i keep getting disconnected and when i try to log back in it says “error: already playing “

This is usually just meaning you disconnected sporadically, and your character hasn’t been saved and logged out

So the main issue here is disconnection

Some players experience better connectivity when using a DNS service like 1.1.1.1

Otherwise, you can also try flushing your DNS

This seems to help resolve these disconnections but have to be done occasionally
