I think it would be super cool if the different armor suits had special perks or bonuses like in other games. In Helldivers II, for example, different armor types have certain buffs or bonuses. Obviously there's the basic heavy, medium, and light armor which have different movement/armor ratings, but with those also come bonuses like being able to carry extra stims or more grenades (also you should add grenades) or it stop lethal damage leaving you at 1HP. Implementing something like that with the current armor would be sick imho. Not a perks system bc I feel that would be too much and there's already a perks system in place with the artifacts. But being able to carry an extra item with the engineer armor or be immune to radiation damage with the hazard suit for example would be pretty cool.
