Can we cool it with the "I found hackers" posts?

I get it. You ran into some hackers, it sucks. It's happened to me, and most everyone on this subreddit. We all know they are there, the devs know they are there, please stop telling us about them. Community outcry means almost nothing to Tencent unless it costs them money, and the game is taking in cash for them. They do care enough to try and stop it tho. They are working on it. However, every online game has hackers. Always has been, always will be. Stop being surprised and filling the sub with useless posts 30 times a day.

Hardpoint Strategy: pile-in or spread out?

Which have you found more effective? Have everyone pile into the hardpoint and defend all directions? Or send in two or three people and have the rest take up positions outside and pick off the attackers?

Running with random squads and bots, lucky if I can attempt either. If I see two or three people run in and there's a UAV up, I might stay out and try to ambush the other team charging in.

Game closing for no reason.

Today I entered a ranked game and my game closed itself for no reason.Then,I got to some search and destroy games,the same.the game closed itself either before entering the match,or few moments after.
Somebody knows why?or how I can fix it?

Number of Bots in Battle Royale

Do we have any real idea on how many bots are inserted into an average BR match? It didn't take many rounds to realize that far too many "players" have the exact same responses upon entering combat, when struck via sniper rifle, etc. They seem to be more prolific in FFA matches.

It would be difficult to convince me that less than three quarters of the characters are controlled by other players. THis is further evidenced by how my countdown pre-match timer begins at ~78 seconds nine out of ten times. Does the game even have the technical capacity to handle 100 human players? Thoughts?

Where are the data centers

Why is the ping insanely high always. On Fortnite mobile I get like 10 ping but on this game always 50+, Sometimes 80. Doesn’t make sense. When I watch the kill cam sometimes my actions are being played on my screen although do not input in the game due to latency. Anyone can relate or has feedback?

Is there an executive customer relations email address to do with this game like there is with other companies when you get nowhere with level 1 customer service?

TLDR the game has glitched repeatedly causing me to miss out on my rewards or points. Customer service in game just copied and pasted responses.

My team came first in a battle royale but the game cut out and said unable to retrieve player info. I was then fined points on my rank and also didn’t get the points we got through winning. As now I’m master 3 it takes ages to get decent points so the fine really hit.

This isn’t the first issue I’ve had with the game cutting out and causing me to miss out on rewards. The other day I was opening some of my crates from the battle pass (I’m level 134 and hadn’t opened the last six crates) and one of my in game friends invited me to a battle royale just as the screen was displaying the crate dropping animation. The screen then stayed frozen on the crate dropping and didn’t clear or display rewards so I had to reboot the app. When logging in again there was nothing not even more of those credits you get when you’ve got duplicate items. In other words my crates vanished.

With the BR issue I contacted in the in game contact thing and just got a copy and pasted reply about logging out and abandoning your teammates. I replied trying to explain that the game had glitches out and got the same copied and pasted reply about penalties for abandoning teammates.

So now I want to go full Karen and speak to somebody higher- is there an executive customer service team who don’t just copy paste?

It's officially "30" October in COD M and...

What a disappointment...
We got more loot boxes, new Halloween themed weapons to purchase with COD Points and... Just a free Arctic 50 for free players.
What's worse is not zombie mode which did not release, which is kinda okay since no one OFFICIALLY did announce it, but what bothers me is how the Molotov and Airborne class are still locked...
Overall, this halloween update is a disaster for both the content we got and the lucky draw scam.

PC emulator bug

I play the game on the Gameloop emulator, and when in in the middle of the match, when i want to ADS the whole game stops responding and a background thing from the main windows dashboard appears. Is there a way to prevent that from happening??

It's very hard to rank your tier up once you get to the 50's.

Once you hit Tier 50, you get less and less challenges to do. The only ones you have to look forward to are the shitty 50 point daily ones. There's SERIOUSLY no way to rank up your tier if you're even halfway into the first 100. I mean, god, really? Did they have no foresight at all when developing this game?

The duplicate item thing in crates needs to be changed

To start of just getting credits back is a terrible mechanic. if you bought the crate with cp you should be able to earn cp or get some back from a duplicate. if you didn't buy it getting credits are understandable like a daily crate or something like that. Or make it so you can't get duplicates. I opened the emote crate 6 times I got 4 duplicates 1 thing of credits and finally got clucked up. That sounds like terrible odds if I got two duplicates twice. Sorry for the long text but this really needs to be changed.

Every loot item in BR appears as a box.

Does this have to do with graphic settings or is it a bug? Every item on the floor just appears as a green box, and weapons appear as a brown box. You won't know what it is until you come near them and a menu tells you what it is. My current graphic settings is low because I have a potato phone. But I've seen videos set on low graphics but the items appear as what they are supposed to. Guns appear as guns, vests as vests, etc

Popular Youtuber pointing out hackers / tencent might be getting black money from hack sites

Ferg’s video pointing out hackers

Tencent never does anything to block off cheats .
Their anti cheat on PUBG mobile just being there to have an excuses . Does not block hack at all . One of the biggest reason why i quit pubg .

At this point i’m wondering tencent might be getting black money from the hack sites or somebody inside developing team leaking out source code to hackers with either good money on every patch or splitting profit between that insider and hack sites .

Tencent got whole bunch of explanation to do . Either admit their development is weak or better catch that insider whos leaking the source codes to bypass .

Make a legit game not a fake game that looks legit on outside but full of shit inside .

