Zombies grinding tips

(skip to paragraph 3 if you don't want the introduction) Since zombies are getting removed from the game many people have now started to grind zombies a lot of lot more, and as I have already gotten all three rewards I wanted to make a post to help people out. But even before we start You need to ask yourself this question whether your ready for the grind or not, whether your ready to put in 40-60 of the everyday in order to get what you want if you can't put in this much effort than unfortunately, this isn't what you should be grinding for.

First of all, if you haven't played zombies since the start of season3 a lot has changed, now you get 10 shards instead of 3, and you the recieve limit is only one game, so its significantly easier now. Play both game modes if you want to get your items as fast as possible.

Make sure to always play hardcore by filling the squad and the complete opposite for survival as teammates just make it harder for you and you don't really need them in this game mode. In survival, if you want the lava axe you have to make sure you have three revive token, meaning you don't die the entire game. As such you need 1 for Tank and 0 for the pistol. However, the rewards are random in hardcore so there is no way to manipulate your rewards.

The ray gun is must in hardcore and optional in survival, however, in both gamemodes you need all the cola buffs, even the ones in the basement(the place where you unlock juboku). If you cant get the ray gun I would recommend combining an ak117 and any other gun for which you have an epic skin, like the type-25 geometry or ak47 tank. Time does not affect your rewards, and neither do the bosses (hardcore only). Stay in the top floor until round 4 trying to build up as many planks as you can at the windows, and at round 5 go down.

I had the opportunity to play against (and with) HBR

It is undoubtedly one of the best weapons in the game, low recoil and has good damage, its shooting speed is normal, it is not so fast or so slow.

Obviously it is not a P2W weapon precisely because there are weapons like the Type and Ak117 that hit head on, but if they didn't exist it would have everything to be the first P2W. I hope it arrives soon to the F2P community

Regarding zombies

Zombie mode should be a part of the M like it was before it got replace by an useless shortcut for ranked that nobody even use ..
The M will have:
1: zombie
2: mp
3: br
Like it was when zombie first came out

They shouldn't really give up on zombie cause a lot of people will give up the entire game for that
And bring zombie like it was on World at War, Black Ops ...

Zombie got a lot of potential, we could have ranks as we had on Black ops 2 (kind of ranks 😅)
If we have same zombies as before, all skins of punch weapon could maybe be farmable to mp and be (not zombie then cause it would be confusing to have the skin of punch weapon without it being punch)
Character skin of all the saga

Token for reviving in zombie is bullshit, bring it back as it was and increase the time that u can be down before someone revive so we have the feeling to be able to lose
Because right now for me the only way we can lose in zombie is when u leave the game or crash ..

Anyway to make it simple bring back zombie like it was on old cod and a lot more people will play cod mobile and buy your Lucky draws

I'm not able to purchase Cod Points. Edit: This issue seems to be more problematic than I would'ev assumed at first (Please help)

After loading for a second or two, the message "The item you requested is not available for purchase" followed by another smaller pop up saying "purchase cancelled.(0)"

Im an android user, Samsung A50

Is there a work around for this issue?

Major Edit : Wow this turned into a huge mess. So apparently the game isn't even available in my country anymore (Malaysia), which most likely is the cause of my not being able to purchase the credits. I can't find the game anymore within the appstore :/

That being said...what am I suppose to? I have heard of a version of the game, supposedly from the Garena server? From what I understand, apparently the Garena version are for the asian countries and the Global version is for anywhere else?

So what I assume is that my country only is supported by the Garena version and I wasn't even suppose to get my hands on the Global version. That being said, how and where do I download the Garena version of the game? Also, am I still able to keep my progression??

Wow this is quite a mess im in.

Kinda new player - Have a question about the Battle Pass

Okay so first of all, I just want to state that I have played this game on and off since it's release on mobile. Never bought the Battle Pass because I'm too busy with other games. Though I do have more free time as of late, so I want to get started on the Battle pass seeing as the new Season just started.

  1. I noticed looking at the Battle Pass rewards that it gives only exact number of COD Points to purchase the next Season Battle Pass (If you save them of course). Has it always been like this? Or have there been times where some Seasons Battle Pass has rewarded extra?
  2. Is it possible to Tier up to level 50 by just Daily & Weekly Missions alone on the Battle Pass? Or are the Multi Player ones all required as well to get it to level 50 before the Season ends? I'm not sure if I honestly will play enough to kill 3,000 enemies, but I'll try.

I think that's all I have to ask about it, though if anybody has any suggestions feel free to drop them as a reply. I'd appreciate it.

Got locked out of both of my accounts today

I legit don't know what happened. I was about to do zombie mode but suddenly lost connection. I closed the game, reopened the game and was signed out. Tried to sign back in but it keeps telling me I'm entering the wrong info. So I thought maybe I just forgot my password. so I reset it but it's still saying the same thing. I really don't want to start all over again as I'm almost at lvl 100. What can I do?

Announcer Voice - Battle Royale

Can we have an option to mute the announcer in Battle Royale?

