Think twice before you waste your money on new weapon blueprints in CODM.
The HDR sniper is the perfect example of how badly things can go. It used to be a popular, reliable gun, and then after the devs decided to mess with its animations and handling, it became straight-up useless for most of the players who loved it. People paid real money for HDR blueprints, only to watch the gun get turned into something they don’t even want to touch anymore.
And the worst part? There’s no warning, no transparency, no protection for players. They sell you flashy blueprints, hype up new skins, and then later change the base weapon so much that your expensive blueprint is basically junk. No refunds, no compensation, nothing. Just “deal with it.”
This shows exactly where the priorities are: profit first, community last. They clearly don’t mind ruining weapons after selling cosmetics for them, because they know enough players will keep spending anyway. So before you throw money at the next “limited-time” or “must-have” blueprint, ask yourself:
- What happens if they nerf or rework this gun into the ground?
- Am I okay watching my paid blueprint become useless overnight?
- Do I really want to reward a system that treats players like walking wallets?
If the answer is no, then don’t spend. Let them feel it in their sales, because that’s the only language they seem to understand.
