Add Left Fixed View Option

Something small but can be helpful for some players. COD Mobile already has a fixed veiw option for the right shoot button. But not the left. If that can be added it can help some players.

They should rather nerf mechanic or buff scout

Early on in a match sure you may have more than one people around you and scout can find them easily but the more you advance scout ability just become useless while mechanic suddenly becomes so powerful since he will know the exact location of an enemy nearby and will jam his radar! Like in the last 5 people in a match there is a 90% chance that a mechanic will win

Ironsights

Recently, I've been experimenting, testing out guns with no scopes attached and I feel like I performed better for the most part, even if I was used to using the red dot sight. I don't know what it is, maybe it just felt more 'natural'.

I also noticed that some people in the higher ranks does not equip scopes as well (I'm Master 1 btw).

Here are the guns that I used w/ ironsights only:

  • Ak117 (most comfortable w/ no scope for me)
  • S36
  • M4LMG (Black Gold)
  • Type 25 and RUS-79U (I occasionally switch with rds because I'm a little uncomfortable with their sights)
  • MSMC (This is a no brainer)

The Geometry camo of the Type 25 has a cool iron sight and I would def not equip any if I only have that camo Cries in f2p.

I don't get players who use other scopes other than rds tho, I personally found them heavy to the point that it basically makes quickdraw useless.

Any thoughts about this?

Ranked Matches Point System

I came up with a slightly modified method of points in for the Ranked gamemode in CODM. This was mainly due to the sheer number of teammates who abandon matches and leave their teams at a disadvantage.

For the victims : I came up with two solutions both similar in idea but variation in execution.
1.Depending on the number of teammates leaving, add +2 to the players' final rank score. For example if 1 teammate leaves and the team loses, every player loses 2 less points i.e. if one player would get -12 points for losing, he/she instead gets -10.

2.Depending where on the scoreboard the player lies, if the player is the MVP then he/she would lose 5 less point, the persons in 2nd and 3rd would lose 3 less and the 4th loses 2 less. In effect let's say everyone would get -10 to their rank points then the MVP gets -5, 2nd/3rd get -7, and 4th gets -8.

IMO the first option is better as it is much less likely to be abused in Tactical modes like S&D where someone would just run headfirst for kills. Also it must be said that these would only apply as long as the player isn't gaining point by this. As if a player would normally get -3 points, he doesn't end up with +2 but rather neither loses nor gains any points.

If people have suggestions, feel free to comment and hope somebody on the Dev Team also considers something similar and if so wouldn't be too difficult to implement. I have faith.

Possible to change perspective of TPP mode

So I'm going to be a little more specific, I'm not talking about changing from TPP to FPP.

I'm talking about when using TPP the pointer is offset to the right is it possible to make it offset to the left? Something similar to cover based shooters like the division or counter strike where you can switch whether the person holds the gun on the left side or right side, just a manual button I can press to switch it. I find it annoying trying to take cover on the left side of a wall and my character faces wrong direction, adds a little to the immersion.

Using secondary weapons while using a operator

You should be able to use a secondary when using an operator because sometimes when you need to run from one side of the map to the other when the spawn switches and you have your operator out,it's extremely slow and you can switch to grenades while running but most of the times you're out of grenades so they should change it

Suggestions to call of duty mobile please have a look.

The problem currently in codm is greedy and lack of events. I personally think that codm is boring once you finished the rank reward and battlepass. Thers is no motivation at all for me to play the game after that.The reward system is broken in this game.

  1. you can only get cp by giving real money and the case cost so much that most people can't afford it. Even if I purchase the price of 10 time cases it won't guarantee me to get the weapon or skin I want. There is no reason for me to purchase 50 dollar for nothing! The reward system shouldn't be like this.
  2. The events are boring asf! The rewards of the events doesn't surprise me every single time, because I know there won't be any good reward like character skin or new weapons. I understand that there aren't many epic skin in this game so you won't give player epic skin easily. I'm trying to say that game itself is awesome but the way you run the game is terrible, the game just turn boring at the middle of every season because I got nothing to do.
    The key to motivate player to continue to play is: give them a lot of things to do and give them rewards. Just keep player to stay busy, this is what gangstar vegas do best. sorry to compare gangstar vegas to this game, i really think they run gangstar vegas well especially for a very old game. They have so many events and great reward for those who take part of the event. Let's get back to codm. Why is the game so boring?
  3. slow updates. The f2p players haven't seen new guns for a long time. I can fully understand that epic skin must be hard to get but i want to criticize that we don't see new guns in blue or green quality. This make me feel angry because the only new gun I got was icr in credit store. Others are just skins or some irrelevant stuffs

Unpopular opinion: Lucky draws should stay (with some minor changes)

Yes they should. They are way better than the loot crate system in which there is no fucking guarantee that I will get everything even by spending thousand dollars.

And no they cannot release the free version of the gun with the paid version because then no one will go for that one extra spin costing 5000cp when they know they are going to get the gun anyways. I think what they should do is ban the dlc guns from ranked and make them available in zombies and maybe BR through the mystery boxes, until the free version of the gun comes out.

