Can someone please help me figure this out?

On their official post, they say September 30th at 9AM PT.
In my timezone (CEST), that should be September 30th at 6PM.

But in their Instagram story, the countdown ends at 5PM CEST instead. 🤔

So which one should I trust — the official 9AM PT time, or the countdown timer?

Ranked Is A Joke

I've been playing CODM ranked less and less every season with the intention to prove that getting to legendary means nothing since you can literally be lazy, forget the game exists for 3/4ths of the season, and still hit legendary before rank reset. Between bot lobbies and actual lobbies, I didn't lose a single game. I actually feel like a fraud this season for doing this.

When I am in multi-player and I've killed someone, 2 little gun icons come up on my screen, looks like ARs. I am not sure what this is or even means? Personally, on my load out I have the "overkill" equipped. Meaning I can carry a secondary weapon other than a pistol, rocket or melee.

Is this showing up bc I have it equipped or does this have to do w the person I killed?

Discussion post: Due to poor Balancing, Ranked feels very stale and repetitive now, not just right now but since an year or more, read desc

90% of the people onlt use one out of 5 guns: The MOW thermite, USS9, MG42, BP50, Tundra

While I do not have a specific problem with those guns being used by everyone as they’re good, I want to address the issue of how other guns feel very lacklustre and many of them can not compete with the meta if both players have the same skill or aim.

I agree that there has been a lot of toxic metas in the history of ranked, like NA45, Akimbo fennecs, and what not, but this has been too stale and the game starts feeling boring now if you are a ranked MP player

And the balancing is so poor that the stuff which doesn’t need a nerf at all get nerfed and stuff already good get buffed, some changes feel extremely unnecessary such as the new wildcard changes to perk greed and overkill, they were balanced as is, I don’t even have to mention about the other unnecessary balances throughout the past few months

I have been playing since December of 2019, and ranked has never felt this bad, and the fact that you get bot lobbies in grandmaster as well just sucks.

There’s been plenty of good stuff but I think we really need to look into this poor balancing by whoever is doing the balancing

My honest opinion on wild card changes

I think we all know that greed nerf was pointless soo I'm not talking about that

Overkill buff is WAY TOO OP like I want y'all to pick up 2 snipers (tundra and 3 line) and put fast switch weapon perk attachment on it and use amped green perk wtf do we really need to bring back the 2020 DLQ 33 spam ?

Bomber buff might sound innocent but there is a big problem martyrdom + demo expect because bomber's new buff made it that the blast radius increase basically you can die in a room and not even default-equipped flat jacket is enough to stop it (you gonna end up with 1 HP the worst case scenario)

KSS (kill street support) nobody asked now not only it's op but it also made persistence WAY TOO OP like who the fuck asked

Soo they buff the most balanced wild cards but completely ignored skil overdrive wow

And tactical shift (most useless wild card) that shouldve got the buff didn't even got the buff it needed

Wtf devs are doing who asked for overkill buff ? Or even bomber or even KSS timi stop BUFFING NOOBS GODDAMNIT

Seriously we don't need more buffs we need nerfs 2025 of codm was nothing but useless buffs and 1 or 2 nerfs I want y'all to look at the og days balance changes and then these

I hope they un-do the wild card changes because it's really fucking stupid wtf are y'all trying to do ? Make every casual players (most of the player base who trying to enjoy the god fuckin game) quit ?! It's not hard to listen to the god fuckin player base

Is the sound of the game just giving me problems?

When I am in a game or in the lobby, I turn on the microphone and put my hand on the listening speaker, it is silenced and only one can be heard (that is if I play without headphones) which makes me disoriented in a game.

I recently updated my Samsung s24 and today the new game update arrived, now I don't know if it's for the phone or the game.

I didn't play CoDM during the time when all the youtubers say that the the cbr4 has been s 2 year meta. Was it as bad as the current uss meta? At the latest patch notes a lot of youtubers are claiming that the gun is comparable to its prime now. The gun is super satisfying to use too.

Lagofast booster

They misspelled FSB(ФСБ)

I don't know if this classified as a bug report (I'm not sure what flair to use), but I don't think this is an intentional misspelling (e.g. to avoid copyright or something) given that they was able to name a MilSim skin in MW as "Russian FSB" and the ФСБ tag is still misspelled into SFB

I believe it's a misspelling similar to the ICR - Gilded Glitter (Bundeswehr misspelled into Bunderswehr)

Stream rewards are limited???

Apparently, NoahSunday just said on his stream right this minute that the stream rewards from watching the stream for x amount of time is limited to only around 50 uses; so once 50 people use it, you cannot redeem it anymore??? So if you're watching with even the slightest of delay, you have a very little chance of getting it?

Can someone confirm whether it is true or not? Because if it is, that is just wild False Advertisement.

What do you guys think of the stens base stats? Where will it fit in the meta?

Comparing it to the bizon it has better damage and slightly better RPM, accuracy and range is way worse though. It will be interesting to see how the attachments affect the damage and RPM. I assume it will have similar attachments to the vanguard version and a lot of the barrels and mags for it increased the dmg and rpm

How much did we expect from this new COD NEXT event that the game will progress, better graphics, smoother gameplay, gun animations and many more, but this is what we get, realize that the game is slowly getting worse, maybe they are cutting it off or something, then what of our thousands of dollars or hours in game? Do you trust CoD? What did they do to warzone mobile? That same might happen here, wake up, "DEMAND HIGH COMPENSATION" And threaten them that you will delete the game and rate it 1 star on play store, this is not what we paid for and showed support for, go against them for your rights. So I spent about 3 hours watching livestreams and earning CODM CPs. Instead of just keeping it all for myself, I decided to share the opportunity with my friends. Mythic AK117 ironsights gone

I was playing on Alcatraz a few minutes ago, went to pick up a ground loot AK117 and the iron sights for the skin is gone. After the match, I checked on the gun and it wasnt downloaded all the way which was strange because usually if its not downloaded all the way, it just shows the base model for the gun. I'm guessing that the 37.5 mb i have to download has some to do with the ironsights. It was kinda cool and interesting

My id has been hacked this guy has changed my game ID name and he has used all my CP. I have been playing since the beta version of the game that makes around 6 years with game. This thing is getting out of my hand. If any guys has a suggestion please suggest what to do as i have tried changed my password and i have enabled two factor authentication still he got in.