I've been seeing posts and memes about the inaccuracies and overall noise of the announcer in MP modes such as Domination and Hardpoint. BR is similar. At this point, I receive the visual notifications that the zone is closing in and I don't need his blasting reminders. The announcer cutting in makes it very hard to hear teammates who are mic'ed up.

Missing shots

WHY THE FUCK HALF MY SHOTS DON'T REGISTER? Luckily 90% of those who play sniper challenge are worthless snipers or bots so I win most of the fights, but it's extremely frustrating shooting at someone bullseye and the "missing". I say "missing" because without neither moving the next shot hits perfectly. Lost 3 matches this way: get shot first, heal up, shoot 3 times dead center, only one shot hits and getting killed by the guy waiting. It's unacceptable, if your servers can't take the load just lower the numbers of players, it's not fucking possible that in a mode where you can one-shot people projectiles aren't properly managed.

The confusion about what season this is

It's weird how all these people keep saying those who think this is season 4 is stupid, even though nowhere in the community update did they say that, they said they are moving away from numbering their seasons and are going to name them instead...on top, the in-game loading screen shows 'new' season, new characters. So either the community team and devs should learn how to communicate what's happening or this really is a new season and you people need to shut the fuck up.

Why is everyone in my team in ranked always REALLY bad??

I'm elite 5 atm and everytime I play a TDM I always carry (always score 2 or 3 times the score of the 2nd in my team) so I dont care. But in other modes, especially SD, where everyone has to be decent, I lose everytime.
I am fucking tired of being dragged down by idiots. I wonder when we will be able to select which game mode we want in ranked too.

Remove the red shoulder lights

Hey devs please remove the red shoulder lights from the game at least in SnD make it like the original cod games
Its very annoying when even though you’re walking through a dark alley with very little visibility and a sniper sees the red and shoots

It will make sneak attacks possible too and maybe add a new flavour to the very stale game

And please bring more camouflage skins like the Green prophet one

My thoughts on the game
  1. Out of every 10 matches I play, 9 of them I get stuck in the teleporting glitch.
  2. I left a match because of the glitches, it penalized me because of it, which put me in the infinite "connect to game" in the menu.
  3. War machine glitched to all hell. It either blows up in my hands, ends the game halfway early, or does 0 damage.
  4. Me and enemy has same gun, they survive a whole mag, but I die in 1 hit.
  5. Half of my kills only give assist points, even in FFA.
  6. Almost every time I get last kill, it doesn't show.
  7. Every match lasts no longer than a full minute.
  8. Every single drop only gives 20-30 credits, never any of the overpowered guns.
  9. BR doesn't work at all because of the teleporting glitch.
  10. I got to tier 20, then it went right back to 2.
  11. Nacht Der Untoten and the original zombies maps don't show up on the list.

When will they ever fix these bugs.

iPad or android?

Is there a difference in performance between an iPad and an android tablet? I have a GALAXY TAB A 10.1 w 3GB of RAM, Getting about as good a wifi signal as you can have. Graphics are on low and no FX are active, but still getting lockups. If an iPad will have better performance, I would switch. Has anyone noticed a difference between the two?

For people who love sniping

I know many of you love sniping as much as I do but also feel that sniping is not upto the level of what it has been on pc/console version of COD titles.
There's a minor issue that I don't know how many of have noticed but since season 2 codm made it possible to shoot guns while opening the ads but for snipers if you have release to shoot setting enabled, it does not shoot any bullet till the scope fully opens. Which makes dark scoping hard for people with this setting enabled.
For most of you this might not be a huge deal but it is for me. I'm playing at legendary and I'm comfortable with release to shoot setting more as then I have one finger to jump also while sliding.
This isn't something that requires a long time to fix but I thought this issue should be addressed.
(This is more noticible when you 1v1 someone)

Question for the Whales!

So I’ve always been fascinated by the whales in free to play games. I have a couple of questions for y’all and hopefully y’all can answer with full transparency.

This post is not me coming at y’all AT ALL. I truly value how people spend their own money that they have worked for. But it just interest me so much how somebody can enjoy a game so much they be willing to spend thousands and thousands on the game.

Also I see a lot of people say that whales are ONLY the people that spend 1k and up frequently. This is not true. Whales can also be people that just spend money on the game frequently.

Example: 50 bucks per week

Not a lot but it does add up and Activision and other companies def consider that to be their whales.

So if anybody fits those craftier then I am mainly talking to you!

1: What about CODM makes you want to keep spending more?

2: Is this money on the side or just spontaneously spending?

3: What makes you want to keep going at something that the game has not yet given to you?

4: Do ever realize how much you are spending (cumulatively and currently)

AGAIN... I am GENUINELY interested lol please don’t take this post as me tryna expose or come at you. Just very curious and would love to know some insight!

I've been playing this game since november. First 2 seasons was so smooth. By the start of s3 i started to experience lag and its only growing. I saw 199 ms last game 5 mins ago. And when its normal like 60-80 lags kick in. Most of the time ms is above 100. I like to play this game but i cant in this conditions. I need your helps guys. If i unistall and install back the game would it matter? Any help appreciated.

CODM is dying. Here is why 👇

Greetings everyone,

Season 4 has launched with many leaks around it, including zombies new map, BR new map, different 'interesting' skins, and most importantly, releasing the weapons that you can only get through crates.

