so i played on my Laptop Yesterday after the Updadt and had to end the first mission early because IRL stuff, so i quit the game.
Today i load in and am holding the Railgun i fund on the mission i quit.
i played solo btw.
i now just tryed to bringing into a mission and it worked, it reloded it too,
It also kept the guns i was holding when finishing diffrent missions without having to quit the game.
is this intentional or just a bug?

This is intentional, they said they changed this in a post-demo video. You can bring some items currently in your inventory back to the hangar. I don't know the full extent, but you can bring guns and consumables at the very least.
lavish swift
From what I've seen, you can bring almost anything, but artifacts disappear (even if you have the one that keeps them from disappearing when you jump), and anything you bring, even materia containers, will be worth 0 if you try to grind it.