Unfairness in the CP codes from the livestream.

So, we got free cp for watching the stream, awesome! But because some people redeemed the code for their friends, and their alt accounts some of us who just werent quick enough (like me) missed the opportunity to snag some free cp. This is really unfair towards those like me. I mean if you watched the stream, you earned them but, redeeming the codes for friends and alt accounts? That's just unfair man!! Only the account owner should've been able to claim the codes

It is so much better than collecting dog tags. It is also a great addition for everyone who like to play solo vs squads because when you die you don't go straight to the lobby, you still can manage to come back.

Cod next for codm happened at the near end of the cod next and all we got was a announcement of WWE skins and return or mythic Ghost like who cares ? We already saw the skin in the leaks everyone especially the devs know about it that we know it so why the FUCK you even made the live codm Cc's was going to review the skin one day before release anyway why you put them there to play with skins and shit instead of letting them play a beta build of S10 and S11 with new revolving shotgun and SO14?

Dude this might piss people off but I fucking feel disgusted when mfs on chat said "bring back that skin ohhhh" LIKE BRO SKINS AIN'T THE MAIN CONTENT sure they announce DMZ but it was like:

-what new stuff is coming

-we giving codm players a NEW way of playing the game (I know it sounds like PC version announcement) we're adding DMZ

Apology to recent teammates

My game is extremely laggy after just one game now. As soon as I load into the game, it starts to overheat and lags so bad I end up causing the team to lose.
I’m on an iphone xr for this game and I know it’s outdated but c’mon I can’t even play a single game now?? It wasn’t like this last month so idk what’s happening. I haven’t updated to the latest ios too so what’s going on.

If anyone is facing the same issues I’d like to know how you fixed it (if you have).

Need advice to improve my HUD setup

Hey guys, I’m looking for some advice on how to improve my HUD. Right now I play like this:

Left hand: • Thumb: joystick • Middle finger: shoot + crouch • Index finger: jump + prone

Right hand: • Index finger: aim • Thumb: camera movement

I don’t use gyroscope because I still can’t get comfortable with the extra movement.

For settings, I use tap and hold to ADS and my fire button is set to hip fire.

Also, other problem is that the operator skill and weapon swap buttons feel too far away, but if I move them closer it feels like they block my screen (I play on a phone 14).

Any tips on optimizing this layout without losing visibility?

For anyone wondering if CODM PC Client port coming to global

So, just for context, BobbyPlays was collecting questions to pass on to the developers (or to activison idk), and one of the questions was about whether the global PC port of CODM would actually coming to PC. As you can see in the image above, we finally have an answer.

If anyone’s thinking about playing CODM on PC, my suggestion is to uninstall Gameloop and switch over to the Chinese server instead. Honestly, I’ve been doing this for a while now, and I got really fed up with all the stuttering and lag on the notoriously buggy Gameloop emulator.

And never spent dollar on that game again (already spent like $2k in total) and playing it from season 1, i just let be as it is.

lastly good luck to some peeps that still had high copium this game coming to PC lol

The Current State of CODM and why we shouldn't tolerate it

Before anyone misunderstands:

  • No, I don’t hate this game.
  • No, I’m not telling anyone to quit playing or to stop paying for skins.

Don't even try to comment something like that or claim that I only want to spread hate or something similar.

I’ve been playing since release. I own 7 Mythic Weapons**,** 3 Mythic Operators, and 3 Legendary Operators, I actively played the MP and BR-Ranked mode and reached (almost) every season legendary).

I’ve supported this game a lot and i'm not trying to flex or something like that, but I’m simply disappointed with the current state of CODM, especially the lack of new content and the weak communication between the devs and the playerbase.

Regarding the anniversary;

Some of you probably tuned into CoD NEXT for the free Ghost skin (and maybe hoping for big announcements). This is the game’s 6th Anniversary and I think that we should be celebrating with meaningful content. Instead, here’s what we got:

  • skins, skins, skins, skins and more skins and "omg ghost is returning"... (useless for F2P players).
  • “New” maps we already had before.
  • Minor animation tweaks you barely notice after a couple matches.
  • The only highlights? 800 CP (limited, not everyone got it) and the Ghost skin locked behind a 2-hour livestream that had issues

That’s it.

Yes, they announced DMZ Mode. But let’s be honest, that’s just CODM reacting to other popular FPS games like Arena Breakout and Delta Force. Is that really enough for a 6th anniversary? (DMZ btw has no release-date).

Looking back at previous anniversaries:

  • 5th: Just the Krai BR map (which later got removed).
  • 4th: Ground War mode, which launched with major performance problems.
  • And so on.

It’s a pattern: we keep getting the bare minimum.

What the Community Actually Wants

Players have been asking for years, and it’s not complicated:

This game is nearly 6 years old and there’s still no individual toggle in Audio to reduce the volume of explosions and gun sounds. I just wanna protect my hearing from all the random loud bangs, is that really so controversial?

The only way to reduce those sounds is by lowering the entire SFX Volume and that reduces some important sound cues like footsteps etc. Those two are interlocked! So many games out there give you options to protect your hearing, eyesight, you name it but I guess CODM devs are busy modelling another Mythic skin. Screw the player’s experience, ammirite?

Why is matchmaking so terrible?

Been trying to grind diamond on a few weapons and it honestly takes me 10 mins to find 1 viable match because I keep being put into FFA games where the top player already had over 10 kills. There is no way I can get 10 kills before they get to 20. So I keep having to quit matches over and over and over until I get a fresh match. But how the fuck does matchmaking think it's ok to throw you into a match that basically over in a few seconds? One time I got thrown into a match where the top guy was on 19......it's that bad.

