So I just updated the game and as soon as i jumped into a match the buttons mapping was completely messed up, I googled it to find anybody with the same problem but couldn't find anything useful... Someone else with the same issue or a solution?

Anyone else had the problem where they turn on the hold to aim down sights option and then when you try to ADS it just aims down halfway and goes back to hip fire. I literally can't ADS with these settings for some reason.

Has the ADS changed?

I was playing battle Royale and my ADS was absolutely ridiculous at first it didn’t zoom in when i tapped. Then when i did it didn’t zoom to the area i was amazing at on the player. I haven’t read the full patch notes but i also didn’t hear anything about this. So confused !!

Secret binary code under Bus Station!

Hey guys!
There is a new tunnel under Bus station in BR. We just found a secret crack in the wall that you can crawl through, inside there is a TV with a secret binary code being displayed on it.
Could this be a reference to zombies map transit? please help me decode it :)

I tried to write down the code (there might be mistakes.... im in a rush, please correct me)

My first impressions of zombies

Zombies spawn next to you, so the windows are useless.

Controller didn't work at all and the default controls look horrible.

Zombies take way too many bullets to kill, even on round 1.

Unless some changes happen, I'm probably not going to be playing zombies much because of how janky it feels to play.

What are your thoughts about it?

controller wont work?

Tried to connect my ps4 controller and the buttons are swapped around so that x acts as square and L1 is to fire. R1 and r2 dont do anything and the right stick doesnt work at all. Anybody come across this problem?

Okay, I just used it and what the heck??? It shoots so slow and it takes half a mag to kill somebody. I mean, they said "SLIGHTLY increased the recoil" but they nerfed a whole lot of things about the gun.

BR still crashes.

I updated the game, all is well for the new additions.
But you guys still haven't fixed the BR crashes and freezes.

I'm using a Snapdragon 855 device running Android 10. Its a huge bummer of not being able to play one match without having a crash. Please look into this.

The Chicom feels incredible after the update

I was one of the few who quite liked the Chicom even before the buffs it received in this update. But I’d argue it’s now a worthy competitor to the AKS. The recoil is nearly non existent since it’s a burst fire weapon, and it now kills in a single well aimed burst at close range and maintains it’s accuracy well even when hip firing with the laser attachment. Definitely give the Chicom a try again if you have it unlocked.

New Update: Sensitivity and Maps

Is it just me or is the sensitivity of the game a bit off?. There's something up with the sliding, jumping and just the overall sensitivity seems to be a bit wayward.

Also, what happened to Raid and Takeoff? Those were my favourite maps.

Any recommended adjustments to sensitivity I should make?

I'm impressed with tencent and Activision

I like many people here, (possibly) have been playing day one. Over the past few months, seen a lot of feedback on this app good and bad. My analysis so far especially after the update, has been majority positive. However, I have a few things to bring up.

Controller support - As of right now, it works for me. Although it's a bit buggy with connection issues for me sometimes, I have to say that when it works, it really works (which is 80% of the time for me right now).

Zombies - I thought zombies would be a lot worse honestly when it was announced. I've played a few games of survival mode and I've had a blast. My only gripes with zombies is the massive amount of health and guns being underpowered.

With those issues out of the way, I have a final statement:

Zombies and the various support options could have been much, much worse. For a free to play title that I haven't spent a dime on, tencent and Activision have managed to not mess with what makes COD great (regardless of how much they push micro transactions and loot boxes).

When I registered for the app, I thought it would just be a pubg clone with a cod skin, oh how wrong I was.

TL;DR I know that the new update left a sour taste in people's mouths but the app could have been doomed from the start instead of where it is now.

Edit Clan Bug Latest Update!

Sins the new update i cant edit (kick or promote etc) most clan members...

Only the first 5-6 players on the roster i can edit.....

Lets say nr 15 on the clan roster... you click on the 3 dots behind there name and the edit menu wont pop up to edit.

The 3 dots menu only works for the first few players on the roster.

So i cant kick any inactive players now...

Realy hope they fix this fast!

Got the problem on a s10 plus and tested on Galaxy tab S ...

Zombie Mode is a LIMITED TIME mode??

Okay, i really hope we can get some clarification from COD Mobile official here.
The brand new Activision Blog post, which has also been added in today's Season 2 release post by them, says the following:

When Call of Duty: Mobile launched, it debuted a fast and frenetic Multiplayer and a built-for-mobile Battle Royale experience.

"As of today, a third pillar of the mobile offering is available for a limited time."

Did we really wait all of this time, for just a time limited mode who's gonna be gone in a few days? Seriously?

How to Late Game *Survival Zombies*

BEFORE going into a game, put your best skins on all of your guns as it does more damage, also add attachments to those guns (I use stock, extended mag, long-barrel/quick-draw)

Go to the area where you can buy the PDW and purchase that gun and just circle that area with the PDW as it has tons of ammo and does good damage and it's easy to get more ammo. When circling around remember to jump when you get in swamp water as it is slightly faster than regular walking.

The game will spawn a portion of zombies to a limit, and when you kill more zombies it spawns more keep that in mind. Ex. (20 on map, but 90 zombies left)

If you run out of ammo just lead the zombies near the entrance by the spin trap and once they get there take out your knife (by tapping on the equipped gun) and run across the bridge to the PDW shack for more ammo and quickly leave so you don't get trapped.

Prioritize boss zombies cause they can complicate things.

Be sure to max out all of your Perks and Cooler Bonuses. You'll want to get all the perks and max out your Cooler Bonuses to 10 each (next to the 3 perks there's a 4 slot which can randomly upgrade either of the 3 for like 10000 points).

I prefer using all damage bonuses as I don't die often late game. Also I recommend the invisible coin from the coin machine so if you get surrounded you can use it and just shoot a path through the zombies and escape.

Traps can insta-kill regular zombies I believe but not boss ones, keep that in mind for VERY late rounds.

I use the AK117 as my secondary to the PDW since it easily does the most damage of the wall guns.

Operator Weapons in CoD:MZombies

As suggested by the title, I think that they should allow players to use Operator Weapons in the new zombies game mode, it would make killing bullet sponge enemies a lot more satisfying. I don’t know how they could implement it though, it can be a skill but you have to pull it out of the Mystery first (like Black Ops 3 where you get it from the box and it has a recharging system) or Black ops 4 style where you preset the skill just like you would in Multiplayer and just let it charge until it’s ready to use. Last but not least it can just be a weapon from the box where it has limited ammo and acts as a wonder weapon. What do you guys think?

Sprint button not working with my elite v2 controller?

Hi people, so i basically just tried cod mobile cause i dont have the patience to sweat every game in modern warfare 🤣. But my sprint only works if i have it set to 'push left joystick forward' when its on 'tap joystick' it doesn't work, as i said this controller is like 2 weeks old and works fine. Also i dont see a way to set my controller settings to 'tactical' i have always played cod on tactical since cod 4. Any help would be appreciated thanks

Controller mode needs a deadzone setting (plus a mini review of controller support)

I tried using 3 different controllers to see how they worked: Xbox One, PS4, and Switch Pro Controller. The Pro Controller did not work at all. Connected to my phone but the game didn't even recognize it as a controller. So that one's a bust.

The PS4 controller was cool cause the game recognized the controller as a PS one so all the button prompts changed to show the PS layout (X, O, triangle, square, etc). However all of the buttons were mapped completely wrong. I could only move with the left stick but the right did absolutely nothing so I couldn't look around. The triggers were inverted (a setting that is already available in the game but showed but showed up as off). Triangle which should be switch weapons threw a grenade, square which should be reload ended up pulling up the map, etc.

The only controller that at all worked was the Xbox One controller which almost worked flawlessly. All the buttons were in place, however I first noticed a bit of a latency issue. Nothing too bad. Definitely playable but noticeable. What really was frustrating is that the stocks had no deadzones meaning even at idle the character would either slightly move or slightly turn. Me just lightly tapping the stock would cause small movements. It made adjusting the sensitivity settings impossible. So I will stick to on screen controls until that hopefully gets fixed soon.

Let’s share some opinions about multiplayer after the update

Keep in mind I haven’t played ranked because I like solo playing and I couldn’t find anyone.

But yeah, this update doesn’t seem like it changed up the gun meta much.

The ICR is trash tier, one of the worst DPS in the game, so it’s worthless.

All the nerfed guns are still at the top of their respective class (maybe not best but second) except the UL736. RIP the boi. The S36 should have been hit before you man.

117 is still better than the BK and LK, and I do think the 74U is the best SMG not named the MSMC. Type 25 is still a beast.

My favorite surprises is definitely the chicom being good, like I would genuinely consider putting it over the HG40, and possibly the PDW/Razorback, and the BY15 being usable

Yes, you heard that right, we have a usable shotgun! I guess the striker was usable before but this actually feel right. You get pretty consistent 1 shot kills at close range now which is nice.

As for movement, stuff feels different for sure. I’m getting used to it tho. RIP the snipers tho. I sniped for about 2 minutes and wasn’t a fan. Let me know when it’s back to normal lol.

