Is it just me, or do we need another collection event?

The last one we had was fireworks for chinese new year(like around beginning of February). They could’ve done one with shamrocks for st patricks day, its just been wayyyy to long since the last one. For the time being, it could be collecting radioactive symbols (joke by the way) like the next one will prob be during easter, thats the only seasonal one I can think of. Which seems like a large gap between the last one and this one. Does anyone else feel this way?

Quick question about those Crates. Specifically the “Golden Crate,” and those Golden Crate Tickets you can buy in the store...

  • I’m sorry if this has been asked already, but for like a month now I’ve been buying 4 “Golden Crate Tickets” (they only let you buy 4) every single day. Just so I can open up a “Season 3 Golden Crate” about every other 3rd day.

  • In that month I’ve gotten nothing but Credits. Literally every single Crate I’ve opened. Credits. Credits. Credits. Then I thought about the “Battle Crates” I get awarded sometimes. I realized it’s the same thing with those too. Just more and more credits.

  • I was thinking about spending some of my real money so I can open some of the other crates. The crates that you get open through rewards. The ones you can only open if you spend some of your real money. But I don’t want to do it and end up just getting more credits. That’s just the waste of time and money.

So I ask...

  • Has anyone gotten a really good pulls when opening up a crate? Like if I spend money to open some crates, do you think it’s worth it? Or should I just not even waste my time? And how about those Golden Crates and the Golden Crate Tickets I’ve been buying? Has anyone pulled anything good from that crate? I don’t know if I’m just having bad luck or if Activision (or whoever else is making the game) is just messing with people and the only thing anyone can get in a Golden Crate is Credits?

what happened? nothing. everything they said was a whole load of bullshit

and now almost to s4, they still claim guns like MSR barret50 are coming out which is highly unbelievable imo. only leaks i believe is the 48 dredge as there was captured footage.

Black screen in COD Mobile

I'm frequently getting black screen in cod mobile while playing BR matches only. Other matches are working fine. No issues. I tried clearing cache,storage from my android. Even i reinstalled my game. But no avail. Twice in every BR match I'm getting this issue. Cod mobile support is very bad. Once in a month they will reply to my query. Any help.

Do you also have at least 50% of every Battle Royal filled with bots?

I started playing 2 weeks ago and hit legendary with a 50% winrate today.

I was really hoping as i climb the ranks, the bots in my games would get less but that's really not the case. And i'm not talking about bad players, i mean literally bots that follow the exact same behavioural pattern.

E.g when you shoot one of the bots from range, they will not try to hide, they will instantly stand still and start to heal. This looks like they have a routine programmed in that checks if anyone is close and if no one is close and they don't have full health they insantly start healing. Mid open field while beeing attacked.

Then you have the granade throwing bots, they will imidiality stand still when they see you, and throw a nade to the initial position you where standing in when they saw you (even if you are already far away from that position).

Also i see exactly the same names in almost every game. The name always consists of two randome words with the first letter capitalized.

They also never use vehicles or take loot crates and don't have any skins.

You can also easily make a lot of kills if you know what path they are likely to use to get to the zone. They literally move in herds and sometimes all run into the same direction with only 20-50 meters spacing in between where they could easily see and kill each other.

I play solo TPP, solo FPP and solo in squad FPP.

Am i the only one with this problem or is that just normal?

It's not fair that both Multiplayer and BR give the same amount of clan points. A multiplayer match could lasts just more than 5 minutes, while a BR can last more than 15. I agree with 6 points for multiplayer, but please add more clan points for the BR matches.

Season 4's Master 2 rank reward will be Man o war for MP and Ruin character skin for BR

Rank changes:

Same old shit of making matchmaking better etc.

Scrapyard is removed from rank map rotation and meltdown is included instead

Season 4 battle pass:

Skin for paid battle pass users is David Mason and a character called Section

The new GKS smg is a low recoil, high accuracy SMG suited for long range fights. (This is coming in the free battle pass)

Shock RC is coming in the free battle pass

New modes:

  1. Team gun game

2 objectives to win the game, either finish the gun ladder as usual or your team reaches 60 kills in total

  1. 2v2 (for reference, look at 2019 modern warfare)

Simple. 2v2, everyone gets the same weapons and utility, first team to 6 wins.

Game mode changes:

Prop hunt

Prop hunt is now only 2 rounds (finally) but each round is longer, changing from 3 min per round to 4 min per round (no one is gonna play this anyways)
It is now possible to join the game midway and the player's points will be adjusted accordingly (they didnt specify how though)

A.I mode

Only you are in a match and no other real players will be inside your match.

