Without adding anything and simply running console commands, tauri won't compile because of a non-standard function call.
Skimming the issue, I have no idea how to fix it so I literally can't even start

Try updating your rust version

Yup it was stabilized in 1.7 https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/pull/105587

I don't remember installing rust so I assumed tauri just bundled the latest version through npm