Yup, ik, uss9, but I purely used it to just grind to legendary rank, after that I just go have fun with 3-line or Dlq or tundra in ranked or pubs

I don't really like how uss9 is overpowered but yet only really used USS against other uss9 abusers, hence why USS is #1 for me, if theirs no uss9 abusers in my match, I used T19, krig 6 or mg42

Anyways, I'm curious, what's the most used gun you guys used this rank season ???

Finally i did it

I was a couple of days ago speaking with someone on this sub and I mentioned I was still on GM4 in br (to say that i'm sort of a veteran player)... that person said that I was speaking as if being in GM4 was big thing (I was just comenting that I dont believe that the game is full of bots as they say)... I clarified that I was in legendary already and if I wanted I could reach Lengendary in BR, its just that I was grinding gold camos and was not that much interested in BR... well that day is today... A Few mins ago I was able to make it just before the season dies for the first time ^,^ .... now I'll rest.

Last week we shared all about many of the main new features, events, and changes coming this season including our WWE collaboration, but there is still a bit more to cover this week including patch notes full of updates, changes, and more. Season 9 Roadmap

COD NEXT & DMZ RECON
First off, in case you missed it we just finished revealing all kinds of upcoming content at our Call of Duty NEXT event! You can catch that full livestream and many of the highlights on YouTube or other CODM social channels, but we’ll highlight some of the main pieces of information. First and foremost, the reveal of DMZ Recon:

DMZ: Recon Reveal

This is an upcoming Extraction mode, similar to the original Call of Duty DMZ mode but updated with new mechanics and a new map, Serpent Island. This mode will also have its own progression systems and rewards. We’ll have much much more to reveal about this exciting new mode in the future.

COD NEXT RECAP
We also revealed during NEXT a bit about what’s coming in future updates. Mainly we went over the following:

  • First person weapon handling animations are being improved, which is already done on new weapons like the Ram-7 but we plan to update all or the majority of weapons
  • Player movement is getting an overhaul! Keep an eye out for more details.
  • New weapons coming - S9 - Sten, S10 - Einhorn Shotgun, S11 - S0-14 - Battle Rifle
  • Mythic Ghost is returning this season on 10/23 UTC

The isolated night mode for BR isn’t working, I’m guessing I can say something here but yea.

I have everything downloaded and have tried solo duo and squads on FPP and TPP and it’s still not nighttime in any of those and it’s a problem I believe everyone is encountering, but since the update just happened not many have spoken.

RPD - Road Mongrel is a great blueprint

As someone who has the Yellow jacket and whatever the zodiac skin is called, I gotta said I am very impressed with Road Mongrel. Its iron sight almost literally is a red dot sight, it's got a cool death effect and its geometry sets it apart from any other versions, blowing all paid ones out of the water. Great job there, devs!

Praise for Extreme Rules mode

Obviously we are only a few hours into the season, but I already love both the Battle Pass and the WWE tie-ins. In particular, Extreme Rules is self-consciously dopey but I find it authentically exciting and a fun diversion. I much prefer it to, for example, the weird racing games or willfully repetitive mini games like the Gundam one that we’ve had in our lives for what feels like 1,000 years. Anyway, kudos to the developers and may you win every game I’m not involved with!

Should this be a signatory attachment for the M16? (also hi again btw)

The 4x20 scope (the scope that I'm talkilng about right now) is the scope that was originally used by the United states from the Vietnam war with the M16A1 to the Iraq war with the M16A4.

I bet that majority of you guys are going to think that the scope would be a generic reskined version of the 4x scope and to that I suggest some solutions:

-Perhaps make the scope adjustible? (like give the players the ability to zoom from 1.5x/2x to 4x)

-Maybe give it some special effects? (ability to see through smoke, resist flashes from flashbangs, anything else that isn't too OP)

-Keep it as a 4x reskin but make it easy to get (something like 10 headshots)

Is this a common problem?

Is there any advice just to solve for this lifelong problem?

I left the game just because of this as I cannot flick or turn 180° or 45° quickly and yes I crashed out and completely ragequit(leaving the game) from this. Devs ignored Ram 7 mythic

Season 9 is here but still didn't fix the ram 7 mythic. The gun kick scale settings gets still set to 30 automatically. Sights still shakes compared to other mythics. Ram 7 is my first mythic, but I still love the gun since it's more balanced than meta unlike uss9.

Gundam rankings for Gundam TDM

I'll miss Gundam TDM, it's pretty much the one gamemode I genuinely enjoyed (to the point that I grinded all of the respective Gundam leaderboards for their respective avatars) despite the majority of the CoDMmunity saying otherwise. I'll probably make a video explaining why I rank them like this on my YouTube channel at some point (I was originally gonna rant about how shitty the current state of the game is), but here's a huge TL;DR:

Melee Gundams: They're absolutely broken. The very second you're within their lunge range, you're 99% screwed, and the only 1% chance is when you move backwards or a teammate Wing Gundam Zero (EW) saves you. It's not helping that they have a lower knocked-down time so they get up a lot faster and continue to screw you. I can't tell you how many times I've lost just because a Gundam Deathscythe Hell (EW) or Gundam Epyon stun locks me.

Justice Gundam:

I'll be honest, Fatum-00 is really annoying, you can be at the other end of the map melee fighting a Nu Gundam and Fatum-00 comes in and knocks you down before Nu Gundam screws you over. s1 (the Boomerangs) is basically useless, the melee moveset is busted as hell, basic atk is solid, and s2 is pretty busted too.

Nu Gundam:

The ult denying knockdowns as long as you still have the extra HP from the Fin funnel shield is horrendous, I can't tell you how many times I lost the 1v1 fight just because I couldn't knockdown Nu Gundam in time before it's s1 screws me over (Fin funnel). Oh and s2 is good too, at least you won't miss the shot if your enemy is in front of you. I'm looking at you, Justice Gundam s1. The basic atk is pretty similar to Justice Gundam, so no comment there.

