Gyroscope question

What is the purpose of it? Is it to help you aim or do you use it to look around instead of using one of your fingers? I've been practicing with it but can't seem to get it down because I still use my finger to aim and then use gyro to help me when I do ADS. Is this the correct way to use it?

BR Bots?

Playing BR from Rookie to Pro this season... I've noticed that the number of bots (or low-skill players) decrease as you climb the ladder, which is to be expected. However, sitting at Pro rank, I'm consistently reaching to top 5 with ease and reach number 1 in over 50% of my matches (granted, this stat includes matches played during Rookie rank so it's slightly skewed). I'm not saying that Pro rank is high, but it shouldn't be this easy.

Wanted to ask y'all...

  • At what rank does BR become a challenge? (i.e. you reach top 5 less than 10-15% of matches played)
  • Am I still playing against a ton of bots OR are the players at this rank still really that bad?
  • Am I actually that good?

Honestly, BR is fun to play with friends but due to a lack of challenge it's not really that satisfying. Want to see if it's just me or is this common to all ranks in BR. Thanks!

Hunter Killer Drone should be TWEAKED

Has anyone noticed your drone
🔹️Just smashing onto buildings and exploding?
🔹️They go away from your hand & that's it. God knows if it hit anyone or just flew away...
🔹️If the enemy is in the drone's path but there's an obstacle separating them, it'll still go and hit the obstacle NOT killing the Enemy.

I always leave my drone straight up into the sky, perpendicular to the ground, like a rocket, so that it achieves a good height, free of obstacles, can roam around freely without being obstructed by obstacles, lock-on to a target & kill enemies.

Also, has anyone been killed by the Drone INSPITE of equipping the COLD-BLOODED perk?

BR mode rendering lag

Has anyone ever been killed by someone who wasn't there a second ago, but you turn back & then you die. Then you can see he was there?

Has anyone also engaged in a gun fight & you get knocked out in under a second & you see all your health going down all at once.

You don't see your health going down when you get hit by one bullet.
Both of you keep firing, your health bar is full.
Suddenly you're down.

Sometimes both of you have the same gun, you shoot first & you still die.

It happened many times in BR, when I landing on somewhere, all buildings, trees moved upward, and enable me to see other players through the scene. Unfortunately, I can't easily move, because of the invisible wall always block my way.

Enemy Collision?

Ok so there's this really irritating mechanic where in a game me and the opponent run right past one another in the opposite directions THROUGH THE SAME DOOR and now it's upto who can do a faster 180` turn for the kill. I CANT be the only one whose experienced this right?

Tier Drop System?

Am I the only one who doesn’t like this idea? There’s too many hackers and stacked teams with 1 player that has UAV hack etc. not blatantly hacking but it’s definitely apparent there’s something up, at least if they completely reset ranks I’ll have less of a chance going against people like that for a while. Also, before they do all of this they need to fix the region issue. I’m only able to play with people that are not in the U.S and it’s soooooo annoying. Just because I made my account in Australia I’m forced to always be in the same zone as Australian players and I only get matched with people who are Australian or are in the same boat as me (which isn’t many that’s why this hasn’t been fixed) I think this new system could be nice just to not have to grind as much but that’s kinda what makes call of duty well..... Call Of Duty. Just please listen to the players who play everyday for multiple hours, I have a grasp on what will and won’t work. I’m not 100% against the idea because I haven’t first hand played and tested it out, but I feel like this is going to cause more issues than happiness in the community. I’m genuinely worried they won’t fix many issues and just pump out season 2 with a blind eye. What are your guys thoughts on this?

Reducing play time in S2?

Is anyone else planning to do this? I have not been paying enough attention to real life during this season and it tells in my business and chores? I cant afford it. I'll probably concentrate most on BR though MP is also is great short time fun outside ranked. Ranked mp stresses me too much with cheats and try hard with too much time.

BR Hazard Map

I wish BR had a few extra hazardous environmental eletments like weather and even pre set traps and much more falling damage. Cliffs with edges that break away under weight, sink holes, unexploded mines, radiation and stuff like that would be a lot more interesting. Maybe even wild animals like snakes in undergrowth when crawling requiring carrying anti venom.

It needs to be more than just a last man standing map, big as it is and with a few zombies.

