Tencent needs to fix ranked penalties

Before you get the wrong idea let me explain. As we all know if you leave a ranked game in progress you lose rank and get banned from ranked for a set amount of time. However this also applies to game crashes. In the event your game crashes you have about 30 seconds to go back into the app, load all the resources, load into the actual game, get the popup asking if you want to go back into the ranked match, hit ok, and load into the game. 30 seconds isnt enough to do this. Everytime my game crashes in a ranked game i have about enough time to get the pop-up, but when i hit ok it either just penalizes me right there and doesnt load the match or pull up the map loading screen and then say "player could not be found" or a similar error screen, then send me back to the main menu and penalize me. Tencent should increase the time to get back in to 60-90 seconds to allow slower devices time to get back in because i have lost hundreds if not thousands of rank to game crashes and its held me in master 4 for the longest.

Daily reminder not to forget people are STILL being unfairly banned

Yes I saw the posts of some people being unbanned. Thanks for that. But at the same time posts are still popping up of recent unfair bans, one including someone who was just unbanned then got banned again for no reason. These people all seem to spend a lot of money on this game and play a lot. But I’m sure some others are being banned also.

They clearly read reddit posts, we can’t stop posting about this. Let them know we notice and find it unacceptable. There have been so many lies from activision including that all bans are final and they can’t unban anyone. Well people have clearly been unbanned the question is why are they being banned in the first place. I have no confidence in buying lucky draws because half these banned people said they just bought the whole lucky draw played a couple games then got banned.

u/COD_Mobile_Official please update us on this issue. We will not stop with these PSAs until we get some real answers.

Back in season 1 when you had a legendary player in the enemy team you knew you gonna lose. But nowadays there are so many legendarys which often arent even good. They should make the ranking system like the one back in season 1. It is way too easy to get legendary

Lethals need to be fixed

Lethals need to be thrown faster, when I try to throw a lethal it feels like it takes ages, and by the time a lethal has been thrown the enemy is gone, and for that reason I think people dont use lethals much, also when a smoke granade has been thrown, people with graphics on low can literally see throo the smoke or sometimes the smoke dosent show up on there screen, its bs and needs to be fixed.

Need a new clan

I joined my current clan a long time ago when I first started the game and have never left—mainly for the XP boost after matches. Problem is that there has literally never been a time where I have been online with a fellow clan member. I check every time I’m on and nothing. I’m always top-3 each week in clan participation so I can see others are playing—just not when I am.

I’m currently Master III in BR and Master I in MP (grinding hard for Tank AK right now), I’m level 150 (have been for a while), and I’m looking for another clan to join where I can actually play together with clan mates.

My gametag is WarLawEagle and my profile/stats are public. I live in Nashville, TN in the Central Time Zone and usually play here and there during the day but mostly at night 9:30pm-ish to whenever (and when I am not playing Warzone).

If you think I’d be a good fit let me know, as the whole “actually playing with people in your clan” part of CODM is the only piece of this experience that I’m missing.

COD Mobile on iPad with Xbox controller

Good evening,

Have only just started exploring the possibilities of using the Xbox controller on this but I’m having issues with sensitivity, more specifically when I’m trying to pan left or down. It’s very jerky. Up and right are smooth as silk, can move it tiny amounts with precision. Nothing wrong with the controller itself, works perfect on pc and Xbox. Sensitivity settings do adjust it... but not the lack of precision left and down. Has anyone else noticed this?

Hardpoint bug

The match was 149-138, even though there were no enemies in the hardpoint it said contested. I even used a predator missile but no enemies. Because of this I lost the game.

Server connection issues

Hey everyone, I've been experiencing some server connection issues lately. My device is OnePlus 6 and I have a perfect connection to WiFi without any interruptions. What happens is that the players in game seem to be frozen and my gun shots don't kill them. Sometimes it just says 'there was an error connecting to the server' giving two options to either quit or retry. Can anyone help?

So I run a low spec device. The game runs pretty well as long as my wifi does. The issue I'm curious about whether they did this on intent or it is fir some reason all female skins are Outrider Jungle and all male skins are Spec Ops 1 skin. Was that made on intent so that it makes it run smoother for the low spec devices or a big bug that hasn't been fixed and was just ignored since Season 1 day 1 of the game?