Wing Gundam Zero (EW):

A really solid Gundam to be honest. It's primarily good for long range, but unlike it's non EW version (Wing Gundam Zero that I placed in tier C) the skills are a lot more consistent. I only use s1 when I'm close to a knockdown enemy so that I can knock them down again, but s2 and the ult is really good. I say this because I usuall...

Missing Gulag

So just an observation, I freaking miss the gulag, not just for myself, but for my teammates as well. Got matched ina team of two and poor guy got ambushed as he was driving alone, i came to get dogtags in Helo, but was ambused as we (blew up the my ride then blockes off my escape.

While this was amazing strategy from another team (taking nothing away from them), it still left me feeling like damn if we still had Gulag, we could've had a fighting chancs to possibly win it.

As I've always stated, I love the idea of Gulag, the fact that a players early mistake can be redeemed and they can actually end up coming in clutch for their team. (i.e first blood wins it all), it was the actual cost that was the issue. should've been able to keep our cash and buy our own way out the first time you landed there. thereafter second time costs 1500 and third 5000. fourth would be game over.

Sten - The most versatile weapon in CoDM

Tried three different setups for the Damascus grind. First is the normal one I'll probably use in ranked. The second one was a fun, hard-hitting setup with a 2-shot potential. The third one is a hipfire build.

The Hockenson 348mm B13S barrel is insanely good if you can hit head and chest shots reliably, which IMHO, makes it indispensable for a ranked build. The Sten also appears to have insanely fast STF, so the STF downsides from this barrel is barely noticeable.

The Tactical Scope is actually really viable to use, to lend better control at range.

Finally, I really think this is the new meta SMG. The Uzi has been dethroned.

I am pissed off at my younger brother for spending my chance up tickets after telling him not to spend ANYTHING.

My younger brother asked if he could play call of duty on my phone because he usually plays on his computer and our mother told him to switch off the computer.
I said yes, under the condition that he DOES NOT OPEN ANY CHESTS OR SPEND ANYTHING (cp, coins, tickets, or anything else). He agreed.
He hands me my phone back a bit later and says he didn't get the legendary.
I asked him "What legendary?". He replied "The chance up one". I immediately opened CODM. Low and behold - he spent all the tickets on the chance up which I have been saving up for when I have enough to get a guaranteed legendary =(
I had 4600 saved up - more than halfway.
Now they are all gone and I didn't get a legendary....
Long story short, he is not allowed to play CODM on my phone ever again...

Has any one else been having gameplay issues?

I’m a casual player. I play on my iPhone 13, but for the past few days I’ve noticed my gameplay has been very poor recently especially when I’m playing a ranked match. It will be absolutely fine but then all of a sudden everything goes very slow, there’s lag and then my gameplay will crash with a black screen. I have to close the app and wait for a few seconds and open it again in the hopes it will reconnect to the game and I don’t get a penalty for leaving the match. It’s really annoying me now with rank reset I hope it doesn’t keep doing it but I’m not sure if it’s just me or my phone! Is anyone else having issues? I’m not sure what to do

1 and 2 died one after another and quite immediately, even though I said I'm coming please wait, they didn't. Then some times later I died. 4 could've easier gotten my tags, I died inside the zone and he had a vehicle too, but he decided to just camp on the bridge.

In Gulag system we at least get a revive and even camper teammates can revive you.

we used to play at 10-20ms since the day codm released but now it looks like there is no servers for oman 🇴🇲 anymore its like we always connect to iran or uae (nearest) servers and we are gonna be at 70-100ms always. making us quit this game i used to be a leaderboard pusher but now there is no point anymore as i get killed even if im shooting at them first , no bullet registration now none of my teammates play anymore because of the ping we get.

It seems tied to the notification interrupting Gaming focus mode, as the only way to fix the stuttering is to hop out of the codm app and back in again forcing Gaming mode to switch on again.

So for the first time in 6 years I missed the last 5 tiers of the pb last season. Ive been working like hell because cost of living is climbing and my wage isn't... ive enjoyed this game alot, but it really panders to the unemployed. I would like an opportunity to buy the levels for a short period after it. Im not talking 10 or more tiers.

I got bored and tried a bunch of different classes and truthfully I didn’t know what shockwave did until this morning. Solo shotgunner downed a teammate and came for me I used shockwave sent bro flying and killed him with a freaking RUS! Also good way to combat igniter users. Send them hoes flying and take zero burn damage. 🤣 I played a match where it was just 1v1 and dude was camping behind a rock bro would not push me for some reason so when the safe zone got small enough I shockwaved him into the collapsing zone and he died. 💀😭

Let’s talk events… etc. lol fyi - super long read.

Apologies ahead of time that this is extremely long read but appreciate everyone who does read it through!

As someone who grew up on both Gundam (still watching) and WWE (Untill late 2000’s) they could’ve done more with incentives in these events. Gundam event was held for roughly almost what 3 months? That event had thrown out an excessive amount of uncollected notifications of useless coins/gundamXP that I would’ve collected rewards at least 100x over with but instead it went to waste for what? 80 levels for a legendary grade, secondary weapon, that how many people actually put in work for it, how many collected it doing nothing, and how many people wanted it still uses it or don’t anymore because of the next new things. Especially for those who actively participated and acquired the rewards within the first 2 weeks expecting more out of it to end up with a traumatizing yellow notification on every screen we went to…There were nothing else to look forward to for those we bash “that have no life” aside “ooh ima tryhard..ima be top 10 gundam global leaderboard” mehh. Who thought that was going to be a good idea at Activision/Tencent to go ahead and green light that uselessness, yall need to step up and explain how the hell you came up with that mechanics like it was suppose to do something beneficial? Hellllllaaaaaa people bitched about Gundam(and still bitching like bruh get over it, until you seen me drop you as Deathscythe 🤣 but idc if you liked the event or not. I enjoyed it for my own entertainment along with others) and then they throw WWE for the next 3months with this fuckery…. like HOW DO YOU HAVE A FULL ON DEDICATED TDM FOR GUNDAM then dial back significantly on WWE though… like help me make that make sense for everyone out there… At least i was able to play matches with the mobile suit gundams… on top the idle mini gundam…

Our team got absolutely demolished, then the MVP guy took my RAAL, literally killed us all with it several times and then we got nuked! Talk about both a crushing and hilarious defeat, I had never seen anything like this

Oh and we got swarmed by UAVs the entire time... I was the only one destroying them and using them for the team so yeah... It wasn't a match at all... It was a massacre.

