Screen goes black for a second while audio continues uninterrupted

While playing the game, at random times the screen where I'm playing the game on will just turn solid black. After a short while everything returns to normal.

I have a RX 9070 XT with the latest drivers 25.6.1 (installed and restarted a few hours ago)
Cpu is Ryzen 7 5800X

This doesn't happen in other games I play and it happens multiple times per game session in Jump Ship.
I turned on the frame limiter to 144fps to match my 144hz monitor but the same thing still happens.

There is no crash, no fan ramp up (like the nvidia guys are seeing) the game keeps playing just fine after a second or so. It's just incredibly frustrating when it happens while trying to shoot at something.

No one else has this, I guess I feel special now but also still very annoying. Last night played with other poeple and at one point it happened every 10-15 seconds.
