Can’t tell which one I like better.
Satellite Pros:
-MUCH better cover from direct fire and aerial scoresteaks if you’re fighting in the caves.
-The terrain outside the caves is much more wide open with less chokepoints, you can drive a vehicle much more quickly and easily without too much too much input.
-You can drive a tank to any objective and capture it, (except objective “C”) which is my preferred method.
Satellite Cons:
-You cannot cross the open terrain in the sand without getting sniped, you need to be in a tank or moving fast on a bike/rover. You’re also a sitting duck for aerial kill streaks.
-More cover around the caves works in the enemy’s favor if you’re using aerial assets.
-Extremely hard to build a score streak while sniping out in the sand, because snipers camp on the other side of the dunes. It’s a pointless sniping war. Meanwhile there’s not too many good sniping spots in the caves.
-Harder to defend your captured objectives from attack because all of them besides “C” are accessible by tanks.
Crossroads Pros:
-Much easier places to snipe from without getting sniped in return.
-Objectives near your base (A and E) are much easier to defend as they’re virtually covered from enemy aerial assets and are not accessible to tanks.
-Easier to use aerial streaks due to lack of cover compared to Satellite.
-Hard for the enemy to come jack your tank near your base as they’re tucked away behind the buildings near your base.
-A secret sniping spot (that I won’t reveal) that gets me the nuke almost every other time I play.
-Capturing “C” gives control of the ridge to your team and allows you to respawn and snipe almost anywhere on the map.
Crossroads Cons:
-No real cover unless you’re in the buildings on either side of the map or the tower in the middle of the map.
- The enemy capturing “C” allows them to snipe you almost anywhere unless you’re inside or behind the few buildings.
-You need basically an entire assault team to capture “C” along with the objective insi...