The MVP even got that featured kill cam moment with my RAAL and I nearly dropped my phone as it made me laugh so hard lol.

Sten is unique but challenging to play

I unlocked this SMG and tried various combinations and found out these 2 which are good for me.

This gun is unique but at the same time needs skills to fully utilise it's potential. It's either high damage high risk or full agro shredder. The aimsight could be weird for some and the recoil kick is there but could be managed. Ammo capacity is very less except 50 drum.

The 1st loadout is balanced build which is bit slow with range. The 2nd one is a shredder.

Overall I think this gun is almost meta but a challenge for avg skill players.

I kind of enjoying this gun especially the aggro shredder build.

What's your gunsmith for USS9?

Just got lucky and got this without doing the full draw. Not super lucky -- I did all but 1 pull, but it's the 5k pull, so...still lucky IMO. I have the legendary one I was using before I got this one, and I used the FAS carbine pro barrel, but everything else just like in the pic.

What do you use that's different, and why? I'm still somewhat new to the game, so still learning. Appreciate any tips you wanna share!

Gulag Removed BR

One of the worst mistakes Call of Duty made was removing the gulag. Honestly, the main reason I came back to play battle royale was because of the gulag. Now, if you’re playing solo and die, that’s it — no way of coming back.

The whole dog tag system just doesn’t work the same. You need a good team to grab your tag, and half the time people don’t even bother. You can’t really play duos either because people disconnect, and then you’re stuck with nobody to pick up your tag.

At that point, what’s the purpose of playing BR anymore? The only time it feels worth playing is when Alcatraz is available — that’s still fun. Multiplayer is boring, and without the gulag, BR feels dead.

Some people say they prefer dog tags, but come on… gulag was way better. You didn’t have to depend on a team. Even if you died in the zone, you at least had a fair shot to come back. With gulag, you could play solo, have a bad team, and still keep the game going.

Honestly, this update killed the fun for me. It was great while it lasted, but I probably won’t be playing again until Alcatraz comes back.

Am I the only one disappointed by this update

This update feels very mediocre. It doesn't even feel like an anniversary celebration. Just feels like another excuse to sell $100+ lucky draws and crates. No new maps. The Extreme Rules gamemode is boring and takes forever to complete since we're just run around with baseball bats that 2 hit kill. Br nightmode is neat but it wasn't even working properly yesterday. The ultimate showdown event theme event is basically rock, paper, scissors. Other than that, it just feels like another reskinned season as usual

Absolutely unplayable

So it seems the game has become unplayable on lower end devices. Currently on a OnePlus Nord CE4 and there is no way to play the game any more it is lagging so much. Any one else having issues? Kilo 141 as an aggressive AR

Although the Kilo 141 is no longer featuring in many CC's Top-10 lists given it's fall from grace as a main AR, I feel it is being completely overlooked as an aggressive option which could make it higher in most people's lists.

Even though it's fire rate is lower than that of the RAM-7, its most aggressive build compared to the most aggressive RAM-7 build for a range window of up to 20m is very notable for 2 things:

  1. it has better TTKs with it's head and chest multipliers and over a better range, despite not having a single range-stack attachment, and
  2. it's ADS time, ADS movement speed, movement speed, AND sprint speed are all superior to those on the RAM-7 build. In fact, they're almost on par with the mobility stats of the AS VAL's most common/aggressive build.

Just started playing CoD not that long ago and what in the kentucky fried fuck is this matchmaking system? one game you get absolutely obliterated, the next you destroy them. I already want to quit. the fact that I get MVP for my team the majority of the time, and we still get annihilated?

I must have it backwards, because what in the world is the point of this game? in my mind I thought it would be cool to rank up, maybe even work towards legends league eventually, who nose, (👃) but clearly I was wrong. currently I am working on getting all my weapons to gold, platinum, damascus, and diamond but I can't focus properly with my mind constantly wondering "Why is this game called Call of Duty instead of Crashout Simulator?"

PLEASE CHANGE the Elite Token - Seasonal camo crates System!

u/COD_Mobile_Official - Please pass on the feedback that the Ranked ELITE TOKEN - Seasonal Camo Crates are messed up!

We have to play a lot after reaching legendary to collect these tokens - limited to 1k per day. And then, we can ONLY get 8 of these crates in 2 months because of the limit! and then, we don't even get decent odds of getting all the Camos because of the illogical system that gives same odds for separate crates with Pistols, ARs etc.! It's so brain dead to keep getting crates for Pistols / Shotguns EVEN AFTER ALREADY HAVING COLLECTED THEM ALL - which results in us getting JUST 88 CREDITS!

We end up with JUST 88 Credits for all the efforts thanks to the system that gives the same number of crates for categories like Pistol, Shotgun, DMRs etc., instead of ARs, SMGs and Snipers - despite having collected all the camos for Pistols, Shotguns and MRs.

I hope what I said makes sense, @ u/COD_Mobile_Official - because I am just typing this out of the frustration of getting 88 Credits in 5 out of 8 crates while trying to collect S1 Camos for ARs and Snipers!

Ranked Reset Blues

I work full time so I haven't been grinding too much since the reset, but as I have an hour or two of free time this afternoon I decided to catch a few games.

Ended up buying the mythic uss. I hate how dominant the gun is, but in ranked.. i have to admit i need it on occasion when im trying to carry teamates against sweats.

This is my 2nd ranked game with the mythic uss, on frontline crash. And as well as I think I did.. wtf is wrong with sbmm lolol.

Is there any noticeable difference between 8gb ram storage and 16gb on the IPad Pro M4 tablet?