Locked into third person after respawn.

When I put the mic on hold to talk and die... On the next spawn I was letting locked into third person view with almost no control. I've only been able to recreate the bug in search and destroy. To fix it you have to turn the mic on full time or off. My teammate in the same match when it first occurred had the issue as well.

New weapons and gameplay

*What about poison dart guns for damage over time tactics with great aim, speed and range. It could be used to easily introduce ongoing damage that may cause enemies to be distracted so a more damaging weapon can be swapped in.

  • A prisoner game mode where taking prisoner is rewarded over killing which is penalised. It means controlling damage. Maybe sleep darts should be introduced. Prisoners can be rescued and game is won when all players are prisoners or dead

*Environmental suits found in cabinets could make it possible to survive a mini nuke fallout in MP if there was a 1 minute warning to find the suit.

Always get matched with the most horrible team mates in Ranked S&D. So frustrating!

Just lost 4 S&D ranked matches in a row. Team mates kept running around like it's TDM. In crossfire, most of them were busy sniping across the map, not even bothered with the bomb. And 1 of them kept leaving after the match started. I was able to win 4 rounds. Most of the times I'd kill 4 of the enemies (since my team mates were absolutely useless) the last one would come around and kill me while I tried to plant or defuse. I swear I would've had a better chance at winning the match if I was matched with bots rather than these team mates.

I literally felt like throwing my phone at the wall. It was so frustrating!!
I guess playing ranked with randomers is never a good idea.

Is there a way to "Free look"?

In PUBG mobile, the "Free look" button (indicated by the eye icon) lets you look around without changing the direction your character is moving in.

I can't find/figure out similar functionality in CoD Mobile.

If I customize my BR controls in CoD, I see I have access to the same eye icon (screenshot below). However, when I'm actually playing the game, the eye icon is not visible and I don't have the ability to "look around".

Hello everyone! Cogster here, (IGN: Ucogi) this thread is known as the Battle Manual. It will include in-depth research on guns statistics and attachments throughout CODM.

This thread will be updated with guns and stats as the game releases them.

Before we get onto the weapons, lets go over **Attatchments** , since there seems to be a lot of confusion about them.

**Attatchments**
Laser Sight - Reduces gun spread only when used at hip fire.
Stock - Increases movement speed only when ADS by 7.7% (Aiming down sights TESTED)
Quickdraw - Increases ADS speed (THIS HAS BEEN TESTED *See notes)
FMJ - Increases weapon damage only through walls/structures (aka WALLBANG)
Suppressor - Hides you from the minimap. Also decreases gun's effective range (**See Notes)
Foregrip - Reduces gun spread only when used while ADS.
Fast Mag - Increase's reload time by X%. (Research for all guns)
Extended Mag - Increases magazine size. (Research for all guns)
*ADS while running and standing still will be increased by X%. It does not affect run to fire time.
**Decreases effective range by X%. Current weapons tested still have same #shots to kill. Needs more testing

This game feels cheap

A lot of the guns in this game just feel cheap like the sniper rifle, explosive weapons, and claymores. Also camping is really fucking annoying. Those problems become very glaring in tdm when people start tryharding. Is this just how cod is? I feel like pubg would be better. At least it's cheap but also fun.

Possible bug with scorestreaks in Hardpoint

In my last game, I noticed that when I was within the capture zone and successfully used a Hunter Killer Drone I would get +125 points (the amount of a Hardpoint kill). However normally the Hunter Killer Drone will only give something like +25 points per kill. I’m not sure if this works with other scorestreaks (since I didn’t test it) or if it just applies to Hunter Killer Drones.

Airborne skill makes BR pathetically easy

I'm around veteran 3 and its almost 100% real players everytime, so BR is fun for me. Anyways, the airborne skill is ridiculously unfair. I haven't lost a game today. Not only can it get you to beastly vantage points, tou can just pull back on the d-pad once you're at max height to float around with the wingsuit until you see someone. Then you dive bomb and slaughter them. i love this game

[Help] Molotov Cocktail not showing up in loadout?

So I completed the challenges to obtain the new score streak, it is claimed and event marked as completed, but I don't have the option to choose it in any of the loadouts like the Sparrow.

