In late-2023, the way villages had elected their chosen Councils & Kage was changed in order to automate and remove extended GM intervention. This came at the cost of losing the unique political differences between villages, which was a key mechanic to the game that others and I valued.

Some of us would like this to be brought back, and I am willing to further discuss how it could work / be automated if interests are peaked.

For those who are new and missed out on this era:

Leaf was the same as it is now
᛫ Council was voted in, Council chose Hokage

Sand was a Monarchy where the Kazekage chose one of three kids to be the heir
᛫ Chosen Heir chose their council

Mist's Mizukage was chosen through a tournament of power
᛫ Mizu also chose their council

Ngl the way things worked was still flawed though as seen by leaf today one of the issues being that council are too cowardly to impeach a kage that's been afk or lapsing on the job