My sweaty fingers is making the game unplayable for me.

I genuinely can't play normally because of how sweaty my fingers are. Even when i dont tryhard its sweaty. I also tried using flour and using a fan beside me but nothing works. Its been a problem since i was a child, and my siblings always complained about the keyboard and mouse being full of sweat. I use 5 fingers and it gets so uncomfortable aiming it makes me die to actual bots. my screen sometimes doesnt even move and keeps flicking everywere from the amount of visible sweat on my phone. Ive also noticed when i play during class break in school my screen suddenly becomes smooth and i actually play 10x better since my fingers dont sweat for some reason. anyone got tips?

new animations for first-person battle royale mode

Hello, I would like to share my feedback.
I am a veteran Call of Duty Mobile player, and I’ve been playing for almost 6 years. Over time, I’ve noticed that the Battle Royale first-person mode has been somewhat overlooked.

I feel that several animations are missing, which could greatly improve immersion, such as:

Vehicle entry animation;

First-person falling animation;

Sliding animation.

Another issue that really bothers me is the character’s first-person view, which feels way too low. It shouldn’t be like that.

I truly hope my message will be considered and answered. I’d also like to congratulate the game on its 6th anniversary. As a long-time Battle Royale first-person player, I’m looking forward to seeing positive changes in the future.

What’s the deal with the type 25?

The type 25 is getting a mythic I really like and I keep trying to enjoy the type 25 but I don’t understand it and can’t find a build I like.

What is it supposed to excel in? Seems like mobility is on the higher side and fire rate is pretty quick but the bullet spread is much less forgiving than other guns, especially at range. Is it supposed to be a high skill gun? Or is it not meant to challenge most guns at range? Help me understand it

Genuine question. I pay for high speed data, my iPad is brand new w 2TB storage and the game is lagging like crazy but my MS stays around 20. Will ExitLag even help this? I’m literally losing games bc I’ll slide for cover in SND and the kill cam shows I’m standing completely still mid map. 😭

I know not many players play zombie mode as much, myself included, but itit'still a great way to know what the weapon stats are since it's hard to tell whats the damage profile compare to mp or br, especially since these two already have different profile in between. its still a great tool to let players know which weapon they should use

BR teammate mad I helped kill someone?

I'm generally curious, so if someone can explain this to me if I'm playing BR wrong or something please do let me know.

I was playing BR and my teammate got jumped by another player. There was no one else around, so I did what I thought you're supposed to do in BR... Slide in and keep your teammate from dying. I guess I did more damage, so the kill got marked as mine on the kill feed. The teammate immediately started cussing me out on their mic for "stealing their kill" and spent the whole match complaining about it, so I just kept a good distance since it seemed to upset them so much.

I never assume enemies are bots, I've played too many rounds where that got me killed. So I always go in with the mind to support my team and keep them alive as best I can. I even step back and make sure anyone near me picks at the loot before I do, even if it was my kill. I don't expect that of others, but I like knowing my team has whatever they might need.

Is it really better to wait until your teammate is downed before you put any bullets into whoever they're shooting at? Like are people really that obsessed with their kill count and I've been committing some kind of BR faux pas by helping take down enemies?

Hey guys, I got screwed out of the CODM NEXT stream and CODM won’t fix it!

Hey guys, I watched hours of the ‘COD NEXT’ event live stream a few days ago. When I went to claim all of the free items that I earned, I repeatedly received the “failed to collect” error.

I reached out to CODM customer support and they keep on telling me that I will ‘eventually’ get the items, but nothing when to my inbox yet. I’m 99.9% sure they are just saying that so I can leave them alone. Anyone else has this problem? Attached are screenshots with the proof that I earned them all but didn’t receive anything. So as i was reading the manufacturer's documents , i stumbled upon something tge previous year's gun's design was hinted at the document of season 2 . Like serpent coil = drh kurohana 68 had a snake , sunflower = lk24 had sunflower theme . So i think trapped in toilet = skibidi toilet . But hey that's just a theory. A shitty theory.

Finally did it

So many years playing CODM and today for the first I time I got to legendary top 5k. Talk about sweats. I didn’t even realize the score needed until I saw my icon and I was like hold up, the last player had just a little over 8k, checked and damm I’m in the bracket. So happy for this milestone but I don’t think I’ll continue the grind. I just wanted to see the icon to my profile at least one time😅😃

Why even keep placement matches if they're all bot matches?

Just came back to the game and it already forced me to play 3 "placement" matches where I couldn't even select the mode I wanted and they were all bot matches, which nobody likes.

And even after getting max points they gave only 800 points. I got 300+ points per match anyways so the placement system actually robbed me off some points.

I was hoping the placement system would be functional and put me at least at grandmaster so I wouldn't get bots every match.

Also why is Snd only 4 rounds?

Quickscoping and hip firing with a shotgun.

Hey guys.
I have been trying to learn and master shotguns but I don’t really see any improvement😭Nowadays I feel like learning it is a must since most of the time I die it’s because of a shotgun player in a close range fight. What is the issue with the servers?

I get constant ping spikes up to 200ms, my game freezes for 5-10 seconds, and then my game goes back to normal. This happens numerous times a game. I have the best internet plan my ISP offers, it's not a user issue. Anyone else experience this?

blackout map ideas

As a veteran Call of Duty Mobile player, I feel like the Battle Royale Blackout map has been a bit forgotten lately. The map is still there, but it truly deserves more attention.

One idea I had would be for the developers to remaster Blackout, keeping only the Black Ops 4 weapons on the ground and removing the class abilities — or keeping only the ones that existed in Black Ops 4. That would bring back an amazing sense of nostalgia!

Also, since the Gulag was removed from the other map, why not bring it back to Blackout as a test? I think that would be really fun.

Facing a weird bug/issue

I have used tap and hold to ads for some time but now i am facing a weird issue. Whenever i try to use tap and hold to ads and try shooting while moving my joystick stops, my ads stops and, my shooting stops for some reason plus it’s pretty random. Undertaker Skin 1st draw

Why cant I get lucky on draws I really want lol? I have been pulling the first 1 or 2 draws off every single item that comes out ( aside from a few I have zero interest in like the 1847th ak117 or qq9 skin) for over a year and I still have never pulled a final reward.