CODM decided to delete zombies (which is why many players love COD), decided to give a bad credit store update with shit skins that are blue and green rarity that are not even appealing, and decided to deliver a very average battle pass.

In my case, I'm almost legendary in multiplayer and master II in BR, and I feel like I've got what I needed to get and the game is now useless.

Literally, there is NOTHING that drives me to play enjoy the game anymore. Where is the new zombies map? Where is the new BR map? Prestige system? Better matchmaking system? Releasing P2W weapons?

The future is still unknown. All the leaks that are coming are either getting deleted from the game or scheduled for later. I feel like this season I wont even bother to play, many feel the same.

I feel like the game needs a new huge update (i've been a player since the beta days, almost 9 months now of playing), and the game hasn't changed much.

It's like CODM just focus on releasing new crates to fill up their pockets, for **** sake, listen to the community!

I'll give few ideas:

  1. Release new BR and Zombies map.
  2. Release crate weapons without skins in credit store.
  3. Update the credit store for at least 1 epic weapon per season.
  4. Increase the amount of tournaments per season to 3 or more
  5. Do a new daily log in system for 60 consecutive log in you get for example an epic weapon
  6. Prestige system for players with maxed accounts since months.
  7. Weapons system for all camos and skins that are LITERALLY useless. I've got 10 skins for XPR and bunch of shit stuff. Make these skins exchangable for credits or a higher rarity skin.
  8. Improve clans, maybe introduce clan wars?
  9. Add lean option in BR and Multiplayer.
  10. Improve killcam
  11. Decrease points of reduction in BR rank.

The Zombies mode that people will come back to.

Maybe this post won't get that much attention but I'm extremely let down that Zombies is leaving COD Mobile. I know the COD CO-OP has always been kind of a niche extra for the franchise but it had the potential for player retention if they hadn't launched with such a small and repetitive map. Had they started with instead of teased Tranzit, I guarantee a lot more people would be playing right now. I've never really been a fan of survival and actually really like the Raid mode. I thought the Boss fight was a satisfying way to deliver actual victories to the CO-OP in COD rather than forcing your team to inevitably lose every match but again, a very repetitive map to do it on. I watched that poor Hell puppy die so many times! :(

Buried, Mob of the Dead, Origins and Der Riese. So many better choices they could have given us and could still give us. I'd love to see zombies come back with more raid or campaign-style co-op on one of these maps. I hope the community feels the same and wish that whoever is making decisions listens to the feedback.

The Fall of Zombies

So as everyone knows they are to remove zombies. I don't see the reason why they are choosing to when granted it's not the best but it is okay. In general one map gets crazy boring and to expect people to play the same map is incompetent. Also if nobody noticed they changed how zombies behave so now they only aggro on a specific person unless said person goes down. Never before has it been like that. Although I haven't played the past couple Call of Duties. On top of that they are trying selling us wonder weapons when really they're useless junk and yet again never has been like that.

All in all it was a meh experience and choosing to use the first zombies maps in my opinion was not the best choice. The best maps out of the bunch is Verruckt and Der Reise. The other two while classic aren't the best. It's just they have a decent collection of maps to choose from is what I'm getting at. Now they are removing zombies which I'd assume it's because less people are playing it but at the same time what did they expect.

Now I wish they would keep zombies and release more maps but as of rite now it seems they are failing to see what they are doing wrong. Clearly the community cares but will it stay. We'll have to wait and see.

Voice Server Connection Timed Out?

If you are a decent player what skill do you use, what’s your main strat, where do you normally land, and which mode do you play? Just wondering I am a good BR player and I use trickster, try and snipe most the time, and I play duos. I don’t want to say where I land because it’s really good for my play style. Also, I recently decided to push to master 2 and I’m at Pro 4 almost there.

Keep Zombies

Zombies is good it just needs some changes. You shouldn’t remove it just because it’s not desired. If you updated it more and made it more like able maybe people would actually want to play zombies instead of just playing for gun skins. Also, once you have a weapon you shouldn’t have it still have a chance to get it from the mystery box and shouldn’t be able to get more shards for a gun you already have crafted, and you should make more craft-able items so people stay around longer and grind zombies more. I know that you put nacht onto garena along with a new character skin and weapon skins so why don’t you give it to global too isn’t it only fair that we get one last thing to remember zombies by and everyone can unlock it? You could also put it in the credit store since I know people are mad about there only being 5 new items in the item shop. If you decide to rework zombies you should also have some of the battle pass challenges for zombies too and make some of the challenges for skins and host events for zombies also. Someone please tell me the easiest way to match with easy teams on ranked

I keep getting matched with whole damn legendary clans and I’m master 4. I just wanna hit legendary but I keep winning 1 and losing 1 I can’t make any progress

I normally play with a full squad of people who are all decent, but our teammates are all on a competitive level. Sometimes I notice they’re much easier and not in a clan together. Is there a way to team against them more?

Is it better to play solo or with your friend or with a whole squad? Do people on 5 person teams only get teamed with other 5 person teams like in mobile legends I know 2 people is ideal to play because of that. Anyone know the algorithm details here? Thanks

What are we looking forward to now?

