How to improve ping in game?

Hi,
Playing around Legendary rank, I seem to lose a good chunk of gun fights mainly because of having high ping. The average ping for me hovers around 70-80ms going as high as 110 at times. Sometimes I even lag, and I have to put an entire magazine (30 bullets) into the enemy to kill them.

It's ridiculous and quite frustrating. Is there any way to improve ping in game? I'm using a firewall app to block internet access to apps which run in background and take bandwidth.

For testing out the ping issue, my friend and I went into a private server and I got owned most of the close game fights simply because of ping. Playing on his device, I do much better and my reactions seem to be much quicker. He has avg ping of 40-47ms.

Is there any way to improve piny issue to ping rather than device or skill issue. My device can handle very high graphics and max fps so device doesn't seem to be at fault.

I think free skins could be better, the best ones you have to pay for. I may be looking boring but I wish I had more opportunities to win a skin that I like to play. For me the Christmas ones were the ugliest by far.

Many issues after upgrade

I am part of some COD Mobile groups here in Brazil, and a lot of people (including me) are having a lot of crash issues after the upgrade.

Some in BR and others (me) in Multiplayer, my problem is when I die in a match and I'm reborn, sometimes my game crashes for about 5 - 8 seconds and only then is reborn. And I realized that it is not a mobile problem, even with graphics at least it happens and before it did not happen. They have to fix it.

Was the striker nerfed in battle royale?

Yesterday I was playing my first round of br after the update and picked up my trusty striker like the asshole I am. I then ran into an enemy and proceeded to spray him with shotgun pellets but to my surprise he didn’t die. Even after I downed him it took several shots to actually kill him. Then the same happened with the next enemy. It just seems like the striker is way weaker than before and it takes way more shots to down them.

But I can’t find anything about this in the patch notes.

Anyone else experiencing this or did I just get some really bad luck with my shots?

Here’s a Look at the Dark Matter ICR vs F2P ICR (Recoil Pattern)

P2L vs F2L

This is a 20 shot recoil pattern, I did each test twice. Not the best, but it should be good enough to see any noticeable differences.

They are extremely similar in my tests. Idk if it gets worse after 20 shots however. Hawksnest is gonna have to test that one.

I will say that if you see this and think the F2P ICR is worse without grip, you’d have to also admit that it’s better with grip vs the Dark Matter.

Best I can say is use a grip on the ICR and it’ll be fine. If you don’t want to use the grip, then understand that you have a shit gun, regardless of which version you have. Even the Dark Matter is kinda shit long range without burst firing it and no grip.

Lastly, to dispel any rumors, the ICR and M4 both take 5 body shots to kill, 4 shots if 1 hits the head, that’s close range.

The ICR is a 6 shot after 30M, while the M4 is a 6 shot after 38m. However I did not get around to testing the range on the F2P ICR to see if it’s any different from the Dark Matter (it might be worse) but as of now the Range Increase Perk on the Dark Matter still has it like 20% less range than the standard M4. So the F2P one is either equal or worse than that.

TLDR- use a grip on the ICR, and use the M4 over the ICR or accept that you are using the worst AR in the game.

Epic perks are way better than legendary ones !

Anyone can see that they made a useless perks to legendaries because of it got a death animation while the epic weapons got a better and more useful perks ? like the epic and legendary ak117 , what is good about getting extra ammos when kill someone ? why it doesn't get the same range perk as the epic one ?

Unpopular opinion on snipers

No scope is easier compared to Tactical Scope, especially if you're camping. I used to have the Tactical Scope equipped for any of the snipers, but seeing the flak it received here, I decided to try them with no scope. IMO it definitely gives a much clearer view of the target, thus giving me easy kills. I don't get the "challenging" part of it, as claimed by some people here.

I also like the update on dlq, where it shoots upon tapping the fire button. I feel like it's much easier since you don't always have to keep a finger on the button.

But then again, everyone has their own play style so you do you boo

Season 3 Update Review.

Things i noticed with this update :

  1. Sounds got tweaked and are noticeably better than before.
  2. SMRS got nerfed but can still one shoot scorestreaks.
  3. Graphics have been refined and the game looks way better even in low settings.
  4. MSMC got nerfed pretty hard and it just doesn’t feel the same as before.
  5. Ranking system got tweaked too and is quite similar to season 1. Wins in high ranks only gave me 12-20 points today.
  6. You can’t see enemies ranks on ranked until match is over which is in my opinion a stupid move.
  7. The sound added after dying is annoying.
  8. New interface looks nice and it seems that the friends list bug got finally fixed.
  9. Sliding and jumping is way more smoother now,love it.
  10. Dunno why but quick scoping with snipers is so weird now,it got slower,like significantly.
  11. Store updated with new stuff but was expecting more.
  12. Sparrow got a big nerf,reduced range,damage,and energy used after each shot. It was pretty overpowered so this nerf is welcome.
  13. Sometimes you get a quick black screen after matching with a team in ranked.