Is it just me or is the controling full of bugs?

I am playing since the very first day of the global release. I am in Thailand right now so the standard version isn't supported here but the south east asian version "isn't available in my country" therefor i had to download an apk from some apk store app thingy. And the controling has this very annoying habit to just stop reacting, or to think i want to fire when i am using the joystick, or you can literally see i am using the joystick but nothing is working. I don't have sweaty hands (most of the time) when that happens. I would be glad if someone has/had the same problem and has any form of solution. Sorry for my bad grammar

Operator skill mission broken

Hey guys just wanted to know if anybody else was unable to clear the operator kill mission ? (Kill 8 enemies with an operator skill in MP matches).

Invisible opponents

Ayt so I was doing some regular matches until somehow I was fighting a entire team filled with some X-men invisible type shit. Like bro I had to do some echo location type crap and just listen to where I hear noise then spray and pray. Somehow I was able to get a UAV and at that point me and boys were able to start killing these invisible dudes. Idk if it’s a hack or me and my friends just had some bug or some crap like that, but still that match was absolute bullshit.

Battle Royale Controls Issue

Has anyone encountered this issue? Basically, at the start of every BR match, I'm unable to move. Then After landing, I'm stuck in a position as if I'm holding a knife, unable to loot, attack or do anything with my hands... It's really frustrating, getting killed without a means of defending yourself everytime.

Well...are they my enemy, or not?: allies can end up having red markers on them too for some reason.

Alright, who broke my scope?: the sniper scope in BR mode is not aligned correctly. Every other scope works as intended.

Script ķįťțíə§: people are using scripts and such to get an unfair advantage like aimbot, see through walls, and speed boosts. Also, public service announcement: stop calling them "hackers"...they're not. They aren't breaking vaults or shutting down security grids, just giving themselves unfair advantages in a broken shooter game. They're script kitties at best. Don't give them the cool name, they don't deserve it.

The dead, yet standing, corpse: killing some players will make a player model show up for a small duration of time either standing, crouching, or crawling.

more kill cam issues: players don't exist in the kill cam, player models can be corrupted, etc...alrighty, moving on.

it's a dud: sometimes smoke grenades don't go off.

ah yes, invisible walls: invisible walls which are unnecessarily tall can prevent players from destroying things with rockets.

arrows are inconsistent: sometimes arrows will go through walls with their explosion, other times it won't.

YOU SHOULDN'T BE ABLE TO SEE ME DAMMIT!: the killer drone can ignore the cold blooded perk.

oh yeah, totally counts: VTOL kills count as hardpoint kill if you used it while on the hardpoint.

So...where am I?: if killed while using the VTOL, your green marker doesn't update.

The lack of challenges just doesn’t keep me engage to keep grinding. Especially the rewards we earn is just pathetic, at this stage I don’t understand how they think doing events with xp cards is acceptable. It’s just a lack of creativity or theyre really saving all the good stuff for loot crates.

i got constantly banned for a 24 Hour period. . . i need some answers, WHY!! ?

i am playing on PC using BlueStacks. Today at around 3:15 pm, after returning to match lobby from a Multiplayer ranked match, i suddenly got the message of some connection error and the next thing.. i got the banned message showing. i was playing via Facebook login.

the same happened to the guest account i tried to use. I was able to play till i reached level 6 and BAM!! the same thing.

does anyone know the reason?

Gameloop help (Low Fps issue)

Currently using the Gameloop Emulator on laptop (Dell xps 15 - GTX 1050Ti)
My game doesn't go above 30 fps, I've set Gameloop to run with the dedicated graphics card in Nvidia settings and in game settings ive set Fps to Max and graphics as medium. I still only get 28-30 Fps !
(Battery saver mode is disabled)

Been banned following a game.

Hi,

I've received a ban, granted only a 1 day ban, but I have no idea as to why. Unless I'm being punished for kicking people's asses. I was farming the pumpkin event on multiplayer random maps and at the end of the match I got kicked off and a message saying "Your account has been banned until 31/10/19"

Am I the only one receiving these bans? Is it related to the apparent hackers? (I've not encountered any yet thankfully) Was it my score? I tried to contact support but the links keep going back to the title screen and the activision site only seems to have support for console or steam players whereas I play on android and IOS.

Clan battles.

I know these are already a thing, but is there a place where we are keeping track or organizing the events? I think it would be really cool to start (or join) a few clans, create a flair for them here in the subreddit and every month we could have big private clan battles.

Each clan would have their own private practice and qualifying rounds. Deciding amongst themselves through private matches who will compete in the "official" reddit clan battles. Then at the end of the month, after each clans weekly qualifying matches, the three or four (or five or six, however many) clans could fight in a battle, each winning clan moving forward in the matches until only two are remaining.

The last two fight it out with spectators either in the matches or through a recording. Posting the final results and gaining bragging rights (and possibly rewards if enough people are into this idea)

Let's discuss this, it sounds really cool to me and if there is already something like this I would like to be aware.

iOS 3d touch is an advantage

I'm at the point where I cant really tell the difference between people using triggers or 3d touch or the hair triggers on some androids.

Shooting Glitch

Toxic reactions on happy achievements

Often when I see a post on this thread with someone showing happiness about their achievements or amount of kills the first thing that gets commented is how they only played against bots so they didn’t achieve anything, they aren’t unique and are actually stupid for posting their achievement. This honestly is starting to drive me nuts, why don’t you just congratulate someone instead of only trying to make them feel bad?