Anyways, that’s my takeaways of multiplayer since the update. I felt the need to make a post because everyone is hyped about zombies and I personally couldn’t care less about it. Not bashing y’all but MP is more fun for me.

So let’s here it, what’s your guys opinions on multiplayer now?

Secret underground place guide

For hardcore and normal zombie map.

Look for the gears all across the map. It could be on the floor or on a table or cabinet. I got 3 gears in my game and you can use it to repair the elevator in 2nd floor balcony. After i repaired it twice in activates and it will bring you inside the secret tunnel.

I don’t know if the gears spawn randomly but for me its just beside the stairs (the one where you first unlock), the second gear is in the table near the thing where you upgrade the perks you bought. The 3rd gear is in the northwest part of the map.

Keep upgrading your buffs even after they hit lvl5!

So yeah zombies health definitely needs to be reduced, but upgrading your buffs regularly helps a lot.

Remember that after you upgrade all 3 of your buffs to Level 5, you can then spend 4000 points to upgrade one of them again (randomly chosen). This cost rises every few rounds I think.

As long as you do this zombie health should definitely be closer to on console

Need major controller help

I just tried a match for the first time using my PS4 controller... My buttons are all sorts of fucked up. My left stick is normal, I can ADS and fire, but my right stick does nothing. So I cannot look around. Also, even the buttons that are labeled are wrong for me. My Square button changes weapons, my Triangle throws a grenade. My Options button marks a location. The Circle button tries to change my loadout no matter what I'm doing in the match. HELP!

So is that "Limited Time" about... ?

I still haven't found an answer to that "limited time"

Does it refer to maps? To the game modes? Or in full zombie mode? It is assumed that if something is for a limited time it must have a countdown and I do not see any. Does anyone have information about it or something?

Taking the zombie mode after so much waiting would be the stupidest thing of all this year.

Does anyone know if there’s a way to customize your screen when playing with a bluetooth controller? I’d like to turn some of the UI options off like reloading, shooting, jumping etc since they’re not needed when using a controller. Fps and Graphical Presets question

I don't notice a difference between the low and ultra grpahic quality preset (low graphics feels like ultra), and so I'm wondering if this is just me of a bug. I'm playing on the note9 so graphics shouldnt be an issue, but I'd like to set it to low to save battery life. But I'm not sure if I'm saving battery life because the low preset feels like its on ultra.

Also, I dont notice a difference in the low vs Max fps settings in MP matches. The Low fps is the same as max (both buttery smooth) but I'd like to limit the fps to save my battery life. However, this is not the case in BR, I can clearly see a difference in the low vs Max fps, so I feel it may be a bug on the MP side of the game but I'm not sure.

Is it just me or is it a bug that needs adressing?

The "..." option on the member page is a dead button.

Because of this you can't remove people from a clan.

Would hope something this simple will be resolved soon but as many players aren't a clan master they don't notice these things.

Personal Gripes with Zombies Mode

To be clear - I am very thankful for Tencent/TiMi for the work they've done with not only Zombies, but CoD Mobile as a whole. It is a very enjoyable experience overall and no-doubt the best mobile game I have played.

From what I've seen and played, CoD Mobile Zombies has a few balancing issues, and while they do not take away from the experience, it could be improved by addressing them. I'll try to format this post as best as possible and categorize accordingly.

Zombies

  • Health: The algorithm for calculating Zombie Health per Round could use work, the incremental curve is quite steep and once you're past round 8 most of your weapons just appear to do nothing but rack up your Score.
  • Spawning: In later Rounds, Zombies will tend to randomly spawn in the player's Zone without warning, this can lead to a lot of unfair deaths due to building a horde and then suddenly having a Zombie spawn in front of you, pinning you in a corner and resulting in death.
  • Points per Kill: The amount of Points per Kill seem to be off, all non-melee kills will reward the Player 100 Points, and melee kills award 130. Other implementations of Zombies do this differently, with melee kills awarding 130, headshots awarding 100, and every other player-inflicted means (including explosives and body shots and excluding traps) will award 60.

Power-Ups

  • Rate of Duplicates/Frequency: From what I can tell, the order of Power-Ups appears to be random, which can lead to a lot of duplicates or frequent encounters of a certain Power-Up. Usually, Power-Ups follow a rotation, so your only encounter of a duplicate will be the last Power-Up in the rotation and the first. The rotation is random between (Insta-Kill, Double Points, Nuke), with Carpenter being added to the rotation if the total amount of un-repaired Debris is greater than five.
  • Location: Power-Ups spawn close to the ground, not at torso-level like other implementations. This can make it more difficult to spot a Power-Up, as sometimes it wil...

Why Zombie Mode is sh!tty.

  1. The health bar is like the health bar of Yhorm The Giant from DS3

  2. Outta Nowhere Avocados are teleporting in front of your face with a health bar of two Yhorms

  3. You are searching for a mystery box? First of all it isn't mystery. You just get everytime the fucking same weapon. Secondly just stick with the first weapon you can buy on the first wall. All weapons deal like the same amount of damage.

  4. To put in the knive and the haftgrenade in this zombie mode must have been the idea of the new Albert Einstein.

  5. You can't find the lift for the floor downstairs? Well, it's better for you lucky one. The small corridors isn't wide enough for you, three avocados and 20 zombies

  6. Two hour restriction of playtime? Damn, whoever manages it to play this mode for two hours will get a medal from me. I've done virtual suicide in round 21, because I couldn't stick up with the torture of aiming at zombies and while walking backwards nonstop.

Sooo with the new update, if I scroll past the first few members in the clan and try to kick someone from the bottom , the 3 little dots don’t work so the option to kick a member is not popping up ...

Most $$$ spent in a video game

Gonna post this on the gaming subreddit aswell. But on a single game. Whats the most u think u spent on a video game? For microtransactions. Or like those packs like the Juggernaut edition of call of duty etc.

I been playing DC Universe recently and some ppl on there told me they spent 5 digits. And spending $1000 is nothing on that game lol

Game freezes and flashes on the end of a BR match

ok so this new update has completely screwed up the finalization of a BR match. When the match is done and the results are loading, the screen starts flickering and it freezes. It makes it impossible to actually see anything or get your rank points, and you have to force quit the game and start it again. View jerking glitch

A while back, after the initial release of the game, I made a post about a glitch where as I played my view would jerk to the sky and in some cases it would take several attempts to drag my view to look at anything else. It was frequent enough to make the game unplayable but eventually went away on it’s own. I installed the new update(I’m on IOS) and the glitch is back with a vengeance. I have no clue what made it stop the fuse time and would like some help.

Serious clan bug after the update: players from a clan that are listed below the fifth member in the member list of the clan cannot be kicked/promoted because the menu for that action dissappears.

So this is whats going g on:

After the update if you try to kick a clan member thats listed below the 4th player in the member list the "delete button" dissappears.
You press the 3 dots next to the players name and no menu pops up. Ive noticed that the bug is that the drop menu scales outside of the screen and not capped inside. Ive came to realize that after ive tested the pattern that when you press the 3 dots next to the second third and forth player in the top of the list to bring up the delete/promote menu, the menu itself will gradually go down screen as you progress down the players in list. So basically when you reach the fifth-six player in the list and below you wownt see any menu pop because its "outside" of the screen, it doesnt cap in.
This is Serious bug here that must be fixed asap.
Not sure about ios but this happens for me on Android - xiaomi mi 9.

Can any clan masters confirm this on ios and other android devices?

Game Feels Off After Update

Anyone else feel like the game just is slow and clunky after this new update. The gameplay just doesnt feel as smooth and snappy as it did before the update. Also movement and aiming is very jittery. Everything just feels really off.

Controller support

Hi all...having a weird issue with my controller and wondering if anyone else is experiencing it....my right joystick seems to be overly sensitive when moving the view to the right and when I remove my thumb from my right joystick after having moved it to the right, my camera continues to still slightly move that way. I tried it in my Xbox games to see if it was a controller manufacturing error or something but it worked fine...anyone else having this problem?

Zombies for wave 15+ players

It seems like atvi/tencent didn’t really care or maybe except us to get past wave 15 since that’s where the rewards stop. The first 15 waves feel fine and I think that’s why. After that the zombies become too hard to kill even with maxed out upgrades. They’re trying to make it zombies but in small bite size doses so you don’t get ducked by people leaving after a 45 minute game because they’re playing in class or at work. I do not like that as I have a charger with me and a power bank and I just wanna grind zombies and be properly rewarded for it but most people aren’t playing like that I’m sure. I hope in the future that there’s some kind of incentive for going past 15 waves like maybe a shard multiplier or some sort of increased rewards that don’t have a limit, within reason of course. And I’m sure this is in the works but hopefully more maps get added. Shi no numa is an excellent release map though I gotta give them props!

Why are zombies insanely tanky?