Also can we get better things in the lucky draws? Give us the skins for guns that people really use and would feel better spending there money or even better give us a skin that we can put on any one Ar/smgs/lmgs etc. like the draw contains one glacier skin for smg class and you can put it on any smg you like, this way people can put it on ay gun they like and if they want they can have another go at it for any other gun of that class. Add more interesting emotes to the game. And please scrap the crate system its worthless.

[Battle Royale] there are bunch of bots even on higher level

What I am constantly encountering in the Battle Royale games (even though I've been on higher level for 3 months now) and I still see those people, who when shot, throw smoke grenades under them and just stay there. At first I though it's just some noobs but it has repeated like 10 times now within 2 days of playing. So I am just assuming that like at least 50% of players in those 100 players group is bots.

Couldn't find any article on that, only that on lower levels you will get bots to get used to the game mechanics etc. but now it is kinda annoying, especially because the devs try to make a dumbo out of you for implementing the names like of a real people's.

People, you don't have to worry about the HBRa3 becoming the next S36.

The MSMC, type 25, ak117 and some other guns, too, can all beat the HBRa3 close range pretty easily if put in an evenly matched fight.

AK117 in season 2 and S36 in season 3 have/had very good range, plus fast fire rate, plus minimal recoil. HBRa3 has low recoil and fast fire rate, yet does not have good range at all.

But the main reason why the S36 is soooo stupid now is because it has a huge magazine. I've seen people literally hold and spray a corner because they knew I was there, and there is literally nothing I can do about it.

90% of the stuff I see posted here is memes (bad ones at that), screenshots and complaints. Am I the only one that wishes we had a subreddit for this shitty content and one for more serious stuff?

What’s more all the posts I imagine would actually help people learn how to play get very little attention while reposts and lame, boring content gets massive karma. Why? Does everybody really care that much that some dude is 200 points from master II?

Screen shakiness

Is anyone else's screen shaking when they try to aim? When I slide my finger horizontally, my screen doesn't move to the right or left smoothly. Theres a bit of up and down shake when I try to look around. Anyone else with this issue? Any fixes?

New system of matchmaking

New type of matchmaking where after every rank reset they do a system where each player plays 10 or something around that number of matches in a row and based on wins/losses n kd etc they assign u a rank, would help some of the playerbase who never play ranked and finally wanted to grind for a skin for example but instead of starting at rookie 1, after the 10 matches they start at a rank more suitable to their level. I had to start at rookie 1 to grind BR (since I never play it) for the skin, it's rather pointless fighting against other newbies n bots and it wudnt be fair on them(I'm Legendary on mp). If they had a system like this it wud put good players against good players and maybe balance out the playing field a bit.

Am I the only person that feels this way about gaining rank in BR?

I grinded for a couple days and got frustrated here and they're going back and forth to get master 2 in multiplayer and eventually got it and didn't think it was too bad after it was all said and done but now that I'm Pro 5 in Battle Royale last night I literally spent eight to 10 hours getting halfway through and then falling halfway back. Does anyone else feel like Battle Royale is harder 2 get master 2 because of chances of being gobbled 35 points within the first 2 minutes and then sometimes winning and getting like 12 to 25 points? Maybe I'm crazy or doing it wrong...

Are there any players that hack unlimited hp?

I apologise in advance for no video evidence as I don't normally record my gameplay.

I played a public match today and whenever I shot the opposition their health remained at 100. I only managed to hit one person but they still killed me off before I killed them. In the killcam, all it would show is me strafing left and right, it wouldn't show any of my shots.

CODM developers said if you want to make hardpoint Permanent play as much as you can and with friends..
Though am in support of.being hardpoint in ranked and also permanent..but...
It as of now being temporary i rarely once a day play it..because (1)itss not ranked (2)who even plays normal match if you have lvl150
hence, even though i like the mode i dont play it that much..I guess this problem must be with many others..How should we deal with this?

Battle Pass CP

Sorry if this is a bit of a stupid question, but I only just go the battle pass today (quite happy cause I got the geo Type 25 and the geo HG40) but I noticed that I received back exactly the amount of CP as I payed for it. This strikes me as a bit unusual, as then essentially all I’ve done is convert my money to CP and then receive a bunch of great stuff for it.
Is there anything I don’t know? Like does the CP disappear after this season, or is it mine forever (which would be great)?

Like I said, sorry if this is common knowledge but I’m very new to the paying aspect of the game so would appreciate some clarification.

BR Bots: Smoke and Sit

Hey, I've encountered a LOT of "characters" smoke and then state at the ground.

They run around like bots and as soon as you fire at them or someone is near them (even when they shouldn't be aware you're near them), they throw a smoke grenade and stare at the ground.

I'm pretty sure these are Bots! Either there's a dumb "Challenge" going around or the bots are glitching. I started noticing it sometime during this last week. Usually find 1 person per match who does it, but sometimes more or less people end up doing it. I'd post a video/gif but the lag during S3 makes it hard enough when I'm not trying to screen cap the game.