The game is really lagging! Really!

So as usual S3 update has been released & the game has started to lag. I died more than 50% time due to lag. Basically the lag is happening during close range fight, whenever I started to shoot enemies most of the time I died due to lag. Also killcam causes lag to the game, whenever I double tap to skip the killcam, it's not skip able right at that moment, after double tap there's a delay and lag is happening at time also. And in warfare mode, oh! Boi!! There's so much lag that I can't even move properly. Please fix this issues Activision, Tencent. It's degrading the gameplay experience.

Edit : I have good internet connection, so it's not happening due to internet. It's in-game problem.

Why you SHOULD’NT rank once Season 3 restarts...

As Season 3 begins, your rank will reset and according to your Season 2 rank, you will be placed in a new rank. However, once this happens, you SHOULDN’T start grinding immediately.

Why? Well this is because you’re more likely to match up with players who were previous Legendary. These guys, wanting to go back to Legendary, will start the grind the day itself. This means that you’re more likely to play against a Legendary player compared to normal days.

Let yourself rest a few days before you start your grind so you can match up with people from your rank and easily rank up.

Have fun in the new season!!

[Gameloop] Game is unplayable

This happens every second match. I played Ranked this time. All the people in the lobby hated on me and wanted to report me. Get this fixed ASAP. I couldn't see, couldn't shoot. Only the HUD was working. I tried to apologize to everyone in the lobby but I guess they didn't believe me.

I am so depressed, I lost EVERYTHING

I really liked this game, unfortunately I spent a lot of money and I even bought the first legionary AK 117. I had lvl 138 and a ton of skins, finished season 2 pass + had Pro 1. Then one day. I noticed that my Facebook password was changed, and the email. Well, my FB was hacked and I could not log back in. Then it dawned on me that my CODM account is connected. I was able to log into my game, but only because it had saved my FB info. I knew that once S3 started I would be logged out for ever! Over ONE HUNDRED STUPID dollars spent on this game. I’m sooo stupid. Please call me a looser. I’m so sad. I lost everything I grinded for just because my stupid FB was hacked. I’m not playing anymore. I’m sorry for the attitude, I just needed to release the anger.

Trickster bug or nerf?

Since the update I noticed that the burst of speed when activating trickster has been significantly reduced in time. It also doesn’t change your look(glacier look) about 50% of the time. This change makes it almost unusable and useless. I didn’t see any pending changes in the patch notes, which is why I think this is a bug. Has anyone else been experiencing this?

The secret of how COD gives you points in Ranked MP

I will give my explanation here but if youre lazy just scroll all the way down for my TLDR

Well, to specify its more of a speculation but I feel that almost anyone who has played Ranked MP as much as I have would have figured this out.

First an introduction to myself, Im a Legendary player who's played well over 400 ranked matches this season alone and 200+ in season 1 so I feel that as an experienced player, my point may be a bit more reliable.

In the introduction of Season 2, CODM had re-adjusted the mechanics of the point system in Ranked MP so it would be much easier to climb to higher ranks. I was stuck in Pro 1-2 during Season 1 and only gained about 10-20 points each game that I won while in Season 2 I could consistently 20-30 each game.

This could be due to the adjustments they made to the point system but I feel that its something else. My skill in Season 1 compared to Season 2 has a huge difference. I was barely helping my team and dying constantly in Season 1 while in Season 2, 90% of the ranked matches I went into I was able to get at least top 3 and I didnt die as much.

You may notice that in domination, you may not gain as much points as lets say, team deathmatch. The amount of point awarded to you is neither based on how long the game was nor the amount of kills you have (well kinda)

In fact ladies and gentlemen, it is your K/D ratio or Kill/Death ratio for those newer players. It is a number that you get when you divide the number of kills you have with the number of deaths you have. For example, if you have 20 kills and 10 deaths, your kd ratio is 2.0 (Do keep in mind that your assist do not count in your kd ratio)

Domination (especially in higher ranks) is makes you more death prone as 10 people fight to take control over a small ass capture area. Since you die more, your KD ratio will decrease.

If you kill a lot of people but die a lot as well, you arent going to get as much points as you think.

Why does my game work on residential wifi but not public wifi?