I own several mythics and quite a few legendaries and fully understand the miniscule chances of pulling one early, but over a year I still haven't had any luck.

But now.. I have an undertaker skin which doesnt really match the aesthetic of any of the guns i use. Ill use it for a week or so, try to pair it with some of my mythic/leggy blueprints and fucj around with the execution. Then its back to the growing collection.

Has anyone tried the new kilo in this draw? The iron sight looks sooo clean.

The Guns that came with new animations system have slower swap speed than usual, making you begin reload slower if you swap while it's empty.

I think the raise swap anim should be interruptable with reload anim so that players can just tap the reload button to interrupt it and begin reloading quickly

Also the new guns have worse weapon state system, like the charging handle on the Ram & Sten return to full mag state when you cancel the empty reload rather than staying at the empty mag state.

I just chased an enemy in BR for a good maybe three minutes. He had misdirection and kept healing. Bro was jumping through windows, climbing on shit, zigzagging he even turned on me once and I was like fuck I’m dead and he just ran past me in opposite direction. I was laughing so hard the only reason I got him is bc he climbed up a ladder! It’s the little moments that make this game enjoyable 😭

And the worst part it gets automatically apply to any other weapon you use in that match unless you manually pull it down to zero. Trying to get an estimate so that I know in advance who’s lowballing lol. 5 mythics maxed out with the USS and RAM being on level 1. Last 2 pulls remaining on the Undertaker draw (Undertaker obtained early). All mythic draws were fully completed so the leggy lethals/tacticals are there too. The amount of deaths they all took had to have driven them all insane, especially since I was using thermow, martyrdom, and bomber/demo expert.

Remember when there was a actual storyline and not a random story each season? Now they just shove in new characters each season with no way of telling if they are protagonist or antagonist.

BR Has Been Unplayable

I don't know if it is because of the rank reset, but holy shit. I have been getting the worst teams on Alcatraz. For some reason even though I got Isolated and Blackout downloaded, it won't let me select them to play.

Holy God, the blue falcon chodes are out in droves this week. I get having bad teams and games, but Jesus Christ. I have gotten the cream of the crop in terms of shitty hands these last two days.

Does martyrdom perk still work?

Not sure if it’s just me but in my loadouts for HP or DOM matches, I’m not seeing a grenade getting dropped tho I’m seeing it for other players. Tried to swap it out for something else and re equipped it again but this hasn’t changed much. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Finally made the top 5000 solo on my 3rd season I play this game. I must say that match making sucks at soloQ they deliberately match you with trash against stompers if you stack too much mmr.

Anyway. Feeling good, enjoy the grind boys and girls just wanted to share :)

Just finished playing a ranked domination in nuketown. The opponents had not one, but two LMG users standing on the opposite buildings pointed their scope at B and were spraying bullets as if there's no tomorrow. Although my team won at the end, but the frustration and anger I felt during the game, like bro give me a break 😑

If you think ranked MP is the most frustrating, this might change your mind a little.

This post may almost seem like a rant on codm br because technically it is.
Compared to Multiplayer, the normal BR is more frustrating due to some reasons:

  1. SBMM makes it so that your teammates are potatoes, they are almost never competent compared to other squads who are coordinating too well, their squad is almost perfect. It's impossible to outplay those squads. For players who are even decently skilled at this game (I guess that I am slightly better than average), I never end up with a squad that actually put some fightback against enemies, I have to do all the hard work to survive.

  2. On the other hand, there are too many bots in BR which is also pathetic. Why not focus on giving us more real players too?

  3. Zone has been too fast recently, it's illogical because, maybe the third zone or something is faster than the first two zones. It is ridiculous because a player can't outrun that. There is no room for strategy if the safe zone comes in a straight open field where it's technically impossible to outplay even a slightly better squad than yours.

  4. Classes are imbalanced. Spotter class concept might look fine to some players but why is a stealth chopper or strafe run weaker than a class ability? Think about that for a second. The audacity to allow a spotter user to give multiple airstrikes charged is actually ridiculous. And don't even talk about the defender class, you get 3 shields to use consecutively if you upgrade the class and the shield flashes you.

It's frustrating because you get killed by random things while you may not even have a deserving kill on a REAL PLAYER the whole game of 20 minutes. BECAUSE THE REST OF THE SPACE IS OCCUPIED BY BOTS AND THE ZONE MOVES TOO FAST THAT WE CAN'T EVEN HAVE TIME TO FACE A GOOD SQUAD. KEEP RELOCATING TO THE NEXT ZONE and then get killed before you get to cover.

Maintenance query on Zombie

Hi,

It's really might be a very stupid question for some of you but I recently started playing Zombies - Undead Surge and fairly speaking I play well until I get to the scores and I am the least one to score. I do all the necessities like collecting supplies, material putting in the warehouse, killing zombies and I have killed almost all kinds of them but turrets, I don't really know how to maintain them. I see on the scorecards that all my other counterparts get points for maintenance but I get none. I really don't know how to maintain them. I keep upgrading them and moving them but maintenance that part is not known to me so please any of you can guide how to do so, so I can get score as per my potential.

Unpopular Opinion: Oden's skill cap is extremely low

Mostly hear oden users say that oden requires insane amount of skills and control to use when it doesn't, the recoil is not that bad, ADS is pretty fast and 2-3 shots at any distance, i don't think oden takes that much amount of skills as the oden players dictate that it takes, the only thing with oden is you need to pre-scope and pre-fire due to its slow fire rate

WWE Event Needs A Rework

I understand player retention is important but PLEASE, do not make two back to back collaboration events require over 200 PLAYED MATCHES and then be tied into a matchmaking system that pits you against stronger and stronger opponents to "balance things out". On top of that, you're limited to THREE MATCHES a day of which, losing even ONE match means you have to play even MORE matches is downright sinister. Please balance this out to be more player friendly in the next patch!