Grinding to legendary with two thumbs has been awful. Working my way up only to hit losing streaks and fall back to the beginning of Master V. I spent more time on Master V than any other Master level.

Ranked Matches...

I was into COD when it first came out years ago and kept with it up to Modern Warfare. Great games. What happened after? Where did Hardpoint, Search and Destroy and Domination enter the picture? HP and Dom truly suck and in RM, without a solid team, they really, really suck. It’s endless losing accompanied by ridiculous amounts of worthless running from place to place. Someone needs to explain the enjoyment here, I must be missing something.

Battle Pass Question

Is there some kind of logic to battle pass themes?

The first season was Ghost and g-series, but the lv 100 weapon was a red ak47?
Season 2, Alex Mason, Alaska-stuff, icy weapons. Makes sense. But then you get Ruin Jade who doesn't fit in at all imo.
Season 3 - we get 2 BPs, Phantom, pulsar stuff, FTL, irradiated amethyst. Ok. Geometry weapons somehow fit them too. Soap and MacTavish weapons are ok. Urban Tracker we don't know anything about, so brambles might be ok. But how do vikings themed weapons fit in?

I just don't understand if the BPs have some kind of theme or if they are randomly thrown together from past games. Maybe someone knows.

*Disclaimer: I am not complaining about what we are getting, I just would love to understand what is going on. Thought I'd mention this.

I made a little research and found out the reason that causes critical issue with the app

You may have faced this bug or you’ve seen people complaining about it.

So, basically what happens is when the game is opened for a long time it starts getting laggy and slow. As time goes it’s getting worse and worse, till the moment when app crashes or you open the match but you can’t see enemies and your weapon. Pretty sad situation, especially if you play ranked matches. But I’m sure I found the reason and know the way to fix it.

The reason is the way chat works. The messages are not stored on servers or cloud, they go directly to your device. So all the messages are stored in your device’s RAM. It becomes a problem, because once you’re open the app it starts receiving messages non-stop from world chat. Even if you’re in the match. So as time goes there are more and more messages stored on your device, and the app takes more and more memory. Of course, RAM is not infinite, so eventually everything will start lagging and working a lot slower. Until the moment when you start the match, but you have no weapon and see no enemies because there’s not enough memory to load them.

Reopening the app helps, but not all people know that you have to reopen the game from time to time. I want everybody to enjoy the game and not thinking about problems like this, so it would be wonderful if admins would notice this post and pass information to developers. All developers have to do to fix this issue is make sure only last 50-100 messages in world chat are stored on the device, not more.

Sorry for bad English, it’s not my first language. I did my best to explain everything, hoping that developers will see it and fix the problem with the next update.

4 Finger playing. Could someone please give me some tips.

I'm not a pro player by any means (I'm only level 77) but I feel like I can improve my playing by moving from 2 fumbs to 4 fingers. I know there's 5 finger options but that feels like it would be to complicated for me and to difficult on a phone screen, so I'm going to stick with 4. I have found a good control set up and then adjusted a few things to make it better for myself already. But I would really like to have any other tips I could get. Thank you! Btw my phone has a 5.8" screen. (Haters, please stay away. I'm just trying to improve my playing.)

In ranked I always seem to die a lot when playing objective (solo que). Mine isn’t great it’s a 2.5 but I get dragged down by going 30-20 in hardpoint and stuff like that. For people not camping or playing tdm every mode what’s the highest ranked kd you have seen.

The definition of OP

What is OP to be excact? Something seriously overpowered, or a term to use for weapons that are somewhat better than the others? No weapon should be better than some other, rather everything should be at balance. If ferg or someone says that omg this is so OP!, you should not listen to those pesky youtubers. They could get a nuke with a potato if it would be added as an weapon. Just go your own way, and find your own favourite.

Can’t Sprint With Controller?

I’ve been using an Xbox One controller for months now and all of a sudden, with one of the recent updates, the controller no longer sprints when I push the stick forward. The click to sprint has never worked but now the push to sprint doesn’t even work. The only remedy so far has been using always sprint, which I don’t want to use.

Upcoming Concern: Kn-44-----the New S36

since many people have grinded for the new Kn-44 hard, i have realized that i pretty much only get killed by the new Kn-44 although there is just one guy on the enemy with it. When I started using it, it felt like some breed between the recoil of a HG40/ ICR-1, The damage of a AK-47(high headshot damage) and the range of a ICR -1 (three levels of damage dropoff, damage decreases very little between ranges), it is starting to affect the meta, like the Type 25 and MSMC cannot go full auto on long ranged targets, yet the Kn-44 still shreds at close range. The only downside is u have to equip vulture or the bullets simply aren't enough without picking up and using other weapons.