Looking at cod mobile now it’s been pretty slow. The last thing I was hype about this game was season 4 but even that was going downhill when it comes to new content. They added the battle pass sure, but nothing really new. Reviewing last season we got zombies, now they are going to remove it and are “focusing more on multiplayer?” This sucks we only got 3 “new” skins in the credit store, zombies is getting deleted, they are recycling skins that were since season 1 and putting them into recent crates. I don’t know man, this is my opinion to what is going on in this game.

Black Screens and Crashes

Has anyone noticed that the black screens are worse now than before the recent update?

I used to only have issues once every 5 or so games -still too often- and now I can barely have one BR match without one (even crashed and blackscreened 4x in a single game).

I used to be fine in MP mode and now I'm getting blackscreened roughly every 5 games, which sets back any ranked progress I make.

I've cleared my cache, restarted my phone, tried minimizing the amount if apps running in the background, etc. I wouldn't think a relatively new and higher end phone (galaxy note 9) should have issues if phones going on 6 years old can run the game fine.

It's starting to get ridiculous that things that severely negatively impact players' experiences such as these aren't addressed.

So this guy makes great content for learning game mechanics weapon stats and pretty much everything like that. I’ve been playing battle Royale a lot more and it seems like a lot of you tubers have too. I would like to know how the different tiers of attachments affect the game. Need tips using the Ak117. I hate this gun. It has horrible accuracy, slow ads and the clip goes to fast. I hate the horizontal recoil. Yes it has damage but that’s it. How is this the best gun in the game?

I really want to master this weapon because I got the Soap version. I am used to low recoil guns like the m4 which I’m a f*cking surgeon with.

Dead silence is not doing jack shit for me

Judging from killcams, it’s obvious that people can still hear me coming. At first, I thought they might’ve just had a UAV, or the “Alert” perk, but nobody uses that perk. So I thought it was probably a UAV, so I started running ghost instead of toughness or scavenger. Even after that, it was clear that enemies could still hear me coming, which is bugging me because the perk is not doing what it says it should be doing, and I’m just wasting a perk space. Is this happening to anybody else, or is dead silence not supposed to make you completely silent?

Cage Featured Map

Does anyone else play the Cage Featured Map and experience 7 sniper battles out of 10 matches? It gets incredibly frustrating and sucky, especially since the Snipers have an Acog scope, it sucks. A lot. I’ve only gotten 3 death matches out of 10 matches played.

Is this supposed to be how it is????? A small map like that would be incredibly fun if we could use anything we wanted, but no, 7 out of 10matches are Sniper battles.

Please leave a reply if you experience the same thing too... Sniper battles with Acog scopes are just bs

Does anyone get games that are running extremely fast?

I noticed every blue moon the game will run really quickly, almost like a community server turned on a speed switch. The game is still somewhat playable but slightly harder because enemies will zip through the map like roaches when the lights turn on. ESPECIALLY in Free For All and at low ping latency. Am I the only one?

Would a party mode chat be possible, down the line? How far away, would we wager?

Our phones already have microphones/speakers, not to mention most headphones nowadays; but is it too much to ask of a mobile game to allow you to speak with your friends while running a game of this level?

I’m not incredibly tech savvy so genuinely asking. I’d kill to play CoDZombies with my friends again, but being able to talk during is a massive part of that. If this is already available somewhere and I missed it, let me know!

Game has got boring for me.

First of all, I am not complaining or trying to start a petition or anything. I am just stating what I feel.

I am Legendary on both MP & BR and have 110M+ damage in zombies. So yes, I have played every game mode there is in the game.

Idk Season 3 has been quite underwhelming for me. The game fails to standout from other mobile games of its genre. It feels like someone took freefire, pubg and fortnite and made them a single game. It doesn't feels like a COD title anymore. Weapon balancing is really trash. No one goes further than Ak117, Type 24, Msmc, S36 in ranked; In BR it's M4, Ak117, Ak47, Arctic and sometimes M21EBR. Every decent new weapon goes behind paywall first. And even then you can't use them in BR or zombies? Why the hell is it like that?

BR has to be the most boring game mode I have ever played. No one plays it. Map design is decent but the loot spawn makes it horrible. There are way too many hills to camp on, and the guns to counter them are terribly low. Give us a new map or more weapons in BR. Every single event there has been in BR was trash. We need something really big to happen there and that too quick.

MP game modes are not good enough. We deserve better than one shot one kill or gun game or snipers only. Prop hunt has to be the most glitched one out there. There are literally dozens of interesting game modes in COD history to choose from. Do some research before giving us out the game modes.

Emotes, different characters having different personalities and voiceovers makes the game more interesting. Why aren't we there yet?

Make the sense of progression better. Give us the prestige system. What do you guys think?

Rankeds are bullshit. Some guns and their options too.

Trying to get AK Tank is a pain in the ass. How am I even supposed to grind Master 2 when only gamemodes I get are SnD and Domintation. There should be option to choose gamemode, random is just crap.

