The game development has some strange choices, some countries names are made in their native language (modern close relative language). Some religions also have this. And others have only english names.
The byzantines even have a game rule to change their title name.
I think the game design should be consistent and coherent and this doesn’t seem to be it, for me.
Although players can change it during game, it should be coherent from the start date.
Now that we are getting a Christian/Religion DLC, i would like to adress the Christian religions names.
Examples :
Catholic = Ecclesia Catholica.
In Latin, not English.
Orthodox = Ellinorthódoxi Ekklisía.
In Greek, not English.
There are many other churches, and religions in game that should receive this treatment, but being a Christian DLC i would at least hope that the game could be more historical and immersive. At least gives us a game rule to change that, please.