Is it going to be available after the event? Is it limited by level or something (though it should show up as greyed out in the loadout, no? I don't see it at all)? If it's a bug, is there a workaround to get it to show?

Transition PUBGM's sensitivity and accelertion to CODM.

Since the time i started this game last month, all I have been doing is trying to get the sensitivity to work for me. So, If you play both the games, or are trying to switch over to CODM from PUBGM, and you would like to have same sensitivity settings then,

In settings set the Rotation mode to Speed Acceleration.
Set acceleration value to 0.

Now your standard sensitivity will be "almost" the same as pubg. If it is 80 in pubg then it will be 80 in COD. But the best part is, setting acceleration value to 0 will make the pointer acceleration "almost" same as PUBGM's pointer acceleration.

Try it out and let me know if it works for you guys.

Unpopular Opinion On Crates

I got the DLQ-33 at tier 122 I was having a bad night and I got it after a long day at work after completing a weekly challenge. I’ve never been so happy over getting something in a game in a VERY long time, I actually really like the rarity system they have going, I haven’t been able to get a lot of things after taking my gamble with real life $ but I’ve still got captain price & a few others so far and it’s pretty cool to think you can collect these skins and they’ll be on your account forever and most wont ever be re-released which is so sick! Adds a lot of value to the game and makes getting items a lot more worth it in the long run. 6 months from now season 1 items will definitely be a little more unique when seeing a lot of newer players joining the game later down the line, it’s just a nice little virtual trophy basically and I’m all for it. So what it costs $200+ for lucky draw skins, it’s meant to be a gamble that’s the point, there’s very few that get it without spending over $10-$20 but it’s very very few. You can go all out and just waste your money getting it or you can actually enjoy the aspect of you have a certain amount of money you’re willing to spend and you spend it and don’t receive, you take your L and wait for another drop. That’s how it works 🤷🏻‍♂️ keep it as it is please 👍🏻 just make sure if people are paying a lot for crates, they better remain exclusive, no re releases like fortnite and other games. Make this game unique in that aspect!

Controller vs iPad

I'm waiting Black Friday to buy an iPad to play better, but I saw that in this update controllers will be supported.

So I thought that it would be smarter if I played CodM on my laptop, so that I have to buy only a 50€ PS4 controller, because I don't really like to play with the keyboard, instead of paying 500€~ for an iPad (Air 3 is the model i'm interested) that I would mainly use for gaming, because of the larger screen and better processor compared to my phone. For the other tasks, I still use my phone and my laptop, which also has a 14" screen, even bigger than the Air 3 10.5".
But, it was a long time ago since I played with a controller, so I don't really know if the gameplay is better or worse vs a touch screen one.

Also, I bought 1 year ago this laptop (Huawei Matebook D) for 500€ and it was extremely helpful to finish my high school studies, but now that I started to work, I rarely use it. I used to play some LoL, but PC games in general bore me. I really love playing this game and now that there's the controller support, maybe I can finally give value to this laptop again lol.

What do you guys think?

Watch out for hackers using new methods

When you are playing ranked s&d and if you see spectators getting in and out multiple times they're using esp on spectator to locate your position . Asked hacker that we met and thats what he told us since he don't want to get banned using it directly . Battle Royale kill supplies question

Hey folks,

I’ve been playing for a couple of weeks and every battle Royale I have played, 98% of my squad members share kill supplies.

In a group I only had two weapons and no ammo for either, I put out a comment I needed ammo and then was attacked by a squad member for taking some ammo from one of their kills after they had finished with the box. Now I’m wondering if I’ve been getting it wrong this whole time but I’ve always shared with my squad because we are a team. What do you guys do? Advice appreciated. I don’t want to be the asshole team mate.

Call of Duty Mobile has already been exploding and today it is releasing the new zombies mode.

I have already given you guys hundreds of tips and tricks on this game, but today these tips are coming from the best player in the entire world.

As many of you probably know, I am doing a series where I interview the top five players of each game type in Call of Duty Mobile. In this video, I interviewed Elias, who is not only the number one player in Battle Royale, but has remained the number one player much longer than anyone in the multiplayer category. Elias is incredibly talented, but more importantly he is incredibly smart, so here are his 81 tips for you guys.