BR Set-Up

What's your preferred gun set-up? I've been doing M4 X3/X1.5 + PDW Red Dot for a while, but recently I've been trying AK Red Dot + AK X3/X1.5. I figured out its frustrating/risky to be switching long range to short range scopes mid-match (although very useful), so using the same gun with diff scopes works really good. It's easy to get short range, mid range, and even long range kills with minimal scope-switching. (Suppressors and quickdraw over barrel and laser sight). Most people don't know what hit em, from where they got hit, and switching weapons is quick.

EVERY weapon in CODM side by side (Easy comparison)

Hey everyone!

For those of you that don't know me, I am HawksNest. I create informative CODM content on YouTube including a ton of weapon based content! But obviously, I can't do a video comparing every single weapon in Call of Duty on video. So what I'm doing is implementing ALL of the data I have found into a simple webpage where you select the weapon (or weapons to compare) and you can see their stats. Ranked from most important to least.

I am not a web/app developer. So I will be hiring someone to do this. But my website is non profit, so this money will be out of my pocket, and designed for the community. Not to mention the time that it will take to input/gather all of this data (I have to test every weapon which takes hours per).

S36 Analysis, needs a nerf?

Why people get triggered when they get killed by s36?

  1. S36 is OP weapon.
  2. S36 needs no skill.
  3. The enemy used the tactical scope on s36.
  4. The enemy is camping with s36.

If s36 is the OP weapon then why not everyone is using it on the leaderboard?

  1. It is an LMG so movement speed is reduced.
  2. Slow ADS.
  3. It can be countered by snipers (Coz you are camping/slow movement).
  4. It can be countered by msmc close range.

Why this gun needs a nerf?

  1. Because we can't kill s36 camper.
  2. Because we keep running to camper from the same spot.
  3. My teammate sucks to counter s36 camper and they keep running to him like zombies.

True op weapon was msmc in season 2 when everyone was running and gunning with it.

If I can't kill camper and die to him then he is doing really good map control.

S36 is all about map control not camping because it has slow movement + slow ads.

If dev nerfs s36 then I don't think so it is going to be usable at all.

I hope this next update '(S4)' will fix the performance graphics error in the Huawei Hisilicon Kirin systems

Very good content that is coming for season 4 including in season 3, I hope that for the next update they can fix the game with the graphics to the maximum with Huawei devices, because in this way it is annoying to see that only these devices have that Low quality problem with many high-end devices with higher performance.

It is certainly possible if they can correct minor problems or implement several things, they can also correct what is the performance with the Kirin system that affects the game and a very good game that has managed to place itself at the top as one of the best.

So with a lot of love to the game I would like you to implement and correct that detail since in itself, it is honestly tedious to see those graphics of poor quality, please, place this error as one of the main errors to correct and repair.

Two ideas that would make BR cool/make br better
  1. domination: it can be 50v50 or 100v100, people fight over to capture the places like nuke town farm etc, they spawn on each side of the map and have pre set equipment they can upgrade, each player can choose to go to a point on the map in which they have to cap in 1 minute while defending from enemy, more people make it cap faster and there would be a flag with a large radius in the center of the place were you cap it. The game will last for 15-20 minutes depending on how long a normal game of BR is and you can end it early if you can push the enemy’s back to there home point, there you have to destroy the enemy’s HQ which would be located in the center point of the home point and you plant a bomb in which it explodes and you would win. This game mode could also be put down into a smaller map than the full BR map if it will take too long to play out.
  2. a BR nuke. The nuke can be unlocked in which it sends a nuke from count down (the place in bottom right corner of map with missile silos). The nukes does 50 or no damage and can be targeted at a major place eg nuketown, farm and bus depot, etc.(all the places with names including floating platform). There could be two possible ways to get the nuke that makes most logical sense getting a 20 kill streak(can’t be revived bit like MP) or finding the launch codes in which there is at least 1 in every game of BR. Then when you got the kill streak or launch codes you have to go to a set location to launch the nuke. (There be a couple round the map) the nuke will then be launched and hit the selected target for example the floating platform the nuke hits and the platform hits the ground and adds a new area to play in, the new area will have new loot and a new helicopter spawn if it had one, there would be either a animation or not (this is a mobile game after all) and you would be put straight down if you were on the platform when it happened. Advantage of Tablet over Phone?

I’ve been playing two finger solo queues and have maxed out at Master V. Can’t seem to get the last few hundred points to Legendary.

Considering getting a Galaxy Tablet A 10inch, for the sole purpose of getting a marginal advantage, but wondering if there even is any. Maybe the enemies appear bigger and are easier to track? Idk.