Not to mention that rankeds are full of S36 noobs, ACOG snipers, braindead War Machine operators, Trip Mine hellhole on many ocassions. Try getting S36 loser while playing AK117, Chicom or just any other weapon that is not as broken as that LMG is. Not nerfing something because pros don't play it? So because of that we have to face this bullshit that won't stop?

ACOG snipers? Why on earth does that exist? If you want to use sniper rifle then it should be used as goddamn sniper rifle, not hybrid between AR and sniper (Arctic .50 is perfect example for that - it's like FAL or SMR, not quite but you get the idea). At least increase weapon draw time when ACOG is equipped or add actual sway like it is in "normal" CoD games.

IMO we really need to be able to choose gamemode we want to play. Saying, that some gamemodes will be desserted is pointless. It shows that people don't enjoy playing them. When playing ranked I forget that we have gamemodes like TDM or Hardpoint, all I get is Domination and SnD over and over again. Trying to get Master 2 is so unnecesarily hard that it's just annoying.

Issues playing with low latency

Lag compensation is absolutely blatant at this point in terms of playing on a low latency connection, there's horrendous desynchronization issues that are not being addressed by the developers, and it's completely rendered battle royale unplayable when there's multiple people with high latency from around the world using VPNs, etc. Problems with hit detection, hit boxes, people rubber banding, teleporting are more apparent when playing on a fiber optic connection with low latency as opposed to playing on mobile data or a hotspot with fluctuating ping. Netcoding is off, one poor connection will throw off everyone else's connection to the server in any specific match, address this issue instead of adding irrelevant junk into the game. And a big fuck you for removing zombies mode in a few weeks. Downvote this post this problem can continue.

I feel like all the negative energy from the community should really give them an idea of how far they drifted from the good guys to the bad guys. In our eyes (the player) it seems like the decisions you guys make are just foolish. I love zombies but it’s not enjoyable when there is only one map. I love ranked but it’s not fun when the team matchmaking is bad. I love giving you my money for a skin i’m passionate about but not when it’s a draw based on luck. I love battle royal but it’s not good when.. we’ll actually i hate battle royal, would much prefer zombies over it. The point is, You guys are making yourselves the enemy. There’s so many little things you can do to improve the game. If you want longevity for the game, the players have to come first.

Where is the real update?

Let me explain, we received an update and in the patch notes the additions were listed, but where are the bugs fixed? The nerf? The buff? The problems that have been fixed?

The next update is only to reset ranges or will it bring something else?

PS: The ranges should be restarted the same day another battle pass is added or a few days later, not weeks later, that reduces all the emotion and makes things even more confusing.

Sometimes it’s me and a friend (that’s all) yet we are still matched with full squads

Thoughts on hardpoint?

I find it somewhat silly for ranked, considering the objective flips and often times gives the losing team the objective. It’s quiet easy for the losing team to hold it with hive, war machine, trophy sys, etc. I’ve had a few games where the losing team is getting slayed, but they will have a considerable amount of points. I’m sure I’ll adapt, but what are your guys thoughts?

Hold & release fire option for shotguns

Could we have the option to enable hold & release on shotguns when in hip fire shooting mode for advanced mode (to clarify, the gun will not fire until you let go of the primary fire button once tapping it, identical to snipers in 1-tap ads mode)

Using shotguns that fire from the hip instead of ads'ing as a thumbs player is not an easy feat at least for me personally (I'm not denying it's possible)

How does matchmaking in BR work?

As someone who mainly plays ranked MP, I decided to try out solo BR and in some matches I noticed that some players were using what seemed to be the Merc Yellow Snake skin. Isn't that the Master 2 reward? I'm currently ranking up through veteran so were my eyes deceiving me or do you actually play with higher ranked players regardless of your current rank? RANT: Broken BS Matchmaking etc.

Wait for a match, or instantly get dropped in mid-game where someone has clearly quit out due to getting ruined by the enemy.

Already down, spawn in front of an enemy with lag, instant death. Then they get VTOL because they've been farming bots.

Get matched with 4 bots on my team vs. 2 real players with 3 bots on their team. Essentially 1 vs. 2... Game should match solo vs. solo, pair vs. pair, 3 vs. 3 etc.

Lying prone, can see but not hit target. Bad physics. e.g. Nuketown/Crossfire flag B on domination, lying on the floor can't hit enemies.

Can't push zombies away, get stuck.

How many bullets does it take to kill a tank bot? Not everybody uses war machine.

SUGGESTION: How about allowing scorestreak point spending, i.e. all scorestreaks are available, you choose the one you have enough points for, to suit the situation. Much more dynamic gameplay.

SUGGESTION: BR should be able to specify loot preference. Stop equipping silencers automatically, but please pick up my favourite weapons. A list in order of preference would be nice, with the option to set what is and isn't auto looted.

Not recieving ranked rewards

I was ranking up just to get the Locus-Yellow Snake sniper rifle, so I didn't check when I got the prizes of previous ranks, they all got the green tick at the top right corner, so I assumed I recieved them.

But now that I'm Pro II I should have gotten the rifle, which I didn't, even though it's ticked. After checking I notice also that I didn't get the rocket launcher, or the grenade, or the knife from previous levels, I'm assuming that neither the XP cards, they're all ticked, what can I do?

