#Lower difficulties are a bit crazy

The lower difficulties are way to hard right now, i think mainly the health + damage of the small raptors and drones mixed with the groups that were recently added is the culprit. Plus i'd like the smallens to go down relatively quickly even on higher difficulties.

My thoughts are to revert the heath and maybe decrease the damage just of the small enemies as i quite like where the big ones are at right now but there are other ways this could be rebalanced (you devs are awesome im sure you'll get it good :) )

I agree and underline that point. We (a group of three) played the game for the first time yesterday. For the first Crashed cargo retrieval we deliberately chose four red mission parts, each reducing the heat for the final part. Even the description of the part said "reduced enemy". But when we got there, remaining time until reinforcements were only 7 minutes, and wave after wave of enemies were coming in. We literally made it out on the last second (and probably a glitch, since the ship didn't take any damage when being docked). For starters or casual players this seemed overwhelmingly hard.

I agree with this. "Easy" is pretty rough with 2 man crew.
We are both pretty seasoned players (this and other FPS games)
Ground combat is ok (still seems like easy should be a steamroll imo)
It's the Ship combat.
Maybe just us, but it feels like our ship is coated in flammable materials and enemies are firing lit matches at us. EVERYTHING starts a fire.
I have pretty much everything leveled up to mark 3, so we DO damage.
The fights themselves are manageable (except the gun emplacement/CTF clone), it's just the task overload that's insane for an "Easy" level imo. (Fire, no ammo, hull repair, boarders, materia starvation on some missions, now Heat Level!??)

The intensity we experience feels more like a Medium at best. I can't imagine what Hard is like, and the posts I see in here about "game too easy" I ask, what the eff are you taking?

are you kidding me? i play moderate drunk and on sleeping pills solo? Nah just Kidding 😄 but trust me, the lower difficulties are darn easy once you have unlocked the Dart Fighter and learned to fly 😄

I think that's partly the point. The first two difficulties are there to be a tutorial of sorts and help get you started. Once you've made some meta progression they should be stupidly easy, by design. If they are too hard with a fresh account then something needs adjusting.

Keep in mind that this post was originally from late march, where the bug around spawn quantity was still present in the cargo missions (which is a large proportion of the missions that newer players are going to be playing), compounded by the spawn scaling from additional players.