BR improvement ideas

After finding out that no new map is planned for the foreseeable future in BR, I started thinking of other ways they could keep it feeling fresh that would require less effort, and here’s some of the things I think could help make BR feel rejuvenated:

  1. Add all weapons in the game to the map so there is more variety.
  2. Add more variety of legendary attachments around the map(ie high tier areas, and airdrops)
  3. Turn more areas around the map into high tier areas, so people have more places to land than docks, countdown, or platform.
  4. Buff the striker. Since the s3 nerf I can’t recall a single person I’ve ran across this whole season that had one on them. I’m not saying changing it back to the way it was, but a middle ground of where it was during season 2 and now.
  5. Allow the attachments on the exotic arctic to be stripped and attached to other weapons.
  6. Buff lvl3 vests back to the way they were. Yea there is more of them now, but they get shredded way to easily now. Or just add legendary vests and make those harder to find, but as strong as lvl3’s we’re back in season2.

What ideas do other community members have? Let me know if you agree or disagree and why.
P.S. I’m currently legendary in BR.

Genuine Discussion: How do you like to play?

So I have just recently joined COD:Mobile and its various communities... and the one thing I have noticed is that it seems like a large majority of its player base seem to play either two ways... thumbs or claw. Now being a console gamer I saw that it had controller support and having an xbox one S controller I decided to try it out. I can see why no one really uses the controller as its aiming is clunky and bad, but! My question is this...

Why does it seem like so few use Gyro aiming? I am genuinely curious, so I would like know if you are either a finger aiming claw or thumb player. Why do you not use Gyro to aim?

The reason I ask is because I find it a million times easier to gyro aim and use my controller for control and gyro for aiming. So I open it to discussion.

I'll start with mine first: LK with basic grenades (frag and smoke) with quick regen, alert and the one perk that reduces flinch. Works for me.

Dear s36 sympathizers...

Why do you want another recoil nerf on the s36? the problem with it is its dumb dps and not its recoil.

even without a foregrip, the recoil of the gun is still amazing. I dont get why people just keep saying to just nerf the recoil when we all onow that increasing recoil does nothing to the gun. (eg. type 25, s36, rus.)

Recoil is something people can fix easily by just using the gun in a pub match for 10 minutes to get used to the recoil, then go back to ranked to get a rank they don’t deserve. And even if Cod devs just put the old ak47 recoil to the s36, tap firing just fixes the issue and will immediately make the gun viable again, since close range dosent really get affected by recoil (eg. msmc) and at long ranges, people already tap fire to kill people.

The thing cod needs to do to the s36 is to make the gun what it should have been in the first place, an LMG. a fast firing, crowd control gun that specializes in mid range, tight corridors, and high penetration damage. Not an automatic sniper rifle with the time to kill of a type 25 in 500 meters away. if they will keep the damage and fire rate to its original state, then atleast make its movement speed the slowest as it is one of the largest guns in the game with a ginormous mag and heavy caliber bullets. (like the rpd) and sliding should’nt be able to somehow go as fast as someone sliding with an msmc. its recoil should be alot higher considering its a fast firing, high dmg gun.

But unless activision or one of the devs see this, i dont think any of what i said will be acknowledged.
but this post was not really to make the game change a gun to what i want, but more to change the minds of the people who think a measly recoil nerf is going to be enough to change the meta.

Call of Duty: Mobile Weekly Tournament

Hello everyone! I’m looking to organize a weekly tournament that consists of top tier players to compete for cash prizes, COD Points, or even just bragging rights (Clout). I know there is a healthy competitive scene for this game and I figured I’d try to introduce something new to the community.

Currently, besides ranked there’s not really a consistent competitive scene in the game besides organized pro scrims which are pretty hard to get into if you don’t know top tier players.

If we can get a consistent amount of interest for this, the Tournament would be hosted every weekend. We would a weekly community vote to ban certain weapons, maps, scorestreaks, equipment, etc to keep this tournament at the healthiest professional level it can reach.

I’ve reached out to the #1 Player on Global Leaderboards, iFerg and a few other competitive players to help orchestrate this tournament to keep it running weekly. Every week would be different (i.e 2v2 SnD, 3v3 Domination, 4v4 Hardpoint, etc.) The possibilities are endless and I feel this would bring more people in to the competitive scene and also help others increase their skill by competing or even watching this until the Official CoD: Mobile release their own in-game tourneys, esports, etc.

BR needs heavy optimization

So, I play on an iPhone 6 (don't derail the topic just because I use an old device that's barely supported) and the game knows this and defaults then locks to Lowest graphics possible. This means that the render range for players in BR is insanely low, and insanely finicky. I can barely see players within 100 meters of me, and sometimes players won't even render and will have silent footsteps despite not being Ninja (last I checked medics and mechanics don't run silently).

Can we please see some form of optimization and standardization for the distance at which players render, that way players on older devices, not just myself, are able to compete with players on newer devices that can tolerate higher render range.

How do peeps get so many firecracker so fast?

The top guys have gotten 2000~ firecrackers in a day which I find very amusing and it peaks my curiosity about how they do it.

I'm highly ranked on both multiplayer and br but I'm not sure which would be the most efficient when it comes to collecting em, I get like 20 kills in both a single game of br and multiplier with me normally around 7~ firecrackers.

How is the game holding up this long after release?

