HEY all, when red feet appear on the map is this because someone is moving and close to you or only close? If I stay still will I not show up?

Remove or nerf the mechanic in Battle royale

As someone who is going for the merc skin on master 2 you guys do not believe how fucking annoying it is when I die or lose a shit ton of my heath to the mechanic, there are almost no downsides to it. It doesn’t even make sense in a realistically, it’s an EMP drone why does it affect out HUMAN soldiers. You should not lose the ability to run and you should not lose the ability to aim in.

Please i need some help

I am a codm garena player, so in garena version of the game has somekind of different method of gambling a skin for gun, character, etc thats not a lootbox seriously i kinda feel waste my money alot just for collecting these item, because if you 1st try the different gamble system you felt like you gonna get the goods but in the end its the same schema like the international did, i really regret of this behaviour and yess codm is the first mobile game I've spend microstransaction on i felt regret and dirty doing it how i could stop this?

Now this is interesting

So I hadn't played call of duty : infinite warfare but a week ago I saw my friend play it and had a idea abou since in this battle pass there are both skins from infinite warfare it might be a good idea to give them their perks like rare and epic guns have. in if(infinite warfare) FTL has eraser(duh,not that eraser) it can one shot people by hip firing and you can see them wanish and phantom has pulsar that are like nanoparticles and wallhack mixed. So they can be charged throughout the game like operator skills and can be used if you are using that skin.

If you want to know more you can see on YouTube I bet you'll be amazed. And there are two other things for each skins but I picked these cause these are more cool.

And I am marking this as a spoiler in case it becomes real.

In your opinion, who is the best Cod Mobile streamer?

It could either be a streamer or somebody who just uploads good Cod Mobile content.

I'm usually privy to a select few, namely, Yanrique (BR Champion), Knifes iOS (I think this one is self explanatory), HawksNest, LittleB (sniping), iFerg (purely for the entertainment), Bobby Plays (again for the entertainment), and Tigon.

I thought this would be a good discussion to really see if there are any more outstanding players that post good content.

Bugs that need to fixed

Here is a list of bugs that NEED to be fixed.
● Game freezing out of no one

● Game freezes while watching killcam.

● Enemies not dying as soon as you kill them. Meaning their boddies don't fall.

● Enemies teleporting out of nowhere.

● Not being able to click on anything in main menu without getting a connecting to sever/waiting screen.

● Controller support working one minute but not is the next. Earlier this morning I was playing with my controller and it worked very good but now the controls (the camera) are wonky.

It's clear S3 broke this game, because none of these bugs was present in previous seasons. So if S3 did all of this, just imagine what S4 is going to do. These aren't the only issues, but the main ones.

Please please please nerf the S36

Its so imbalanced and is obviously overpowered for long distance maps.

The damage, combined with the fast fire rate and range pretty much means instant kill without a fight. This makes it hard to play search and destroy matches that have open maps and you're trying to plant the bomb. Its almost impossible to counter one unless you sneak up behind them (assuming that you're lucky enough) and shotgun or msmc their ass.

Please nerf it. I do enjoy your game Activision, and i understand if its not possible, but please its not fun if im getting insta killed by someone with a gun that is more powerful than two snipers combined.

It's frustrating.....

Just came off ranked to come here and say that its not nice. I managed to make it to pro 1 and I've been losing lots of matches.

Only won only a couple of matches and thats it.

Teammates are shit. I i had 1 guy looking at enemies when there were 3 enemies defusing the bomb right in front of him and he did nothing.

I feel like shit like i cant do this anymore.

Previous seasons was actually good i was actually playing good and i lost my fair share of matches.

Some BR Squad Tactics

This advice is for teams that communicate and coordinate. I only use these if 3+ members of my squad have mic on, people are sharing ammo/medicine/attachments, making good callouts and working together.

Description: Minimal separation between players, like 10m. Establish a leader and everyone stays close to them. When you identify enemies, everyone gets into a line and opens fire immediately while pushing forward. Shoot at one enemy until they are dead then shift fire to another enemy. If enemies are behind cover, mass grenades to one side of their cover and assault from the other side. Prioritize reloading/shooting over healing.

Pros:

-Easy close combat wins

-Best way to initially loot an area (start at same building, minimal separation)

-If someone is downed or killed they’ll be revived immediately

Cons:

-Sacrifices ability to flank which can be exploited by a third team entering your firefight

-Vulnerable to squadkill by explosives

Recommended for: initial looting, areas with buildings, areas with rolling hills, attacking enemy helicopters

Best gear: trickster, mechanic, SMGs, ARs

How to counter play: use grenades to split up enemy kill team and delay their assault, don’t let them get close to you

Wtf has happened to the bots in Battle Royale?!

Has anyone else noticed how the bots in season 3 are just so broken?

Firstly they just randomly teleport next to you. You can land somewhere, know you're completely alone in that area, yet someone randomly appears 10 seconds later with full kit, health packs etc. No doors have been opened or anything, thet just magically dropped with all these items.

And now they're really random. Everytime you see one they start trying to throw a utility grenade. Half the time they dont even try shooting.