Bug For Months now

When I go to settings, where it says Facebook it says it’s “Linked” I can’t figure out why i can’t get a profile picture. Account got hacked, help

My account got hacked(don't ask how), the person used my credits up and renamed my account to a racial slur. Deleted all my friends and started playing ranked matches to make me drop.

When I got on to play I was already in a match,afk
If I join a match somones gonna report me for my username. I have 25 credits left.

Wtf are the ranked matchups

In nearly every game I play in ranked, my friend and I are put with people who ARE ABSOLUTE GARBAGE in modes like Hardpoint and domination, the teammates will not go for the objective and we end up playing 4v5 or 3v5 which is nearly impossible to win. We end up losing so many points because of that and it’s extremely difficult to progress. Does anybody know what’s going on?

So I asked my friend to help me with the task force 141 event and gave him my activison account and password, then it turned out I need a blizzard account too, so I made one and sent him, he logged in and completed the tutorial, I waited for more than 72 hours, didn't recieved the coin, then someone asked me about linking blizzard account and activision account, I told him I didn't, so he said that's why you didn't received the coin, so yesterday I linked the accounts, and told my friend to log in again, but tutorial can't be played again, so my question is will I receive the coin now? 1)So from my observation this scumbag actually enjoys the negativity and hate that the community throws at him.
2)Another important thing I noticed is that his account is still fairly new as in one of his videos there’s an arrow indicating him to use his operator skill (something that happens only when ur account is new)this means that he might have been banned before.
3)He is using his hacks in game as a way to promote his YouTube channel and in turn his boosting services .
The sad part here is that people actually pay this loser to carry them to legendary rank. They would rather pay to have someone carry them up the ranks using hacks in a mobile game than to try grinding themselves. My advice right now would be to completely ignore his YouTube channel. Don’t watch YouTube videos. Don’t give him the satisfaction he wants. Dislike his videos but don’t give him watch time or comments on his videos as he literally craves it.
And if there are any people reading this who might have bought such boosting services or are planning on buying them please think about your life for 5 minutes. You are encouraging hacking on a mobile platform and ruining the experience for god knows how many people. You don’t have to pay such trash people to be better at the game. Please stop.

Locus Cosmos Event (Garena)

there was an event in the garena version where you have to stay online for more than an hour and the rewards is the locus cosmos crates, and you can get 3 if you complete the amout of time it tells you to be online... or atleast thats what i thought, because i was online for 2 hours playing battle royale to make time pass by quicker, i completed the three challenges, BUT i only got ONE locus cosmos crate, is this a glitch bc you're supposed to get THREE crates or it gives you just one crate??

Why DLQ can't one hit someone when you shot them in the chest or even in the head sometimes. And sometimes there's a delay or like when you shot them first but you still one who die even its a headshot definitely headshot. Even I have low ping.

Warzone Skin help

Hey peeps, I need some help. I asked support and it’s been 3 days no response. When I first started playing CoDM I used Facebook login. All progression has been saved there. I have COD on my Xbox and I would like to redeem the warzone skins on mobile. How can I link my COD account without losing my progression. Every time I log out and log in via COD account ( on CODM) it’s like starting a whole new game.

What if they added diving to CoDM? don't kill me plz, just a suggestion

WARNING: This is just opinion based. Don't freak out in the comments or anything, I just think it would be an interesting feature.

So, I've been thinking about this for a while.... like in the title, what if the creators implemented a diving feature into Call of Duty Mobile? It might seem a bit odd but it could be similar to sliding.

To activate it, you could be sprinting then tap and hold jump to activate it and the player would essentially dive and roll. The player would jump a little father then a slide and would travel through the air. Another feature they could add to it is when you jump off a building, it would reduce the fall damage you take.