I played the game for about 2 weeks when it was first released and I kind just lost interest. I’m still a huge Call of Duty fan in general and want to get back into mobile but don’t know if it is worth my time. I don’t feel like spending money but I might if I absolutely have to. I don’t really care about cosmetics, other than that, when not spending money, am I missing out of any base content? Im using Honor 8x (HiSilicon Kirin 710) and I cant set my graphics into ultra. My eye's kinda hurt coz i dont see enemies hiding in bush/grass or it feels like every enemy is camouflaging with environment. I just bought my android phone a year ago. Selling weapons which are useless to get credits!

Can CODM add something like selling the weapons that we don’t need from our load out so we can reduce the same guns with different skins. Think of it we have so many weapons from give away which have different skins that we never use at all. Like the shards that we received from Zombies mode we can sell them if we don’t need to collect more and sell to get credits. So make it the same for extra weapons with different skins, sell them to have credits. So we can keep only the weapons we need, not to pile up every thing that we receive regularly. It’s basically like a museum with all different skin same weapons. Think of it this will give any gamer the easy option to chose the guns they want. Now that they decided to add more new weapons in the future this will surely help the users to keep their much needed weapons prioritized!

Today as I hit Master 5 I started to face hackers. One players using type 25 his shots are not missing every shot at body. I faced one player he knows position of everyone even without UAV.

Second:- matchmaking is worst I always get good opponents and in my teammates are mostly noob. On hitting master 5 I am getting master 1 players and opponents are of legendary or master 5. It's so annoying now for me now.

Hi, what graphic quality do you use? I was on Low with my old device and then on High with new Xiaomi. But I saw video where was said - lower quality is better for MP (I rememeber that was the same situation in Counter Strike which my brother played so much.

Gambling in CoDM?!.....🤔 Maybe but not really.

The wagering of money does not exist in CoDM so by definition there is no gambling. The End..........however most people in current time associate gambling with chance and that’s where it gets complicated because technically there is no chance in the current system of monetization.... you buy CP with real life money that’s not chance....you exchange CP for a random item and still that’s not chance. Chance is defined as possibility of outcome and every time you open a crate you are guaranteed an item meaning the possibilities of you receiving and item from a crate are 100%......The item you get from the crate may not be the item you want but that’s where it gets complicated because now you are associating chance with desire and calling it gambling..........sounds like a YOU PROBLEM to me.

Network error causing me to quit match

Thoughts on BY15?

I LOVE the BY15. I used it a little back in S2, but stopped. I started using it again in S3 and it almost single handedly took me from Pro III to Master II (with a little supplemental help from the RUS-79U). Depending on the map, it was good for me in any game mode. I'm just curious to see if anyone else uses/likes it too?

Addition of new BR map

It is good that CoD Mobile is giving us new multiplayer maps and new weapons. But I really hoped that aerial platform would be a teaser for new map. I feel bad that Activision has no plans for now. But the BR playing style and intensity has been increasing every day and it feels great to see that BR is getting so many great players and interesting gameplay. I m sorry to wobble here but Ranked is cancer RN

I had a domination at crossfire. And as soon as the round started all of my other 4 teammates rushed to B and was intsantly killed. These guys are serious cancer. As enemy was taking B everyone rushed to c and got killed.
To cap it off there were 3 s36 in there team.

At one point enemy triple capped. How did they rank up if they are trash. No one knows.

Why play the objective. We just want kills.

Unpopular opinion: Domination is the worst ranked game mode

It just is so completely different to every other mode.

In all the other modes, it promotes the careful player, the one who holds corners and keeps positions. This all goes out of the window with Dom.

One op player, a few ranks above the rest, completely own the match. No one else has a chance to fight back. It is nearly impossible to make a comeback, and if you mess up early on, the whole game is over.

That’s just my two cents. Don’t take it personally.

Add a "Use a medicine item" line in Battle Royale

I swear to god, I don't how many times I've been paired with someone who gets shot to oblivion and instead of healing they just keep going like nothing happened. I don't know if they think that their health regens by itself like in other gamemodes or if they think that healing items are used automatically but in the end the result is the same: they get shot at and they fall in a few shots, I revive them before they bleed out and they fall again in one shot, DON'T THEY SEE A PATTERN THERE? Worst of all, when they finally die, they instantly leave without giving me even a chance to pick up their tags.

It's impossible to play BR/MP ranked for me because my screen freezes in both modes at least once per game. The most recent update didn't help at all. It made it even worse. Before it was only in BR but now its in both modes. I'm using the OnePlus 6T.

Advice for adapting in Legendary/Master V games?

Really, really losing my patience.....

I am so fucking sick of Domination I could puke. Grinding my way to Master II and every other fucking game is Domination. Wasting 80% of time trying to get back into the game. Lots of fun, Tencent.....

Am I missing something? Just because this stupid mode has been in COD all along doesn’t make it worthy of the game, sorry. A little more S&D and even Hardpoint would be great. Time to send Domination to the 1 in 10-20 ratio instead of every other fucking game.