Title. The game opens and loads for me really quickly at home and our internet is nothing crazy. But at school on the private student or open guest wifi, the game gets stuck "checking game version." I've deleted and reinstalled the game, restarted my phone, and cleared the app cache. Nothing has made it work yet. Any advice or am I SOL?

I have large gaps at school in between classes so I've got the time to play, that isn't an issue.

CODDIT Clan and why everyone was kicked

Hello so I’m a Vice Master in the clan called CODDIT which was supposed to be a clan specially for the users of the CODM subreddit. Yesterday morning I came online and found that every member (except for me and the Clan Master) had been kicked. The other Vice Master thought it would be ‘funny’ to kick all of our members and then leave the clan himself. How do you guys play with the shotgun? Because I realized that when you are playing with a shotgun there is no button for aiming down the sights and shooting. Do you guys know what I'm talking about? You cant press that button that allows you to aim and shoot at the same time, you have to aim then shoot when using a shotgun or you just hip fire.

The accuracy is supposed to be much higher than the AK117, yet I can barely hit on target no matter how close range. The spread is so large.

The AK117 even after being nerfed for accuracy is still MUCH more accurate!

Anyone else having to carry in Ranked every match?

I didn't really "grind" ranked this season, though I play because it's fun to go against real players. However, I'm in pro rank and literally every match I'm the best player on my team and my team is always going negative and we lose. I pursue the objectives, I try my best, but my teammates are just subpar.

It feels like I'm purposefully getting matched with bottom brass players in order to "balance" the game.

I just feel like the game is using bad players as an anchor on decent players in matchmaking; then placing them against regular teams in some attempt to balance matches. I've seen it done to other players before – where only one guy is going positive on the losing team. Does any other solo players feel this?

Have Tencent developers ever seen a woman? Like, seriously.

First of all, every starter character is male. Okay, that's reasonable considering most of the player base is male. It shouldn't have been too hard to have included one female character at the game's onset, considering a solid portion of the playerbase is female.

Then, we have the Outrider. Holy shit. Everybody's been talking about those eyes. Wow. Why do Gaz, Alex Mason, etc have normal eyes but Tencent royally screws up Outrider's eyes?

This can be argued to be an act of disrespect. Tencent screws up a female face, leading to mass ridicule from the playerbase. One free female skin, and it's literal trash. Why were designers so oblivious to it's obvious flaws? Did they not give the same amount of care to designing this model? Clearly the male skins have been labored over, but the Outrider skin was created in a hurry.

Tencent has created a very ugly character that had so much promise, creating sexist vitriol from it's players, and needs to do better. Amend the skin in S3. And please, Tencent, for the love of god. Look at a woman while you're at it.

Couple of questions from someone new to gaming:

I've never owned a console before. But love COD mobile! Can anyone help answer some newbie questions?

  1. I play with my brothers xbox controller on my ipad, everything works great, but bluetooth connection gets lost everytime I go out of the game. Is this a common problem? Do I just have to reset the bluetooth connection every time?
  2. What's the best way to find groups/teams to join and play with?
  3. What are the point of the " share codes" that people are spamming?
  4. I get the laptop bomb and the drone bomb but what is the third thing with the radio controller? Does it just jam the other teams radar?

Ranked is gonna be a blast to grind in S3 /s

Master 4 now, so with the new ranked scoring system - if I finish a match with K/D somewhere around 1-1.5, it'll reward or deduct roughly the same amount of points depending on whether I win or lose. So if I win one game with 1.5KD and then lose the next with similar KD I'm back at square one. If you do even worse that that those points gonna go bye bye real quick lol

Checked out friends' games and this scoring seems to be consistent from high pro up to legendary. Fun shit

The ICR and AK47 are not the only ones with different recoil patterns, BK57 too.

After getting the bk57 Murdi Gas skin from the purchase promo, I de I to try but felt like it has a different recoil compared to the Balloons one.

as you can in the pic, Balloons (pic On the top) has better recoiled than Murdi Gas (pic bellow).

is not that noticeable but definitely the new one kicks a little more than the other variant.

Please for the love of all, limit the use of this new button!!

Some people are just spamming it none stop no matter what the situation is.
I'm already clearly running straight for it or clearing 10+ enemies forst between me and the dogtags, some people just keep hitting it. It's so annoying when you actually have to focus on enemy sounds and taking them down first.

Something like a 20 second cool down would be nice or even better getting a button to tell you are on the way or to shut up.

All around the game just seems to play super clunky since the update, but my worst experience is with the new map. I feel almost like there's a framerate issue or tick rate just sucks. Weapon draw from hip to ads seems 2 seconds behind. Just wondering if I'm the only one seeing this issue.

