So I like that the territory exists but it feels kinda meh as it stands and not really that rewarding, most players don't really give care that their territory is being taken besides a few players because there's really not much to it.
Instead I propose that we add some depth to territory wars that will make people actually want to fight & push or defend their territory.
Week Long Ladder: (It'll always be active but resets every week or every 2 weeks)
- Every territory owned by a village gives said village "x" points every "15" minutes or every hour, etc... (I recommend making it every like 10-15 minutes to make it worth actually defending territory near enemy villages actively, rather than capturing it at the last minute of the hour to get the "tick")
- Neutral territory (middle of the map) are worth a few extra points
- Each Village will have its own "special" map that is gonna be worth 2-3x more points than any other. This is to allow big "raids" to push deep into enemy village territory and try to hold those special territories and force the enemy village to leave the safe zone and contest those important territories.
To capture territory you must have territory from your village captured & adjacent to the territory you wish to capture.
At the end of the week the Hokage/Kazekage/Mizukage of the winning village can pick a few different buffs to the village that'll last the whole week, example: (can only pick 1)
+10% experience
+10% drop rate
+Extra Ryo from missions
stuff like that.
This promotes PvP, gives territory meaning and makes people actually want to contest and fight over territory.