I was trying out the zombies mode since hey, it's something new to play, and we're probably never getting a singleplayer campaign... I don't play any zombie games aside from Left 4 Dead 2, but I was going in with high hopes. first few waves were meh, and all of a sudden, those fucking Brutus zombies come in, and for some reason it took me 800 damage to kill a SINGLE ZOMBIE. and with how slowly you move when not sprinting or in water, you get a massive horde of like 50 zombies chasing you, your gun might as well be shooting blanks, and what do ya know, you ran out of ammo, so your only weapons are the knife, which is already suicide to use in any game mode, especially zombies, and I bought the sticky grenade. surprisingly, the sticky grenades are more effective at killing zombies than an ak47, since you have infinite once you buy them, and they don't slow you don't to use them. but eventually the zombies either catch up to you, or you run out of time, so it's a lose-lose situation thats more monotonous than running through tall grass trying to level up your Charmander before a gym battle in Pokemon. I rest my case.

TLDR:
Nerf the zombies health
Nerf grenades like holy fuck infinite grenades wtf
basically take some hints from Left 4 Dead 2 it's 10 years old and kicking it probably knows what it's doing

How do you kill the lightning zombies?

I got to round 24 when my last teammate quit the game so I’m guessing he must have been killing all the electric zombies. I had to ray guns from the box and killed all of the normal zombies, but there were two electric zombies left. They would die but once I killed one, it just respawned. I ended up just letting them kill me after trying for so long. Do you need to kill them both at the same time? Do you have to use a gun other than the ray gun? Was it glitching? I’m confused.

Controller support

I went out and picked up an Xbox one controller today to test out the controller support and was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked. It definitely has some bugs (unresponsive trigger pulls with advanced controls, getting locked into sights, ect) but this is a huge really cool step forward for mobile gaming and COD in the role it plays. I'm all for it. (Galaxy note 10+)

After the update the game feels off

After this update everything feels so slow I had a bug before where my cross hair would swing to the left uncontrollably but that's been fixed the jumping and sliding feels off the recoil on my type 25 feels off the matches aren't fast paced like they used to be they lowered my k/d for no reason just from updating.... The sensitivity is off ads is slow why would you decrease movement speed feels like they're catering to casual and new players that aren't used to the fast reaction time or something I feel like I'm being punished when I play this game now for doing too good before😂

Xbox One controller issues

Anyone else have an issue where they're forced to sprint by literally moving straight forward? The option to click in the left stick is greyed out. Lateral movement is very clunky and seems to also mess with ADS button responsiveness. Other than that, I like the patch.

Unpopular opinion (I think): the new overall gameplay style feels better now.

People are complaining that it's slower, and that they patched certain areas (like on hijacked), but I see that as a good thing.

Jumping and sliding constantly took a lot of strategy out of the game because if you were in a tight spot you could just hop and slide your way out of it. Also, having spots that someone could just mow people down with no real way to shoot back felt annoying. Now it's more likely that you'll have to choose your fights more wisely, which people should consider a good thing.

The controls also feel like they're responding waaay better now. I don't have those deaths that I wonder why my character didn't move or shoot, or something like that.

I will admit, however, that my play style is average speed, so this helps me. I also haven't played any call of duty games before this, so I don't have anything to compare it to.

My thoughts on the zombies mode

Hello this is my first post here (I think?) and I want to show my thoughts on the latest zombies mode

(Keep in mind)
This is to not shit on the developers

(My thoughts)
It doesn’t feel like a zombies mode like traditionally.
• zombies feel like they are wearing bulletproof shit around their bodies like around 10+ ish rounds
• the game feels...fast? (I don’t play the newer zombies like bo3 and etc) especially when a round is over. You get like 10 seconds before literally zombies start spawning a few inches from the window
• it doesn’t feel punishing. respawns during a round and res tokens
I don’t feel like listing it all but overall the zombies mode we got felt well disappointing and boring (to me). And again I don’t want to shit on the devs I love the game and I know there’s a lot of room for improvement.

But hey I mean at least we got what asked for right?

Finally, Tencent won i guess.

I knew this was gonna happen sometime sooner or later, but I'm disappointed nonetheless. They finally brought the non permanent camos and skins over from pubg.
Although the shard system is fine but this time limited stuff, in my opinion sucks. Although it hasn't infiltrated into the crates yet, but just like this it's only a matter of time when the whole cosmetic system becomes crappy like the one in Pubgm.

The ZOMBIE mode should be re-designed

It just takes too much time. Don't know why they make the zombie mode like this, it is obvious that it's time-consuming.

I just have tried to finish 3 raids and 3 survival to meet daily reward limits, and I found that I reached 1% in the leaderboard. Seriously? That may mean that most of the people get tired of the zombie mode. In other words, it is definitely hard to be done. It took 40 minutes for 15 rounds survival, and more than one hour for 25+ rounds.

I would say Tencent, Activision or whoever should make the zombie mode faster and shorter, which is mobile-friendly. Who would wanna play more than 1 hour for one survival game with a phone? It is ridiculous.

I think most of you already get used to zombie mode which can be simply done if you know how to kite and what weapon is effective. We don’t need to repeat meaningless kiting for 1 hour or more. I want a more dynamic and fast-paced zombie mode for the mobile environment.

Anyone know the exact rules on gaining BR Ranking

Trying to get to master before the season ends. All the game really tells you is once you hit elite your rank can go down for losing but quantifying a loss vs a win in BR seems tedious. So far I’ve discovered that dying at 35 = reduction in rank. Dying at 6 = addition to rank. What is the highest number of opponents remaining to still go up in rank? My guess is like dying at 20 or 25 left will still rank you up, but I havn’t died there. I Simply ask people to post the position you were in when you died but still got ranking points. Thanks in advince, It’d really help.

Advice for Pro/Master players: matchmaking in rank matches

From what I’ve noticed, if you’re a master (such as myself) and you joined a random team, you’ll most likely be stuck with pro rank 1 teammates. While the other team has 3 masters rank 1-2/ 2 pro rank 4-5 and their chances of winning is much higher.

My advice for Masters, have a squad of 3 masters 1-2 and 2 Pro rank 4-5. It’ll double your chances of winning

Furthermore, the same can be said for Pro ranks. Have 3 Pro ranks—rank 4-5, and 2 elites rank 4-5. This will even out the matchmaking and you’ll be just pared against pro ranks level 3-5. Yes it’s still somewhat unfair but it’s a lot better than being paired against a full team of Masters or legendaries

Use Ray Gun with buffs

You can expect more damage if you’re using the Ray Gun with buffs! Stack buffs (reload buff and kill streak buff) with another gun like AK117, and swap to Ray Gun if the buff is fully stacked.

If you have full upgrades (10 levels), you'll see 1000+ damage with AK117 per one headshot. When you reached full stack, just swap to Ray Gun. The damage per one shot of Ray Gun will be 1000+.

It will help you to save your ammo in a survival mode at high rounds.

Maybe it's just me but I feel like I'm being punished for rushing now everybody just camps and crawls on the ground like worms the jumping and sliding is pointless now😂😂 everything is so much slower I'm so used to moving fast that I can't get used to this I used to average 22-25 kills a game with the type 25 before the update now I'm lucky if I get 9 kills with it cause the recoil is off everything feels so clunky it's a shame cause the graphics are gorgeous but I feel like they took a lot of steps backwards with this update like they're catering to the new players and ppl that couldn't adjust to the twitchy fast paced gameplay before I know some ppl like that slower style of gameplay where you sit in a corner pre aiming until someone runs by but that's just not for me 🤷‍♂️

Samsung game tuner best clockspeed to use?

Hi, I'm playing on a galaxy s7 edge and the game feels very smooth and runs at 60fps but at the same time it produces a lot of heat, so I've found an idea to underclock the game and put it on -4 in Game Tuner. It solved the heat and battery drain but it has some occasional fps drops. So I'm wondering if anyone has a suggestion to where should I keep my clockspeed at in game tuner?

These are ALL the Easter Eggs I've found so dar on zombies

I think I found all the easter eggs on the map

Okay, first the tree boss Easter Egg:

  1. Find two pieces on the first floor of the main cabin and fix the elevator on the second floor.
  2. Go down to the secret lab.
  3. I don't know if it's necessary, but read the book on the tablet.
  4. Shoot the seeds in order. There or 3 in one side and a single one in the other side of the room. The order is LEFT, RIGHT, THE SINGLE ONE AND MIDDLE (I hope it's clear, IF not try to find the correct order, it may change)
  5. Interact with the computer in the other room and you're done!

The radios:
There's one radio in the computer room, next to the PDW
The others are on each of the four cabins, just look for them, it's really simple.

T.Bears:
The same as the radios, there's one in each cabin's windows, just look for then and you will find them. (I don't actually know what they do, but they are there for you to shoot)

Pans:
In the cabin with the pans, shoot them all. A seed will spawn outside. You can shoot it until it disappears and another one will spawn close. Keep following the seeds until you get the last one. (The first 3 ones will spawn in front of the cabin I think. The others, across the bridge). When you get the last one, a Death Machine bonus will spawn. That's it for this one.