Need tips for using locus

I got the locus a week ago and haven’t used it until today. I found out I was pretty good with it ( better than with the dlq) because of the fast fire rate. I found a solution to the broken ranking system.

I really hope the Call of Duty: Mobile developers see this, because I strongly feel like the current ranking system is unfair and is an inaccurate measurement/representation of how good a player truly is. I feel like a lot of people in the Ranked MP community will agree with me on this.

First let’s discuss what’s the purpose of ranked MP. The purpose of ranked MP is to have a competitive mode in which players can fight other players that are similar to their skill level to determine who is better. However I strongly feel like the current ranked MP match fail to reflect this goal. In a truly accurate ranking system, boosted players (players who get carried by their teammates) shouldn’t even exist, however they do on here.

In the current state of the ranking system, a player gains or lose rank points depending on whether a team loses or wins. This means that a player that truly isn’t up to par with their competition will gain points regardless of how they perform in the game as long as their team wins (which leads to boosted players). Likewise a player performs exceptionally well against their competition (carry the losing team) will still lose points if that player loses the match! This type of system doesn’t result in an accurate comparison a player’s ability against players of similar skill. I, myself, am tired of carrying other players as best as I can, getting MVP, on the losing team and still lose a lot of rank points.

My proposed idea is to reduce the impact of the winning/losing factors from the formula that calculates rank points. Instead, the most accurate way to compare player skill is not only how well they’re performing compared to their opponents, but also amongst their own teammates as well.

So as a simple example, let’s say that we have a 5v5 Search and Destroy. At the end of the match, instead of giving the winning team points and taking points away from the losing team, do a comparison of all 10 players and their performance with each other.

The top 4 performers, regardless of which team...

Reach Master II last night after the night before really struggling

Disclaimer that I don't intend to use this post to brag about it but it is for what I realize why I struggled the night before and won last night with ease. I won 4 Games straight to rank up while always being the top 3 on the team while the night before I was an utter garbage it's not even funny

So the night before I played some games for warm ups and I killing it, while also making my trusty AK117 layout that I used earlier in the season and win a lot. Couple games into the ranked, I'm not going to say I played well but I performed and win. One of the games, I played one game with more long range fight and I just get owned because I am really blind, I nearly lost all long range fight. So I change all of my class with red dot to played better in long range, and I utterly destroyed and failed to ranked up despite like 100 points away and end up need 200 points because I was suck while the earlier game, I killed it.

I was thinking to myself "why I played so well earlier while played really sucks later on?" so I was like might be because of the red dot sight, so last night decide to swap everything to iron sight for all of my classes and Killed it, took me 6 matches to rank up (more or so 200 points). Still lose long rage fight but I played more aggressive running through cover

TLDR: Changes all of my class from red dot sight to Iron sight and rank up easily while I was struggling the night before

another tips I would add dead silence is OP, I don't see myself not using it in any of my class except for domination class where I need hardline

I am also only use two thumber user

Hope it helps anyone that struggling, Feel like I can reach legend but running out of time because I also need to grind the Battle royal to Master II

Multiple rank penalties bc of game crash.

So in the 3 hours ive been playing ranked multiplayer on cod today the game has crashed at least 3 times during a match. Which has resulted in me getting a -25 rank points penalty each time so at least -75 points taken away from me bc of a problem with the game. With the progress I have right now those points would've meant a higher rank for me. Why are we being penalized bc of the game crashing? We have no control over that. I have filed a report through the game multiple times and nobodies even cared enough to tell me theyll look into it.

Why controllers on cod mobile will always suck..

So just to clarify, the only reason it's so difficult to use a controller is because there is slight input lag/delay when using any of the buttons on a controller. I'm alot better than most people using a controller on mobile because I'm used to that lag but I can never be better than any decent mobile player. You'll always be slightly delayed in anything you do especially with aiming which is where it's the most significant and problematic. Your supposed to get paired with other people who use controllers too but what if I told you that it doesnt always the case. I've been paired numerous times with people who dont even own a controller on mp. Sometimes people who own a controller just hook it up to there phones/tablets without using it for easier wins against actual controller players. I ended up reaching mastery rank 3 on season 3 of battle royale only using controller so I had a bit of time having a good sense of how bad it was. I tried with mp ranked and... thats a whole other story. If the ps4 controller was synced to cod mobile as well as it was to it's own console I'd GUARENTEE controller users would be more dominant to use over a lot of mobile players.

Anyway here's my pros and cons..

PROS

  • fingers are not in the way of screen
  • having a feel for physical buttons to press
  • okay for newer players and casual play such as zombies

CONS

  • input lag = delayed reactions for everything = lots of deaths
  • less customizations for controls
  • sometimes buggy button responses
  • terrible for more competitive gameplay with higher skill gap such as ranked mp

(Keep in mind this is not a rant but more of an in depth review)

Verdict:
If you plan on using a controller for cod mobile that's completely cool and more power to you. If you plan on playing against mobile players up in the ranks itll be a rough and aggravating ride.