I am very much aware that there are lots of bots in the game, but that doesn’t mean you should take someone’s happy moment away by commenting something rude.

False Ban Reports

I have been seeing a lot of people been banned for “no reason”. Lol, I’m scared I’m gonna get banned for no reason. People can report you even if you’re not hacking or breaking the rules. Does anyone know if they auto ban for a certain number of reports? I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on the game and I don’t want to be banned for no reason. I guess some of these people making reports of getting banned for no reason could be lying, but I’m just worried about actually getting banned for no reason.

Wolf skin in new lootbox?

Hello, does anyone already have the new wolf skin which was added recently in new loot box? I really love it but I don't want to spend 20+ USD for a chance to get it. In info they are saying that after 10 open boxes is chance of getting it around 96% but I am not sure after discussions about cpt price.
I am not kind of person who would gamble with microtransactions. I don't mind paying for season pass because I know what I am getting as reward for playing. But RNG loot box is opposite of that.

Motherfuckers are basically wall hacking and aiming at you before you come around the corner. Beating them is basically better than beating a real person at times!

Theater mode!

I feel like theater mode should be implemented into the game, alongside fixing various bugs. I can’t imagine how many times I had went on a big streak, hit sick wallbangs, or collats. The kill cams are a little wonky at times but I feel as it would be a nice feature to add if possible.

Why is everyone in BR bad?

In normal games, I often go against really amazing players. Yet I've played 3 BR games today and I've gotten first every time. I'm not amazing, in fact, sometimes I've just walked up to somebody and knifed them just to see if they could kill me before I got close enough. I think the most damage I've taken in a game today has been 20. Are these bots or something? Not shitposting, am I just getting matched against bad people? I started a few days ago.

Lag and FPS drop on Battle Royale mode.

Is this an optimization issue?
Recently when I received the Halloween update, I got massive FPS drop on BR mode.
Even with the lowest settings, I only get 15-20fps max.
For 5 seconds it goes to 60fps then goes down to 25fps.
However, on multiplayer I get constant 60fps.

I am using a Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro with Snapdragon 855.
There's no way this phone will lag while playing CODM.

Lagging issues on iPhone 6s Plus?

Is anyone who is playing on a 6s Plus having lag issues? My game was sooooo smooth when I first started playing and it’s been about 2 weeks and for the last few days everything is laggy and unplayable. Why do some people prefer iron sights on some guns like the AK-47. I personally use red dot on all SMGs and ARs as it gives a better peripheral vision. Is the sight you use just dependent on your playstyle or do some guns do better with some sights. Sorry if this has been asked before.

Ranked MP not fun

It just seems often other players are absolute stunning or cheating. I know there are good players but I'm still Vet 5 and the amount of enemies running, strafing, sliding, aiming and shooting, killing me in a few hits very fast seems suspicious. It feels like I'm not only up against good players but a lot of cheats, especially as kill cams show very accurate tracking through obstacles. However I'm now seeing some players seemingly absorbing big damage and not dying.

I feel ranked makes some people so determined to be the best they will do anything to achieve it. Yes I do know about claw players being so good and that's fine but so many at vet 5?

In unranked multiplayer it's often a different story but many enemies are bots so obviously easier kills. Still, I would rather play multiplayer with people either my own level or those not chasing a personal agenda, with bots in the mix and have fun. I know my limitations.

I already posted this exact message on r/codmobile but have realized that this subreddit has a larger community so I decided to share it here as well.

So i’ve been playing Call of Duty Mobile for a few weeks now after spending nearly two years on PUBG Mobile. I never really took attention to bots on PUBG Mobile but now I just can’t get away from them. If you’re wondering if there are bots in Call of Duty Mobile, through my experiments, there are 100% bots. I’ve recently hit Legendary in battle royale and have realized that almost every single game I come across multiple names that I recognize from past matches. At first I thought this was just a coincidence assuming i’m playing against people in my region, but I soon came to realize that these people were bots as they would place down a medic kit and just stare into space, or run in circles and not shoot back at me. Another thing I noticed about these bots is that almost all of their names have either accent marks or foreign characters such as Chinese or Russian. I believe that this is on purpose to make it harder for us to search up their names when adding friends. I have come across a few easy to type names however and when searching them the results came back empty as if the player doesn’t exist. But it doesn’t stop there, I have also come across bots in casual multiplayer. Every once in a while i’ll be placed in a casual multiplayer match in which the other 9 players are all the exact same rank as me and around the same level as me, at first I thought this was the game finally making some good matchmaking efforts but then again I began to notice some familiar names and occurrences. The same names I was seeing in battle royale in fact. Now i’ve read articles that basically say you only play against bots in your early levels or early ranks, but considering i’m a Level 112, Pro II... that’s most likely not true. I will continue to play COD Mobile as it is a very fun game to pass time, but i’m pretty unhappy knowing i’m playing against bots on multiple occasi...

I got on call of duty mobile and went into a domination match and when I selected my load out it said “connection error” then proceeded with a pop up saying my account has been banned for 10 years. There is no “best weapon”.