Elias’s first tip is that when you are parachuting, wait until the plane gets as close to your destination as possible so that you can dive almost straight down. This will allow you to get to your destination much faster than those that parachute early and try to glide to that same area.

I asked Elias what were his three favorite places to land on the island, and he responded, “The farm, the farm, and the farm.” Ironically, I normally discourage players from landing at The Farm, but that brings us to Elias’s third tip, to always play with a good team. At The Farm you'll run into a lot of good teams, so you need to make sure that your team is better, or else you will end up dying early and losing a lot of points.

After I asked him again, he did recommend The Dock as a second option, which I think is a smarter place for those of you who aren't quite as good as Elias. If you find yourself dying even ...

SNIPING IS WEIRD NOW

Anyone got this problem after the update where you ADS with a sniper and the dot just runs towards the enemy automatically. It ruins the aim. And if theres an enemy behind an obstacle it will automatically ADS to that spot. Even if it's a brick wall and you can't see the enemy. Is it a feature? Can i turn it off?

Sniping is weird now

Any of you guys find that sniping is weird after the update? The ADS just scopes into the enemy automatically even if it's not in your crosshairs. Even found out it scopes into enemy behind walls like wall hacks. It throws my aiming off by so much. Normally i just have to scope and release because of the small button i put at my screen middle. Now it scopes and i have to re-aim

Autopickup swapping my attachments?

Does anyone have this problem:

I pick up a suppressor and it goes to my rifle.

But later, walking past a long barrel attachment, the autopickup picks that up and drops my suppressor on the ground.

How do I stop this? I want the suppressor on my guns.

Controller Support Compatibility

Doing OTG + Dongle doesn't work for me, Im using Logitech F710 and I can't get mine to work as the game requires either Generation 2 Controllers or PS4 and XBOX One thru Bluetooth.

This game to how it stands to me rn

I extremely fell off of this game since launch it was fun when i could ACTUALLY play it but constantly exiting out of every attempt for a cash grab and constant crashs only in BR mode which didnt bother me at launch as much but im getting annoyed with it now. I've stop playing the game i think 2 months and decided to try and get back into the game (i was legel 24 last time i played) and now the game wont even let me play its constantly crashing on me every single time i cant even get past the loading screen to even see my guy in the main menu ive tried unistalling and reinstalling but the problem is still there this been going on for me forna week now idk if this is a bug or anything but until then ima just keep this thing unistalled.

Ragdoll is not working :(

Hello, I know most people recommend having this setting turned off due to performance but I enjoy ragdoll physics a lot. I activate it on setting but it seems to not be applied during gameplay since the death animations still kick in. Does anyone else happen to have this problem?

Finding your best sensitivity?

Okay so, am a fairly decent player hv a kd of almost 3 and grinded to pro this season (started playing within the last 20 days of the season) - I do good each game and what I am trying to know is how did you guys found out your perfect sensitivity and how long did you gave it to get embedded in your muscle memory?

For some reason i think i still haven't founded the perfect sensitivity for my self. I know and have tried almost all the known ways to find it such as 360 in one swipe, 180 in swipe and 90 in one swipe... with my current sensitivity am doing pretty good but I am sure this is not what I would call perfect cause i can't laser lock onto opponents like i should. This is my first mobile fps - i come from the console world so all you mobile experts, i will appreciate to know how you found your perfect sensitivity and how were you able to have a god-like laser aim on your mobile device.

PS: I am talking in terms of a mobile device (phone) not the ipad.

How to get the new Zombies update?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 (not sure if that makes a difference). I've heard that the update came out today but I can't see any way to update it. I've tried going to the Play Store and restarting my phone but nothing. It came out at 5am central time and it is now 1pm and still can't see anything.

Question about controller layout customization

Not sure if anyone knows yet, but since I think there was controller support in some of the alpha/beta stages Ill ask: What level of control customization is there for using bluetooth controllers? More specifically, Playing on consoles I use the "Legacy" stick layout for FPS games, (comes from Goldeneye being my first FPS and the controls have just stuck) and I'm wondering if that is an option i'll be able to choose on CoDm as well.

Is using gfx tools in this game worth it

I know the risk of getting banned in this game. I use gfx tools in PUBG for over a year without getting banned. It really help me a lot on frame rate and CQC fights. I found this gfx tool for COD. I want to try it so bad but I don't want to get banned. Is it worth it and what are the chances of getting banned?

