When the ship left, it has left no rewards behind. Another minor bug also includes enemies sounds playing, despite they have left along with the ship.

Can confirm still an issue. Only encountered once since hotfix 20 no loot at all but the loot from the last 3 encounters of this task however each time has only been 2 items: 1 artifact + 1 small ship repair. If i recall correctly loot from this mission was alot more significant including credits?

we got 3 pretty nice rewards from level 4 missions tonight from our distress calls, it seemed to work perfect on our side today so there might be a bit more to it. The hour and a half 1 in first 3 maps

To add: I've had items marked with the yellow marker appear directly in my catamarans hold after this objective twice in the last week, before it would always leave them floating in space. Both when playing solo.

I've had rewards appear in my ships hold every single time since my last post. Pretty sure this is a change and not a bug

I've had this happen quite a few times now, most recently yesterday. Most of the time it doesn't leave an item and if you zoom all the way in on a scanner there's a 'cache' listed as being there. So every time I tag it and jetpack in to take a look but there's nothing actually there.
One time the distressed ship didn't even leave, after making the jump sounds it just stayed there and the cache seemed to be inside the ship as it was showing all the usual signals.

I believe they changed the rewards from floating loot, to instantly spwan /deposit on your ship playmat/blue loot bay. You no longer have to wait for it to jump and collect items.
Apparently it is stated on the voice over/objectives, iv been told

This bug need to be fix. I was in someone lobby doing some mission. After completing the distressed call mission. The loot appear but, disappeared instantly.

Yeah it was fixed for a little bit... I don't recall if it was in between patches or broke mid-patch, but it happened again after it seemed to have been fixed