Meteor:
If you keep shooting the meteor, the flying skulls from the boss fight will spawn. When they die, a Max ammo will drop.

I guess that's it for this map, I couldn't find any more Easter Eggs
Hope this is helpful for anyone.

Oh, and for some reason, I can't complete all of them in one game. I tried to do everything, but there's always one that the game doesn't let me finish. Maybe that's a bug, idk

Quick Scoping is dead

Anyone else having problems with quick scoping with an 8x with the DLQ33? Like, the scope doesn’t open at the place where you have been wanting to take the crosshair. I have tested all types of sensitivity settings from low to high but I can’t quick scope and accurately hit the target like I used to do pre-update.

  1. First off the complaint that you have all heard the zombies health is way to high way to early. What I think is the best way to fix this is nerf the amount of health zombies get per round, this will mean that zombies stop feeling like round 30 zombies when its round 11.

  2. There are a few problems I have with the awards system. First the limit per day thing is stupid, making it that you can't get awards after 3 games of raid or survival is annoying and kinda makes playing zombies pointless after you reach the limit. Why is there a limit for zombies? There aren't ones in mp and br. And there isn't really any point for getting to a high round or activating and killing the Tree boss. From what I have seen it doesn't matter if you reached round 16 or round 30 in survival you get the same awards. This seems to be the same with the bosses in raid and no matter what boss you kill in raid it doesn't change your awards at all. How to fix the daily limit? Get rid of it, or if it is going to stay there I dont think it should be any lower than 7 a day. For the high rounds maybe make it that the higher rounds you reach the more purple items you get or make it that there are items you can only get if you make it to round 30 or higher meaning there is actually a good reason to aim for high rounds. And for the boss, have items that you can only get from certain bosses, this would give a better reason to fight both bosses.

The game cannot download itself+SD Card corruption.

Once, I just wanted to put the CoDM on my SD Card, that took more time than expected already. Then next day, it deleted itself, leaving just the logo of SD Card biocomponent not found.
I was scared at this point like what the hell, and decided not to download it again, until the zombie mode comes in. Then now I wanted to download it, and after the 100% done, it shows "Application cannot be downloaded". Any kind of way to fix it? I really wanna try out the Zombie mode and I just cannot :C

while I enjoy events and all that (bit of rant)

maybe its just me but holy fuck, they should try and slow down with the amounts of them that they throw on us. i get it, its all about player retention and getting people hooked on with FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) but this is ridiculous.

I took a break from this game when the Pumpking Event 2.0 was live because I just couldnt keep up with all of these, not when they throw even more events on us where its essentially a roll of the dice if you actually get a pumpkin or not (and believe me I farmed the first one till nosebleed and to stay in the top 5 percent for the rewards). im thinking of coming back since zombies is released but reading all these posts, im not sure if its worth it.

Why zombie mode is sh!tty

  1. The health bar is like the health bar of Yhorm The Giant from DS3.

  2. Outta Nowhere Avocados are teleporting in front of your face with a health bar of two Yhorms.

  3. You are searching for a mystery box? First of all it isn't mystery. You just get everytime the fucking same weapon. Secondly just stick with the first weapon you can buy on the first wall. All weapons deal like the same amount of damage.

  4. To put in the knive and the haftgrenade in this zombie mode must have been the idea of the new Albert Einstein.

  5. You can't find the lift for the floor downstairs? Well, it's better for you lucky one. Down there are way too small corridors. The small corridors aren't wide enough for you, three avocados and 20 zombies.

  6. Two hour restriction of playtime? Damn, whoever manages it to play this mode for two hours will get a medal from me. I've done virtual suicide in round 21, because I couldn't stick up with the torture of aiming at zombies and while walking backwards nonstop.

PS4 controller issues

I wanted to try out playing with a PS4 controller at the update but everything is mapped incorrectly. Buttons are all jumbled up and the right stick doesn't work. Anyone else having this problem?

ARs in Zombie Mode

Has anyone noticed that the 7.62mm weapons deal LESS damage to weapons than 5.56mm ones?

Statistically, the damages of 7.62mm weapons more, like the AK-47 & the ASM-10.
But the BK-57, Type-25 & AK-117 make more damage per bullet.

Button to shoot for controller?

I didnt know how to word it but I cant figure out how to change the control scheme for the controller to where it doesnt fire automatically. A lot of the time, especially in BR, I may just be watching the enemy or have the wrong gun out etc and then it starts shooting. I just want to change it where i have to use r2 just like in every cod.

Fix

My game just completly crashes in random times maybe in first match, second, third, fourth. It just keeps crashing and crashing. I also did some resarch bout this on youtube and found out that its not cuz of my device "they" said its cuz of thr game itself. If there is a solution for that or a thing devs can fo please fix this asap. ( i tried restarting the game redownloading and clearing the data)

PS4 Controller Issues

With the (re)introduction of controller support to CODM, I was excited to play with my PS4 controller.

However, after connecting and loading into a game, I found that half the buttons didn't work and the ones that did had horrible lag!

Has anyone else had similar issues and hopefully found a fix?

I just got a ban on one of my first few matches?

I'm using bluestacks, I'll say this now (don't just downvote me and pass on, read the rest). I wanted to play the zombies mode but the stupid game forces you to be lvl 5 to get to it, so I just played a couple of mp matches. I got a 1 day ban as soon as I hit lvl 5. Was I banned because the game detected I was using bluestacks, or was I banned because people reported me?

Zombies are a lot smarter than any other zombie in other cod games

I noticed that the developers put in a system where when trying to run past a horde of zombies the horde dont usually do they are supposed to before you could even try to go past them the zombies seem to quickly cut you well other zombies quickly get on behind(happened to me a few times) in other zombies like bo1 to bo3 or iw and aw sombies dont seem to do this (if i am actually wrong about this please dont go chewing my ear off)

Autologin broken.

As the title says, auto login to face book seems to be broken after the update since every time I open up the game, it asks me to login again, which is very annoying. Also, it really sucks that even after so long we don't have play games or any other method than facebook to login.

Subtle New Features in Battle Royale

Couple of things I've noticed.

  1. They moved a few of the helicopters.
  2. Some of the weapons (notably the Artic.50) seem to deal more damage.
  3. The addition of the M16.
  4. Fewer bots. Since the new release, I've had a lot harder match-ups with some better players instead of crappy bots.
  5. The bots there are, seem to be carrying better loot when you kill them.

Anyone else noticed any changes?

Thoughts on Zombie mode

As we all know, zombies came out yesterday. I've played it and it's "meh" in my opinion. There are pros and cons to this game mode.

Pros:

  • New mode in which we don't have to stick with the mp and br
  • Map is an OG map from back in the day.
  • Perks and buffs which is good

Cons:

  • Map is a bit small. For example, if you accidentally get stuck in an area with a horde of zombies, you're technically screwed and end up using a revive.
  • Survival. With each and every round that you advance, it gets harder and harder. More zombies and they're more difficult to kill than the ones in the previous round.
  • Damage dealt with certain guns. For example, one magazine clip of the AKS-74U doesn't even take out a single zombie. MSMC is a totally different story but it's not that good at all.

Zombies Glitching?

Has anyone else experienced glitching playing zombies? I got to level 13 or 14, ran out of ammo (obviously) but couldn't refill any ammo or buy another gun, also the perk fridge and the soda machines didn't recognize me standing in front of them. I managed to finish with sticky grenades as they refresh (it takes 4 stuck grenades to kill one zombie at this point). At the start of level 14 or 15 the new zombies knew where I was, yet still couldn't refill ammo or buy new guns. Had well over 20k tokens so knew that wasn't the issue.

Oh, and I tried reporting the bug to CoD but when I started typing the bug report, the submit button disappears. I guess they're already filled out by others....

Sound Issue in Zombie mode

whenever i play in zombies mode the game sounds are always extremely minimal and i hear broken sounds from the background.. always my mic is working fine- loud and clear, is it that the mic is overbearing on the game sounds? how can i fix it..it does not happen in the BR or MP modes though.

The game was good at launch, not much bugs not alot of "in your face" micro transactions.

Now whenever i log in i have to close atleast 3 pages of microtransactions,

like a operator skin for €3,

a weapon skin that's a terrible rarity for €19,99 but called a good deal for some reason

And more. Now they added shard system and a time limited skin system. But ANYONE that has played PubgM can see where this may go..

PubgM is full of in your face microtransactions and fillers in crates where you pay €2 to open one.

The game is just FULL of limited day skins, you can spend €2 on 1 crate and get in game tokens worth 1 game of TDM, i really don't want CodM to go to that hell..

If you have played PubgM for a long time i'm sure neither would you. At the moment this system is not bad, it's a free skin after all they need to make money sure, but i really don't hope they will become like it's brother PubgM , Tencent is known for being really greedy..

MP automatically rotating maps since update?

When selecting a particular map in MP to play. After the round finishes and selecting "play again", the game is now randomising the next map automatically opposed to replaying the same map originally selected.

