#Replace old core sub mission - Ship destroyed too quickly

Unsure if this is a bug or intentional, but when doing the mission where you have to return the replacement old core to the ship that needs repairs a bunch of enemy ships jumped in.
Before I even managed to reach them the ship was destroyed which felt unfair. Usually on this event I don't get the ships spawning (I think?) so I'm not sure if this was a timed thing to just destroy the ship outright if we took too long to get their, but either way the ship's health melted away very quickly before we were able to really do anything - it'd be nice if the ship had a bit more resilience to let us get there and protect it in time, or if that isn't the intention and the enemy ships are supposed to spawn in based on a hidden timer it would help to somehow know that there is an actual time restriction, either then a short 1 minute timer near the end saying enemy jumps are detected or a very clear voice line saying enemies will spawn in soon.