Seriously, it’s redundant, useless and misleading. Each weapon and their effectivity mostly depends on one’s skill level and play style. I noticed that the performance of a lot of weapons are on parr with each other as I have a very mixed play style. The only weapons I absolutely am not able to use are shotguns in general, and the M4LMG. Each weapon has a specific set of attributes that can complement for your weaknesses. I’ve noticed a lot of people saying something along the lines of “(Gun name) is best weapon!!”, and it’s a bit of an exaggeration. The game is very balanced right now, so there’s really not much use to saying that there’s an actual “best”. You won’t contribute to anything other than making a weapon overrated, look overpowered, and eventually shunned and looked down upon by the community. Sure, there are good weapons, and there are great weapons, but it would really depend on your level of skill.

In TDM deaths should decrease score.

It's pretty frustrating to lose matches where your K/D is >1, but your team is all <1, causing the loss. What's worse is they often get the high score and might walk away rewarded, thinking they did well.

Other modes you can write off K/D a little for strategy, but TDM the goal is kills without deaths.

How to slide sideways?

I’ve been watching some legendary-rank MP gameplay on YouTube (ferg, godzly, etc) and it seems like they all move a certain way and often slide sideways and peek out but I can only slide in the direction I’m sprinting which is only forward and then turn and aim. If I move left or right it cancels the sprint and I start walking slowly. Does anyone know how they are doing this? I’ve tried looking at the buttons being pressed on their screen to practice the sequence but it’s too transparent to see clearly. Any help would be appreciated.

It took me exactly a month to get here and on an average I played around an hour every day.

So its safe to say it takes 25+ hours to get there but how were there players who are level 130 etc one week into the game were they literally playing the whole day.

Ayt so these dudes with the hacks...bro its a big turn off for me. As I’m playing getting those killstreaks my dick hard ready to release my load until suddenly a hacker kills me through the wall and I get blue balled. My dick now soft can’t get erect anymore because of that one death from the hacker. Sometimes while playing, I prematurely ejaculate while fantasizing about the kills i might get this match, but the next thing I know I die from the limped dick couch potato who shoots me through the wall. has anyone noticed how much more powerful UAVs are in this game than normal COD titles?

In the COD games I can remember you only get to see the position of enemies as the radar sweeps past them. In this game you get constant updates of their position, similar to a Blackbird (minus it showing you what direction they are facing).

It really makes Ghost or Launchers extremely valuable. Maybe we will see a change to it in the future but I kind of doubt it.

TRIP MINE disappearing

I've noticed several times. I place a trip mine & I get killed almost immediately. The trip mine vanishes in the kill-cam.

Sometimes, I throw a trip-mine, but just before it lands, I die, it vanishes again.

Sometimes I place one & an enemy walks, it bursts & nothing happens to him.

Does a trip-mine after being planted disappear if no enemy activates it?

One week ban

I downloaded COD mobile three weeks ago now and I have been completely absorbed by the game, so much so that I also bought the season pass. My nickname is Riccatt.

Normally I play through two different devices: my cell phone, especially when I'm away from home, and my tablet, which I normally keep at home (and which is more convenient because of the size).

After playing for these three weeks almost every day, at the end of a game I played today the game lost connection and, following an attempt to login, I received the following error message: "Your account has been suspended. Suspension deadline: 2019-10-06 23:51:48. (15035) ". Also, if I try to click on "help" on the error screen nothing happens, and the homescreen loop stats, so I'm opening this ticket.

I did a lot of research on the internet to try to understand the nature of this error. Clearly, while complaining I am stating that I do not use any kind of cheat, but I also want to highlight and be precise on some of the aspects that I have seen emerge on the internet.

Yes, I use two different devices (as mentioned above), obviously connecting to each of them via my Facebook account (which responds to the same email I registered with on the Activision website). No, I do not use any type of VPN or other software to modify my location. Normally I play from home or, if I'm out, I use the mobile data connection or from some WiFi (e.g. other mates' WiFi).

I tried to contact the Ambassadors via chat, but they could not give me any help or clarification. Moreover, in the Activision support page they states that you will receive a reply whithin 24hours (but of course this has not been the case, since a few days have passed). I contacted Activision support via their website, Facebook page, Twitter profile and Reddit support account. No reply received yet.

It seems absurd to me, even for a week ban, not being able to have any kind of appeal or instant help to be able to solve the problem immediately, proving that no cheat/violation/etc against Activision, COD ...

New strategy to get really good teammates.

So for a couple of days now what I do is when playing multiplayer I send a friend request to the top 2 players out of the 10 players and my success rate of getting them to join me in ranked is 20%.
Then we play ranked and send a friend request to the best players by 6-7 matches our team becomes full of skilled players and its really hard to win against us although I become the worst performing teammate . In one game I legit had 0 kills (ping was too high) we still won though ,I am the team leader so they can't kick me out some players leave others join the one joining are even better players.

We look at the $20 a gun price tag and know that it’s crazy, however, ten cent knows this. They completely expect that well avoid it, yet it’s still profitable; here’s why:

Pretend you sold a single gun at the $20 price tag. That’s $20 in revenue.
Now let’s pretend you sold the same gun at $1 and 15 people bought it. That’s $15 in revenue.

While that’s not exactly difficult math, here’s where it gets interesting. The person who’s willing to buy that gun at a dollar is reasonable. They may even go on to buy 7 guns at that price, but here’s the issue, they probably will think they’ve bought enough after that. The people who bought the $20 gun don’t; their shopping habits become irrational. They’ll buy the next, and the next, until they have everything, regardless of the price tags.

This is why they say 2% of people fund freemium games. Also, think about the Halloween spin:

Not only was there probably false advertising, the last spin before the last two good items is $30. Still a lot of money, but the person who’s already sunk all their money this far will feel extremely compelled to finish it, and that’s where they get you with the crazy price tags, totaling around $240

Fire button not working

Has anyone experienced it?