Second Perk - Ghost and Toughness

which do you prefer and why? Which one in your opinion keeps you alive longer, is there a noticeable improved performance while using either or? I primarily am going to use this for AR’s if that means anything, 2 out of my 5 classes are open to ghost or toughness. My Hbra3 has a silencer but my type-25 does not; but are currently running with toughness.

Season reset and rewards

Hello guys. I'm new at this game and there is something that I can't understand since this is my first season here and I wanted to ask now that I'm master III and I already have my yellow snake reward if the next season I will be able to have the reward given at X level even if the reset takes me up from the reward. The thing is: if the reset takes me to master II and the reward from season 4 is in master I will I be able to have it? And how is this reset affecting any reward?

Battle Royale Air Drop Crate

Just a suggestion. Should the DLQ33 and/or Locus be added in to the Air drop? That airdrop would be most competitive as everyone will be after the Sniper Rifle.

M4 is low key an OP weapon

New attachments for shotguns would be nice

I know some people have mentioned how they want to see more perks and attachments added to this game. As a shotgun main, attachments are really lacking. The options are fast reload, long barrel, and maybe suppressor. Laser sight is just a cosmetic so it doesn’t really do anything. I would love to see an attachment that reduces the time it takes to pump but not too much to the point where 2 shots will have a quicker ttk than ARs, SMGs, and LMGs. It still has to be balanced.

I am really pissed mad at the pings I sometimes get. From 86-186 really annoying. Why not have servers in Kenya or RSA that would minimize the lag while in playing. Annoying as I feel some players have an advantage when it comes to their internet speeds. Time to actually accept Africa has competitive gamers.

Activision CANNOT UNBAN you because of TENCENT. Whoever got falsely banned NEEDS to see this update.

Alright listen up guys. I know that hundreds of good and legit players here are being banned for no reason and that's true. Activision support confirmed to me unofficially that my account was banned falsely and they couldn't see the details of the ban. Weird stuff.

After a few days double check my account, Activision support replied me back with an update: My account cannot be unbanned because TENCENT Security team double checked and confirmed the ban was legitimate.

Seriously? Spent $2600 for skins and hack to let myself banned? Non sense. I bet 90% who got banned spent over $100. Some thousands. As much as youtubers spent. Why should I hack? Hello? Hacking on Android device? It could be, but on iOS device? No fk way!!! Even if you want to, you still can't. You need a computer with emulator to do that.

However, if you use emulator, no matter Bluestacks or Gameloop, you still get banned for 24 hours. Yes, only 24 hours, no matter you are hacking or not. They like to do that. But hey, I use iPad Pro to play, I didn't even use hack or cheat. I got banned for 10 years. Hold on 1 sec, remember PUBG Mobile? They give you the details why you got banned. And it has the appeal button too. Guess what? COD Mobile doesn't. A bigger company like TENCENT doesn't have an appeal button or a proper customer service who handles the bans and enforcement. What kind of joke is this.

Then, each time you appeal a ban with Activision (Idk how you do this magic lol), they will HAVE TO transfer the appeal or something to TENCENT. Wait what? Why TENCENT? Why not Activision? Oh, because TENCENT creates the game, Activision is just the brand which is the base of the theme: guns, basic skins, maps... TENCENT does the rest. Including the ban.

So, who should I sue? Of course not Activision. TENCENT is. It's like Activsion ordered a mobile game from TENCENT first. TENCENT made the game and passed it out to Activision based on COD materials. Then, Activision publishe...

So I was just thinking about this for the past week or so, so basically the lvls for the battle pass is 50 right? So I thought of a better solution for F2P players but kinda bad for the developers I think... So the plan I thought of is there are 2 50s and the half is the normal one and the other 50 is the battle pass you pay for but you can grind it BUTTTTT I was thinking you extend that second part to 100 and when you buy the battle pass you get 50 so yeah just an opinion. Can I mute the quick message voice?

There’s a dude I always get teamed up with who spams the ‘turn on voice chat’ quick message. I mean literally spams it, just spends the entire game pressing it over and over while the rest of the team lose their mind telling him to stop it. Especially if you’re playing something like search and destroy it’s a nightmare - super distracting. I’ve reported him multiple times to no avail.
Is there any way to just mute all the quick messages? I’ve looked in settings and you can change a lot of audio stuff but can’t find anything for that.

Alternatively, can I block him? AFAIK I can only block people from messaging me, not from coming up as a potential teammate/opponent (often he’ll do this in the ALL chat so everyone cops it).

It honestly does my head in and I want to destroy him and his family.

I'm so tired killing bots in battle Royal. When we play squad with friend, sometimes we met real people, but more time we play vs Bots. It's make me upset. It's real problem play 4vs96 bots. Can developers setup min count squad is que, like 4-5 squads and ONLY AFTER 5 SQUAD READY, LAUNCH SERVER? IM OK with time in que, 1-2-3 min, but play after with real people. Kino Der Toten on CoDM

So, I like the zombies, don't get it wrong, but it would be very interesting if we had Kino Der Toten from Black Ops. I would suggest we have it like it is in Black Ops, with crawlers, the 115 song, and all the different doors and mechanism. Kino is also a very classic and good map, so I think a lot more players would play the zombies mode.