If I wanted to play random maps I'd select that option. Sometimes I just want to play a few rounds on the same map and that no longer seems possible, which is hella annoying.

Anyone else noticed this?

Control layout resets after editing

I play with 4 fingers, so I went ahead and edited my Zombies control layout as soon as I updated. When I played normal multiplayer, my controls seem to have reset to default (really small on my phone too), and it really did reset when I checked settings. Has this happened to anyone else?

The Store

Hi, I recently started playing and I’m wondering how the store works. Some of the guns are worth different amounts depending on the skin. There are different values for each weapon and I was wondering if I buy it, would I get the weapon and the skin, or just the skin. If I purchase a AK117 in the store, do I get the weapon and the skin? I’m only level 17 and the AK117 unlocks above level 100 I think. Would I be able to use it? Also, should I purchase the premium battle pass instead or save my cp for something else?

Frame rate not available any more

I used to be able to have Very High graphics with Max Frame rate. Max frame rate is 60 FPS which is very useful in a first person game because you can notice more details and have a better control.

Now, at all graphic options my top choice is "Very high" frame rate which is exactly 48 FPS.

What's the reason behind such a change?

Hey Developers I just updated today and I saw controler support was available but only with wireless controllers Are you guys working on getting wired controllers working or no Because I only have a ps3 controller which I can connect to my phone. Bugs on the new update, battle royale

Is it just me or ever since the new update came out the game seems to be falling apart at the seams and full of bugs?
On the previous release the game would crash, usually during doing something like ads and shooting, usually not to long after landing. You can imagine that if you are shooting it's due to having enemies nearby, and having you game crash at that precise moment, well, this kills the man.
On this update though, the game will usually start failing right as you drop off the plane, the screen would just turn black, then you tab out of the game and back in, it runs for a couple more seconds, and then it either fully crashes or starts working properly.
The hit detection for rockets is just awful, I downed a guy by shooting directly at him, then when I went to finish him off I shot another rocket on the floor right besides him, less than half a meter apart, but he was near a box and the hit didn't register.

I have lost 4 BR matches in a row now, 1 of them admittedly is due to the fact that now there are less bots in master rank at least, and I got my ass handed back to me by someone else more skilled than I am, but the other 3 times I have experienced a plethora of bugs, mostly the game crashing during a firefight and getting me killed.

I mainly play BR, so getting more bugs on top of the preexisting ones is just going to get me to lose more matches and lower my ranking, so I guess I'll put the game down up until they release another update, hopefully they will fix zombies too, that was quite disappointing and buggy too, not to mention the game play feels odd and repetitive.
Would be cool if they add Tranzit to the zombies mode, loved playing that on Black Ops 2

Game canmot find my Dualshock 4

Hey, since the new update came out I wanted to play using my Dualshock 4 controller so I connected it to my phone via bluetooth but when I want to connect it in game, CoD doesn't seems to find it. It's just saying "searching" and nothing more.

Tank Zombies? Broken Controller Support?? What's going on???

I can't be the only person who thinks the zombies in cod mobile get insanely more health after round 5. In the actual mobile black ops zombies shotguns at least still did enough damage on one shell enough in even a bodyshot to kill a zombie. Now even if I ain for the head it doesn't do much. Hell, even the SNIPER rifle they give you in cod mobile doesn't do much. The friggin RAYGUN, you know... The arguably most powerful weapon in zombies history, takes at least 6 shots to kill one zombie(which is why I bunch a lot of zombies in a group and start spraying) the death machine a fucking MINIGUN takes so many hits to kill a zombie.
And the controller support is laughably bad. I tried to connect my Bluetooth gamepad (an Ipega. High quality at a pretty cheap price) wouldn't even connect. And I saw comments a a YouTube video I saw to see if I was doing something wrong say that the controls aren't even mappable and were broken.
I was waiting for this update for a long time and holy shit its got so many issues.

Tips for zombies

After playing zombies survival a couple times, as you already know, zombies have an incredible health boost compared to the original zombie games. So you run through a lot of ammo really quickly. Because of this, I would recommend customizing either an AK 117 and using that as your primary rather than a gun from the mystery box so you can constantly replenish your ammo whenever you want. With all the perks combined with the upgrades, the game becomes pretty easy. It becomes a matter of surviving for 2 hours. I went with mostly damage upgrades, including damage after reloading and headshots damage, you melt through hordes of zombies. Especially if you get the Deadshot perk. This perk is pretty much aimbot. It’ll adjust your aim to hit the zombies’ head, but it works a lot better at range.

Zombie addition sure has own issues but soundtrack in main menu is epic

I must say that I never played zombie mode in CoD (or any CoD after advanced warfare) so I dont know if this is soundtrack from pc version but I love it. Perfectly fits zombie theme.

On the other hand zombie mode in normal is too easy and quick and I cant find anything what would force me to come back and play one more round. I hope there will be more content connected to zombie in upcoming season pass.

Razer Junglecat and getting banned

So this might be a bit of a rant.

I recently got a Razer Phone 2 and their Junglecat controller. In a rider to make it work with CODM, I had to install this octopus plugin. I also had to do some configuration to get it to work. Took about 15 minutes to set up and make sure it worked.

Now my account is getting banned before a match completed all the match over screens. Currently on a 7 day ban. This is complete bullshit when they are allowing PS4 and Xbox one controllers to be used by won't allow any third party controllers like Razer Junglecat.

Question: is there a way around this or should I just return the controller and buy an Xbox one or PS4 controller?

Hello, I am relatively new;

Hi,
I have been playing CodM since 4 Weeks after mobile release, about 1-2 hours a day, and I have reached level 44 and I am struggling to get kills. I use the lk24 - yellow triangle and I honestly enjoyed using it, but over the last week of so, it seems as it is loosing gunfights more often, even as I’m strafing as well.
So, I start using the PDW50 - Zombie Gene, or the MSMC - Ancient Runes (Level 11), and again I am still winning short range fights, but loosing long range fights as I feel as the recoil is too strong.
So, to cut to the chase, can anyone recommend any good classes that work at all ranges?

Ray gun probability

So as we all know the chances of getting ray gun are low, but can two people have the ray gun at once?

I wanted to figure this out so I went with my friend and once he had the ray gun I pent the rest of the time I was a live spinning the box I spun an exact amount of times of 32 times and not once did I even see the ray gun in there just an empty slot before going to another weapon

But if any of you have gotten the ray gun when someone had it how many times did you need to spin it

Skin rarity zombies damage buff

Alright has anyone actually noticed an increase in damage between skin rarity? The game says that purple tier skins give +30% damage so I equipped my red action ak and I've seen no noticable difference. Is it just me? Am I blind?

Also why can we not edit the mystery box guns like the snipers, smh come on CoD :(

Resolving Issues

I discovered a resolution for two issues I had that worked for me and would like to share them. I'm not saying no one else hasn't done it or that they will work for all. I'm no genius but I would like to help when it's not difficult to write a few words.

If anyone wants to contribute ways that they have resolved issues, please do.

1 White loading screen after update.
I couldn't get the game to start but I activated it from the main apps menu. When I went to the Play Store and opened it, it worked fine and from then on I could open it from apps menu.

2 Google link not working.
Eventually I chose to use a different Google account from the suggested one. It took me to a screen where I made a new Google account and eventually it seemed to crash. However when I restarted my tablet and reopened the game I picked guest from the loading menu and went in worried I lost all progress. I hadn't. The option to link now had the Google logo and said linked.

Why are the "very high"and "max" frame rate options disable for devices that can obviously run them?

This makes absolutely no sense. Even the iPad 2018 has "high"as the highest setting for frame rates. This makes no sense and a lot more devices should be unlocked. My iPad 2018 runs PUBG maxed out without a sweat. So why is Zombies and Battle royal barely running at 30 fps? I really want this fixed for the community.

I don't think I'll be able to complete the kill 6000 enemies till yesterday, in clan they say 28/11/2019 is when S2 is going to start but in battle pass it says only 1 day is remaining, I'm at 99th tier, free to play, and I'll need 150 more points to reach tier 100 and get type 25 pinstripes, I can get 100 more points tomorrow from daily missions if the season is not going to end tomorrow and then again 100 points from daily next day, so when is S2 going to start exactly? And will I be able to get type 25 pinstripes?

CoD Mobile broke after the update...

I've been playing CoD Mobile now since it came out, and I really love the game. But recently, after I updated the game to the newest version, whenever I try to open the game, it just gets stuck on a white screen, and the only thing I can do is exit. No more BR for me.

The new update has honestly killed my enthusiasm for BR. Now I get that lots of people whined there were too many bots, but to me it actually made the ranked rewards attainable and BR fun. I really wanted the character, but now it’s less fun to play so like other BR modes, I’m not playing.

So.. Hooked up the controller but the game wants to always move my aim around and mostly to the floor. Nothing wrong with my controller and I've checked the settings a few times and can't find what it could be. Anyone else experiencing this?