Changes in Warfare

Problems

  1. Safe zone

Appears too fast and small.This is because if you land early and the Safe Zone appears randomly on the other side of the map (which appear significantly faster and smaller), you barely have time to get to the other side and get decent supplies

Solution

So many times I have to literally run to the other side of the map cuz there isn't a vehicle in sight. I think in one of my games, 10 ppl died due to not finding a damn vehicle. Just add more vehicles or more crates so we can plan ahead and not run around in buildings looking for a weapon.

  1. Med Kitz are useless

They take too long too use and infinite respawns makes Med Kitz not as viable. Make them instant or just remove them.

  1. Squads are pointless

Every one is on the same team, why should I be forced to another class if one my dead weight teammates rage quits and disconnects midway?

  1. Suicides or mutiny should not contribute to score

Look I was just on a team where some asshole on our team killed a comrade's helicopter and killed 4 ppl and the opposing team got 4+ score on their. Next there are some idiots that go beyond the danger zone and commit suicide, why should these scores be added?

Also death by Airdrop should just be removed. This is just stupid. It is so chaotic in battle, you can't even play around it.

Why arent we talking about these 3 things...

Guys.

Tencent and Activision are doing a pretty damn good job so far. They seem to be pretty vocal with answering questions on the reddit and their feedback. But not all of it.
They remain silent on 3 pretty major issues, and we should be talking about it. This will take some time to read but holy shit, number 3 will blow your mind. The third point is the one I care most about.

  1. They mentioned that they made improvements to their matchmaking system with the rollout of the s3 update, but they also removed our ability to see our opponent's rank, making it impossible for players to criticize.

  2. They touted major weapon balance changes. But many players agree that they dont see any significant change, people are meming on reddit about how players are still using the same guns! Meanwhile they completely gut the striker in BR mode and dont say a word? It might be worse than the pistols, and I'm not even kidding. It's clear that they are much more focused on developing monetization and their next pay wall loot crate scheme.

  3. The big kicker. Most of us are now aware that there are bots in this game and I'm not referring those first tutorial games. CODM is transparent about the use of bots in it's tutorial. The new player is clearly informed that they must complete several games against AI before multiplayer is unlocked. I'll admit I was shocked after I jumped into my first pvp BR lobby, excited for a real challenge, and won. Even more shocking, most of my friends won their first game too. Lets be honest, that's kinda weird.

For a phone game, we found the controls were surprisingly fluid, and after about a week I felt almost as confident as I felt playing with a controller. But something didnt feel right. In every game I ran into a few players that seemed to get it, but the majority were so braindead that they could get the drop on me, start shooting me first, and still lose the engagement. Is Ranked easier than last Season?

Took a Hiatus from this game cause my new phone can't run CodM properly, but started playing after 1 1/2 months on my old phone. Went Elite II to Pro I in two days. Was a bit rusty, but got back again and was able to clean house fairly quickly. I'd only hypothesize that it was easier because all the Veterans are probably Elites now, and Elites mean nothing skillwise.

Xbox controller not working properly

What a Miserable Experience

The Rapid Fire Mode is just... awful.

Seems like an excuse to help bad players get high streaks, I guess? A mess of VTOLS, which can apparently still highlight you if you are using Blind Eye.

Such fun being spawn killed repeatedly because little Timmy Hid in a corner for 3 kills and got a VTOL.

Got my 3 games in, and never looking back at this ridiculous mode ever again.

Thoroughly enjoying PLAYING COD mobile but HATE trying to deal Activision.
No luck with finding help via Activision as to how unlink. COD account from Xbox account (not able to unlink via Microsoft account).

Zombies Bug

I had experienced a bug where I bled out & lost my secondary gun once i spawned with a token. Then when i tried to buy a wall weapon it replaced my primary gun slot instead of the secondary slot. Bug seems very rare since this is the first time I got it but also very bad for gameplay.

About the Scyte, how fast can it reactivate?

I was playing public match with two buddies and we matched against a full team which I assume was a guild, due the tag on their Nick's (I have it screenshotted cuz so far it was the first time we played a pub full of real players and full tagged team).

Straight to the point: the guy with season 2 Jade skin used the operator Scyte two times in a row: early match, few moments after each team capture each base's flag (score was around 18-20), I killed him while he was aiming my teammate, and then he popped with it again (around 30 points)... I mean, I never seen it happening b4, even when the opposite team had some high skilled player wrecking us.

I don't use this operator cuz my movement sucks. I'm the slow paced one shooting behind covers... That said I came here to ask about this technique 🤔

Anyone ever run into this on Solo BR?

