multiple enemies) kind of wave it around, to hit multiple enemies. then there's the Ak117. Low recoil decent damage better accuracy and fire rate than the AK-47. These two are the best ones I've tried.m My worst has got to be the LK24. Not worth it. Low damage, and it does very little. You also burn through its ammo really quickly.

Why is Matchmaking This Bad?

Playing ranked today, Pro 4, why am I getting teamed up with people from Pro 1-3? The other team gets a whole squad of Pro4-5, and the trample all over us, carrying the team is impossible, I cane out with a 25-7 while others on my team came out with 4-10. I am solo ranking, but please, why is matchmaking this bad, I’m about to fall into Pro 3, I’ve had a 10 Game lose streak doing my best.

Hot/Cold Streaks (question for pros)

Hey guys, I have a question for you pros. Do you experience hot/cold streaks? I have some gaming sessions where I shred everything, other ones where I make sloppy decisions and mistakes.

I don't understand if it's common, and what causes it. Is it psychological? Confidence issues? Or physical, like I am tired/I can't focus properly?

It's very frustrating, I don't understand what I am doing wrong.

Touch Screen

Hi, does anyone else have a problem with the touch screen while playing ?, I mean, I can't shoot because the button doesn't work, same thing when I try to move myself or the screen, does someone know why it happens and how to fix it?

These guys use radar hacks, full aim assist and no recoil on any gun.

Idk what the fuck codm is doing over there. Already 2 top 10 leaderboard hard hackers are reported but still unbanned. Then there's this infamous gxr from season 2 still unbanned.

And then there are these soft hack players, whom no matter how much everyone reports are never banned.

What's your playstyle?

As with most other shooter games, Call of Duty Mobile has a variety of players who utilize different strategies. Over the few months that I played this game for, I have been taking notes and generalizing different player strategies into these so-called "classes". So here is my list of some of the most common combat roles I see in Call of Duty Mobile. Please reply with your thoughts and what playstyle you think you are, especially if your playstyle isn't on this list. I would love to hear feedback so that I can improve this.

Assault/Assault Trooper

Specialty: Dealing damage

Description: Very reckless attackers who charge in head-first and don't care about their own safety. Assaults will look forward to taking the lead early so the rest of their teammates can follow suit. They are generally very good at storming through enemy defenses with force. Assaults will most likely have the highest kills on a team. Overall, Assaults make up the core fighting force of any squad. It is vital to have one.

Weapons: Assault Rifles, SMGs, Machine guns(less frequently), Pistols, Rocket Launchers

Attachments: Quickdraw, FMG rounds, Extended Mags

Operator Skill: Purifier, Death Machine, War Machine(hazardous!), Gravity Spikes

Lethal equipment: Frag Grenades, Sticky Grenades

Tactical equipment: Concussion Grenades, Flashbang Grenades

Perk 1: Flak Jacket, Agile, Persistence(maybe)

Perk 2: Vulture, Toughness

Perk 3: Demo Expert, Hardline

Scorestreaks: Hunter Killer Drone, Predator Missile, VTOL

Strengths: high damage, strong offense

Weaknesses: low defensive capabilities, vulnerable at long range, die really frequently

Most common in: Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint

Least common in: Search and Destroy, large maps

Specialty: holding positions

Please fix your game. There are lot of hackers in game banning them individually won't work. I am reporting them Everytime but I don't think it's even working.

After this update there is so much ping issues are there. I am constantly moving in my screen but in killcam I am standing still like and idiot and desync is just crazy. And there are other bugs like screen going black I have lost so many points this season due to that.

Why can't I mute people from sending messages. Even after all your banned words people still use toxic words somehow or they will just spam msg like 'i am really sorry' just today I had a match in Legenedary I lost one match and in next the same guy kept spamming that I couldn't even focus.

So many players complaining about bundles and crates situation but you guys aren't even replying. I know you might add bundles for everyone later but many player got many good items for lower prices and some had to spend much more for them. And guys like me who spend money but not like to gamble didn't spend anything but if I had bundles I would've definitely bought some of the skins and I am sure we aren't getting them back or people who already bought them through crates aren't getting their cp back that's clearly a scam and I am sure many players will be unhappy.

One of the things that is annoying and not skill based are scorestreaks and operator skills they are already not fitting for rank but these were fine untill the addition of hive. The trips mines were already so annoying so I started using only hardwire or flak jacket, from the start never used any class without either one. And now thing like hives are added I can't even use a perk to counter that people just sit in a corner in hardpoint with hives I even try to shoot them and get shot by enemy or there are so many hives can't even notice. So unskilled gameplay makes the game so boring. The addition of hardpoint and tdm campers already making the game boring don't make it more for skilled players who would want...

I made a different account and got bundles in that one. But my main account is in leaderboard this season and to start from scratch lol.

Flying under the radar soft hack leaderboard players. Hard hacks leaderboard players. No one is getting banned and moreover no bundles for me. What is up with COD:Mobile?

Yes I'm in leaderboard this season top 50. I'm also poor and never invested in crates. My clan leader bought me the battle pass this season and when I see those people using rich skins and everything, and esp when they all noobs. Atleast give me the bundles eh.
I grind so hard 10 hours a day, finding the op teams and then I see hackers getting ez leaderboard positions.

Can we finally have some mw weapons? we need some modern combat weapons. The new guns are only bo weapons. The community has been asking for mw weapons include the early exposed file weapons from season 1. If the leak is true, what the hell are you waiting for, just release them one by one. I'm fine with bo style but I thought codm is a mixture from bo and mw. why is the game full of futuristic weapons and stuffs. I can barely recognize any mw content. We truly need more mw content in game. (red dot, attachments, weapons)
To tencent weapons designer, what the hell is going on. Why can't you see that asm10 is oversized in the game. Asm10 is the worst looking gun in the game because it looks so freaking big if you conpare to ak117 and m4. If you put a 2x scope on it it almost covers the half of the screen. What is that supposed to mean? Just fix that by changing it to the bo2 an94 model or even bo4 an94 model
The attachments are too less in current game! There are only 3 scope on assault rifle and 2 on smg. You can't put any scope on pump gun and pistol.It lacks a lot of the classic cod attachments.Are you kidding me? It disappointed me a lot at the beginning. None of the cod game has so little attachments. Also the attachments doesn't change the look. Normally wheb you have extended mag the magazin will be extended but it's not so in codm. The stock has the same problem. The weird thing is, the attachments has effect on the look of a weapon but only in Brazil mode. is the developer too lazy? Please fix that!
The graphic can still be better. With no offense the game already has a amazing graphic especially on my iPad air 3 with a12 chip which is one of the best mobile gaming device. I can run graphic and frame rate very high but both not max. I know clearly that the game doesn't use full potential of my device ,actually far fron the limit, which means it can run a way better graphic setting without lagging. But unfortunately the game doesn't even have a better graphic setting. I can understand that low devices...

I Need Help With Ranked

Before I made it to Master I, I was always in the top three and I could get a large amount of kills. But now that I am in Master I, I always find myself getting less kills and score-streaks. All of the teammates I have are so good but yet every time I play with them I feel like useless weight holding them down. So I came to Reddit to not only share my experience, but I also came for help and tips on how to play better. The Community is pretty nice and helpful. My question is: how can I get better at ranked matches at Master I-Legendary? Any tips or advice? Thanks.