Sprint breaking

This has happened to me twice, but somehow my sprint breaks in a match, like I can't toggle it in any way it just breaks and there's literally nothing I can do to fix it in the match, I tried. I think it happens when someone kills me just as my sprint is being toggled then it just removes the sprint joystick feature and the ability for me sprint regularly when going forward as toggled in the options, this is absolutely game breaking to me as I can't move as fast or slide. Please fix this, I don't know how this is even possible.

Controller PS4

So I downloaded the Garena version using vpn and all that stuff.
Everything working fine besides my controller.
The thing is that it reads my controller but my buttons are completely mixed up and my analogs will only move forward and backwards I can't for the love of me turn left or right.
Does anyone what might be causing it? I am concerned the same will happen on the global version.

Pet peeves

The aim button is way too small and off center.
(Very annoying when I'm trying to put my sight up but I miss the button)

The range of motion when aim/shooting with the right fire button is horrible. You can only pan like 4 feet.

The melee button is a horrible design. Have the option always be there rather than prevent me from shooting and slicing when the opponent is too far so I miss and 99% of the time he shoots and kills me when this happens.

If my team mate shoots my vehicle and it explodes, why is it killing me? That's friendly fire. They're grenades don't kill me, why does this?

The amount of time for invincibility is at too long. I bet spawn camping is prevented but seriously, it's like 5 seconds. If you don't know where the spawn camper is and be ready to shoot him, that's on you. Sucks to suck. Would make more sense if it was 2 seconds.

There are definately way more flaws to the design of the game but this is off the top of my head.

Anyone else genuinely feel bad for the people that buy crates?

Everybody can buy what they want with their money, but this subreddit is like going into a casino. Everybody’s dumping hundreds into these machines and coming out empty handed, and then they have this euphoric high of “WOW I GOT DISPROPORTIONAL PRICE”, until ten minutes later when they check their bank account and realize they can’t afford much anything else now. I dunno, it’s just disappointing seeing all these people continuously gamble their money to activision, fueling the microtransaction cycle and the thought of feeling good for it. It hurts me to see that.

Other than the Captain Zoom ray gun they keep showing what weapons are good for killing zombies?.
If you use a flamethrower on do they just keep going?, and how about a sticky hand grenade Kill Em you know fun stuff oh also does the sparrow work on them if you get it in the game mode?.

Kill streak set at Predator Missile-Chopper-VTOL

I noticed since yesterday that say I get to the chopper on the first half of my kill streaks. I use the Predator missile the first round. Queue second round without dying. I’ll get more kills and it awards me another predator missile when it should be the VTOL.

New update is a buggy mess

Since the update, I have been experiencing quite a number of bugs. To name a few:

  1. Scorestreaks are hard to press sometime. Feels delayed at times.
  2. Some skins don't show the red glow (enemy indicator)
  3. Finished up all bullets of scythe but gun won't go away.
  4. Very High and Max framerate though phone is capable (Snapdragon 845) while other who have lower specs still have the framerate options (Snapdragon 712)
  5. Dunno if this is a bug or optimization in stats but my KD dropped from 2.78 to 2.53 after the update.
  6. Some have reported sounds suddenly gone.
  7. Sensitivity doesn't feel the same though nothing was changed.

What other bugs have you been experiencing?

3D touch setting is gone

As the title, 3D touch setting is gone on Ios.
Though i can still use 3d touch in MP and BR as my previous setting is using 3D touch.
But i cannot change the the setting and activate it on zombie mode.

On a side note, controller support is addes and i can use dualshock 4 in game. It’s a nice option.

Zombies Mode is way too hard. Even with Squads.

Before you say get gud. The problem is it takes like 10 raygun ammo to destroy a single normal zombie on round 6. And it takes 2 whole clips to destroy a normal zombie too. Makes no sense and its even harder than all the older games like Bo3 and Waw. Why would they make a mobile game so hard? All the squads i joined downed millions times. They have a hard time too.

I can’t be the only one where this will be my first time playing Zombies.