Has battle royal been forgotten

I’ve been playing codM since season one and has token a very strong liking in the br in it b can’t help but notice that there are still obviously big problems in it and a lot of glitches like the FOV glitch when you glide in any type of way your FOV resets but the biggest one yet is the op class the emp drone. I saw that they did try nerfing it in season 2 I believe but not good enough it can still tank 5 Ak shots and that’s saying a lot since the AK is one of the strongest gun and since it’s so small you have to compensate for the recoil and in solos it is so op especially in a high ranked game everyone is using it and I can’t even have fun using the new class because h The drone is so dumb op and it doesn’t even follow the fundamentals of an actual EMP an actual EMP doesn’t slow you movement down nor restrict you from swooping weapons and the radius of the EMP plus the slow movement you can’t run fast enough n if you don’t have the right gun out you can’t switch so in result you lose the gunfight so please consider playing your own game and put classes in that take skill to use

Capture The Flag instead of Team Deathmatch in ranked

I was just thinking, CODM should feature Capture The Flag (or any other higher skill game modes) instead of Team Deathmatch at higher ranks. The issue with TDM is that the game is too short and requires much lesser skill and team strategy. One teammate who is weaker in mechanics could instantly screw your team over. Furthermore, TDM is less exciting than the other game modes currently in ranked, and is also not seen in competitive play. I suggest that from Rookie to Elite, players are offered TDM as well as SnD, Domination and Hardpoint (unlocked at respective ranks as usual), while from Pro to Legendary, TDM is replaced with CTF, while SnD Hardpoint and Domination remain in the rotation.

Suggestion for next season

They should make an all black version of the basic knife. It would look a bit different, but it would look amazing. Make it grind-able somehow like a hard challenge like heavy shot or put it on the ranked rewards for BR or MP. I think this would be a great add to the game as long as you don’t have to pay for it.

Since I noticed a few people not knowing how to get the free warzone skins, here’s a quick guide

I did it from on my cousins PS4 yesterday and here’s how I did it in less than 10 minutes from scratch:

  • make a new psn account
  • make a new activision account
  • log in with new activision account
  • do the warzone tutorial
  • log in on the official cod website with your activision account
  • link (the facebook account that’s connected to) your cod mobile account to your activision account

When I checked about 8 hours later I got the token in my COD mobile inbox. Hope this helps!

Battle pass characters

Alright I hope we get some character skin which related to " CoD" in next battlepass .. cuz the last character is good and everything but I don't see her vaulable like " ruin - Jade " or " FTL" .. ruin jade from bo3 and FTL is from iw .. until now they only gave us 1 bo3 skin in s2 and literally ever bo3 skin they just keep putting them in lucky draws and crates .. idk about u but I really don't like that they gave us that female skin ...I would prefer outrider، battery or serpah epic skin instead .. at least they are valuable cuz u know who they are

Ranked mode has some serious issues.

I want to start off by saying that I'm really not trying to come off as bitchy, but I have been grinding ranked mode for weeks and am not making any progress because of one issue. The matchmaking. I really don't think Tencent understands how a ranked mode works. When I play ranked, and I wait almost 2 whole minutes to get into a singular session, I like to assume that I am going to be put in a lobby with people who play similarly to me, but that is not the case at all. It really seems like I get placed with teammates who have no idea what an objective is. They never have any coordination whatsoever, and they don't try to communicate in the slightest. They just run around and try to shoot whoever they see. This may work in a TDM game, but 9 times out of 10 I get put in a different game mode. Needless to say, I always try my hardest and I almost always get MVP on my team, not like it's that hard though, and the enemy team is almost always the most professional team of badasses who camp in literally every spot and do everything they can to play the objective.

I am currently sitting at a Pro IV rank, and have dipped down to Pro III multiple times simply because of this. Ranked mode, correct me if I'm wrong, is supposed to be a mode where you should be placed with people at the same skill level as you, not just a handful of people who have gotten to that rank by getting carried all of the time. I really don't know what the chances of Tencent seeing this are, nut this is an issue I really, REALLY hope gets resolved at some point. And if it's not going to be fixed, at least make it so it doesn't deduct points for losing, because I shouldn't have to be punished for getting put on a shit team.

Like I said, I'm really not trying to sound bitchy, but it's annoying. Infuriating, to say the least.

❗️We Need 10 Loadout Classes❗️

Everyone is talking about hackers, bugs, glitches, and this, and that, and i get that. Buuuutttt 🍑, do you know what we really need? 10 Total Loadouts. 5 is simply not enough! It gets the job done for sure, but having 10 would just be waaayyy more fun . And I’d assume it would be an easy thing to implement right?
So yeah. Give us 5 more classes. I got too many skins and too many guns that ain’t being used 🥺. PLUS, They’re adding more stuff to the game soooooo, we’ll need more classes eventually

Genuinely, fix captain price lol

I recall people were complaining regarding Soap's model but I believe that is nothing compared to the tragedy of Price's model.

