#Mass Ejector Engine seems pointless

best used when you dont have dodge or in cases where theres so many missles you cant dodge
I have 2 cents im going to throw in later on this.
Ok so all of the engines are usefull, depending on how you are building the rest of the ship and how you want to play. Personally i dont see a reason for the mass ejector or the nitro pulse when they both sacrifice so much mobility for what you get. if you learn how to fly and dodge attacks with just your mobility the thrusters become a non issue and needing the flares from the mass ejector becomes a moot point. the drift phase is all you need to avoid taking big hits.
I have never been in a situation where there were more missiles or projectiles coming at me than i could just out manuver with the drift phase engine.
The Mass Ejector would be more attractive to me if it had more uses befor going on cooldown. 1 use on an 8 second cool down is rediculously long in a dog fight. especially at the cost of mobility. the nitro pulse could be more attractive if the boost charges recharged faster than the other engines.
maybe if the flares worked by not only defeating missiles but also disrupted targeting of all ships currently attacking the jump ship. 4 seconds of not being shot at followed by a 8 second cooldown doesn't fully give advantage to players while still being enough of a worthwhile tactic that skilled players could effectively use. would be good for closing the distance on a sniper or picking off a couple fighters from a strike force or even giving just enough time to make a jump out of a bad situation.