Activision and Tencent make me mad (a small rant)

I've been seeing more and more of these Garena screenshots and chit-chat about how awesome it all is compared to Global, to be fair, I'm absolutely jealous of what these people get compared to us, we've wanted so many things that are impossible to get while for Garena players it's an absolutely easy thing to get.

Activision and Tencent (maybe Timi too) can't seem (or don't want) to get a right middle spot for now much they wanna give us, because they're so busy trying to get us to spend 200 dollars on lucky draws for shit that no one cares about but still wants to get because they all look awesome (aka the HBR/Razorback/Pharo/MOW situations) because who wants to eat, right? The Locus is one awesome weapon we got this season, right, but is that it? Garena literally can get thrice as much as that.

I believe that this Season 4 apart from being quite promising it's gonna be disappointing, considering the failure that S3 was by trying to deliver and failing to do so, we all waited for the promised things we had (even I defended the fact that they were gonna add it all "soon" before the season ended, silly me) and we didn't get them, I'm incredibly disappointed in these people and their lack of transparency around the situation, even though in their last Community Update they addressed all of this, doesn't mean they can't do it twice in a row.

I have my hopes up but I hope I'm not let down, that's gonna be leading me and many other people to ultimately quit the game and stop giving money to what's otherwise a worthy to play mobile game and a pretty scummy company like Activision.

I know I'm not the only one who thinks this, I've seen many people complaining about this (more outside of the subreddit than inside of it).

As a side note, good luck and have fun to everyone who's grinding for prizes before the season ends!

Good experience with a new friend

My brother and I have been playing CoD Mobile together since it came out. He's played the CoD BR game on the xbox a lot, and I haven't really seriously played a shooter since BF1942.

Anyway, nowadays we are both level 150 players in the Legendary rank for the current season. Whether we play together or apart, we usually do pretty well in matches. Sometimes, we play just the two of us in quads, but a couple of days ago we went in and forgot to lock the other people out of the squad and it actually worked out, so we friended a couple guys.

Last night, I saw that one of those guys was on and we ended up playing 8 matches together with him. He was on voice, is a solid level ~100 player, and actually stuck with us during the matches. We won every game we played with him last night, and he came through with at least one clutch win (where the two of us were downed at the end).

Rapid Fire Metagame Strategy for New Players-

​

The following strategy is meant to keep scorestreaks up at all times and avoid the point deficiency from running into air traffic.

With this strategy, player will build momentum as the game goes on, eventually locking the enemy team down.

It works better with maps with few spawn locations. Map knowledge is key.

This is not a cheap strategy, player still has to put in work, read the spawn patterns, have knowledge of the spawn points, and keep up with game flow.

Scorestreak - Molotov
This is a cheap way to block off choke points and scare the enemy

Hunter Killer Drone
Free points to get your sentry gun

Sentry Gun
The bread and butter of the strategy

Perks - X*/X*/Hardline

Weapon - SMG/AR (Something you can kill people with, that doesn't tempt you to camp)

A gun to run across the map with.

Map Knowledge - You need to know where the spawn points are.

Game Start:

Play safe, First Kill gets you a Molotov.

Once you get your Hunter Killer Drone, put it in the air ASAP.
Use Hunter Killer ALWAYS as soon as possible.

First Sentry Gun, used to control the map.

Stay alive!

Second Sentry Gun, place behind your spawn.

Operator Skill Engage - Push into Enemy spawn as hard and fast as possible to force spawn flip.

Enemy spawns into your Second Sentry Gun.

Third Sentry Gun, place behind Enemy Spawn.

Fourth and Fifth Sentry Guns can be used to lock into the enemy. Place at or near spawn.

If the other team is good, player first two Sentry Guns may fall, but as you keep Hunter Killer Drones in the air, this is free points and you will afford to place more.

When friendly VTOL comes, spawn will constantly change, so make sure you are doubled up on Sentry guns at one spawn, so you can go Close Quarters at the opposite side.

Why Play Cod Mobile

For those whales out there that spend a lot money in Cod Mobile, why do you devote time in playing Cod Mobile instead playing on PC Cod Modern Warfare? I never had my own PC so since childhood mobile games are my only way to go and even if I can buy a pc it still won't be able to run the Cod Modern Warfare (I live in a third world country).

Devs, what the hell is happening with perks?

This started happening recently. Basically the perks I set up for one loadout are not active in game and instead I'm getting some random perks that are somehow changing even tho I use the same loadout for 2 weeks now. So I have Agile, Hard wired and Silence. First kill in game I die from trip mine which is the main reason I activated Hard Wired. Instead I get stupid Vulture which I noticed by green marks when enemy is killed. Next, I'm getting Alert which I never set up for that loadout and it seems like Silence and Alert are swapping through game. Now I don't even know if Agile is working or not. Please fix this. Perks are the most important part of loadout and it's pretty frustrating when you die from something that you played around (trip mines in my example)