Respawn invincibility is reduced to 4 seconds for both Frontline and A.I mode

Sniper only mode is changed to default scope only (FINALLY)

Gun game has a new gun rotation

Im going to skip nerfs and buffs since pretty much everyone knows them already

Meltdown

Tdm, SnD, Sniper only, Gun game: both FFA and Team are playable on the map

Improvements in gameplay:

Sliding and jumping animations have been optimised

Bug fixes:

Your own trophy systems blocking your own grenades have been fixed

A bug regarding the kill effect of the DLQ holiday skin has been fixed

Server reconnecting issue

Yo guys, another enthusiastic player here. Ever since this pandemic and global lockdown, my game is very iffy. It won't let me play properly and keeps reconnecting. I dont have wifi and I've been using mobile data ever since the game launched and have played countless hours with no hick ups.

But lately, the game keeps reconnecting and I cant play properly. It's gotten so bad that I havent even played in a couple days, earlier I'd played a couple times a day. BR, zombie and MP all are affected. The thing keeps disconnecting and the serves keeps reconnecting. There is no flow and its very bothersome. My network is working A1 and I have no problems with other games or even while streaming. My download speed for mobile data is off the charts. I'm able to download a GB in 10 or so minutes so my speed is proper but idk the game never plays fluently anymore.

All my settings are fine, games updated and caches cleared regularly. I'm a little tech-y so I've tried the usual things I know but it still isnt working. Any helps guys? I'm on an android btw

Despite not facing fps drops or high ping, high graphics worsen my gameplay, why?

High graphics give me the same ping as being on medium graphics and fps is still at max (ipad pro with fibrenet).
And yet If I play on high graphics, my shots don't connect as much and gameplay worsens.
I love high graphics on codm, I really love it but if only I could play with it in ranked matches.
My ping doesn't go high and fps doesn't drop then why

..do you think it would be good to make the Battlepass a little expensive and make the crates cheaper? I'm just fed up seeing everyone getting the same skins for like 3 dollars. Yes. In my country, all you need is 3 dollars to get the pass. X10 crates is like 5 dollars(which would probably give you nothing but blue rarity skins). I know, the best thing that will ever happen is lowering them both but lets be real, it wont happen.

🧟‍♀️Zombie return wish list🧟

Now that zombies will be removed i would like to give a wishlist for when it comes back

1.keep the same reward system its pretty good (except fix the odds because people complain allot on dempsey shards)

2.A pack a punch quest:
Don’t make it so that pack a punch is there straight off it takes away the pleasure of pack a punching and also add a camo to it(don’t make the quest too hard)

3.more weapon customization and variety:
I think we need more weapon customization because it sucks to have a cool skin on a mystery box weapon and not be able to customize it, We also need more weapon variety since there is barely any guns to choose from

4.more default wonder weapons or credit store wonder weapons:
By “default” wonder weapons i mean OG wonder weapons like the raygun,wuderwaffe,thundergun,etc. On the other hand, just like the custom wonder weapon skins like the HG-40 Lava,make some free versions on different guns sold on the credit store.

5.Make zombies more challenging but less tanky:
Zombies isn’t really challenging since the max number of zombies (on solo) is just 11 as well as the zombies’s max speed is just sort of like fast walking, they also have too much health and almost every weapon is ineffective against them on rounds as low as round 6

6.update it frequently:
When you the developers said that the game mode didn’t reach your expectations you were just making an excuse for not updating the mode AT ALL for over 2 MONTHS and obviously it would lose interest quick so don’t do that next time.

7.make the main quests longer and add some boss fights to survival mode:
I really appreciate the main quests with boss fights but i think these are too short, Survival mode should also give you a boss fight but after beating it you should get a choice to continue or not to add more playability.

8.Make zombies a permanent mode:
This game mode was a staple to the game before it released and hyped the community so much during season 1 and I honestly think it deserves that left side of the M in the main menu again.

Please instate a penalty for false reports, and also a reward helping ban a confirmed cheater

The problem with the current state of self-reporting

False reporting is becoming a real issue inside CODM. I've been matched with and against people who would threaten to report someone for illegitimate/personal reasons. The current state of the game is one where it's more common to find people who threaten to report good, legitimate players than to report the real culprits.

Here's why this is a problem:

  • In the developer notes, it was stated that reports are manually reviewed by a human on the fraud team. With the prevalence of false reporting, this greatly increases the amount of work that needs to be done to get through all the reports. Humans make human errors; which may lead to real cheaters slipping through the cracks of what may be hundreds of thousands of false reports.
  • It leads to many legitimate players getting banned, as we saw in the recent ban wave. A mistake of this level should have never occurred in the first place.
  • And with the knowledge that legitimate players can easily get banned from a simple report, immature players will see that as an incentive to abuse the report function.

Solution: tiered penalties for those who knowingly abuse the report function

Here's a metric I've defined to identify those who are abusing the report system: report_count:confirmed_cheater ratio. In other words, those who send in tons of reports where the majority of which do not ever get verified by the system or anyone on the team gets a penalty. I think something around 5-10 reports per 1 confirmed cheater would be a fair ratio.