It usually happens when you're too close to a vertical surface, a ❌ mark appears, during which the gun doesn't fire even if you press it. Now if you hold the fire button & come far from the surface, the ❌ mark disappears but the gun still doesn't fire. You'll have to leave the button & press it again.

Sometimes, when the above isn't happening, the fire button STILL doesn't work & I've died SO MANY times, it's frustrating.

Have you any of you experienced it too?

Hackers have just ruined the game!

In literally every ranked match in higher levels you face Hackers with ( Wallhack and Aimbots) you can see it obviously in the killcam! I told someone that he is a hacker and out of the blue after that he disconnected and connected again after a while his whole level was different and much weaker!
The hacking topic has been discussed more on IFreg YouTube channel ( the #1 ranked player ) he complained before that the leaderboard was filled with hackers! If something very obvious like the leaderboard contains hackers then what about lower level? WTF?!
Not neglecting the PC emulator vs Mobile user too.
The game has become rubbish.

A cool idea in my opinion

I think they should change the team death match to 50 kills. Once a team reaches 45 kills, the other team gets one life per person and no more respawns. I feel like this could take away from top players on their team losing since they had someone going 1-12 on their team. Could also result in more communication trying to find the remaining players. Just an idea I thought I’d share.

Lost all my save game and points

Used to play with guest account was on 34 level with a username.
Tried logging into Facebook but it never happened so I factory reset my android device and now my save game is lost as it was never logged in with Facebook.

So I’m Elite 1 in BR. I just played a solo squad match and placed 17/26 teams, but with 15 KILLS! I still got +4 points for it. Like come on 15 kills and only 4 points?! Now I know that they give you points by placement, but can we change that so we can balance placement points with kill points.

What it will do: have better players in higher leagues, because there are so many bad players that just camp to the end of the game.

So I’ll I’m asking is for the point system to include kills and placement

Is their a reason that I, a lvl 20 Rookie II, am being put against Veterns and lvl 100s.

It's stupid, this is public matching yet I'm being put up against Veteran and Emulator players. I was an above average player in my other lobbies yet I'm being trashed on now I'm being put against people who have hundreds of hours more experience than me. This is dumb, public is not ranked. Anti aliasing

I use a Galaxy Note 9, so a very capable phone with a vapor chamber (water cooling) and I've always had the option for anti aliasing until the other night, I rebooted my game and instantly noticed it looked a lot fuzzier. This annoys me because my phone is completely capable of maxing this game out and it had absolutely no issues using anti aliasing and they took my option away. Any fix?

Voice chat is breaking my game

I've noticed a number of people repeatedly reporting the same bugs, namely

  1. Fade to black after the match, but permanently. Never getting to the loading screen.

  2. Having crashing issues with friends, but not alone.

  3. Freezing on the countdown timer.

  4. Chat working in the lobby, but not in the match, and vice versa.

I've been experiencing all of the following since launch. I am using Gameloop to play on PC. I was originally using Bluestacks, but I switched because I found out it's made my the developers and because I was having these same issues and more on Bluestacks. I've tried every emulator, and Gameloop gives me the best experience. I've had a rock-solid experience with 60fps and no input issues what so ever.

Anyway, I noticed the game wouldn't do any of these when my friends and I used Discord instead of the in-game chat. So I've fiddled with it and I've realized that it's somehow the attempt to connect to the match chat that's causing the issue. I've so far seen no one make or mention this connection to these issues. Hopefully, I've helped someone find a temporary workaround for what could be a game-ender for people who just want to play with their friends.

So while I'm content to keep playing with Discord being my main line of communication, I'd also like to use voice to connect to people outside of my Discord friends without having to spam my invite link at everyone. Does anyone know of a good fix?

Audio in this game is pretty worthless

Considering that this is a mobile game and a lot of people will be playing on the go or during some in between time, I think that making audio the only way to determine the position of an enemy to be a poor choice. Additionally, the Alert perk is also quite useless because once again, many people aren’t listening very hard. Instead, I would propose a rework of Alert, instead making it give additional audiovisual cues so to make the game less reliant on audio. The cues could activate under specific conditions, for example running up stairs, sliding, or just getting into very close proximity of the user. Dead Silence, however, would in turn block this ability.

What is the deal with Search and Destroy?

First off, I'd like to start out by saying it's the most frustrating game mode. One game can last up to 10 minutes and I prefer playing many games in a shorter space of time, but hey, that's just preference.

I've only in the past couple of days unlocked it in ranked, and quite frankly the way people play is confusing and frustrating me.

The objective is obviously, get the bomb to a target. Don't get shot because you don't respawn.

But for the majority of the game, people run straight past the bomb, and absolutely ignore the bomb.No one is interested in the bomb. It feels like people are just playing a last man standing game. I've literally taken the bomb to a target before, been shot at the target, and instead of making even the slightest attempt at planting the bomb, that's already sitting next to the target, the rest of my team just run around trying to get kills.

I just played a game, we were on the offensive team, and the bomb had been planted. There was one team member standing, and bomb was literally being defused. But the team member just stayed on the ground, avoiding being shot, instead of even making an attempt at stopping the bomb from being defused. Where is the logic in that?

I wouldn't mind if the games didn't just go on so long.

Am I missing something? Am I playing it wrong? Is it more sensible to try and eliminate the other team rather than completing the actual objective?