Then like I said before, once you kill them, they're fully kitted out. I can kill one in the first 30 seconds of the game and they'll have 2 weapons, like 200 ammo, upgrades and health packs. A player can't pick up items that quickly, especially without going into any buildings (literally all doors will be closed and all glass on windows intact).

They really need to be fixed to be more realistic...

What am I doing wrong?

Serious question:
What am I doing wrong or not understanding? Every time I play matched I find that I can empty most of or even an entire magazine into an opponent and watch them get hit, only for them to fire a single shot and take me out. I’ve tried with multiple weapons and it always happens. Doesn’t matter if it’s close range or long range. When it happens at the end of a match I notice that my opponent is sometimes using the same weapon as me. Why does this happen in matched but not in regular MP mode?

Problems with the ICR Meteors

I don't get whats up with the ICR meteors. It's supposed to have better accuracy than the m4 yet I have to burst fire with it at long range like wtf and i have foregrip on it. How do the stats not reflect the gun? fix the recoil and accuracy to this gun please its already weak enough. What do you guys think?

3rd person view in Multiplayer

So my gf and I want to play CoD Mobile together but she suffers from vertigo (getting dizzy/nauseated) when playing FPS games but we've found that playing in BR 3rd person helps out a lot for the dizziness to not occur. Is there a way to use 3rd person mode in Multiplayer? I know 3rd person view has the exact same range of view as 1st person, but 3rd doesn't send signals to the brain thinking you're actually inside the game, hence it prevents vertigo. If this would be implemented as a feature, we would appreciate it greatly :)

Fpp or Tpp in BR? Which one do you use and why?

I started off with Fpp because it felt more comfortable and normal. Im at pro 2 rn grinding for Gold Merc, but i watched a ytber destroying it in br with Tpp and gave it a go. Ive played like 5-6 games now and havent finished 1st however 4 of em were top 10 finishes so i guess good? Idk
What do you you guys prefer? Fpp or tpp? I find tpp a little weird and less reactive

Weapon/skin shards

Hello. It would be nice to give a second use to shards in the zombie mode. Once you unlocked the weapon/skin they are useless ans you keep stacking a ton of them for nothing. I know you can sell them for credits but that's really not enough.

We could trade them for something else more useful or even for other shards we need.

Game crashes mid game?

So my game is completely fine on main menu and everything but once I load into a game it will let me play for 2-4 mins then it will crash and I have to reload into the app after I rejoin the game it sometimes will crash again it just depends I’ve tried changing all my settings to the lowest graphics and FPS and everything I’m on a iPhone 8+ I’ve tried turning off low power mode and turning it on I’ve tried background apps refresh with Turing it on and off and I seem to not be able to find a solution it’s really irritating bc I can be in the middle of a high kill streak and my game just crashes and I can’t fix it please help thanks :)

Sorry... But Trip Mines....

... are just pathetic. I won't play against them. Just not gonna do it. Once I see trip mines in play, I just wander around, sort of half-assing... score doesn't matter. Just played Domination and the other team had two players using trip mines in every alley... It's just pathetic. I don't mind admitting, I'm not great at the game, yes, I'm a noob... first COD game for me... But I know competitive sports and games very well... and trip mines are just plain bitch. Yeah, you can use Hard-Wired, I know, I know... I already use it for every SnD match because there is no other choice. I'm not gonna start using it for Dom, too. Have some self-respect and use a lethal weapon that at least takes a tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny bit of skill. It's cool... it's just gonna make most ranked matches a joke from here on out.

Rule of Thumb

In any competitive game or sport, the more that luck or skilless styles of play can dictate the outcome of a game (win vs lose), the more frustrating it's going to be for players that are trying to compete. The goal is to reduce tactics that require no skill or pure luck. Otherwise, you'll end up with a bunch of players that are frustrated and complain arguing with a bunch of players that love exploiting unfair advantages. That's why there's a big group that love the S36 camper advantage and a big group that hates it. Same with Trip Mines. The developers have done an AMAZING job of nerfing the weapons that needed nerfing to balance this issue out... S3 is a huge improvement because of the SMRS nerf, alone. I'm just pointing out that the pattern is there and adjustments will always be needed, but hopefully less and less... and in my opinion, Trip Mines are a bigger source of frustration than the S36, but we all see it differently.

F2P vs P2W

Many players have been talking a lot of trash about paid players recently. To be honest, it's getting kind of annoying to hear the "F2P vs P2W" argument. I think it's time to end the debate once and for all.

What many players do not realize is that nothing is free. The only way for the devs to continue running and developing this game is through the money they make off it, either through ads or paid systems. Without their support, the game would either have to have a price tag or run a TON of ads in order to keep the game afloat.

I spent all of S1 and S2 completely F2P, only purchasing the Elite PMC skin as a way to show my appreciation to the devs for making such a great game. When S3 launched, I decided to further my support by buying the season pass, and nothing else. To me, the season pass' rewards were a nice bonus, but all I cared about was showing my support for the devs. All other items were either grinded for or bought using the earnable in-game currency. And so far, I've reached level 115 (nice) and I'm ranking in Master every season, all while never purchasing a penny on a crate.

The secret to getting good equipment as a F2P user: log in every day. Play at least 2 or 3 matches every day. Focus more on completing events, and you'll get decent equipment quite frequently. All of those weekly events and daily logins add up, and soon you'll find yourself drowning in credits and guns (I've gotten 19 guns this season, 11 of which were from weekly events and daily login crates. 7 were from battle pass crates, and the last one for leveling.

