Currently, there is only one airlock for this ship. And it only leads to a platform where you have to jump off from into Zero-G.
What I propose, is putting gravity walkways connecting to the platforms on the bottom and top of the ship. Without these, the ship is needlessly hard to repair the shields, components, or remove mines. As you have to jump into Zero-G; or sometimes on planets with gravity, and try to somehow orient yourself to grapple to these pads. However, you're likely to encounter the pilot boosting away as soon as you do this, or rotating the ship too eratically.

I've seen someone suggest that this is part of the "balance trade-off" of this ship. Where you get more manueverability for harder repair jobs. I must disagree. You already have a tradeoff of lesser shield points, lower health, one special gun slot, and a lack of turrets. This should be balance enough for the maneuverability. As repairs are not just "hard," they are borderline impossible.

Well, couldn't you just station someone there with shield kits on the platform?
This is a solution, but I feel like this goes against the game's design. While yes, it's a smaller ship and easier to disperse crew around. I think the game tries to maintain an attitude of "you don't just do one thing." The game constantly wants you to run around, doing repairs, jumping on turrets, doing scans, doing crafting all at once. Encouraging people to stay just in one spot on a ship just goes against my perceived design of the game in my opinion.

I don't hate what the ship is trying to do, I get the idea behind it. I just think this is what holds it back from being a decent alternative to the default, in my opinion.

P.S, I've only used this ship a few times so take my feedback with a grain of salt.

We already had a big argument about this. It's on their radar. Keep an eye out for the Dart rework