When it released in S1 there was complaints but seems to have led to nothing, just wanted to bring this back into the light on how he looks so scuffed especially since he is available again in the warzone event.

I heard that apparently they plan to look into the feedback about Soap and might do something but I believe that their attention should be focused on Price in terms of remodelling.

Black screening, what's the deal?

Doesnt seem to have any rhyme or reason. Just randomly screen goes black. Can hear everything and move but cant see anything. Exiting out of the game and reconnecting fixes it. Been happening for a long time.

Personally, I haven’t encountered anyone hacking in any of my matches but the amount of posts about Hackers are pretty concerning in this subreddit. While legitimate players are being banned for 10 YEARS (No, I’m not saying everyone’s innocent) we have these hackers running around unchecked. Why do we get kicked from almost every clan we join?

This has been going on for 2 weeks now. Me and my friend are joining open clans. We finish all the task get around 100+ points in 3-4h and still get kicked while others have 12 points daily and remain in the clan. Like as soon as we go offline and go back 2h later we are kicked. Keeps happening when joining a new clan... Like are we doing something wrong? We just wanna contribute as much as possible and claim the clan crates by the end of the week (or season if we make it there atleast).

[Discussion] A list of 400 names used by bots on cod mobile global

So, I took my time to go practice against ai a bunch of times and get all the names of the bots. The same bots appear in any multiplayer and battle royale modes too.

No duplicates, none of these are players, and I may had messed up a bit with the O's and 0's.

Why? I guess I don't hate bots, most matches are not filled with players for a reason so they are ok I guess. My only problem is that having bots and not knowing who is a bot makes me anxious, stressed out, and judgemental. I can't elaborate on it because I did try and I just go on a tangent.

If you can find an use to this data, there it is. (I don't know what tag should this have, is this a leak? I don't consider it a leak, I literally just played against AI and took note of all these names)

Suggestion about paid crates ( weapon and soldiers)

It would be so cool if they added a crate which includes epic skin then .. they add them to the CP store after a month or even two I don't mind .. but give a chance for people who want to pay but absolutely don't want to gamble .. CP store is literally fucking garbage rn idk why they treating it like that .. they could use it to add some old epic and even legendary skins ( from crates) for some responsible price .. I wouldn't mind paying 20-50$ for a skin but definitely better than the crap crates.. and hope they fix the prices as well it can't be 1000+cp for a rare skin .. they just need to fix it and use it right .. that's all
For example : battery torque in crates for a limted time

Once it's gone from crates store go add it in the CP store for another limited time .. but we can directly purchase it .. it doesn't seem so hard idk why they making it so hard on everyone tho ;(

Mic issue

Is anyone experiencing this issue with the mics where you can only hear 1 other teammate in game and that 1 teammate can only hear you and the rest of your teammates can't hear either one of you? It's like the game pairs only 2 people per game to communicate and it's frustrating man. Usually all I had to do to solve this problem is restart the app mid game and it works like normal again but for the past 2 days restarting the app just doesn't work anymore. I know I don't need a mic to play but I mainly play br and I'm master and honestly I'm kinda bored with br but I still get on everyday and play the shit out of it specifically because I love chatting with my friends I play with everyday. I know there's also discord but the problem is getting my friends to use it This shit is annoying as hell and I'm hoping they can fix this very soon.

Do you have any good strategies to grind for money/credits?

This is obviously because of the shards that are for sale atm.

AFAIK, the only way to actually get money without using the in-game rewards (that are limited) is to watch those ads that only give you 25 credits a pop, and take around 5 minutes to restart... and you're limited on how many ads you can watch per day, I think.

Can you get credits in any other way in CoD Mobile?

Tactical grenade need a buff

Right now most player in CODM use Trophy system, as other Tactical are mostly unreliable except maybe smoke grenade. My suggestion is to greatly reduce time to ignite of all the Tactical ( Flashbang, Emp and Concussion) to make them more reliable and fun to use. As for now, the time to ignite for all of them is same as the normal grenade, but you can't cook them to make them worth to use.