Basically, paid users keep this game free to download and play for everyone else, and we truly owe them our gratitude for funding this amazing game we all love to play.

Mouse/Keyboard on a mobile game~ The epitome of an unfair advantage ~ meet CoD Mobile ~ rant

So it’s been a long day, and I was looking forward to a good session of CoDM Battle Royale.

So I loaded up a match of solo. Shortly after landing, I took one guy out. But then was lazered down by an enemy with an AR at a long range.

‘Damn, that was quick’

So I figured I just needed to be more cautious and went for round two.

This time, About 15 seconds after landing, again, lazered down.

Third match, shot down again by an enemy with precise aiming at long range with an AR.

We’re not talking about gun fights. We’re talking no missing, precise accuracy, instant response time.

With that, I figured it was time for a rant.

I’m not saying I know for a fact on all three occasions the enemies were not using two thumbs on a tiny iPhone SE. but I’m saying that sort of response time is only imitated by either a very skilled 8 finger claw, or simply by mouse and keyboard. I’ve played two thumbs, I’ve played mouse and keyboard. There is a clear advantage to one, and handicap to the other.

Let’s turn to boxing. Lightweight and heavyweight - They are divided because if people 130 lbs boxed people 200 lbs, ‘skill’ becomes less relevant and the person who possesses more strength has a huge advantage because his power is significantly increased. There will always be lucky breaks, but it’s pretty important to decide these classes or the smaller people will just get clobbered by bigger people.

Who the fuck wants to play a game where lightweight(touch) is constantly having to fight heavyweight(M/KB)? Or even a Bluetooth controller vs claw? There’s no comparison and for Tencent to say ‘fuck it, let them all play together. No division’ is a bastard thing to do.

I don’t doubt that it’s possible to overcome someone using a more precise method. But I don’t like playing a PVP game where my enemy has superior methods that I don’t have access to.

Sure, I can go emulate the damn game and play with a mouse and keyboard too. But I don’t prefer that setup or I wouldn’t be playing CoD MOBILE.

Controller buttons

Hello, I just had a few quick questions about using a controller. I'm on a OnePlus 7.

  1. Is there any way to change the keymapping completely?

  2. With the default keymapping, if you want to use the operator skill it says "LB + RB."
    Wtf does this mean?

  3. Is there a button that allows you to go into ADS mode and start shooting directly (Like the bullet icon that points to the left)? Right now the ADS button just goes into the scope but doesn't shoot.

In the past days while playing BR, the amount of points lost because of the bugs and many other issues that CoD:Mobile is presenting. To mention just a few:

  1. While firing at enemies, they get suck below surface and appear somewhere else near you.

  2. Landing, jumping, flying, etc. You could get stuck easily for seconds and even minutes.

  3. The game HAS TO STOP kicking me out and then TAKING POINTS AWAY. It is impossible to play like this.

This and other issues, are a constant of many of the players; who like me, deal with this everyday.

Rules for Battle Royale

A quick thread for tips on BR. Please add any suggestions.

I'll begin.

  1. Pay attention to your teammates.

I've lost matches down to the last 5 because my teammate was not paying attention. I marked an enemy location repeatedly, and used the locator to show their positions. My teammates walked straight into their death because they were oblivious to what was happening. Final safe zone and they were messing about before running to their death.

  1. Being the last man.

If your teammates are on the revive flight, you need to stay safe. Take high ground and stay alert, or keep cover in a building and watch any entrances. Again I've had teammates who were either oblivious to them being the last man, or they don't understand the game. Until your teammates jump from the plane, its game over if the last man dies. So do not stay out in open ground.

  1. Use your mini map. Nearby enemies are highlighted by red footprints. Moving vehicles are highlighted too. Look at your mini map. I've died, and watched a teammate then die, because it seems they didn't look at their mini map and had no idea they were near an enemy. They then walked into their death.
    Nearby gunfire is also visible on the mini map, including your own. Do not shoot at zombies unless absolutely necessary. An enemy will use the zombies to lure you out. When you shoot, they'll either be ready to kill you, or you've given your location away on the mini map.

Three very annoying bugs, breaking or at least ruining the game

Three pretty game-breaking (or at least game-ruining) bugs i've run into in ranked games (tho I imagine they can be replicated in pubs):

● Shield deploy glitch where upon deploying the shield (maybe while moving) a shield will forever block the bottom part of your screen. The enemy doesn't see it and it serves no purpose, other than to make it way harder to play. (Happens quite frequently)

● Sometimes I will respawn and not be able to run. I will be stuck at crouch speed no matter my player position. Jumping, emoting, death, pressing the auto-run button, nothing seems to fix it. (Happened to me twice so far, not sure how)

● Player models will sometimes slide and stand up a second of so after being killed. The sound Q has caused me to lose many a SnD rounds. (Happens every game)

AITA CODM Players?

I know, I know, this isn't a sub for AITA questions but I need an answer.

So, just before S3 I thought I'd give ranked a try, enjoyed going up the ranks and when S3 started I pretty much only play ranked (mainly) or a bit of battle royale

After watching a couple streamers playing I realised I hadn't tried the s36 which a lot of these guys were using.

