#Breathing/BDA showcase video on release?

That kinda ruins the point of yall playing the game and experimenting to try things
Fair but progression takes time
Especially in an rpg game
So trying every thing will take quite a decent amount of time
And eventually people will just drop showcases themselves
So it should only make it simpler
Although ig that's the appeal but my second point still stands
That's... sort of the point of an rpg game
Because people know it will get views due to players not wanting to explore and try things themselves anymore
People mostly just want things handed to them in games with tutorials and walkthroughs for everything
I think they should leave that to the YouTubers and stuff
Fair
I think we should bonk the youtubers that do it and make people play the game for themselves
Or that too😂
I see nothing wrong with a BRIEF showcase of like 1 or 2 abilities while choosing something that essentially defines your gameplay for a huge portion, if not the entirety of your play time.
Showing first and second skill only seems fair, or if there are basic attack effect changes, showing those and just the first skill seems just as fair. Yes the game is meant to be played, but in my case I'm an adult with a life and realistically want to choose one thing and stick to it for literally ever. Nothing wrong with me wanting that life long decision to be aided by a SMALL showcase (do not show me anything too cool or I will lose my mind)
no matter what, four days in there will be a showcase of everything
Well yeah of course, that's the case with any game.
But there are people like me (I hope) who don't look up any media related to the games they play until they put it down entirely.
my point is mroe that the showcases will happen no matter what, there is no need for the dev team to make videos of the content
i disagree
i think players would want to have a general idea of the breathing/bda before they actually obtain it, especially since switching breathings/bda isn’t immediate
assuming the showcase is kept brief, players would still need to actually try out the breathing/bda themselves to get a proper feel for it, and to see whether or not it actually suits their playstyle. so the “exploration” part is somewhat still present
I know that players will want the showcases, but they will be made immediately by creators and kinda ruin the point of games, as I said
i think our ideas of the showcase videos are different
i was thinking more of a brief teaser vid just to kinda show off what the new breathing/bda looks like
I know
my point is that the videos will be made immediately no matter what, that is the state of gaming now, it doesn't matter if the devs make it or not
fair enough
people are so desperate for previews and summaries of how things are rather than just trying and taking the time playing
not much practical use for it, but it’s still pretty nice to have
maybe the devs can release a teaser before the actual release of the bda/breathing
but it’s probably too much work
just read the post’s title, didn’t realise he specified “on release” that’s mb
