The flight controls 'feel' wonky on Xbox. Specifically the use of the bumpers to roll when the triggers are the throttle.
I recommend adding optimization since there hasn't been a 'set' way to fly on Xbox since Blazing Angels. And there are a bunch of flying games that all did it differently. If you've ever played Star Wars Squadrons, that was peak space flight in my opinion. Another really good example is No Man's Sky, they had a sense of scale that made flying around 'feel' good.
I love flying, specifically in space, love the game and would really like to see more capacity to optimize my gameplay 🙂

I would also like to see more options to remap pitch / yaw / roll on contoller sticks and bumper. All is already properly separated. It would a game changer for me.

As someone who has played quite a few spaceship games, I rank the controls for this one at the bottom of the list, though I can only assume that's because it's early access and the current focus of development seems to be content over polish, at least from what I've seen
Totally agree with this. Would love to be able to remap the buttons. And having "ailerons" connected to "rudder" really screws me up sometimes.