Created a loadout and dove in. Now I can't imagine playing without it but I do use other guns (PDW, M4, type 25 + locus are my other loadouts)

I've seen a lot of hate on this sub for campers who use the s36 and I too hate them, any camper gives me stress tbh.

My question is, am I abusing the game by using the s36?
I absolutely do not camp, not ever have I enjoyed playing like that, I barely change the way I play if I have an smg, ar or lmg. I like to run around and be involved in the action and I'm never camped in one spot.

No free draw for Lunar Treasure?

I forgot how many days the event was for, but you’re supposed to get 1 free draw per day, but while I was waiting for the free draw which showed 42 minutes, I went to do something else, and when I came back it showed 23hr 21 minutes or something like that.

I’m wondering if this is happening for anyone else or am I supposed to be online at the exact timing?

A very important improvement

I feel sometimes is really wrong with codm. I have played 3 beta season of codm provided reports and helped the game grow. But now all my non beta player friends got the battle pass for 220 cp and i had to buy it for 550 cp . I feel it is partiality. And i request codm community to reverse it so atleast we as beta players feel previllaged .

What is wrong with people in this game ? I have a mic and I openly ask where my duo wants to land and 9/10 they don’t mark and just jump. They don’t say when they are in a fight or if they need meds. One guy died really close to me and I said don’t leave I can get your tag and he left. They loot your kills (at least wait until I see if I need something). You can use coms in this game without ever speaking

Which brings me to the match making problem I’m master 3 yet my teammates are bronze, at least give me someone who is actually grinding for the skin. I think the game just fills in whoever is playing and that’s cool but not when your going up against legendary duos and your teammate doesn’t even know what an upgrade terminal is

101 Ranked Guide To Legendary

Hi, I think many people are not understanding the principle of objectives.

I am Legendary Two Thumber who played 95% games solo queue.

There are few things that people need to understand before playing and also few tips how to carry and how NOT to make your team weaker.

Team deatchmatch :
Pretty straightforward - first to 50 kills wins. What does it mean? Kill kill and kill everything that moves, yes. Exactly...but few things there:

1: 10-0 K/D is BETTER than 20-15
2: Play smart, do not rush enemy spawn just to get killed
3: Never stop moving, camping kills ya. This is not counter strike. Sitting in the corner will most likely gets you killed. Why? If I sprint around, See somebody shooting at me,I slide follow the sound and red signals and just kill him while he loses his aim thanks to my sneaky agility skills. Most players in master and legendary can outrun shooter with knife with average aim. So, this is pretty easy with some training.
4. Trip mines are less effective in this mode, as from my experience, commando always smash my ass while I am switching weapons and one kill from trip is not worth it... Maybe just at the very start of round.

Domination :
So the main objective is to get points that are generated ONLY from BASES, kill won't give anything, deaths won't give anything. This is the mode where your K/D will go down if you are playing correctly, because it requires you to go on suicide mission to give your team maybe 2-3 seconds to deffend point. Or going 1 vs 3 deffending.

1: B is the most important base. Forget enemy spawn base (C), you will not take it alone,and if you do, you will lose it in the next 5 seconds after you get killed from spawning enemies. Enemy base point is worth taking only if you DOMINATE a lot and they can't seem to kill you.
2: Always protect points, not sniping enemies just to get better K/D, nobody cares about your K/D if you are the reason your team is losing.
3: Do not take point without trophy system, you are most likely to get tripple-quadra killed with explosives...

Ak47,type 25,lk24 and sometimes the m4 honest I really like all 4 of these guns. I’m not a f2p guy I’ve spent money. Lots to be exzact. I’ve gotten every paywalled gun and I still feel like those 4 are the best in the game.

Here is the story. I (nostromo_) was playing with my buddy (MaloJeTo) squad mode BR and the game gave us these two guys. We landed in Sekura during the initial drop, yet these two guys landed in Practice Range. Okay, i said, we get used to stuff like this so we went on playing, looting and thinking about going with the chopper to pick up those two.
Anyway, we didn't had chopper by the church, and these two (of course) died in Practice. There is absolutely no way we would ever reach Practice in time, and even worse, the zone started to collapse. Their dogtags expired, and Pitbul left the game, but this asshole Riffolo stayed in the game and continued spamming the PICK UP MY DOG TAG button on purpose. He was doing that even when his dogtad was active, yet somehow he continued spamming the button while completely gone, obviously annoyed by me and my friend who couldn't reach him.

How is this even possible? Furthermore, this retard and spoiled little brat, who decided to stay and annoy us by spamming, wanted us dead by doing that. His little brain couldn't comprehend the logics, that we are fighting to gain expirience, and by annoying us, he would go MINUS exp too.

So we finished 3rd, but i feel we could win the game, if not for this idiot and spam button that continued to work, even while his dogtag expired.

Please, remove that button, Tencent. I already see on the map where is the dogtag. This button is nothing but nightmare for spoiled kids who doesn't understand the basic principles of survival and being part of the team.