Rockets only is open! Here's some basic tips:

Firstly, don't aim directly at the person. That may seem odd, but explosives are very finicky, so anything that could be in the way will immediately make the explosion a dude. Instead, aim for walls, floors, or ceilings.

Secondly, don't be afraid to suicide. It doesn't count against the team if you kill someone and then blow up in the process. No harm in that.

Thirdly: try to get the high ground. Explosives are always trickier to kill with when someone has the high ground as hitting the floor just isn't an option. Just be mindful of any surrounding structures as those could get you killed.

Finally, take a holdable killstreak reward. Hunter drone and airdrop will allow you to move a lot faster and be able to flank people. Speaking of, don't use most killstreaks since many of them can be quickly destroyed by a volley of rockets.

BR: You win every single game because 50/100 are bots

Support: They never reply, literally haven’t gotten a response in 2 weeks.

They continue to post updates that don’t actually happen and have yet to say anything about the ‘Lucky Draw’ Scam.

What about the Audio Bugs during matches and Game Crashes that cause the screen to freeze and the game to make awful noises?

sorry for the rant, but im not a fan of operator skills

i dont hate them all, but the fact that they're basically earned by doing nothing and require no skill is pretty damn infuriating for me. purifier's damage is insane and even if you kill the bastard, you'll die from the burn. i thought the sparrow would be badass, but nope. also cancer. dont get me started on the war machine. scythe is okay i guess. im not complaining about the lack of skill entirely, but im complaining about the easy access to the operator skills.

it's crazy how you need a 4+ killstreak to unlock something that kills (and most of them suck. hunter killer doesnt get a kill 1/3 of the time and the predator missile will only get you 1-2 kills 5/6s of the time). yet, an operator skill is guaranteed at some point in the game and they're better than most non-utility scorestreaks. funny thing is, most scorestreaks can be countered easily (perks, rocket launchers, OTHER SCORESTREAKS). but, what about an operator skill? get gud.

i would rather they be a secondary scorestreak than a weapon on cooldown. it's insane how many games ive almost lost because the irrelevant guys get out their operator skill at the same time and just start mowing my team down. the only real counterplay is to see them before they see you, break out your operator skill in return, pray they miss, or let their timer run out. i think they're overtuned. games already snowball like crazy with scorestreaks too. not a good idea imo

Will apps like Vysor get me banned?

I use it to check my phone without needing to go get my phone. Technically you can control the phone through the PC but the functionality is very limited. In order to actually play the game, you'd have to use another app like Octopus to map keyboard inputs, and I remember from pubg that you would get banned for that.

I realized how convenient this app might be to capture gameplay but I don't want to use it if that small feature will get me banned.

My device isn't compatable

So I bought a new phone as an upgrade from my Samsung Galaxy J3 Luna Pro. I played Cod Mobile on it and I decided to try and play it on my new phone, but it says its not compatable with my current phone(Samsung Galaxy J7 Crown). I found this dissapointing and I hope they fix it/patch it to make my new device compatable. It doesn't make sense why my device isn't compatable as I have better specs and I run an upgraded OS.

Character glitch please help!!!!

I really wish Tencent would let us choose the game mode for rank, so tired of players who treats Domination like Deathmatch. If they don't want to capture bases, at least defend them ffs. Hello official cod mobile reddit i have a good question for the devs i would like to report that i think I caught a hacker in the battle royal mode this morning now i was not able to record this because i was just playing for fun but i do have that players name and i have my stats for that game on file now with that in mind the player in question who’s name is arron568 killed me with one shot now to most of you here thats easy to explain but here is where i blow your minds i was at full health and with level 3 armor and this was a pretty close engagement but he was not even aiming for my head he was not aiming at me at all i got the drop on him and he turned on me like he knew i was there i had the ninja class so he could not have heard me and he clearly did see me until he spun around anyway after the match i looked for this player and wouldn’t you know it he doesn’t even exist in battle royal or the multiplayer mode so what can you guys do ill put a pic of my after match stats so you guys can see the time and stuff

Disappointed

I have played so many different mobile games and been part of so many reddit communities over past few years but haven’t been as dissatisfied and disappointed as I am with this game....Literally whole reddit space is filled with complains and angry posts but the developers have payed no attention to it....
I feel disrespected and I am sure many of my fellow players will agree with me...The community keeps on playing the game and filling Tencent/Activision pockets with no payback...
Instead of providing quality of life updates and fixes they keep on providing useless micro transactions..
There are so many problems since launch such as hackers, bots, lucky crate scam etc but no one has officially addressed these yet!!!
I have never seen a game whose reddit space is filled with only negative reactions!!!
I hope a day comes when I am able to enjoy unranked and Battle Royale without bots and hackers!!!!

Game Suddenly Closing

Posted this a few days ago,but got no good answer:
Almost a week ago,I opened CODM and wanted to play the hard point,or some ranked games.I enter the first match and the game closes after 2 minutes.i reopen the game,enter in another match,again.And it happened like this for arround 5-8 times.Since then i got this problem, of game closing for no reason.I have a rooted Galaxy S9 Exynos,but from the launch,up until now I got no problem.All my other games and apps work fine,everything,just call of duty started closing.I get no error message from Android,or something,and neither from the app.I will try some things,but maybe you guys can help me more.

Random Things About BR

Played over 500 matches in BR. Without any doubt I can say,

- No matter what there are minimum 84 bots in a match, averagely 92-96 bots and it can go up to 99.

