I know Activision is facing one common issue in games
"Hackers"
To ban hackers is not hard
Hope you remember there is a word called "CD key" exist , you need to create a new type of cd key for mobile and pc games
The rule is simple
After the person download the game (from Activision server ) , the gamer will receive a cd key , (that cd key will be generated by user app Id + Mac address or ip address ) bingo you can keep hackers away because no cd key no access because even the hacker download a modded game , to open that game he needs a cd key which he will not have as that app is not registered from Activision client store
(One cd key can be used to open one account not multiple )
I call it the "Green key"
In short games will be downloaded from client server and after downloading they will provide an encrypted key to play that game , without it it's impossible to open that game
From client server you don't need to download the full game, only need to download the application file , once you install , you can download the full game , after you open the game , it will ask for a key to play that game , without that key it's not possible to play that game (that key will be provided from client store ) one key for one application file and new key if re download another application file even game is same (different key for different phones and different application file )
Not only that create an AI meta that will keep eye over every users who is playing
Basically mod users are newbies
As per my recommendation the best way to ban hackers is throwing them in a virtual prison
(Without letting the hacker know they will be thrown into a new server where they will meet abusers , other hackers and other gamers who violated game laws )
Showing them the mirror is to tell them how it feel if someone hacks and play
(Their IP & MAC address will be permanently banned, means creating new account will not help )