COD progress without IAP's

Comparing PUBG mobile, Creative Destruction, and Cyber hunter with COD-M, I realized you don't have to pay for anything unless you need to have fancy stuff to stand out. My brother progressed so fast without paying anything. He is on level 100+ now. I borrow his phone to play sometimes. Couple of times I came across dudes with shiny guns and skins, a similar scenario in other games would have ended up with me getting killed with a single shot. But COD-M surprised me a lot. I smoked people no matter what they had. But I thought it was because of his level. Then I installed it and checked out how it works for a fresher. I smoked em anyway. But I did experience some setbacks mostly server lags, and a few perks from shiny guns. Real question is I'm starting to see changes. I feel like the loot boxes are starting to make some impact. Just very minor ones. What I'm concerned about is what if COD-M ends up like PUBG or other games where you have the advantage of being a cash player. I mean we all know about tencent. Will we lose the only mainstream game that is not a pay to win?

Advice for the people who want to grind for Ak-47 Tank.

I went from Pro 2 to master 2 in 3 hours. And here's what I learned.

  1. If you are losing a match, don't rage quit, try to be the mvp as being the mvp doesn't make you lose as much points as thought. If you quit, you'll be losing 30 points but if you be the mvp on the losing team, you'll lose 15-20 points maximum.

  2. Try to take it easy. Aim for 1 rank in 1 day. Then you'll get it without risk. For my case it helped a lot that I was playing at night and didn't get any good players.

  3. If you get a losing streak, don't lose hope, as there are always some bots in ranked.

  4. All the best, you'll get that skin with effort. This was my first post like this. Sorry for any mistakes as I was using a phone.

Zombies failed for these 2 reasons

1.- The new perk system that replaced the pack a punch sucked and most people didn't get it

I don't mean the perk sodas but that shopping store at the center.

If you bought all damage buffs the game become s super easy to the point the mystery box was inferior to just using an ak117 to shoot zombies. This made the mystery box/wonder weapons useless and objectively, inferior

However, most people didn't even know about this so without those perks those zombies were damage sponges and it was nigh impossible to kill them. So you got people frustrated because they wasted money in the mystery box only to get weapons that did no damage .

2.- It was a huge chore to grind the rewards.

Tencent tried to hook people and make them play it daily. What actually happened is that people just played for the tank skin and it became a huge pain in the ass that just made people hate the mode as it was a huge time sink with a cruel RNG.

By the time they tried to fix it, it was too late. People were already sick of being forced to play 6 matches of 20 minutes each daily instead of doing well once and survive as much as possible. People prefer their endurance being rewarded not the amount of matches they play.

Looking on the cod mobile reddit I see nothing positive I don’t hate this game I love it which is why I’m expressing my opinion there’s so much constructive criticism so here we go.

1 ) remove lucky draws & crates
I can’t express this enough GIVE PLAYERS WHAT THEY PAY FOR don’t make lil Timmy gamble for a skin when he only has a 1% chance to get that skin which will lead to him having to drop $10 to $100 just for a CHANCE at a character or gun skin. I’ll never understand how some of you try to justify this behavior

2 ) release paid guns like the man o war for F2P players along with the paid skin
This is a win for both the free players and the paid players don’t just make a gun exclusive to crates only then release the free version months later when it’s been nerfed.

3 ) increase level cap and add new maps to battle royale we have been at level 150 since the launch of the game it’s time to increase the level cap with new rewards..BR is also starting to get boring because we had the same damn map since launch

4 ) give players a reason to want to log in everyday to grind for something they want these events where you have to be at 5% to get the gun skin isn’t worth it anymore because they shown us that they will just release the skin in the credit shop instead of making it exclusive to the players THAT ACTUALLY WORKED FOR IT main example the S36 headless rider

5 ) guns need to be improved and balanced
Nobody uses the LK24 or the Chicom because they’re trash and Tencent has the nerve to release new skins for the weakest guns they also released so many new S36 skins even though the entire community has been asking for it to be nerfed

6 ) prestige system & weapon skins*
Every call of duty game has had it also locking dark matter behind a paywall was the dumbest decision ever make it to where you can grind for dark matter,gold camo and diamond camo don’t put them in stupid crates

7 ) improve the quality of the characters
Someone pointed out that the Seraph freak show looks 1000 times be...

P2P players should be the ones having a go at Devs instead of F2P

Have been playing for couple months now, was F2P until S3. Figured I'd put some money in since I played so much anyway. Got the S3 premium BP which automatically paid for my S4 one.

Some cool stuff in paying like new skins but overall nothing crazy. Only epic gun I got for paying really was the T25 geometry, got the medieval and tank from grinding/lucky crate.

With this new S4 update I find devs are making some nice additions like Cage map or new operator skills, but they have done nothing to really push the game forward and extend its longevity. Not a big zombies player myself but found it ludicrous they would "remove" it when there are people spent good money to get those wonder weapons.