- If anyone you see has a character different than the default 3 ones, or has a backpack, is most likely a player.

- Everyone knows about bots, it's nothing new. So pick any of the default characters and fool real players into thinking you're a bot too. You'll be amazed how many times they let their guard down.

- You'll always stay to the late game because bots aren't present all the time in a match, in time they'll just spawn 50 meters away from you. Also makes it sniping unnecessary. Plus you might be frustrated to see an enemy pops up near you even though you're checking every possible corner. How I know? Because I use mainly the perk Scout, and after it shows there is noone in the shown area, without any entry, an enemy will appear somewhere in the middle out of blue.

- If you haven't tried, play with a squad (friends not randoms) that has a decent mic settings. Because after a while that'll be the only fun thing that makes you still wanna play this game.

So, what do you think about BR? And what would you like to add that I missed here? :)

Sniper scopes?

Maybe I'm just a noob or I'm overlooking something important but how do I attach the scope with better zoom?

I'm using Arctic .50 bats with the tactical scope because it's my only option other than the default one but I want the scope with better zoom. How do I get it? My gun is max level. I have no more unlockable attachments as far as I can tell but I see others using the same gun with a wayyy better scope.

Apparently there are two different publishers, one is Activision(for Europe) and the other one is Garena(for Asia). Anyone who feels the need to bombard me with "it's a free game" or "they don't owe you anything" can go ahead but the fact is the devs have completely screwed up all the hype and potential this game had. Sure it started off really well probably one of the best games on mobile ever but then they proceed to scam us in the worst way possible but as if that wasn't bad enough they didn't even release zombies on Halloween lol. Why release a full game a month in advance if they dont even have zombies ready? Was so sure it was coming out on Halloween but the hype is dead now.

So, I just found out about this.

I've tried Nox and Andy previously but settled with BlueStacks since it's customizable controls suitted my play style better. However though, I've spent 250$ in game to buy some cool skins and it'd be extremely upsetting to get banned for playing on BlueStacks. I started up the game just moments ago. I was surprised, as soon as i finished logging in, I was brought straight to the BR lobby and not the main menu. Equipping [Persistence]: Doubles killstreak cost, but retains points on death.

So VTOL: 1,600 (X2) = 3,200

Say you use [Persistence: Loadout 1] and attain 1,600 points.

Then on death, you switch to [Fast Recover: Loadout 2]

Now that Persistence is unequipped, do you lose all of your points? Do you now have enough for a 1,600 VTOL?

It doesn't necessarily need to be a VTOL, or Fast Recover. My question revolves around whether or not the loadouts can be exploited in such a manner.

game killing bugs

I keep experiencing the same 2 bugs that have absolutely destroyed my ranked progress.

bug 1: I have 1-tap ADS for the fire button customized for all but shotguns. sometimes when I tap to shoot, my soldier will look down the sights but my gun doesn't fire. occurs randomly, and often when it does. both MP & BR

bug 2: after respawning in MP (and between rounds for domination) my sensitivity settings change. notably from fixed rotation to something else, much less sensitive and delayed response like I've been hit with a concussion grenade. it's clearly happening as soon as I respawn. this bug is worse than bug 1 because it seems to happen every other match for me.

for the record I always play via wi-fi (strong signal)

Did weapon damage change in Battle Royale?

I’m Pro 3 in Battle Royale and have been really enjoying the game. I play duos with around an 80% win rate. I have no idea if we’re amazing or the game is just full of bots but we have a great time playing.

We’ve developed a good sense of the game but today it felt like players had a lot more health. My weapon of choice is the PDW and my friend carries an M4LMG.

It feels like it takes twice the time to kill players now. I’m just curious if there were any balance changes. I didn’t see any obvious notes in the recent thread.

Hi guys hopefully this is the right place for this, I’m having trouble getting my ad crates to load

In order for me to get the little icon to appear and watch the ad for a crate- I need to log out of Facebook on the game, login to the guest account , and then log back into Facebook then the video appears

After closing and reopening the game it will disappear -this is before I hit the daily limit for the ad crates.

Any ideas?

I’m current on my iOS version, live in the US, not playing on vpn or jailbroken phone, I’ve tried on cell data and Wi-Fi , deleted the app, restarted the phone, and reinstalled the app , have tried on an iPad on current iOS version and have to use the same work around to get the crates to load up.

Maybe just a bug needing to be fixed with an update? Curious if others having the same issue. Thanks in advance for any advice !

TL;DR can’t get ad crates to load, have done some troubleshooting and have to do a weird work around to get them to actually work

Material Penetration

I think I am misunderstanding the value of this attachment. Does anyone have knowledge as to what this is exactly?

Originally, I thought it to be just +10 dmg to a weapon's bullet and possibly additional damage (or) the ability to shoot through certain obstacles to hit players, so I always have it attached. Now I am hearing that it is either just damage, or it isn't actually damage at all and it has to do with the piercing effect of bullets through walls.

I am also seeing that there are "top tier" players who don't use MatPen at all. If it is +10dmg, or effects obstacle penetration.. why is it not mandatory?

Outrider- De Los Muertos. Incomplete skin.

I love the quality of the skin, and for $150 I expected it to come with full voice configured.
What do I mean by that?

In BR, there are a lot of things she simply doesn’t pronounce. If I mark and Arctic .50 for my friends to pick up, she won’t say “Arctic 50 here.” While all the free skins do.