This asshole with tiny little brain, can't understand the logic, that by annoying us, who couldn't reach his dogtag in time, because he wasn't following the leader (me) and my friends during the initial drop, is going to get him MINUS exp if we loose. I reported the asshole for "verbal abuse" and added some stuff on my own.
We would finish at least second, if not for his spamming.

Is there a difference between the DL Q33 - Deep Shark, and the DL Q33 - Ukiyo-e?

I've been using the DL Q33 - Deep Shark in my sniper loadout, and it usually kills with one shot. I got lucky and pulled the DL Q33 - Ukiyo-e, and switched to it. I'm using the same loadout and attachments, but find that I'm getting a lot more hit markers instead of kills. Is there some difference between these guns, other than the art?

Arctic 50

after this patch i've noticed the arctic 50 took an incredibly powerful hit when it comes to mobility. it's incredibly sluggish to move around and the scope in speed is super slow now.

this was way too much overkill and it was clearly done to combat quickscoping (which is already harder on mobile than console).

having the smaller 1 shot kill box compensated for the faster movement and scope in speed. it was balanced because you could defend yourself at close range against multiple enemies but only if you had the accuracy to get the 1 shot kills. now if you're up against multiple enemies it's almost impossible to survive.

it needs to either go back to earlier or meet in the middle of the 2 different versions.

for those who hate quickscopers and think the arctic 50 being nerfed like this is actually a good thing: quickscoping is much harder than using a regular gun and doing it on mobile is even harder than on console. it takes a lot more skill than using an AR, SMG, LMG, or shotgun.

So theres this "Lunar Treasure" event on the Garena server that supposedly let players have a chance to win the AK117-YEAR OF THE RAT skin. To get it, players must collect 5 GOLD COINS from the draw which has a probability of 10.8% per draw as stated in the rules and regulations.

Yall must be thinking wow this is the best shit ever to win an EPIC WEAPON right? (To add on to this, they even gave a free draw everyday and also the chance to trade 3 unwanted items from the draw for 1 extra free draw lol) NO MORE CRATES OPENING WITH 1% CHANCE WOW?

BUT NOPE NOPE NOPE. NEVER HAPPENING AS IT TURNS OUT LOL. So I was at the last gold coin when this happened. After like around TWO HUNDRED DRAWS (idek anymore), there was 0 gold coins. I LITERALLY COULD NOT GET ANY. I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT. THIS WAS IMPOSSIBLE. JUST HOW HARD COULD IT BE TO GET 1 MORE FREAKING COIN???

So I did the math LOL. Given all the draws are independent and the probability of getting a gold coin as 0.108, this would give us a binomial distribution with 200 trials. Let X be the number of successes in getting a gold coin. So X~Bin(200,0.108).
Hence to get AT LEAST 1 single gold coin, the probability is P(X>=1)>0.999999. (Someone kindly check on my math?)
And from this probability, u would think that its guaranteed. BUT NOPE. ITS ACTUALLY 0% INSTEAD OF 99.9999% LOL.
Perhaps the probability decreases everytime u get a coin? The rules and regulations clearly states NOTHING. But honestly, idek anymore...

TLDR: CODM events are such a scam no matter how nice they may seem. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT FALL INTO THEIR TRAP. Took me this to realise :"))) Oh wells guess there goes my money...

When I cancle the speed reduction the events came back insantly

Making a four-man BR team. Suggested loadouts?

Looking for additional ideas to put together my four man BR team.

Opposed to the ‘run around grabbing whatever guns you like and kill things’, we want a standard approach that yields success the majority of the time.

Loadout 1: Sniper/AR

Loadout 2: Sniper/AR

Loadout 3:AR/Launcher

Loadout 4: Sniper/Shotgun

The base strategy will be to land around the edge of the map sharing gear and securing a chopper. Ex., take over every building in Overgrown by landing in ore-selected buildings to let the rest of our team know if an enemy squad is there.

Once taken over the town, we will have most of our basic gear. Then we will move as a group via chopper (or rarely, on foot or vehicle) to take over a chip terminal. After that, we will take high vantage points to snipe or clear another city.

There are strategic attacks we will have such as 3-man dove bombing out of the chopper on stray targets. And a method of clearing towns which will be 2 snipers on a hill and two enter the town clearing buildings.

The strategy is still in development and practice. Any suggestions are welcome. We are new to this and still trying to get the hang, but it is getting us to the top place very often.

New attachments needed DESPERATELY.

They need to add a riot shield to the game as a score streak and you can use it with a pistol. There is also a need for more attachments, there isnt any depth with the attachments. All the setups are the same fore grip, red sight,  and very few variation they need to add more variations like in modern warfare it getting boring and annoying. Add immediately.

PSA: Avoid these steps when changing devices so you don't risk losing your codm account.

I got a new phone. Cleaned out my old phone... extremely well, I thought. I Removed ALL accounts deleted all apps including Facebook and codm, cleaned message and personal data, cleared cashe etc. To clarify, I did not factory reset. I do not know if upon a true factory reset if this problem would still exist.

I gave my old phone to a friend back in season 2. He did not play codm back then. Fast forward to 2 days ago (season 3 ofc). My friend downloaded codm to play, finally. After installation codm actually logged into my account when he clicked guest... Even still linked to FB. I did not unlink on facebook's website since I signed into FB on my new device (later making a cod mobile account).

