Been watching ghost of yotei and one of the best things is the drip. Add samurai type hats mask and armors/kimonoes/fits that all give stats/certain unique passives,make sure to add a good variety of them and they have to be stylish to add a deeper immersion to players characters and builds
Add good customization to everything ,weapon sheathes ,dyes.certain equipment doesn’t have to allways just be something u buy with money or an rng boss drop it could be certain quest that u have to do fight the boss beat it and then u are granted those things but the quest would have essentially have a path of quest to complete first
So the game also feels rewarding while still having boss drops and etc
