When the thing expires if you win the war you don't fail the expiration

I was trying to liberate Astorga and I was in the middle of the war when that due date ended but I hadn't fully won yet so I got the penalty

Makes sense to me, like when a claim in EU4 has its timer reset when you fight a war over it.