Thankfully my friend is a bro and the actual reason I did not do a full factory reset(I was tryna save him some data with system updates as he doesn't have unlimited in his house) Stupid, I know. I was still extremely surprised and want to:

  1. Notify the community. I hope no one follows or followed the step I did, possibly leading to the loss of a valuable account.

  2. Confim if anyone knows if a true factory reset would have prevented this, if not what would have?

I don't want to report this as a bug since I may not have followed the proper device discard method.

I have an idea... Now this might sound crazy but just bear with me ok.
How about..... If... Instead of adding new maps and putting in yet more scammy scin spins why don't you actually try and fix the crashing issues that are always brought up.
Just played 5 games, in every game the app crashed, hell in one of the games it crashed twice costing me the match. I know I'm not the only one experienceing these issues.
There's been crashing issues since day 1 (crashing on the winners screen, in BR the game crashing when you look down your scope etc..) and it just feels like nothing has been done, especially when it seems the spins are prioritised over bug fixes now and TBH I'm nearly ready to leave the game fully. Been playing since day 1 but it's getting to the point I can't play a single game without experience a crash now.
Not going to spend money or put my effort into a game that just takes away those rewards .

A: No this post wasn't designed to cause controversy or stir up hate or anything I'm just genuinely annoyed. I wanted to post this here so COD:Mobile might actually see this and try to do something about their game

B:Before anyone says it's my phone or something I have the same phone as Parker (Razor Phone 2). I can run most games on the highest settings without any issues, COD:Mobile is the only game these issues arise in and trust me when I say that I play a lot of BR games.

My ideas for the next update

Hey people, i know this is too early to discuss, but i really like to see a bunch of new content for the next season/update

First things first, they need to make a new level recap, to 200 or 250. With prestige level and Gold and Diamond camos which can be earned by playing, not paying.

I'm so done with this game!

I played the lucky draw and spent 1200cp and all I got is stupid stuff. I'm talking about the Valentine's draw. I was hoping to get the S36 Phobos or the new Battery skin. I got neither. What's the point of the draw if you're gonna give the good stuff at the last draw with a much higher price? I calculated that you would at least need to spend 4000cp more to get the S36 and the new skin. That's just loot. Who's gonna pay so much for a stupid skin? I could just buy a COD PC title with that money and enjoy it on my laptop. Damn the lucky draw!!!

Why do tomahawks, trip mines, etc, despawn immediately but frag’s not?

I still find this very annoying.
So whenever someone throws a frag at me when I kill them, the frag still remains in the game.
Yet whenever I use any of the other equipment it immediately gets destroyed when I die.

I haven’t played COD on PS4 for a long time now so I can’t remember whether or not it’s the same there. But it just makes no sense to keep the grenades but not other equipment.

And if this is the way to be, then at least let the trip mines, etc, remain in-game until you respawn..

Some bugs on Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro with Android 10

Hi,

I have never had any problems with CoD Mobile on Huawei P20 Lite with Android 9, but now with Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro and Android 10 I have several issues in Battle Royal mode during first 5 days.

  1. black screen (but I still heard sound, game was still running), so I couldn't play anymore and had to turn off the app. It happens about every 5th game - this is most annoying.

  2. using skill with Ninja makes sometimes a 2-second lag (only in match, not in pre-match) or I could no longer use weapons after using the hook (only granades), I still had the hook on (it happend once).

With multiplayer there is no problem at all. Have anybody similar issue? Thanks.

Add night mode to CODM

Dear devs I request you to add a “Night Mode” to CODM

In the night mode as the name suggests it would be night time those green goggles and laser will come to play and please change the colour of enemy tags from red to bright green when goggles are on(no colour otherwise) or remove them all together.
This gameplay will be extra tough as well as will bring a new life to the somewhat cooling down gameplay of CODM.

CODM keeps glitching for me.

Anyone else experiencing the no guns glitch? Every now and then i’ll load up the game and jump straight into an MP match and suddenly my weapons and fire buttons aren’t there? I also can’t see anyone on my team just the enemies and it doesn’t fix after I die :/ i’ve reported it to the Tencent team multiple times but it still hasn’t been fixed.

I've played for couple of Months now . I'm enjoying it so far , except when you Lag and get Warped back 🙄

First of all i notice you can farm KDA , Have a bad game ? Just quit game and you don't have to worry about dropping KDA . I generally Don't Care about KDA as it doesn't show how good of a player you are . It's just for "Flexing" 🥱

Secondly , teammates... yes i know , not sure if they're bots or player but i've convince myself that as kids nowadays get mobile device at a very young age , this might be their first game .🥴 Yikes

Also, have they buffed the icr-1, and LK-24, or is it because i become a better player after downing a couple beers? Gotta try other shitty guns to try to climb ranks😂. Seriously, make the icr-1 a better weapon. I get that the M4 is for beginners, and is the way it is, bit either buff the icr up, or give us the MOW or HBR.

Landing at countdown

I remarked more and more players are landing at countdown. Me and my friends saw a squad near us at countdown and by the time we landed we stole the medic loot boxes, a chopper and crashed the other two choppers before running away without killing them. The zone was at docks. It was really funny seeing “(insertplayername) died out of the zone”

Let's help each other.