Zombie mode kills reset

After playing zombie mode for a while I completed zombie kill mission of killing 500 zombies. And later all those data just vanished like, I have the gun skin but it shows that I didn't complete the mission. And also earlier I was in top 6% in leaderboard and now I'm not on leaderboard as I have zero kills.

Did anybody else had this problem?

Tips for Zombie Newbs

The map is pretty easy, except for the insane health, but I found a lot of people making rookie errors when it comes to dealing with being caught in a corner or being rushed from two-three directions at once, so making this post.

Been playing Zombies since COD WaW and trust me, this is much easier than those maps.

And the dogs. The damn dogs.

  1. Movement - I've seen a lot of people unwilling to move beyond the first house unless pushed out. TIGHT SPACES ARE THE WORST PLACE TO BE. The likely outcome is being cornered and going down, and even if you spam jump and somehow squeeze through, the train of zombies is just going to turn and take swipes at you again. Open up the whole map one area at a time and move out of the main house. Sprinting past zombies is relatively easy and if you need faster movement, pull out your knife, carrying a heavy LMG can slow down movement considerably if you're getting backed into a corner.

  2. Perks - BUY THEM. Those 7 machines aren't on the map to look good. If you look at them, they don't exactly look that great anyway. Contrary to popular belief, points do not mean prizes. You could stack up to 100k, you're still going to get 2 shards for a sad-looking skin on a gun you never use. That's just how it is. Even if you find it tough to follow the directions of how to get into the underground chamber, at least buy the 5 perks on the ground.

Juggernog - Increases health/how many hits you can take before you go down. It's a must-have.

Quick Revive - Grants an extra 'revive token.' It also helps you revive downed team-mates faster.

Double Tap 1.0 - Increases fire rate by 33%. If you train zombies, this perk helps to empty a mag into them, turn and run while reloading, rinse and repeat.

Deadshot Daiquiri - Makes you lock on to the head instead of the torso of the zombie. It also reduces weapon recoil and removes sniper sway during lining up a shot. Not as important, especially if you hip-fire instead of down the sights.

Speed Cola - Decreases reload time by 50% and also help...

PSA: Some helpful Zombies tips.

Starting off with the one most seem to miss.

(1) Those coin machines are basically gobblegum machines without the limited supply from BO3. Most of them have very good effects, and they cost $500 each if you only buy one each wave. The coins will save your life (or your teammates') if you use them effectively.

(2) Not all of the perks are on the "normal map" by default. You can repair the lift on the balcony of the 2nd floor of the starting building using the parts you find around the ground floor of the same building, and after you repair it you can use it to buy the remaining 2 perks and activate the hidden boss.

(3) Upgrades. Hoo boy. First of all, unless you're a bad player, the blue ones are useless. They focus on survival, which is perfectly possible using the aforementioned tips. What you'll want is the 3 red damage upgrades, and once you have all of those upgrade them to level 5 using the machine. After that, there should be a 4th "upgrade slot" you can use to randomly level each of your perks past level 5 to level 10, which can get a bit expensive but is worth it.

(4) Speaking of the red upgrades, one of them gives you reload speed and increased headshot damage after reload speed... And you know what perk makes it incredibly easy to get headshot after headshot? Deadshot Daquiri. it increases your aim assist so it's basically aimbot, makes you aim assist lock onto heads/weakspots, and tightens your hipfire which is totally useless because hipfire in this mode kinda sucks.

(5)Try not to stick too close to your teammates, especially ones with groups of zombies following them. I know all those potential points can be tempting, but you can also get both you and that player killed if you make a stupid decision and lead your own trail of zombies right into theirs.

Controller feels weird.

I tried playing with controller and have found that there is hardly any aim assist in battle royale and multiplayer? It is the worst with shotguns especially...In zombies the aim assist is great for controller as it has lock on when pressing l2. Perhaps add this same aim assist across all modes because its near impossible to aim on controller...

What’s your favorite CoD killstreak of all time? Why?

Mine would have to be the Warthog from Black Ops 2. Chopped gunner was a close pick, but I was almost always guaranteed 8+ kills or more possibly with my warthog, as well as taking out campers hiding from it, while on foot. The sound of the WH was pretty fucking terrifying as well and I loved how it’d swoop down and light the fuck out of everything including you even if you called the streak in lol.

Ps4 controller issues

Controller support...

The new update States that it has controller support but I've had no success with it. I've tried my PS4 controller and my Steelseries Stratus Duo with no luck. I do have it turned on in the options and it says connected, but it doesn't work. I'm afraid to reinstall the app for fear of losing my progress since I use a guest account. They've incorporated Google play services finally but when I tried to log in on my tablet it was asking if I wanted to overwrite what was linked to my Google account. Anybody got any suggestions?

Going with the bandwagon, I too updated the cod but after installing the update, i just see a white screen nothing else, it's just stays there & after sometime usual android options pop up (to wait, close, submit feedback). Hence, I submitted the feedback but no resolve yet.

Was playing in Guest mode, so reinstalling isn't an option.

Thoughts on season 2 so far

With the season 2 update releasing yesterday and a good bit of time on the game i thought it’d be a good time to discuss how the game feels now that the update is live.

First off snipers, was kind of disappointed that the ads speed has increased across the board for snipers however it will def increase the skill capacity for comp players. (Comment below on how other guns feel after this patch, I’ve really only stuck to the dlq and aks this past season so let me know how other guns were affected)

The sprint speed was also lowered which will slow down the pace of the game, which i didn’t see to be a problem pre-patch however it was addressed in this update and we will see how it effects competitive play.

One fix i wholeheartedly support is the sparrow adjustment. Over the past season since its introduction, sparrow has been dominant in mp and was the go-to specialist for literally everyone to run. Although the charge up speed has increased, i still see this as one of the most dominant specialist abilities and will take more time to truly determine if it fits well in the specialist economy.

Controllers, well they were finally introduced into the game with this update. But... from my experience they are not fully ready to be accounted into the competitive scene yet. The delay and unresponsiveness causes the controller to feel like a step back rather than a step forward to making the gameplay more smooth for the user. The joysticks were a definite plus to control however ads and shooting are still very unresponsive at times when u need them to work in crucial situations. Overall i found that i play better as a 2 finger iPhone 11 player then with my scuf connected. With this only being the first iteration of controllers into game, I’m sure we can expect them to perform better and more responsive in the future, but for now they remain as more of a cool concept than effective for compete play.

A thought on Zombies...

After playing it extensively, I can see them going back and not necessarily revamping it...but making a bunch of small adjustments that will make it feel more like classic zombies. A competitive leaderboard, removal of timer, maybe nerfing the hp of zombies a bit. These are just things at the top of my head.

I don't think it needs a massive revamp because the core of the game is very solid. Also remove the strange framerate cap on ios in zombies!

Controller support is half-assed & hello network/server issues thanks to update

Controller support was what I anticipated the most. Been playing this game since launch and after playing religiously only took a break about a month or so ago. While the 3D touch controls were great and enabled me to play great with only 2 thumbs (got to master II), the virtual joystick got way too annoying. Enter controller support. Everything is jacked up. Im not talking about the "OH MY PS4 controller not mapped correctly hALP!" neither. I have both Xbox One & PS4 controllers which both work fine. But man, the implementation has been half assed. Does it work? Yea sure, but its janky af. No way can you play competitively with it. Its okay for Zombies but no way for Ranked. I dont know what theyre going to do and how much they can actually fix it, but we'll see. Had controller support been on-point (at least near console level) i would've definitely spent money on the game on the spot. Thats going to have to wait i guess.

Also, since the update. Network has been unstable. Its not noticeable enough unless you constantly watch the ping, but i am averaging 2x as much ping as I did playing for months in the past, with spikes every 4-5 seconds. No its not my internet. Trust me, i've checked thoroughly. Im a fighting game fan first and foremost and my setup is configured to have absolutely minimum ping. I dont know what they did to their servers/data center, it may just be the influx of players, but shit is fucked up.

TENCENT has decided to fill in-game zombie hardcore lobbies that are missing a person (good)

They also decided to punish the player if they want to leave that game, by counting a “quit” as a loot roll (bad)

I decided I didn’t want to play a hardcore lobby at round 4, putting me at a major points disadvantage...so I left and got penalized

Fucking garbage decision of programming, punishing the people possibly filling a game

They really removed the thing the that separates the skill gap.

Why is it when you jump you barely move you can’t strafe to a side no more basically in this patch you’re only limited to slide and jumping and continuous jumping because there is a sliding fatigue. I’m sure not even bo4 has sliding fatigue. I think they should revert back to the original movement system because close range gun like the msmc are super in effective now. The game also favors players staying in one place.

Anyone noticed Battle Royale medals were missing after the update?

I've done 3 games of BR after the update, and i've noticed that medals went missing after the update. No medals are being credited. I rarely get the "Sweep the board" medal so I know there wasn't any added after my last match where i got 11 kills. When i check the logs, there wasn't a button to see the medals acquired as well. Anyone experienced the same?