The penalty should scale with frequency of abuse:

  • 1st offense: Simple warning. Report function will be disabled for this player for n days
  • 2nd-3rd offense: Report function disabled for a longer duration for this player
  • 4th+ offense: this player has shown a history of repeatedly abusing the report function despite warnings. Either penalty works: permanent disabling of the report function for this player, or a 10-year ban for this player's accoun...

Anyone else experiencing extreme lag in BR?

Ping would randomly jump to 199ms and everything stops moving. The error message "failed to reconnect" would pop up and only able to rejoin the match after you have been killed. This is happening quite often lately and is very frustrating since even bots could kill me during the lag. I have 30mbps internet connection and I can play other online games just fine without any lag.

Why am I being paired with such high level players?

Today while playing rank I couldn't play properly at all. Players with S36 and something A117 kept butchering us and every kill I made was from either the purfier or a grenade. I am still on level 30 and those guns haven't been unlocked.

I guess some players might have bought those guns with those stupid colour spectrums but it is taking the fun out of the game.

Today while playing Domination I just couldn't kill one guy. Know matter how much I fired, he only died once and that was because he fired the grenade gun on his feet.

I just started gaming like two weeks ago so ignore if something obvious is missed.

I reached master 1 solo but really want a squad now to grind higher.

I got the lotus in January and then stopped playing ranked to get the skin and avatar in ranked battle royale. I got that recently and went back to ranked. I got from pro 3-5 in one day last week and reached master 1 today but solo is unbearable. I’ve had numerous matches in pro 5 where my score is either highest or second highest (behind the other team’s MVP) but still I get 8 points taken away because my randoms go 1-13.

I was hoping to find other masters who push objective and know the rotation in hardpoint.

Duplicate Button Settings.

Let us have the option to duplicate buttons (like shoot, scope, jump, crouch) so that we can have multiple. For example, being able to put a jump button on both sides of my screen. It wouldn’t hurt the players who don’t need it since it would be optional and it could be beneficial to people with weird play styles like myself.

Upvote if you like tohave all maps available just for ranked TDM?

Look I get it, not all maps are suitable for certain gamemodes (imagine Takeoff for Hardpoint or Hijacked), but TDM is just running around killing ppl.

I am getting bored of the same map on ranked. Just make those maps exclusive for TDM. It's getting repetitive seeing the maps over and over.

Oh and I think Hardpoint in Cage would be pretty interesting. I also like the complex layout of Takeoff for S&D would be cool too but I understand the running is annoying for many of us.

Delete Reinstall?

If I have to delete and reinstall the app, will my control and button layout settings be wiped? (my account is linked to FB)

I’m considering deleting and reinstalling due to an issue: see below (posted prev, but no response).

Glitching when near enemy? + Trip Mines Disappearing?

So it seems that no matter how steller ones internet connection is, the glitch seems to be just that, a glitch. Almost each time I am in range of enemies, I freeze for about 2 seconds, then die on the 3rd.

Also, it'll be nice to have things like trip mines not disappear when you die (like the console games). Sam Turrets and Sentry Guns (which are extremely weak by the way) seem to stay even upon respawning. But our trip mines upon death? nope. But I'm just talking to dead air lol. Oh well, I tried developers.

You will be missed Zombies.

I loved Zombies. I know it wasn't perfect, that's a fact not an opinion. It needed some more work.

However, I still loved it. It might be a mini-game compared to kino der toten and Transit but, hopefully, one day it'll come back, better, prettier and here to stay.

Let’s end this.. SEASON 4 OR 5?

There has been a lot of confusion going around in this subreddit regarding the subject of whether which season are we in right now and which one is coming in April 1st.

We as far know that we are currently in Season 3, but we had a battle pass called Disavowed. Don’t let this distract you from the fact that battle passes don’t have relation with ranked ladder, so avoid that confusion aside.

Next season/ranked is Season 4, and the new battle pass is a season 5 battle pass, and how do I know this? Well the new scorestreak is available in the battle pass free rewards as a new way of obtaining a scorestreak. The battle pass is “Steel Legion” I think, or at least what the theme it is.

Fell free to correct me if i am wrong with no problem, the point of this post is to spread information about the misleading conception in between this new content.

I already know about the Nerf on some guns and how some guns got buffed and the season 3 ranked change and season 5 but why has nothing changed I notice no difference in guns that were nerfed and buffed so what really changed and I also saw some posts that showed update now for season 4 ranked mode and season 5 and a new lucky draw but how come nothing changed for me

Best way to fix the character models and other graphics stuff!

