So when I was a kid I played a byond game named "way of the shinobi" among other games that copied the same maps and formulas. Whoever worked on this game no doubt was a dev for those games or played them. In those games there was a tailed beast event that the gm could initiate, it was dependent on the village (nine tails spawned in leaf, sand beast in sand etc) in that game there was an ability you could train to potentially seal the beast inside of yourself when it was at a certain low HP threshold (it was like a 2% chance or something) if you suc-cessfully managed to seal the nine tails or other tailed beasts you would gain access to new jutsus potentiall, increased chakra and chakra regen speed etc. This created a super sick dynamic because so few people had the tailed beasts, and the rogue ninjas like the akatsuki in that game, could train a jutsu that allowed them to try to steal a tailed beast from somebody that had sealed it into themselves (this was also an extremely low chance of suc-cess trying to steal it with a jutsu) I think in this game it could be sick if they did something similar, and it would really change the dynamic of each village trying to protect their higher ups that managed to get ahold of a tailed beast. For the second suggestion in this post, I'm talking about clan abilities that are tied to specific clans. I know they said they were planning features similar to this when you are in character creation, but here is how they did it in way of the shinobi: If you were a leaf ninja for example, and picked the uchiha clan, you could still learn jutsus you'd only get from starting in leaf, but you also had a sub tree of jutsus and abilities that you would only be able to access if you started with that clan. Example is obviously being able to unlock sharingan, then advance that to different levels of the sharingan by meeting several different criteria (certain level, certain stats at the right number, other hidden/difficult tasks for unlocking thi...