In the same way that a controller has an advantage against touch and wouldn't be fair to put those kind of players together, a controller is no match for a mouse.

A thread to share suggestions, opinions and report bugs about the zombies mode.

First of all, I absolutely love what Timi Studios has done until now with zombies. The map port is good, the zombies AI is better than what I expected (They actually try to close any way of escape in closed parts of the map.) and the a mounts of zombies in screen, at least in squads is incredible for a mobile device.

Now, as any feature or game mode in its first release, there's room for a lot of improvements and I would like this to be a thread to share suggestions, opinions and some bugs that you may have faced while playing. So all of this can reach Tencent, Timi Studios or Activision. u/COD_Mobile_Official

I'll start with a list I've made in the last days about things I think that can be improved/fixed.

  1. The zombies should be able to run and get more aggressive after the initial rounds, like in console versions. Right now They are slow in any round and can be easily dodged most of the times.

  2. I think it's a bug, but zombies can't hit you through windows like normally they would do... You can just stand still repairing a window forever while there are zombies behind and they will never hit you (They will just try to hit you forever behind the window but you will never get any hit. A Hitbox problem it seems).

  3. The zombies should get you down at 2 hits without juggernaut and 4 or 5 with it atleast in Hardcore Raid and Survival mode, like console version. I would prefer they reduce the zombies health while making them more dangerous tbh... That would be more challenging and fun.

  4. They definitively need to increase the time limit or remove it atleast in survival mode. Right now you have to play very fast if you want to get to high rounds because the time limit pressures you.

  5. Infinite trip mines and sticky granades shouldn't be a thing, you can just spam them forever. It would be fine if you can use at much 3 per round of each and then they will auto refill at the next round. Similar to how it works in console.

  6. The coin revives are too OP and reduces part of the challenge of zombies. It ...

Almost updated COD Mobile, but got error when it was installing, any help?

I saw an update yesterday, I clicked on update and it went fine it downloaded it and it started installing as soon as it almost just almost finishes I got some error on play store I don't know which because i closed it and now game has 3GB+ in app of COD Mobile and I can't update since I don't have much memory to update again and If I delete the whole game I might lose my level and guns I got. I don't know what to do please somebody help?

I was trying to update yesterday. I downloaded the whole update and now the app is taking up around 3 and a half GB. I think that's pretty standard, right? But then I go into the app and it's telling me I need to update again. I don't have enough space to download another 1.38 GB. I would uninstall the app and just try again but I don't want to lose my data. I tried linking a Facebook account but it didn't work.

P2W bs in zombies mode, and overall cosmetic crisis.

With this last update tencent has made clear that they don't care with actions like bringing a timed skin and bonus damage to skins in zombie mode. And yeah there are people saying "oh but it's not p2w cuz only gives u little buffs" and I used to think myself in the same way about the high tier skin buffs of season 1. But now they are giving 30 porcent more damage to the more rare skins (purple and gold and they are behind paywalls) and special moves to the lava gun and it's clear that it makes u get more points easily it's obviously pay to win more points. Like most of people I hope they start just selling skins and not lootboxes.

The menu where it says that skins give u more advantage it's really hidden. U have to go to your loadout in the zombies mode and edit one of your guns you'll see a yellow square.

A group of 4 peoples opinion on Zombies

The hype was based off what the community has previously experienced with console Zombies, we get it, phones just aren't as powerful as PCs or console and alot of variation in specs but let's face it, the hype wasnt worth it, Zombies on the Mobile is a massive disappointment.

Let's take it back to where it started on World At War. There was so much to do, teleporters to activate, power to turn on, pack a punch,big ass maps, hidden teddy bears that did some creepy ass stuff, that's what we grew to love about Zombies (the glitches were pretty fun too).

We understand, Zombies just came out, the game isn't even half a year old, but lets be real, this is crap, the map is tiny, not enough guns or options around the map, once you found the repair parts, there really isn't much else to do. Even with all the perks and buffs the zombies are ridiculously hard at lower levels, once maxed the improvement is minimal. You could of done better. We hope you do better with the future of zombies on the mobile.

We need another zombies map ASAP

Okay, I know that the Zombies mode JUST came out, but really? Only one map? I've already beat both the bosses numerous times, used nearly all the perk-a-colas, tried all the buffs out, and used all the guns, and it's only my second day playing the mode. I mean, can we at least get a P.A.P machine, or a 3rd boss?

Another thing, why cant we customize the guns we get from the mystery box? I mean I understand why we couldn't do the Ray Gun, but ALL THE OTHER ONES, only available in stock variant. At least let us put skins on them. I either earned the skins, or I payed for it, and I wanna use it.

Ping since update.

Apart from various glitches like the game announcing friendly stealth Choppers as enemy ones and them being invisible I'm getting alot of matches with over 100 ping when I always got games with 60 at the most.
I think it's part of the reason the game feels so slow and weird.

Anyone else getting the same issue?
It's giving wonky hit detection and delayed kills. Bad update imo for more reasons than just these.

Zombies Endless Mode Is, Well, Broken

At round 10, I had a dog freeze at the top of the stairs by where you spawn. It was the last dog. Deadshot Daquiri kept trying to lock onto it, but it would take no damage. I died by said invisible dog before realizing it was invisible. I tried sweeping around in front of me with a knife, to no avail. I had to activate the spinning log trap by the courtyard to kill it.

Next issue I ran into made me let the timer run out on the respawn counter. I was crawling under the previously referenced spinning log during a later round, and then I randomly stood up. Literally did not touch the button, and was simply crawling. I had, by then, used up my freespawns so I just said "I'm done."

Final issue is a connectivity issue. Why in the world do I disconnect so often?! I have a perfect WiFi connection, and the same happens when using LTE! I was playing Solo Endless and every couple of minutes I "lose connection." I think this is absolute BS. What happens is that screen pops up, says "reconnecting" but the game keeps progressing fluidly, like it never seizes up or stops. If anything happens because of this, its just that the zombies lurch forward a few feet and become invisible for about a second. I've lost games due to this, and it's legitimately infuriating. It makes no sense when I lose connection.

My Main Issue With Zombies

Big Idea: It really feels like survival is an afterthought in this game.

The zombies are manageable if you're just doing raids, but this mode clearly isn't set up for longer games. I made it to the mid-20s in survival with all perks and maxed buffs, but still didn't feel very powerful. The minibosses in older games felt important because fighting them felt like an event that was relevant to the progression of the map in terms of story or just a nice little spike in the flow of gameplay. Now they just feel like meatier zombies with a few bells and whistles.

I think the mode is mostly doing what it's meant to be doing, but unfortunately raids are the primary focus. I think the mode would excel had survival been the focus (but I guess that's not where the money's found).

Since the update, almost all of my games have had the worst ping, upwards of 150 ms. My wifi is fine and working. It was perfectly fine before the update with an average ping of about 40-50 ms. I cannot play a single match now. Every time, I load in, everything seems to be going great and when the match starts, all I get is the "reconnecting to game" loading icon. Has anyone else experienced this recently?

Game keeps crashing on a jailbroken device, works fine in unjailbroken state.

Hi guys, I have an iPhone XS Max jailbroken on 12.4.1. I am running an unmodified version of the game, no tweaks/hacks installed that relate to the game. It was running fine while I was jailbroken about 2 weeks ago, but now it refuses to work. It works fine when my phone is unjailbroken, but when I try to open the app in a jailbroken state I literally get a black screen and it turns off.

I've tried two tweaks that is supposed to turn off the jailbreak while the game is running but those aren't doing anything. Can someone please help, or am I just shit out of luck?

I made a Reddit account literally to come on here and say how much I've enjoyed having a portable call of duty game

It's nice to be able to go anywhere and play a game. Controller support needs to bugged out for sure, but it's getting there. Still can't really use a controller. It's not a perfect game, but it's fun for what it is

But yeah having a mobile cod game is fun. Nice on trips when your missing the old Xbox, pc, or PS.

Activating tree boss in hardcore raid results in instant “defeat”

I think this is a glitch, but when I go into the underground area, shoot the plants, and activate the machine, the 1-2 minute countdown starts like it should. At the end of the countdown, I instantly fail the mission? The zombies just stop running towards me and “defeat” is written across the screen. I dont even die, I just stop running too. I don’t know if there’s just something I’m not activating but it’s pretty frustrating to go all the way through the game just to get cucked out of continuing right before the boss. I still haven’t gotten to fight the tree boss because of this

Bluetooth earphones

My friend has airpods and I have galaxy buds but one thing we both noticed is the game uses the mic on the phone and not on our earbuds so it's hard to hear each other because we are both holding the phone and covering the mic, any way to make the game use the earbud mic and not the phone mic?

Controllers for COD mobile

I’ve been looking at gaming controllers made for mobile phones that are bigger in size than a standard PS4 or Xbox controller. I’m asking because after my wrist surgery i find it difficult holding and playing with game controllers so sadly i gave my PS4 to the kids. Has anyone had luck using mobile game controllers and does it work properly with the game?