The only reason we have bad character faces is because the game moved from Unreal Engine to Unity during the second Indian beta which resulted in bad character faces and stuff because everything was made for unreal and they moved to unity. Create a petition and tell them to move back to Unreal Engine and everything will be fine. The devs can definitely move back to old engine if they can get on a new engine!! Do a thumbs up and someone might create a petition that might make this happen lol

I tried the msmc and type and it seems like it changed already. But there's no reference in the patch notes of any nerfs, so I dont know if that's just my intuition or they really nerfed the guns already. Is there any official statement about this?

Guys the new update in global version is out in some regions but it will be out on all regions just be patient and check it every hour in play store if you receive it

Some people are panicking about

(When ranks will be rest)
(When update is out)

Dev's are doing their best just please don't panic,
The only thing to do is by be patient

Let's discuss the weapon balances.

I've only tried the MSMC and Type 25 as they are my favorite guns in the game and it's sad to see them get nerfed. I feel like the MSMC is now garbage. The recoil is MUCH MORE hard to control and you can barely use it in Mid Range. Before that I've been able to use it in Mid Range with ease. Been beating ARs as such in Mid Range but now I feel like it cannot. The recoil is just too much now and the increased TTK at Close Range is REALLY noticeable. I'm still keeping it in my loadouts until maybe a more suitable SMG comes around, although I won't be using it as much. Maybe I'll use the PDW instead but I don't really know yet.

As for the Type 25 it certainly is not the same. I feel like the recoil has been increased but it may just be me however. The damage decrease at Close Range is also noticeable but not that much imo. It's still a good AR but maybe the AK-47 would be better now although I still haven't tried it out yet.

Major issue.

I use 4 fingers. Recently, when move, look and shoot at the same time the game glitches, it doesn't shoot and my character looks up and does nothing. When I tried jumping, looking and moving that did the same thing. The game is unplayable at this point. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Greetings Call of Duty: Mobile Community, we are back once again with another community update and a little bit earlier than normal thanks to the update that just released!

If you haven’t already, check out the App Store or Google Play Store to see if you have the option to update Call of Duty: Mobile to the newest version. As per usual, those updates may take time to roll out to all regions so just hang tight and keep checking back.

On top of this in-game update, we are preparing for the next season, Steel Legion, which will be releasing next week at the beginning of April. Every single day we’ll have a variety of announcements, news, and highlights coming out in-game and through our social media channels.

Before we get to that though, here is a long look at Meltdown. It is live in-game right now.

That’s right, our Youtube channel is alive and kicking once again! We plan to have more video content regularly available there, especially as we move into these themed seasons. In the immediate future, we may or may not have a Steel Legion trailer releasing there soon. Keep an eye out.

As a part of this update we’ll have a new ranked season (with new rewards and changes), a new Battle Pass, new MP modes, a new version of BR’s Warfare mode, and more that we aren’t revealing entirely just through the patch notes. You’ll have to check back next week for more.

Exploiting The Movement System

ok I see people who exploit the movement of the game via spamming jump and crouch and tbh I honestly think the people who do this should be banned for exploiting because your legit making your hitbox invisible to hit and whenever you spam crouch and jump and sprint you break the game and technically have an unfair advantage

also, decrease the Aim Assist for those who use controllers its broken and exploitable

Opinions about the new update?

Firstly, the free skins are really good now compared to a lot of the rubbish previously.

I played around 10 games in meltdown, testing all the guns that were updated. They basically killed the s36 first of all. The type 25 is kind of still the same while the msmc is much more difficult to use at medium range now. The Bk 15 is really good and the ak 47 is kind of better now. I don't see much difference in the ICR. The unexpectedly good gun is the Asm1 right now, it is killing quick surprisingly. They also improved the bots I think and I hate the bot system anyway.

Also they should give more of those tokens to grind for cause it's too little to get anything right now. Perhaps they don't want people to play for too long.

I missed the cod mobile task 141 event!

I haven't been playing cod mobile for a while because I was taking a break, anyways I login today and I recieve a Warzone coin from playing Warzone on playstation and I never knew that you were able to get free epic skins on cod mobile and I tried looking for the event menu but I realized I missed the event. Is there any possibilities that it will ever come back?

Friendly reminder

Now that we've gotten a community update by the devs (which sounds awesome btw), I would just like to remind all of you to please observe polite and constructive feedback when addressing stuff, moving forward.

The devs are also human beings with limits like us, and the fact that they listen to us before updates is something we should be appreciative of.

I understand if you feel angry and mad at certain things, but there is always a proper way to go about it rather than spam posting and "boycotting" on certain days.

First impressions of update

Seems, killcam bug has been finally sorted out.

Regarding nerfs/buffs, I'll still use type 25, it's fast fire rate and mobility makes up for short range nerf it got. Msmc felt little different.

Tried using ak47, asm10 but didn't like them, neither did before.

Ui has been polished and gameplay felt smoother.

Meltdown is a treat!

The exchange event is very well thought out, will keep players occupied.

Overall feels great, great job developers!