Just got knocked out of a Solo BR match.

Landed in Overgrown, got a quick kill, and heard gunfire nearby. Went to check it out, and was a little confused because I heard footsteps coming from multiple directions.

Saw at least 3 players, all wearing the same Ghost skin, running around and completely ignoring one another. I obviously didn't stand a chance, they all immediately directed their fire at me and I was knocked out 76/100 (You can imagine my frustration as my last match had been a win). I could see them running around after I died, completely ignoring one another and looting.

First off, how bad does one need to be to cheat at Solo BR? Two, would you consider this cheating, as I do(I reported in game)?

Anyone else run into this? Sad that there isn't anything this community can't ruin.

  2. As soon as I landed I couldn’t access any controls other than operator skills....I was just running around like a bot without able to shoot...Only crouch and jump buttons worked... I had to close the app and then re-login to make the game work properly again...

It’s season 3. Time to fix the announcer bug.

Since this game came out the announcer has no clue who’s using what score streaks. If my teammate sends out a chopper it says “Hostile chopper inbound” and “Friendly chopper inbound” when the enemy team sends one out. Somethings it’ll say both even when it’s just someone on my team who got one. I know it’s a minor bug but come on. I know this doesn’t just happen to me because I watch plenty of youtubers and streamers. For what it’s worth I absolutely love season three.

Bk 57 vs S36

I have been playing since a long back with M4 as my best possession but BK-57 felt nice for a change. But recently it feels as if it's accuracy has dropped for medium to long range and with everyone having S36 it's hard to get kills.

Analysis of Scrapeyard (Tips and Tricks for an ez win)
Type of player: Passive

Introduction to map: The map can be split up into three distinct lanes: the two oil tunnels in mid, the warehouse which contains Site A and the two oil tanks at Site B

Tricks:

  1. Use off-angles. In the warehouse, there are many off-angles you can hold, preventing yourself from getting prefired and allowing you to easily hold site
  2. In between the two oil tankers is a small little slit that allows you to see people crossing. Use it to your advantage!
    Tips:
  3. Cut the map into thirds. Treat the two tubes running through mid as one lane because you can easily hold it by strafing
  4. Here’s a list of what your team’s load-out and position should be and why:
    SMG (A)
    Sniper (A)
    Sniper/SMG (Mid)
    SMG (B)
    SMG (B)

The A site is situated in a warehouse, making speed necessary in order to clear it before the opponents rotate. The sniper is used to watch the windows from the opponents spawn as there are angles from there which allow players to observe site

The map is not very big, making speed very essential. With a SMG or Sniper, mid control can be easily taken, psychologically pressuring the opponents. They will be forced to push onto a site before opponents flank, making them more likely to screw up.

In my opinion, B site is much easier to take. You should not face opposition until you reach the 2 oil tankers and by then, you can use the range of your SMG to your advantage.

Conclusion: Due to its small size, speed is of the essence, so use a good spawn to your advantage by creating space for your team to run through.

The XPR-50 Geometry isn’t THAT bad

Had to switch to temporary 4 finger claw to make the best out of the sniper. Tact scope is a must for this one. Went 15-9 in a ranked TDM game and 7-3 in ranked SnD.These were Master V to Legendary players btw. Would of done much better with a Locus or DL but figured it wouldn’t hurt so close to the end of season. The special effect of this gun makes enemy opponents move slower so expect a bunch of assists. As long as you make any of your shots, you won’t be detriment to your team.

You pretty much have to stay mid to long range of course. Close range is possible but you have to stay moving and rely on aim assist.

I didn't get a survival reward

It's really bugging me that I didn't get any rewards or did that ball machine cutscene even play after my friends' survival zombies game. I have around 700k damage done and died just twice or thrice throughout the 15 round game, but even after all this I got nothing. But still I don't really care about the rewards but the fun and memories I've gained instead. Just writing this down because this bug could probably ruin other's fun in a bit of time.

The recent update made controller sensitivity worse. Going back to 2 thumbs for season 3

They fucked up once again. I’m tired of readjusting sensitivity every time the ‘slightly’ change something with updates. No I’m not talking about the ADS issue (never experienced that), and yes I even turned off the ‘improved’ aim assist (which made aiming much worse). Been tinkering with sensitivity settings all day and nothing, still feels super off. It was perfectly fine literally right before the update. I don’t know what it is but I’m sick of having to relearn and readjust to whenever the devs want to botch the controls.

I admit, controller support did grow on me. It made me enjoy BR mode even more, but now I’m gona have to go through it like most especially this season with the great BR rewards.