Lower K/D after update

Did someone else had a higher K/D that decreased after the update? I used to have something like 1.93 but with the update on the 23rd of November it went down to 1.75 and I only realized today. I would like to know if other people had the same problem or if it's just me...

COD Mobile on Emulator Come On with The Controls Already

I’ve been waiting for this update for weeks. Hoping they’d finally fix the ads and fire button. No more getting caught staring at enemies because the fire button either doesn’t work or glitches out and won’t unads. Now, if you set your controls to “tap and hold to ads”, it won’t let you ads. They fixed the controls for “tap to ads”. It doesn’t glitch out anymore. But I can’t even fucking use the tap to hold. They fix the bugs and then fuck it up so you can’t even ads. Not to mention it won’t let you link google on emulator. Wtf.

How to save your guest account from the white screen of death on Android.

Updated and found a white screen or that it's force closing? Me too! Let me give you the fix and for you to save your account.

Go into your file manager, and go into the folder, "com.activision.callofduty.shooter" and see that guest file? Move it to a safe location, I just did the android folder. Then, wipe the data of cod mobile and load the game up and make sure it works. If it does, good, move the guest file back and log back into the guest account.

I was very surprised to find this worked and I still had my account.

Let me know if this works for you.

Another tip I use for data saving is titanium backup(I should add its a root only app). I wanted to buy something but I don't have google play services on my phone because I don't trust them because they track and log my data so I couldn't buy anything from the play store. So I took a titanium backup and loaded cod mobile up on my pc, restored my titanium backup save, and had my account. Although, I guess it isn't needed to use titanium backup if this guest file is your account.

Issue with selecting clan member options since latest update

I was going to remove some inactive players from my clan when I realized I couldn’t press the yellow [•••] box that gives the option to promote or kick. After further inspection I found that I could only open that box for the top five players in the list, with the fifth cutting off two of the three options given.

I’ll post a video below as a reply that shows that I mean. It looks like the option screen for whether you want to promote or kick a member shifts down way too far.

Perpetual Zombies Mode Loading Screen

Game has played fine since update, until just now. When I attempt to open the game it just goes through a perpetual Zombies Mode commercial essentially. It begins to load as it used to with the the yellow loading bar at the bottom but then jumps to this animated short and just plays it over and over.

I'm on an iPhone if that matters. I've quit the game and tried it multiple times and not fixed it. Restarted the phone hoping to fix anything that could be wrong. Whatever I have tried I get the same result. I have been using a guest account because I do not have a facebook account so I have not attempted to uninstall and reinstall the game. Due to fears of losing my data. I mean I'm not at a crazy high level but I think I'm at 60 or around there so it isn't something I wanted to lose.

Has anyone else experienced this or aware of a possible solution?

Off to a good start

I don't exactly remember the raw JOY and EXCITEMENT and THRILL that I felt upon starting my first zombies match lol. This was survival mode. We had 4 guys but 2 ended up quitting for their own reasons. Still, it was super fun and just crazy lol. It's just SO RAW such raw feeling and this fear of dying, especially when you get caught in a horde of zombies lol. I, at first, didn't like the notion of having revives whenever you want, especially using tokens and stuff, but I suck so much, I definitely needed them. I am sooo eager, I just played a match of Hardcore Raid and we were getting demolished back to back, except around when I showed them the traps. Then the boss was a pain. It didn't really seem like my teammates were even shooting at it, assuming because I had a ray gun, which did not do more damage than my gun did, not even close.

Zombie's sound bug

So basically every time I play zombie's, during round one sound bugs out and there is mosty no sound, except my gun firing, occasional zombie grunt and rare sound of others guns firing. Once the game concludes this bug remains with just thw wind in main menu, and my own gun sound, announcer, sounds from scorestreaks and the gun firing of the guy who killed me on the kill cam.
Have to exit game for it to go away but happens again once I play zombie's.

How to save account from white screen on android

First things first CoD mobile saves all your progress online not locally so which means all your data only holds the game and tecent has the rest of your profile info on their severs.

So we are going to have to delete the app of our android phones don't worry first thing we are going step by step if you are still not sure about going through this don't commite

Things needed:

File manager any kind I'd advise Zarchiver

And something to back up your apk

Now let's get started

1.enter your file manager on your internal storage without entering any folder you should see a folder named /com.activision.callofduty.shooter
Add a few digits like a few numbers,

Example

com.activision.callofduty.shooter123

This is important since this folder contains your a file named guest that links the app to your account

2.Now enter a folder named Android/

In there you should see a folder named Obb/

You should see a folder similarly named com.activision.callofduty.shooter/ rename it the same way as the first one

3.Exit the folder and enter a folder named data

Here you should see the same folder name com.activision.callofduty.shooter/

rename it like in step one

Renaming is important has it will avoid deleting the files that the game has already created

-HERE IS ALL THE FOLDER DIRECTORY IN CASE THE REDDIT APP SCREWD IT.

./storage/emulated/0 (might differ but this is the directory of my phones storage)

./storage/emulated/0/com.activision.callofduty.shooter

/storage/emulated/0/Android/Obb/com.activision.callofduty.shooter

/storage/emulated/0/data/com.activision.callofduty.shooter

4.After you done renaming uninstall the CoD Mobile App and reinstall it again (not via Google Play store but use the back up apk or download a safe one on the web) then remove the digits that you put on your files the 3 ones I mentioned

Note

Make sure you don't delete any of the renamed folders has you might lose all your progress if you are afraid copy them in a safe folder or back them up on your PC

After every file is back ...

An Honest Review On The New Zombies Mode

Just for clarifications this is my own experience with the game and I will be comparing this mode with all other incarnations of the zombies mode (treyarch obviously).

  1. The map 6/10
    For starters what a bad choice for a first map, let's start with the major issue with this map, THE WATER, I understand zombies isn't supposed to be easy that's acceptable but when you introduce newcomers to the game that is zombies, you need to atleast start with a map that actually helps you learn and get better at the game. Shino Numa doesn't help with that at all, if anything it just makes the new players frustrated and annoyed.
    I will give them this, bravo for including an extra area to the map, the addition of Zetsubo was actually surprising especially considering how it was implemented but on the other hand why was that included, it just feels like your adding space for the sake of adding space
    When it comes to what map should have been added my first and sorta obvious choice would have been Nuke Town, it's a map that is familiar for both new and old players, map distribution is pretty good in terms of training spots and camping and the dev team could have easily used the assets that they already made. My second choice would have been any of the Tranzit areas (not Tranzit as a whole just one of the many areas), yet again familiarity and a better choice for the beginners.
    Can't say more on Shino Numa kinda miss the zipline, kinda sad that it was this underwhelming.

  2. The Zombies 3/10
    Now let me talk about the god damn titanium infused zombies. JUST WOW, how in there god damn minds did they think that zombies with that much health would be a good idea, realistically speaking I would be complaining if they had added PaP! There is no excuse for this kinda thing, they clearly tested it and I don't know how they didn't see the problem with this.
    Besides that, a.i. kinda feels a bit wankie but maybe that's just me.

  3. The Dogs 1/10
    Now where do I begin with these "bitches" pun intended, they feels so off, they are not...

Season 2 a day early?

So, yesterday they opened 3 new battle pass missions. Each was worth 600 points(3 crates). I did two if them and needed one more op skill kill for the third. I let it go until today, because season 1 said 1 day left.

Surprise, season 2 came up at the day change today.

Not only that, but I was on when the day changed and man was it glitchy before restarting. It's like they didn't even test this thing.

I want my 3 freaking crates, Tencent! Fix your damn game.

Click and hold to ADS not working in MP

Wanted to make sure it wasn’t just me, but when playing MP on the Gameloop emulator, the “Tap and hold to ADS” doesn’t work. When I hold the right click button the gun attempts to aim but fails and reverts back to hip fire. I think this bug should be fixed ASAP since it is a fundamental control bug. (This bug is not present on Zombies so this isn’t an issue on my computer)

Mystery box weapons suck with out attachments.

I think that mystery box weapons should have the ability to have attachments on them, as the type 25 and bk57 are the best guns for zombies at the moment, and everything that comes out of the box but the rpd (which I don't use), and the ray gun is trash.

Dual shock 4 not working (sorta)

First off.
Phone * OnePlus 6T
Controller * PS4 DualShock 4

Game is fully updated, runs fine. So I connect the controller and only the left stick dose what it supposed to do, the other buttons are randomly mapped and the right stick dose nothing. O is X for example.

I've tried everything but reinstalling the game, not doing that. So do I need to use a 3th party app or is it just broken?

How to FIX tap and hold to ADS (gameloop)

i fixed it by this way:

go to keymapping settings

go to zombies or br settings

notice that the "right click" button is not aligned to the zombies and br one

just align the multiplayer "right click" button in mp settings like the zombies one :)

Sound bug

Latest update

Since the latest update the game lags so bad. I walk forward and just keep getting sent back to same spot and such. Game keeps trying to reconnect. It’s really bad was not like this before update. It’s unplayable anyone else have this issue ?
