The fact of the matter is, while other guns are useable and have their advantages over these guns (mainly snipers, and even then the Arctic could probably see a nerf in ADS time to match the DLQ), these 3 guns are the best guns for basically all engagements.
The MSMC is the best gun to rush with, the S36 is the best gun to camp with, and the Type is the best utility weapon in the game.
And this is what I think they should do about it.
For starters, the MSMC and Type 25 should not be able to kill in 4 bullets.
Think about it. The 2 fastest firing guns in the game kill in the same amount of bullets up close as the slowest firing guns (AK47).
How does that make any sense?
So both of these guns should do a maximum damage of 24, meaning even in spitting range they can’t 4 shot you. This makes the type 25 slightly better than other guns up close, and the MSMC noticeably better, but not kill you faster than you can react better.
This fixes both guns mostly. Maybe both could see a range loss or a recoil increase, but a slight one, akin to what the 117 saw.
Now for the S36, it’s a little more tricky because it’s TTK isn’t wildly different than most guns.
For starters, this guns 4 shot kill range needs to be drastically reduced. It’s current 16m, which is gross. That should be brought down to 5m max.
That isn’t enough tho, it needs either a fire rate nerf, or more recoil. But this is probably the most important gun to nerf because right now it’s not the best gun in the game, but if it was, the game would be way slower and that would suck.
(It’s gonna get a little nerdy here so stay with me).
I think once these guns are needed we will see more variety in the game. All 3 of these guns are in the low to mid .2s when it comes to TTK, whole the vast majority of guns in this game are in the low to mid .3s in TTK.
For example, the AK117, AKS, PDW, they are all in the .32 mark for TTK. Right now close range the MSMC is like .19 and the type .23. After these nerfs the type is .3 and the MSMC .26...