If there is ANYONE in here who feels the rank pain like me, please let me add you as a friend and let's play together. I am not the best COD player, but i am tired of matching with people who play COD only for kills.

I have been stuck on PRO IV for almost 2 weeks now. The game keeps matching me with people who:

- Camp on Domination while LOOSING...
- Guys that are 2/15 on DeathMatch
- Matches me up with Veteran while my opponets have Master.
- Fn split up on Search & Destroy while enemy teams stick together and rip us apart 1 by 1.

My team luck is stupid. My team has given so many leads this past week. I am saying it again, i am definitely not the best player, but i at least know what to do. I am trying so hard to go up. 4 wins, 13 losses because i play with people who have no idea what they are doing. I seriously don't get it. How are they reaching PRO...

How do the weapons compare in BR and MP?

I realized the other day that I just assume the values are the same between the two game modes. But are they? Is the XPR almost identical to EBR, only insignificantly less precise and faster between two bullets? Because Type 25 and M4 seem to be identical during game play to give an example.

Request: I need a way to classify people in the friend list!

I do not add people on my friend list, unless I know them in real life. But I often get requests and usually I accept them. The thing is I used to play only MP and now I play mostly BR. And I am aware that it can be very annoying to ask a MP player to come to BR or the way around. Could you please bring to the flat list some way to differentiating people? I'd like to have them also separated as good or mediocre players. It's easy when they are 5 in all, but it gets out of hand quickly.

FMJ Attachment question

CodMobile BR Camo Weapon Glitch?

Idk exactly how this happens, sometimes its after dying or simply reconnecting to the wifi but I've notice that sometimes my weapon camo will just change to a camo I don't even have unlocked..Like the Blue & Yellow M4LMG that you get for buying so many CPs from crates has one appeared to switch over my Black/Gold M4LMG has anyone else had this happened before? Somehow lost accuracy with controllers

I play on a new iPad 12.9 Pro, and prior to a couple weeks before the release of S3, the Xbox One controller I had just picked up was very smooth and felt like I was playing a console. The accuracy was fantastic, but something happened, and perhaps it is specific corruption on my device, but the joystick now plays similar to a D-Pad. It will not move smoothly most of the time and just jumps in large movements instead, making it near impossible to aim any longer. I hadn’t changed my sensitivity settings to cause an issue, but since I have tried many combinations and nothing has resolved it. I bought a second Xbox One, and a PS4 dual shock controller, and both exhibit the exact same behavior.
Specifically, if I press the right thumb stick slowly to the right, it will pan smoothly, but if I pan to the left, there is a dead zone for quite a bit, and then a sudden jump. This happens in all directions when I use a sniper rifle and I can no longer aim.
Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

If I delete the game, will I lose all progress? I’m considering perhaps deleting and reinstalling to see if that helps at all. I’m also not certain if it works on the iPhone and is local to the iPad.

Some random tips for working as a team in high tier ranked

I'm not a pro player or anything but I'm a pretty sweaty tryhard (reached legendary a week into the season with >2 kd) so I thought I'd share some random tips.

General:

  • Have one person run alert because the perk gives the location of enemies on everyone's minimap for some reason. This sacrifices their dead silent perk so give it to a sniper or someone who plays slower.
  • Peeker's advantage is huge in this game because of low tick servers. Basically the person who peeks out has an advantage over the one holding an angle because the peeker will see the holder first. Use this to your benefit by being the one jumping around corners instead of waiting for the other guy to jump you.

S&D:

  • Have your team throw grenades on one site to fake going there, then rush the other (usually works best when you've already rushed that site before).
  • If the other team is rushing, have your team camp. The enemy usually won't rush as a unit and you will get easy picks.
  • If the other team is camping, the counter is to have your whole team rush a bomb site as a 5-man. You will overwhelm the 1 or 2 people covering that site and get position. A good example is to rush A site on Summit as a 5-man if the other team is camping on defense.
  • In general, never have more than 2 snipers except for maybe Scrapyard or Crossfire.
  • Try to move with teammates so you can trade them out (if one guy dies, he will get the enemy low so you can slide in and get the kill). This results in a 1 for 1 trade instead of 1 kill for the enemy with nothing in return.
  • Another advantage of covering each other is that you will win more fights. Think about it: If an enemy peeks into two people, that pair will both be shooting him vs the one enemy. Effectively they will have twice the DPS.
  • For these reasons, in a 2v1/2v2/2v3, the pair should stay close enough to trade each other out. That way, in a 2v1 for example, you will actually have a 2v1 fight instead of two isolated 1v1s, which is typically how clutches happen by the other team.

Can we get the servers back to the way they were in season one?

Im gonna try keep as much of my frustration and temporary hatred out of this post as I can but no promises.

I remember back in season one where we would shoot at someone or run around the corner, and the server would update that as fast as our oing could get it to the servers, but now we're in season 3, and fuck all that.