If anything devs really need to listen more to P2P players who actually contribute to any form of revenues. A good start would be more dynamic and different character skins that differentiate from the free ones, while the weapon ones are alright but I think the way nicer weapons/skins are procured makes no sense. If they want people who are supporting the game to continue to support it they should make it more sensible when paying for these things instead of outright trying to gouge their customers. With regard to P2P players getting OP guns, I find that highly unconvincing. Guns may be slightly better than the free ones but otherwise they don't make you a better player. Its really just a skin.

Fact that devs even update credit shop and give some new things to F2P players is more than enough IMO.

What if you would be able to trade guns skins, grenade skins, br skins and even character skins with each other and they wouldn't both have always have to be the same rarity. It's unfair for people who thought they were getting an exclusive skin only to then have that same skin re-released. It takes away the entire rarity of the skin and it hurts other players.
No. I don't want another chance to get a rare skin other people have, and no, I don't want rare skins I have to go to people who not only didn't have to grind for (the Bk57 balloons for example that is now in a crate) or for free/paid for that matter. A nagging question.

So I was able to get the heart emote. Playing BR in 3rd person sometimes my right wrist leaves a pink streak as I sprint but sometimes it seems to just to not work? Idk which is the accident/bug.. The pink streak or the absence. Anyway, if this is intentional does this also show in multiplayer? I wouldn't be able to tell because multi is 1st person. Not a big deal, just a nagging question.

I'm a casual player which is why I love CoDm so much, so I kinda throw money at them because I don't do console, not since H2.

My current understanding:

• Activision have put a time limit on zombies mode, after which it will likely (read: seemingly) vanish for good
• Those who don't play zombies mode couldn't care less
• Those who play it are furious as fuck

My thoughts:

Like everything else that Activision does, I think they have a certain agenda/programme/script that they follow, whether it is in regards to adding something new, or removing something.

I have a feeling that they are experimenting, using our reactions as feedback to see what we really want. What better way to find out if the majority really care about a certain game mode than to threaten it's permanent removal. (Don't think I'm advocating for Activision's bullshit. I'm just trying to gauge a possible motive.)

If my hypothesis is correct, then the only reason they have put a time limit on zombies is to see if it is worth keeping at all. If enough people make a ruckus, they'll likely keep it as a permanent game mode. If there is not enough of an outcry, they might just do away with it for good.

I assume this is the same for every other part of the game, whether they are improving or removing. In S3, they fucked up - in my opinion - to a certain extent by reducing the battle pass tiers to 50 only. It may have been good for some people, but I feel like it may have inconvenienced a lot more. Again, with the new battle pass, they haven't relented as of yet. They have still kept it at 50. I think that they are using this time to gauge whether it is worth changing it back to 100 or not.

I'm sick of people complaining on this subreddit.

People complain about every little thing Tencent does, and it's so goddamn annoying. This subreddit is supposed to be here, so we can talk about the game, post some memes, and actually have fun, but all people do on here is complain incessantly. Earlier all of you were saying how bad zombies was, and how no one plays it, and now when Tencent is removing it, y'all all of a sudden start complaining as if it were your favorite gamemode. This game is one of the best mobile games out there, it has no ads, and lets you get pretty much every type of gun easily. You only have to buy a 5$ battle pass one time, and then you never have to pay for it again, not to mention that they gave people who bought it 2 epic weapons, and a chance to win 2 more, and even gave free to play players a chance to win 2 more. I do agree that they should put in direct purchases to get the skin you want, but it's just a skin that won't ever help you in game. I can't see why people can't just enjoy this game. I don't think that anything Tencent does will ever make this community happy.

Surviving Mechanic Class in BR

Heyo! For those of you who don't know, the active skill for the Mechanic Class calls in an EMP drone. It locks onto nearby enemies and flies over their head. It releases an EMP pulse that screws with their audio, minimap, etc.

It also prevents them from aiming, which is an almost certain killer in most situations.

How do you all survive it?

If I get lucky, meaning I'm near cover, the enemy player is far enough away, the enemy player has bad aim, the enemy player is firing at other targets, etc., then I can often survive. If I see the drone coming from a distance, I can sometimes kill the other player before I lose aiming--or get them close enough to death that they back off/I have time to get to cover or heal.

But if I'm close when trigger their drone, I've found it an automatic death sentence. There's nothing I can do besides hope their aim is absolutely shit. Without the ability to shoot back (hip fire shooting is a joke and does basically no damage; certainly not enough to kill in one clip or win an engagement), is there any strategies you all have for surviving a Mechanic Class encounter?

So what's the deal with 20k credit items in the credit shop? Why aren't any being added?

When the Battle Pass update dropped for Phantom, I expected them to add a new 20k credit gun to the credit shop like they did for previous seasons.

No 20k purple gun got added, and then with the Soap battle pass STILL no 20k purple gun has been added.

It doesn't even have to be a new one, I'd be fine with getting a purple old one to grind towards, but nothing at all?

I LOVE the Zombies mode! I think that it is a worthy addition and a great step in the right direction for CoD Mobile! I think removing it is one of the biggest mistakes ever. I know that:
A. You can’t really monetize it
B. There were some bugs in Shi No Numa
But we loved it anyways! The grind for rewards, although long, was satisfying! I have the revolver, and I am ridiculously close to Dempsey and the Axe. I was really looking forward to Nacht Der Untoten, and I am pretty freakin angry about it leaving! I love CoD Mobile, but this Season has not been very good! From the disappointing Battle Pass(although I love Soap), lack of a good Credit Store Update, to this?!?! Please don’t remove Zombies! Upvote this discussion if you agree!