On the plus side, matchmaking without controllers have significantly improved. Less than 5 seconds for MP matches and no more than 25-30 seconds on Ranked (Master).

There’s no way I’ll make the effort to learn claw (sorry shit just doesn’t look healthy for your hands long term), so I’ll have to make do with two thumb 3D Touch. Aiming is actually easier with thumbs, but controller had much better movement and ADS (scoping). They’re both good in their own right but I guess season 3 will be full thumbs for me. Maybe they’ll fix controllers maybe not.

Anyone else on the same boat?

The shield is goddamn underrated

I swear if you're just in a bad situation for example the whole team is in front of you the shield will literally clutch the sh8 out of it. It blinds the enemies, gives you a shield, and gives you extra points of you killed the person that you blinded.

[Dev Request] Please stop moving friend list names around when they come online/enter/exit a match. I've accidentally deleted good friends by tapping delete on the wrong name.

I move my finger towards the trash button and bam, the list gets jumbled. What's worse is that on the delete confirmation dialogue box, these no picture or name of the person you're about to delete. You don't realize what you've done til it's too late.

Stop jumping early in BR

It infuriates me when jump leaders just off the whole team straight away without any thought or care, then half the team go off on there own separate ways meaning you are left as easy pickings. I just managed to achieve master 1 before they reset and I damn near lost it again due to idiocy. I just came out of a match where the whole team was wiped out within the first few mins. Last man left and somehow I managed to come second. Probably thorough hiding and taking out a few people. Died by war machine but at least I protected my rank! STOP JUMPING EARLY AND IF YOU'RE IN A TEAM STAY IN THE TEAM. Soz for the rant 😂

Release to shoot on Arctic .50 and possibly other snipers

Playing around in BR last night with the Arctic .50 Exotic, I noticed you can't hold the fire button down and release to shoot anymore. I didnt test this with other sniper rifles to see if it changed for them.

Why did they do this? Is there any way to change it back? Couldn't find anything in the options for it.

Please remove credits from crates.

I believe that although the crate odds are already shit, the fact that you have a high percentage of getting nearly unusable currency in the crates makes them worse. The credits store is only updated like once a season, and most of the items in it aren't worth buying. I'd be okay with getting an uncommon skin that I'll never use if its from a paid crate, but getting like 100 credits that I'll probably never use for months is like a slap in the face.

King of the Hill Warfare.......

This would be a fun game mode, I think. You jump out, loot up, then the zone shrinks into the middle area with a giant hill and whoever controls the top for the longest amount of time wins. They could add extra helicopters for the people on bottom to fly up, jump and glide down to take control and you can drive turret mounted trucks to the top to try and keep people off. And have air drops too.

I just love this gun. Call me a noob, I don't care. Two or three fast taps and you're out. Especially with its high fire rate, players don't even know what hit them. :D Also the gun sounds are pretty neat, especially a suppressed M21 EBR. The only thing I could wish for COD Mobile would implement is a higher fire rate because, come on, it's a DMR. Slightly nerf damage (-5) to compensate for that.

Whenever I pick up this gun, I'm ready to rock and roll. Love the feel of the gun. High kick, but easy to adjust cuz it's kicking up. Squadwiper, because of the mag size and also high damage. Also, the looks of this gun. How fancy of an LMG this gun is, just perfect. Perhaps damage should be a little higher, let's say make it 70 because... it's Russian. And Russian guns are big and stronk.

Pump-action shot gun, with lethal damage. Love that feeling when your opponent is rushing you and BANG -one shot-, goodnight and see ya later! Very light and fast, the absolute king of close quarter combat.

Honorable mentions:

- DL Q33: the bolt-action mechanism of this gun is what stands out for me, outside of course it's high effectiveness of sniping. Would be a great addition for Battle Royale too, maybe as an air drop weapon.

I'm wonder what the worst one it. In my opinion it's the suppresser since even tho it hides your gun fire, campers always use it and the worse part of the Surpresser is that it lowers your guns range which isn't good for guns with low Firing range.

Why does every map have a camping spot?

Every map we have in the game has a camping spot for snipers. I find it very annoying. There isn't one map where there isn't a camping place. Every time we get a new map people find a new place to camp. Scrapeyard has only been out for a few days and people already found a place to camp with the sniper. I hope when we get cage it doesn't have a lot of places to camp, and since it's a very small map, snipers are kinda useless since snipers are mostly used for long range fights. Also I got a question for the people who constantly camp. Why do you camp?

Unloaded almost a full clip into player before he went down?

