This is a request, not a bug report.
I would like the button to drop weapons to be changed from the Y button.
When exiting the ship from a chute, you also press the Y button, so there's a high chance you'll leave your weapon inside the ship.
I think a different button would be better.

You can actually rebind button controls in the ingame settings. Although, it'd probably be nice if there were seperate actions for holding and pressing a button.