I don’t typically play a lot of CoD, I always played Halo back in the 360 days. When I did get a CoD, it was never Black Ops or anything like that. I guess what I wonder is, what do I expect in a Zombies mode? Is it something you can play without friends and is it genuinely fun? I've been doing these and so far I've been getting pretty good success beating hc mode with pubs.

Not buying any weapon till 1.6k for the one level down mystery box

Getting to the NE area ASAP for the akm + bottle

Getting the reload speed buff + the other other that gives you a speed boost after getting hit.

Season 2 update is amazing!

Aside from the new zombies mode, the quality of life changes is great.

  • Bunny hopping while aiming down sight feels much satisfying now. Idk if it's placebo but I love it.
  • The reload bug is now fixed!
  • the slight changes in ui and animations in menu makes the game more sleek.
  • using knife is much better now
  • Marking system in MP is nice especially on SnD
  • Game runs more optimized now and my phone runs less warmer after the patch.

How to patch CODM November Update in Gameloop

Yo Guys,

I've been playing Call of Duty today and then I noticed there's an update in Play Store.

I've installed it on my phone and it worked perfectly, I was so excited to try it on Tencent Gaming Buddy which is now Gameloop but it didn't work.

I received like a 5024 error, I don't know what the exact code is but you won't be able to play with an old version of CODM when you've logged your account in an updated version.

I spent a couple of minutes to research about it, so I can play CODM on Gameloop but I found nothing. So I did what I usually do I tinker with stuff until I made it worked.

So here are the steps.

1. First Open your Gameloop Program (you'll see the games you've installed here) adlib

2. Go to the next tab and you'll see Google Installer Open and Install it. Adlib

3. Click Google Play and search for CODM - update it from there 

4. Error receive on CODM that your device is not compatible

5. Make sure your settings is maxed out on Gameloop

6. Completely Exit Gameloop and Restart

7. Now you're ready to play

That's it! Enjoy!

3D Touch option gone after update?

After downloading the update I noticed that the 3D Touch box option is gone from where it usually is. 3D Touch still works for my existing settings (mp / br) but for zombies I’m stuck with aim fire button cause there’s no option to enable it.

Anyone has the same issue?

Is there even any point in using any other gun?

The game feels kinda not balanced right now. I am level 117 and the only gun I am using as my main is the AKS74U. I have both the Metal Note and Dawn skins for it.

I have gotten some really great skins like the electric HG40 and baloons BK from the pumpkin event etc. But nothing feels good. AKS has the best mobility and allows you to just move like a monster super fast and has a lot of damage and good fire rate. Using some other guns in ranked feels pointless and that is the case. Even all the pro players are using it only.

As for snipers, no point in using anything except DLq

What's with the matchmaking?

Why is it I keep getting matched with people double the level of the highest level person on my team? I'm not exactly the best at this game so we get destroyed. It doesn't help the bots are awful, they're worse than even the worst human player.

I'd be happier if the 3v3 had scaled bots, but with how it is, I get games like this: 30-40 to us, all those points between 3 human players. Each bot on the team with around 10-20 deaths. The other team gets their 50, 2 of them around level 100-200. The third just kinda there, and the bots with 0-10 deaths. All the bots have 0 kills. Our humans are about level 20-80. Overall it's just an awful time.

How does the game decide to match people? Because a lot of the time I am nowhere near as good as the other teams players. My only guess is its using how good someone is against people of the same level, then ignoring the levels... so someone that's bad at the rank they're at, will be matched with bad players of all ranks. That doesn't really make sense to me though... it's just annoying.

zombie map guide?

so after updating i joined a random zombie mode from world chat. it turns out to be hard-core.

i have no idea what im doin, a few rounds in and zombies need more than 1 magazine to kill! then somehow i got teleported to a separate place that looks like a laboratory kinda.

TLDR; it was a disaster! i really need an indepth guide to the map. like the rotating blade thing that i saw on some gameplays. and what is the virtical beam of light for?

I keep seeing all these posts about “those motherfuckers delayed the update” So? Do y’all want something that may very well be broken, or do y’all wanna suck it the fuck up for maybe a day or two while they ensure quality content? While I’m not acutely aware of what may be going on behind the scenes, as someone who’s put a LOT of time into programming, I know that there will be game breaking issues that pop up out of the blue for seemingly no reason. Please be patient with the devs, it’s coming soon enough.