In a ranked match a bit ago and was shredding pretty well but the guy who came out on top was really hard to take down. At one point after I started noticing I came up behind him and unloaded nearly a full S36 (75dmg 75rate) into him, nearly point blank, before he went down. Other one-on-one encounters usually had him winning even when I had a significant drop on him. Is there an exploit or armor thing this guy is using? Don’t want to accuse someone of cheating but it was nuts.

Anyone else find there are more issues with the game since the season 3 update

I am not a big fan of season 3 maybe will be skipping and waiting for season 4.

When they sell a skin for a gun they nerf it right away. for instance the striker skin for 2020 come on guys i wanted to enjoy it for a bit but now it's so ridiculously low powered. so in the future i am not going to buy any new skins before an update, matter of fact im thinking about not even buying a skin anymore since it's becoming more and more apparent you nerf the gun when you offer a new skin. dont get me wrong i really like this game but it seems like you are trying to do way too much at one time to get the most bang for the buck but at the same time the game is getting worse and worse. for example, the movement of the player in BR seem to have changed and it took me months to figure out my sensitivity. thanks!

Less points on winning ranked matches.

Anyone else feeling that we are gaining very less points after winning ranked matches in master tier as compared to before update. Before update I always got +18-35 after winning the match. But after update i am only getting +8-12. They said that after update we'll be getting more points for tdm and ranked but that doesn't seem to be the case.

S&D matches now only need 4 points to end the match...

Why would they lengthen TDM and Dom but shorten S&D? I don't often play ranked because I don't find TDM fun and I hate Domination games. The only MP mode that I truly enjoy is S&D due to it's highly competitive nature and slower gameplay. Most of my games are in pubs where I can exclusively play S&D but today I discovered that my favorite game mode was nearly ruined for me with this new update and its rather upsetting. Does anyone else also have an issue with this?

Striker in battle royale

Something about the matchmaking isn't right.

A winning streak often leads right into a losing streak.
Often you'll get put on a bad team full of noobs and bots, just so you lose often while the other team has actual good players and maybe even someone showing off their money via fancy skins and p2w guns (to try to convince you to buy them).

Basically if you lose a match by a big loss or if you carried your team (of bots and noobs) and still lost, then you should stop playing for a few hours or maybe for the day. The system is designed to try to also retain you, not just put you in a p2w match until you quit. So by the time you come back to the game, the system will have most likely reset and you might even get an easy win.

This affects both pub and ranked lobbies. I suspect it might also affect Battle Royale, but that would be a bit differently tweaked perhaps because of how BR works functionally (since nobody has guns at the start).

I'm not the only one who noticed either, I'll post some links below.

EXTRA BONUS! (Something else I spotted in the new update, but wasn't announced.)

As of season 3 update, now you can't even view the enemies teams rank or levels! This means they're trying to hide something, otherwise why would they do it?

Another thing, matchmaking takes longer. Practically there's fewer payers with fancy gear and veterans to match with than players who aren't either, perhaps now they wait a bit to get you an open slot on one of those matches just so you can see how "good" the latest lucky draw gun is or how you really need to spend and buy better guns.

I've even noticed sometimes I join matches already in progress as well. That's not good. The worst affected mode by that would be free for all, since joining late means you are behind everyone else in the race for the kills.

Direct Buy Items

I’m just trying to understand Tencent’s train of thought/reasoning..

Wouldn’t they make so much more money if items were able to be guaranteed at a certain (lower) price rather than a draw that’s a certain (obviously higher) price?

I’m willing to bet most of the money, dare I even say 75% of the profit coming from the game is from battle passes. Because it’s a guarantee of certain items. I don’t even touch the lucky draws, as I’m willing most of us don’t. But if that DL-Q33 Holiday skin was $10-15 flat, I’m sure a lot more people would have bought it. I would have. Wouldn’t you have? I’m curious what y’all think.

Ok so both merc 5 yellow snake and locus yellow snake are gonna be in season 3 ranked.

Merc 5 yellow snake is master 2
Locus yellow snake is pro 2
(Plus i am buying the battle pass which I don’t really care about)

Worrying trends...

Is anyone else scared of where things are headed for pvp games? With each update, the bots become smarter and more realistic. They can recycle the names of real players to seem more real and what's gonna happen when we stop being able to tell the difference?

Once they perfect this shady-ass attempt to retain players, every real player will exist within a comforting bubble of realistic AI that can be manipulated to always be just barely worse than the player. Instead of giving up, they will most likely continue to spend money on a game they suck at.

CoD Mobile suggestions.

When I have Premium Pass and you open crates, I have big chance, that drop Uncommon skins, so what I will have new customization option with stickers aka alternative use graffiti, like sticker and I will have better look on Uncommon skins, example: new Hearts skins with Mad Clown spray.

