Double clicking issues

I'm almost certain it's not my mouse. other people in the server are having the same issues. basically, any menu interaction will double-click and close said menu. most annoyingly when i go to click and drag to highlight all my armies for instance it just won't do it. another example would be when I attempt to scroll with the sidebar in certain menus it will unselect it immediately. please look into this paradox 😦 it's mildly infuriating

Try one of the mouse testing websites https://mousetester.com/
Software that's bundled aith your mouse might cause poll rate to be increased which might make mouse click when held. So test website with highest polling to see if its the switch inside not making contact.
Afaik menus like character search and some more will close after you send a marriage proposal, invite to court etc. As well as minor court position scrolling upafter hiring them.
That click and drag to highlight armies sounds like a mouse issue
If it's a mouse issue switch inside it can often be replaced but that's somewhat complicated (delicate soldier job). I'd RMA if possible and fix it if you want a cool project and it was an expensive mouse.

the mouse is fine according to this test and others I've done so idk. polling is also fine, in game it seems to be when i let go if left click but no software tests i do register that i'm double clicking