But that’s not all, there is a list of other voice commands. “No Problem!”
“Striker here”
“Class upgrade” and others I didn’t have the time to stop the game to write it down.

Are you guys still in the process of completing her?
Sometimes I don’t want to use my mic, and having the character pronounce commands just like the free skins, is helpful and expected. Thank you.

General tips for above-average players.

I am by no means a “pro”. Although I would consider myself to be above average. But the problem is, as with many other above average players out there is that we have no problem racking up the kills but with dying. Way. Too. Much. And then end up losing the match by 1-2 points.

Many players can easily rack up 20-30 kills and have no problems with aiming and all that but we just die too much and end up losing the match by a single point or two.

For me, I average round 20-30 kills, usually carrying my team, but get 10-15 deaths as well. I always see myself in 1 v 3 and 1 v 4 situations in which I’ll get 2 or 3 of them before the last guy finally gets me.

So do you guys have any tips for dying less? Is it just being more aware? Playing less aggressive and more conservative? What can I do?

Unable to connect to game

Hi!

I need some help. My device is iPhone SE. I just downloaded this game. Right after the mini tutorial, the game wants me to play a multiplayer match. It never lets me enter.

The message “Unable to connect to game. Please try again.[1]” appears each time. If I press try again another 2 times, it will say that the match has ended.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the game but nothing changed.

Battle Pass too good to be true?

So it's day 1 of my Battle Pass. I've already accumulated enough CP to buy another 800CP battle pass next season. If the rewards are to be similar each season, theoretically, is a 1-purchase Battle Pass really a gateway to Battle Pass access every season? Given you raise your tier to 800CP worth and the BP remains 800CP.

Just confused, because I thought I'd be purchasing a BP per season. However at this rate, I am gaining more CP than I will ever lose, because I only use CP on BP.

Do you think Maps will change overtime?

Like wouldnt it be cool if all the maps changed after a new season? Like for example how the look of Nuketown changes so much between new cod games. From the basic present day one to a town in the past and then to a futuristic looking place like in BO3... Since COD MOBILE probably isnt going to get a sequel every year I think they should do this to keep the maps fresh.

Help

Could someone tell my why my charachter keeps getting spasms. When i am in-game when moving my aim cursor the cursor moves on its own in another direction or put back in the position from a few seconds ago.

Anyone know how to fix this ?

Type 25 vs AK117

So I wanna have a real discussion here. I am level 105, have both of them, and I have mained the ak117 from lvl 60, so I have a soft spot for it. Premium accounts have different match making

Anyone else notice this?

Since buying premium, every single game I've been paired with those who also have premium. Also friendly games seem much more competitive as I'm matched with people who have the same ranked tier as me, which is fine.

The issue is basically , you pay for premium to have nice skins and stand out a little bit from the crowd, but that's not possible when everyone else also has the same things. So you're basically in the same position as before buying premium - you're the same as everyone else. Before premium id obviously come across other premium players but no where near as frequently.

What are peoples thoughts on this

  2. Hackers they all wall back quick scope and if reported doesn't get banned
  3. Pay to winners they get battle passes and by that gets higher tier weapons with such as asmo10 type25 s36 worst of all the paying weapons special abilities
  4. Mike spammers i have encountered every time they die f*ck sake screams
  5. The b*stards think they are better than all of us and loses curses out
  6. Bots I've have died more than other people killed me in the beta they specially pssed me off because they have type 25 ak117
    7.people who always invite you on a game its annoying as f    ck

RIP COD mobile

I just Got banned for 10 years for wanting to play this game. I am an expat from Canada based in China who needs to use a VPN to have access to this game. Tencent yiu are a Chinese company and are banning people who actually want to play this game. I get the VPN thing but if there is nothing nefarious going on it should be OK to still play this game with a VPN.

Bots

Its really hard to understand why are their a minimum of 4 bots per match. Pubs are so boring, it feels impractical to play them due to lack of competition. And rank is not viable as well. I am currently Pro 5-Master1 territory,and it takes aaaageeesss to find a match. I have to play with elites and vets to get in a lobby,but that just feels unfair sometimes. At least disclose the number of bots per game. Their is such a huge player base. Remove the level/rank restrictions for pubs. Make them purely skill based.

TL;DR- Bots making pubs boring,rank matches are hard to find after Pro.

Hacking is getting ridiculous

Just got finished with a game of S&D where my team was killing the other team then all of a sudden the screens started to look like this and we would go on and lose the next 4 rounds when we were up 4-1. When are they actually going to start doing things about the hackers? This has always been COD problem is there games are always filled with hackers.

Battle pass missions won't refresh

Looking for any advice on what I can do I'm on tier 85 and have bought the Battle pass but now I only seem to be getting daily challenges/missions. I'm not tiering up because I'm not getting missions the only missions I have left are like 6000 mp kills, 400 sniper rifle kills and 2 or 3 more. Loading timeout in BR - Bug or something else?

It happened yesterday out of nowhere. Whenever i select to play squad filled Battle Royale, after the loading screen, a pop-up notification comes up telling me "Loading timeout" with two options 1. Cancel 2. Retry. Whatever you press, the game loads itself and brings me back to my lobby.

Most of the time, "lone wolf" mode, as i call the single player Battle royale is working fine.

Anyone else expirience this?

I always have to carry my team in ranked. In one match there was someone on my team with 0 kills and 6 deaths and another person on my team had 1 kill and 8 deaths