When you have lot's of Uncommon skins, what you have option on hiding, that you will move skin to backpack and you will hide in active skins in loadout.

This is my suggestion, what we thing, are we want something similar?

I think the top 5 to 10 clans should get a special reward on top of the top 200 clan banner

Whether it’s a skin, gun, spray, another banner etc. I think it would be nice to reward the top 5 or top 10 clans with another reward due to how hard the members had to grind to get those positions . I know the top 200 clans get the golden frame but the top 10 should get a little bonus. Let me know what you all think. Getting and keeping top 10 is a very hard task so getting the same exact reward as top 200 is underwhelming.

Did you even need the S36

In the patch notes for Season 3, it said you guys nerfed the S36. where is the nerf? I used the gun before and after the update and I see no changes. The gun is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too overpowered. And now if we want to see another nerf to it we have to wait until Season 4. Even if the S36 got nerfed, you guys barely nerfed it. With it being Too op I feel like it should get nerfed hard like the SMRS.

Should we be able to buy more attachments with cod credits and cod points?

I feel like we are limited when choosing our attachments. I feel like we should be able to buy our own attachments, like a new sight, an attachment to increase our firing rate, anything so our choice of attachments isn't so little. For one of our first ones we could buy is an attachment to increase AR firing range. Shotguns and SmGs are the only ones to have it. Some ARs we have little firing range like the ICR and M4.

More Transparency

It is obvious highly best to be more open to the community about possible update delays & other issues that the devs at codm may be experiencing, saying "soon" on every response just makes it very vague and the duration could vary so no one has a clear time on when an update or bug fix may drop. I've been experiencing a ping issue as well where my ping will stay on 199ms and I will rubber band alot and basically die no matter how good my wifi or data may be. Many other people have game breaking bugs like these in which we have no choice but to wait months until hopefully our bug is fixed. All I request is just better communication for us die hard fans and to not push us away with a single word or just silence. Thank you ♡

Why reverse the mobile Claw-HUD compared to console?

Can someone explain why all these claw mobile pro-gamers use the left index finger to shoot and the right to zoom? Why would they reverse it compared to console where probably most of them started playing CoD?

I copied Jokesta's layout and played for weeks (t)his way but now I have reversed the buttons to be like on the console and it's imediately way better for me, even after weeks playing the other way.

BR: Cannot shoot, noisy helicopter, missing chip terminal

I currently play COD mobile in emulator as my old Nexus 6P doesn't cut it. I usually play BR with a mate that's on mobile.

For me sometimes when I load the game, 2v2 BR, in pre-match the helicopters are making an awful noise like they are sliding/scraping down a hill. If I jump in one it instantly alerts 'out of control' but its not damaged. Jump out and I can't shoot with a weapon, zoom back out if I zoom in (unless I look in my backpack), use my knife both in pre-match and after entering the game. If I kill gameloop I can usually reopen and rejoin, all good.

Then even more weird, I couldn't see any chip terminals on the map, but my buddy could. We flew to one, he can clearly see it and grab one, I just walk right through it as if its not there, he sees me walk through it.

Emulator bug? Servers?.... Think its time for a Pixel 4!

Meh Battleroyale is really competitive now

I know this because real players want to grind before the season resets,the game is now filled with real players 100/100 ,no bots .Wanted to reach legendary today cause am master 5 but can't because I get killed like half of the game.I really think now is not the best time for me to grind for legendary because it's super hard right now.
So if anyone wants to grind for any ranked match now at the end of this season make sure you play with a really good team,learned it the hard way.

Zombies glitch

So for the past few days I have constantly been encountering a glitch where whenever round ten (on any difficulty hardcore survival and normal) starts the game crashes and kicks me out which has led to multiple deaths and waste of reward chances. I have made sure I had the correct connection and even tried playing alone but it still disconnects. Thought I would report it here.

Petition to increase Combat Axe range!

What were they seriously thinking reducing the combat axe's range? Throwing it feels like throwing a huge rock. If you've played other COD titles, you'd know that combat axes/tomahawks go all the way across the map. And as an avid crossmapper, (one who loves throwing axes across the map to the enemy spawn), this change sucks. Hope they change it eventually.

Account Banned (if only for 3 mins)

I wonder what's up with this.. I was playing domination with my son, and while defending a flag, I got disconnected and suddenly banned. I never thought I'd experience what am seeing in other posts, and yet here I am.

Anyways, the ban is just for 3 mins and I still want to at least have an idea why there was a ban. I am now thinking the system must be tweaked to avoid issues such as this. **Sigh