The matchmaking...got FINALLY fixed !

Did you notice that games on ranked are way more harder now ? It’s been the case since the recent update,now if you’r legendary and go play solo queue you will get matched against and with legendaries.

If you have 10k pts,then your ennemies will be about the same level,all my friends noticed that ranked got way way more sweaty these days and tbh we love that ! Now give us more ranks Tencent !

Also,we definitely need more loadouts,5 are just not enough.

So first of all, read the entire thing to draw conclusions: title can be misleading.

I used to have tripmines for a long time but most people have the Hard Wired perk on, so I switched to frags.

There's always the ONE teammate who doesn't have that activated, and it's fucking annoying

What always happens that said teammate triggers the tripmine and takes you away with it, because as you know, Hard Wired only makes you not trip the mines, but you can still be killed with an explosion

Another fucked up thing that happened to me in SnD was that this aashole (I have no idea how be reached Master; he played so bad in 2 matches), triggered the mine and ran away, and I died alone!
It's too unfortunate that there's no friendly fire in this game tho

How to fix the cluttered weapon delection screen

Now that Season 4 is in full swing, we've gotten more and more new weapon skins. Anyone that has been playing for a while now has definitely noticed how cluttered the weapon selection screen is now with 4 season of weapons. Now I know I'm not the first to talk about this, but it is starting to become a serious issue.

There is a relatively easy way to fix this: stop counting skins as new weapons. I think it's ridiculous that I have a dozen skins for the LK24 and have to level them up just to use them appropriately, when I only will use 1 skin (typically the highest tier one). Why should I have to level up that Hearts camo when I only use the LNY for my PDW? It makes 0 sense.

The easiest way to fix the cluttered screens (and solve my frustration of leveling shitty guns) is to use the UI of ACTUAL COD games: where ypu level up 1 gun, and then attach any camo on it as an added bonus. It simple, it's been done in LITERALLY EVERY OTHER COD GAME, so please do it the old school way, devs.

Did the ICR get buffed or something? I’ve had it since it was released but didn’t use it because it felt kinda slow. I’ve been using it yesterday and today though and it feels better; Fire rate, TTK, DPS, and aiming time all seemed better yesterday before I even put attachments on the gun. Today after putting attachments on it felt almost s36 like to me very smooth.

Option to disable the strafe while ADS deadzone?

It feels kinda off for me, coming from something like QIII4A where imput is analog and there is no deadzone for movement imput while zoomed in or such, I can move in that game pretty freely, bunnyhop, and generally do Quake shit while having the disadvantage of using a touchscreen. But in CODM there's this deadzone for strafing while ADS that does not allow for good jiggle peeking while ADS making small adjustments using movement while ADS feel late. Is there any setting that will solve this or at least lessen it?

I played pubgm tonight for the first time in 45 days. After being bored on codm br and tired of the crap matching in mp I decided to try pubg again. I have to say the game ran 1000% smoother than codm. The graphics are better, the movement is better. The aiming is better. Heck even the bots are better. I have decided that until I hear and see better from codm I'm just going to play pubg. It's just a better game. And I'm not the only one who sees this. Codm has lost more than half of it's player base in the last month or so. It's because codm just sucks in comparison.

Getting error 18012 can't add friends

I have a friend litteraly sitting next to me and I can't add him as a friend. It says he doesn't exist. When he goes to add me, same results. Both apps are the same version. Both on Android. Is there a solution to this?

I have already searched extensively about this. I have never posted anything asking questions anywhere because I can almost always Google a solution. I have only come across two posts with similar problems but they can't add friends from a different country. I am sitting right next to the friend I'm trying to add. I can't find anything on errors regarding not being able to add friends in the same country, same WiFi, etc.

Taking zombies off of cod mobile seems like it can go either way, actually take it off & improve it or it’s a master marking plan.

Everyone talks about them not getting enough money off of zombies but I don’t think that’s actually why and I think it’s all a bluff to make people like you Campaign “Save zombies” because if you think about it as people who want to keep a game mode alive we need to share it which is free marketing

  • people are grinding out zombies as much as possible now so that they can get the prizes

  • if they decide to do A “We have decided to keep zombies open & release a new map due to popular demand” everyone will be hyped about them “saving” zombies

  • most people will be playing the new mode because they “saved zombies”

  • money people have spent on wonder weapons won’t go to waste

So what I’m saying is that it’s pretty much an amazing marketing plan to scare people into playing + campaigning (thus people playing more = more money)

I might have to delete the game if the devs wont make us f2p players get the chance to experience the true fun of the game being an f2p player in a "EA" (if u know what i mean)game is not fun tencent only cares about money and giving f2p players shit i guess farewell...

5 minute ban everday

The game keeps banning my account for 5 minutes every day for no reason at all iam an honest player and iam not doing anything that violates their enforcement policy
I have no idea why this is happening to me please can anyone help