BR vs multiplayer bots

Why are the bots in battle royale absolutely awful? They literally cant finish a downed player and barely will ever hit bullets on you...

Then you get MP bots which aren't difficult to kill most of the time, but then they can go John Wick mode pre-aim you with all headshots and sometimes even through walls.

So why the huge gap? The BR bots need a buff or something... or better yet why cant they mimic bots gameplay to more of an actual player?

Another gulag post

Do you think we will get Gulag back? I hate the scan tag system. If i die now I have to purely rely on my teammates who sometimes wont even try to scan, even if we dropped and played as a team IDK.

Atleast with the gulag system you could have a higher kill more intense game, and not rely on bad teammates. It was such a fun mode. Scanning tags can be beneficial with decent teammates but with random the gulag system just works so much better.

Games end so quick with no gulag for your team if you all drop at a hot spot. BAM 4 deaths and youre teams gone. No longer can you all respawn and try and get revenge. Which apparently is why a lot casual didn't like BR gulag because they would get revenge dropped on and killed. Well they give you a parachute warning to find them again its usually a free kill.. no idea why people prefer tag system even with all the arguments ive read on many threads.

Not looking for a debate here btw just curious if its gone forever?

gulag is missing in solo mode

Hello developers,
I’d like to share some negative feedback about the removal of the Gulag and the revive coin in the Battle Royale solo mode.

As a player who mainly plays solo, I really missed the Gulag — it made a big difference to the overall experience. I’m sure many other solo players felt the same way.

If possible, please consider bringing the Gulag back to solo mode in future updates. It would make the mode much more enjoyable and balanced.

Facebook server but literally a different world

AM I ALONE IN A "PHANTOM" SERVER!? 😭

Some of my friends are facebook server in codm, but they have similar UI and shop of garena server especially having access to the events and they can add friend each other, unlike mine i can't add anyone due to different region.

Like everything in my account is totally different from UI, players invitation, Events, Shop, World Chat, and Leaderboards. I even became a leaderboard mp player with only 8k+ points because i am the only one in this server!

The only thing that is good is just whenever I enter a match everything was alright and players are actual people similar to garena server.

The only way i play with friends is to just send a link invitation via messenger, viber, whatsapp, discord.

Who must I approach for this problem?!

Microphone Problems

I have this problem when I try to turn on my microphone while using my speaker it wont pick up my voice, but it'd glitch and show that my mic is getting some noise. When I use bluetooth it's working perfectly fine as well, even if I use a wired one it's completely fine. Idk why it keeps bugging when I use my speaker, it wasnt like this before (like last month). I'm also using iPhone 15 pro max so idk what to do. I tried using my mic on my iPhone 11 and it worked perfectly fine when I was using my speaker while my mic was turned on. My microphone on my iPhone 15 isn't broken though, when I try it on another apps like (insta, dc, etc) it works perfectly fine. It just doesnt work on my iPhone 15 somehow.

COD Mobile JUST MADE THE DUMBEST BALANCE CHANGE EVER

For a long time i have a theory that Codm devs are actively try to kill the game so codm players getting frustrated with the game and move to other shooting games from Tencent but i have no real clear evidence.

But in 2025 after USS9 being dominated in MP for a year and AK117 in BR for a few years while players asking for a big nerfs on them but not getting it and now all the stupid wild cards changed, the game balance got really stalled and frustrated for a long ass time but the devs acted like they dont care and seems like they dont even use their brain to make these game balances, all they care is how to milk our money dry by releasing new paid skins, rerun skins, collab skins without BR ingame collab event like what we had from GOTS or Messy, Neymar collabs 3 years ago.

Zombie mode not getting any update for the past 2 years+.
There is still some small bugs, glitches in BR that happened for a long time without a fix and every season start with a new bug, glitch like this SS BR night mode not working but work on MP maps and last SS Alcatraz graphic got foggy and so on. Like every SS there is always somethings new to disappointed about Codm from game balances to game quality.

The game getting bigger every SS so does requirements of the devices. Codm is no longer low or mid end friendly game . Mid devices now barely playable and even alot of high end devices got overheat , FPS dropping issues.

Im from being a big spender in Codm who own 300+ mythics, leggys in total now refused to give the game any more money and i think you guys should too, who knows if Codm keep going in this direction, the game may shut down in a few years and all my money go to waste.

What do you guys think what in the future may bring to Codm?

My CODM keeps increasing in size every month because it asks me to redownload all the guns and skins, even though I already downloaded them last season."

Every new season, the game tells me to redownload everything again, but the total game size stays the same as when it was fully downloaded. That means next season it’ll probably make me redownload everything again, even though the size doesn’t change. Can anyone help me? It wouldn't be 18gb if i dont have this issue

These top 5k keep bottom fragging

I'm not even in top 5k but these people are soooo bad idk how they reached top 5k. I just reacher legendary and got paired up with them a few times and all these people are good at is turning on their mic and talking trash about others. I know my place I ain't going for the top 5k but Holy moly the fact I'm playing better than them (constantly at 80ms+ ping too) says it all. Does ranked even have any meaning now lol anyone can get to top 5k atp. These people can't even use uss9 properly let alone use a sniper th4n have the audacity to call us trash when they're not even putting in the work. Shards to cards?

Since you can get the AK117 Mythic with shards, it would be wholly unfair for F2P players to play with the base gun unless they spend it. What if you could “buy” the upgrade cards, with 1:1 ratio. If you think about it, its a lot of grinding to do for fully upgrading it, but I think it would be rewarding too. What do y’all think about this?

P.S. I’m not a F2P, but I felt like it would do them justice too

Updated Blackout and Alcatraz Map

There isn't much significant areas to update in Blackout and Alcatraz but there are still small areas in both maps which are needed to be added
In Blackout in both console and codm version are pretty much same except the BO4 version of the blackout has more vegetation and there are some residual areas near the firing range which is absent in the codm version.