I say this, because I played with a ping of 250 back in season 1, and now I'm down to 90 ping, roughly, great upgrade, you'd think I woukd play even better right?

guess not. I admit I'm not the best of players before you trolls start commenting 'git gud' and shit like that, except when I look at all gameplay footage, what I am shown doing, is 3 seconds behind what I'm actually doing, or show me doing absolutely nothing at all

for example, i went into casual SnD, got my favourite by15 class out and was ready to so some damage. I would run for the first 5 seconds with my tactical out for extra speed, and round the corner on 2 unsuspecting players camping in a small area, faced away from me. I would blast away and instantly get lazed down. without a single kill. How strange, I thought, so i watched the killcam, and it showed me just standing there doing jack shit.

another example was i was playing on scrap, and I ran around that small tower in the back corner by bomb site A, because i could hear an enemy taking potshots with an M4. I blasted away with my type 25 only to once again die randomly. The kill cam showed me rounding the corner and runnung towards him as ge turned around, but apparently he gunned me down before i ever shot at all.

I could give many examples, but I came here to rant, not right a book series.

Cheater over abussing his aimbot and wallhack.

This person is a 100% cheater: using wall hack and aimbot. I dont confuse easly with any pro players and cheaters. I my self playing br everyday. legendary every seasons and top 10 on the global br squad leaderboarder list. I have my recent 27wins in row too, and a 1.7k avg dmg each game. this guy over abussing aimbot and wall hack in this very br match. he killed me twice odd ways. so I was spectating my team mates and realize how he constant shotting from very far away at my team. exact where they standing lucky the wall wasnt penetable. I told them try to move to different location. and spot on this cheater keep spray his bullets even inside a house where its so hard to predict where they are. even this cheaters team mate rush in and didnt know where we are. I got revive and Im running behind a wall where he kept hitting me with the sniper behind a wall, even Im try my hardest slide and dodge. I changed my position and hide inside a house and he starts to wall bang me.

How to fix Bluetooth headphones?

So I'm using Bose wireless Bluetooth headphones to play CODM on my Galaxy Note 10+ and notice there is like a 1-2 second delay of audio. This can be really confusing as listening to enemy footsteps and slides are important to locating an emeny. Is there any way to fix this? I really don't want to use regular wired headphones 😫

My team was losing 40-42 and the sky was finally clear. Called in a crate, surprisingly got a VTOL. As soon as I’m in the sky, guns down, my game says reconnecting. Then it crashes. I come back, score is 40-50, defeat. Why does this happen.

Tips for those grinding for merc 5 yellow snake!

Hey if you are grinding merc 5, make sure you get in top 10 and GET A LOT OF KILLS. KILLS DO MATTER, 1 kills = 2 points (i have tested it), if you risk getting 10-15 kills, you can get extra 20 to 30 points! And if you win (1st place) + 10-15 kills, you are gonna get 40+ points EVEN IN MASTER. Go for kills.

Anyone else's screen goes black?

Sometimes my screen just goes completely black and I have to reconnect. I am playing on OnePlus 6T. Game is always smooth and until last community update I had no issues whatsoever.

It happens 5/6 BR games and happens about 1/6 MP games. It will randomly go black, still can hear sounds but not open menu. Sometimes tapping on fire (I have no HUD just muscle memory) still produces the sound.

Is CoDM limiting desirable items to the .0001%

The Real Problems.

Call of Duty Mobile may just be one of the most important releases in Activision's game library. Giving the oppertunity to play your favorite CoD maps, like Nuketown and Scrapyard while on the go is a huge step towards Activision's sucess. But that's not saying the game doesn't have it's flaws. The main problem is weapons and Character/Weapon Skins being sealed behind a MASSIVE pay2obtain barrier. Many players aren't satisfied that skins like "Dream Crystal," "Lava," and "Dark Matter," characters like "Ghost "Plasma,"" "Captain Price," and "Gaz," and weapons like the "Man-o-War," "Pharo," "NA-45," and "HBRa3" are locked behind a P2O barrier. This can encourage hacking and using modded accounts to obtain these exclusive skins, which can lead to a massive ban wave. There are also many regional price gaps which is unexceptable. Having to pay $20 for 10 crates while someone in Asia gets to spend $5 american, you think that's reasonable?! Many youtubers like iFerg and JHCgaming have spent upwards of $300 dollars every 3 weeks for you game CoDM Devs! You think the rest of us have that amount of money?! This is preventing the majority of your playerbase from obtaining these desirable items. Look at Fortnite, they allow players to obtain some desirable items for a reasonable price from $5-$20. That's how Fortnite has profited.

How to fix this.

The P2O barrier needs to be lowered. The Devs you may have lowered the cost of your Epic item lucky draw from 23000+ CP to 13000 CP. The solution: REDUCE IT AGAIN! If we are only getting a chance to obtain the 2 Epic/Legendary skins, we don't want to spend upwards of $150 and end up with the 2 Best items still unobtained. Another thing to fix is the Payed Loot Crates. Some countries have banned these from games.

There's so many guns, lethals they could add to the game

They could add so many basic options to this game. Imho probably minimal coding because there's a foundation on the previous COD guns and whatnot.

Various lethals to scorestreaks to secondary guns. So much they could add to this game from previous CODs.

I hope we can get a huge update to stuff like this. We are at the point now where people are bored with guns. The desire for gun skins now isn't like what it was Season 1-2.

There shouldn't be 3-5 guns everyone uses 99% of the time either. If they aren't going to add guns they need to buff the other stuff correctly. Real buffs where people will choose them over the current Meta.
